Nice place for a variety selection of hair care products for black 🖤 women and men!

I found what I needed as soon as I walked in the door, and was able to find more items conveniently. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because their customer service could be improved. At least a simple hello walking in and thank you when checking out would be appreciated. The cashiers could be better trained..

I love this shop. Every possible hair supply you could want is found here. Really well stocked with affordable prices.

I love going here for when I want some earrings or eye contacts, maybe a few extra jewelry pieces. They also have great selections on hair, and hair products, etc. They have a variety of products to choose from. Check it out. And I feel they have good prices for there products.

Very disorganized and oddly laid out. Its hard to find what youre looking for and when you ask their employees for help they have bad attitudes, dont really listen to the question and point you off in the wrong direction. Furthermore they dont sell many if any natural products and if they do their employees will tell you they dont. There are many better stores in the area this one is a waste.

This is my go to beauty supply store! They had a lot of options. They did stop selling Someone of there hair but they still have other great options and color. They have hair for all kind of styles, the have all kind of hair products, wigs, everything you would expect from a beauty supply store. The people who work there are soo nice. Me and my sister never really had a bad moment. I would recommend this store!

Lawd, not sure how the inventory report goes at the end of the year, heaven help them. This has been the most cluttered, unorganized steotyped location I have ever visited.Gentlemen at the door, wasnt helpful at first, but warmed up later.They had a nice selection of brand name hair care products, just was all over the place. Some prices were high, yet this is expected in this area.

I have gotten to know few of the ladies working in the wig section and they seems like decent peopleHowever the over all customer service is terrible its almost like everyone said youre constantly being watched!!!!Today I went over and I saw one of the employee coughing into the trash canI mean come onthis is an inside the store could you go to the bathroom and when I told him he cough again in an open trash can doing covid-19 tell me how safe is their sanitary situation in there if someone is doing that in the public where people are walking back and forth!Just as a beautiful person with a terrible reputation dont look so prettyeven if they carry alot of product because of everything else they do it overcrowd the beauty of the placeI will not recommend this place to anyoneIf you want to be watch go hereIf you want to be ignore be hereWish there were a zero star because that what they deserve

Hair, hair everywhere! If you want anything to do with hair, this is the place - wigs, extensions its all here. Cater to African clientele, but plenty for all races. Incredible inventory. Inexpensive jewelry & helpful staff. Reasonable prices. As of today, June 23, you must wear a mask & limit of 8 people in the store. Ample parking, easy to find. Become a member of their club and get deals - you even qualify for discounts the day you sign up! Clean and neat business.

First time going there not bad to check it out. Will probably go back when I need to

Needs better selections of wigs

Dont like being watched like Im a thief. Cant get help when needed because of the assumption that Im a theif. Besides that they have a large selection of hair care products.

Great prices, really helpful service, if they dont have something you need, they are kind enough to send you to someone who carries whatever your looking for. They have an endless supply of hair care products, everything under the son, and every color as well, they also sell random extras like accessories, hats, gloves, ECT.

Poor customer service! Store is so cluttered with miscellaneous items its confusing. Ive never been to this store so I asked an employee where could I find what I was looking for. I was specific about my request. She acted like she didnt hear me and was bothered by my request. She responded in Spanish and pointed away from me. So I asked another employee she too pointed saying that way. No direction just pointing! As new customer and black woman looking for a beauty supply store to shop for my hair care needs I felt unwelcomed and disappointed. Black Americans spent millions of dollars on hair care products. If its not black owned Im not shopping there. If you know of beauty supply black owned brick and boarder or online please let me know!

Great place nice selection .

They have a great deal of stuff and not organized. They need someone dedicated just to the wigs.

This wigs and hair are beautiful but the customer service here is of poor quality. No one offered to help me with buying a wig. Instead of helping, they was more concerned about closing the door right at 9:30. In the middle of trying on a wig they even cut off the lights in the store. This store will not receive any future purchase from me.

They so busy watching all blacks when the own colors stealing left and right the sad part deals is all Blacks dont steal! But then they have the audacity to have you try on their wigs with a plastic cap on the big do not stay on your head and slide off Ive been stop shopping there

This is my go-to for ethnic hair care supplies. Im convinced if they dont have the hair youre looking for, they dont make it. They have everything from the cheapest $5 bundle to the most expensive real hair. They also have hair care products and accessories, including a great selection of kids barrettes, beads, clips, etc... The downside is that they have enough product to be in a space 3 times the size so its cramped and cluttered. The staff behind the counter are pretty helpful (the guys) but the women on the floor do not speak English.

