About a year and a half ago I happened to walk in to the store on Water Street. I knew I wanted to make my first rug purchase but didnt know much else beyond that. My thoughts on size, color, and style were gently guided for the perfect fit. Today I was so excited to return to make my second purchase after loving the heck out of the first rug. I couldnt be more pleased and am so grateful to have walked in so many months ago.

I highly recommend Orley Shabahang. The rugs are one-of-a-kind, gorgeous, and of the highest quality. Each one is like a piece of art. Add to that the fact that the owner is an architect with an outstanding eye for selecting the perfect rug for the space. He did not pressure me to buy. He just wanted me to love the result.

My wife and I looked at many rugs over the holidays for our living room. We found one we really liked, but it was a little too large. Steve, in the Whitefish Bay store, directed us to their Milwaukee store to see if they had a similar rug, they did and it was the perfect size also! When I called to schedule an appointment for them to come out to assess 6-8 rugs which I wanted cleaned and repaired they actually came out that very day, gave me an estimate and took the rugs with them. I was pleasantly surprised when the work was completed sooner than I had been led to believe. And they did an outstanding jobs repairing the rugs some of which were quite old. Bahram (one of the founders) was exceptionally kind to offer information about two of the rugs which I had bought at an estate sale rather than from a dealer. It is not only his depth of knowledge but the obvious love he has for the rugs and the entire process of creating these works of art which informs any dealing with him. I would recommend him and them wholeheartedly.

A perfect fit! Bahram Shabahang and his team have always done a fabulous job of finding the perfect carpets for our homes throughout the years. He has a great eye for color, a very fine sense of design, and a keen appreciation of the architectural surroundings of our place. Over time, we discovered that we were not just purchasing a carpet but we were also developing a love for the artistry of the weavers. Each piece was a perfect fit every time.
