Their location is perfect they are conveniently open when other grocery stores are not even the big stores holidays you can always depend on Foodtown for that last-minute ingredient or food the staff is professional Ive been depending on Foodtown for over 15 years they seem to know the community always have in-stock what you need inventory is always full

My favorite store to get plenty of meat

This was my third time at the store, I needed something quickly and they didnt seem too busy. This is an older store inside. Prices on some items were inflated, lots of meat items at reasonable prices. Unfortunately staff was very rude, especially the lady cashier. This is too bad because the majority of the customers are Africian American who live in the Neighborhood. They should be more appreciative and friendly to their primary customer base or leave the Neighborhood. I even over heard several people talking about their negative experiences with the staff which was pretty bad. Please get it together Food Town, you provide needed products to members of our Community, show some respect please..

Meat prices are ridiculously inexpensive. The staff is always friendly and warm. The store needs a bit of an upgrade. There is always a smell lingering. They always have the seasonings i need and for a good price. I dont too much buy out of the freezer section as those items are extremely high in price. I avoid that section at all cost. The veggie section needs to be revamped and needs to be more fresh than what is it. If it is meat, seasoning, snacks or drinks then this place is for you. Oh they sell alcohol too. I dont drink, but for anyone that does, this could be your one stop shop

Since Metro Mart in Shorewood is so expensive & since Aldis on Capital Drive East has reopened with its inflated prices we have been forced to go back to Food Town. Actually the store is not so bad as long as you get there early and as long as the clerks are in a good mood. They have a decent selection and their store prices are very reasonable. They especially have fat & meaty Turkey Legs (hard to find in the city) and they have an amazing stock of pork. Go early to avoid the crowd and the situations in the neighborhood.!

Love to shop at Food Town. They have reasonable prices on their meats and other items in the store. Ive always shop there for years. The store is very clean and comfortable to do your shopping anytime.

It was a pretty clean store most of the products had no expiration date on them that was odd. The products had numbers and codes but no legible exp date. Also a lot of the items with legible dates were expired overall the food is not fresh thats a big problem

Ok meat market, just like other stores and all foods, you must check dates on the product. Mostly pretty fresh but prior I ran into some dates that meant near spoiled if not used soon. Nice prices but can be tricky.

I Love Foodtown their meat is fresh and cheap I have never had a problem with customer service there they sale the large container of Goya seasoning I love it.

I was looking for a new place to shop, since the bus route on Appleton no longer goes to Menominee Falls Walmart, and the Walmart on Silver Spring is essentially garbage. So I tried my luck at Food Town. Its right off Fondulac Avenue, so its right off Hampton Route 12 bus route. Its a bit of a walk around the corner in Winter, but the food is decent with more variety compared to SavALot on 76th, and the Customer Service there is helpful despite any language barriers. I got most of everything I could possibly need here, so Im pretty satisfied. Good alternative to other places in the Hampton Heights area.

Today is 12/25/16 they usually have the regular black cashier working but I guess they honor Christmas and the owners dont! Idk if they are Iranians or what? But today I witnessed something so disrespectful... one rude man with a gun on his hip snatched a customers money threw another food back to her... I have NEVER shopped there and I will never again ... I forgot something for my dinner today and that was the only place open and ugh they are rude. They talk to people like theyre better then someone and trust theyre NOT

Since the new owners took over they are so rude I was in the store a couple days ago I asked one of the employees about a case of ribs he directed me to a cooler where they only had rib tips I tried to ask him again about ribs he acted as if he did not understand English I asked an employee that Ive seen there many times he pass me by and said that he didnt work there and then proceeded to go into the cell phone area behind the counter