I love the staff here. Fun, & super happy. They have a really nice product selection too.

Been going here for YEARS. Lots of product variety and usually the best prices. People who work there are nice and helpful, but they do keep close eye on you as you shop.

What I hope international ppl come to understand running these types of businesses; is that not all black Americans steal nor will some overlook the fact, you have bad customer service skills and aren’t knowledgeable about the products we wear and get rude. We definitely pay attention to those things and some will gladly go to those who understand that it takes more than just u collecting the money to have a flourishing business.

Cool place, only wish they had private area for trying on wigs. Some people are not wearing wigs by choice, but because of hair loss or other issues. A little cluttered but Ill go back again.

I literally just left the store to spend $$$, but the man at the counter continuously watched me and another female as if we were shoplifters. Every time I looked up, he was staring at me. Then he’d hurry up and turn away. He then scooted over so I couldn’t see him, and continued watching us again from behind the counter. This lasted for five minutes, which is very long in a store. #1, he could’ve said “Good morning or hello or how you doing?”, Continuously watch us like we’re criminals thinking you’ll get my $$$-. Please! I will not shop here anymore !

It was my first time in Coco. Rachel was very pleasant and helpful. I read bad reviews but was told their is new management. Glad I checked it out for myself. I will definitely be back.

Need bigger aisles with more space to move around in and another location in the North town mall, Fridley or Coon Rapids area and lower wig prices

This is one of the few stores Ive been to since moving to MN where Ive been able to find products for black hair care, after wasting tons of time and gas driving to different Sallys Beauty Supply stores. They have a wide variety of natural hair products, wigs, weaves and accessories. I do find them a bit more expensive than the stores I frequented in NY however.

This store has it all and great service.

Its a really nice place and the top it up when they have sale it makes shopping even better but there is one thing I really dont like about there I almost feel like Im being followed the whole time on then watch you going there to steal something else I understand that shoplifting but you cannot treat every costume of the same way I was very offender

They never have anything I need which is probably why they don’t do returns. Staff here is incompetent don’t know nothing about weaves or product and barely help you when you ask. Go to a shop with Africans that know about hair.

Funny people want your money but dont want to help you. The people who shop in the store are more helpful than the ones who are actually working the store. Then to be followed around like youre going to steal is the most annoying thing. I think Ill take that 30 min drive to St. Paul

This place is packed with great deals and products! Reminds me of 7-mile.

Wigs are too expensive. I normally shop online. Im noticing they are charging about $20 and $30 more for their wigs than you see online. The styles are out dated. They someone to help maintain the wigs. They were on the floor where people had tried them on. Very messy wig area and crowded.

Horrible experience last night. Followed the whole time by a woman. When I went to check out, I didnt recognize anyone behind the counter, so I asked if they had changed ownership. She said she didnt know, but then started talking to the women who had followed me in another language. Of course she was right behind me still! They continued this conversation the entire rest of the time as I checked out! I know, I was part of that conversation by how her eyes would look at me and my daughter. Poor etiquette. I will not be back.

Just spent an hour in their store trying on wigs and came out with nothing. Everything I liked was unavailable or the last one was the one display. All of the display wigs are so ratty! How can I even know if I like the wig when it looks like that? I should have taken pictures. And the guys they got working in there don’t understand English so it’s useless even asking for help.

RUDE!!!! Didnt even look for what we were looking for. Speaking in Spanish making fun of customers. I let them know I speak Spanish too.

I enjoy the diversity and friendliness of them employees .They are all willing to help (except for the one older guy) but I think hes just older so he doesnt like to have fun at work . Anyway great prices and varieties of hair products to eye lashes .

Very high customer interfaces, they have taken the time to enquire of ones special needs and introduce various options to fulfilled ones needs.

Clean space with a large selection and plenty of helpful staff willing to assist and look in the back for items . . . We will continue to drive up from the city to make purchases.

It has all the stuff you need. But they do treat all black people like they are going to steal. Also it has a weird vibe. The staff consists of immigrants who act rude at times, never smile and gossip about customers. The men who work there ogle the women and flirt.Yuck. They are never all that helpful. But they have a large selection of products aimed towards black people. Over all its not like going to Sallys. Its an akward experience. Im always glad to leave.
