Ive been going to Mill Creek Family Eye Center for the last 4 or 5 years. Most of my life I didnt need glasses and was the black sheep among the family of glass wearers. Once I hit my mid to late 20s I noticed a change in my vision that was becoming troublesome during every day work/life. The staff of Mill Creek Family Eye Center helped to make me feel reassured that I wasnt loosing my mind, and there were tips and solutions to my problems (not just glasses). The staff from the front desk, assistants, to members who help you find the right pair of frames and ensure you get the added protection for your lens are extremely friendly!One thing in particular I wanted to point out was how clean, well organized, and adequately held up to standards their entire office is for Covid protocols. Hand sanitizer is readily available, temperature readings, social distancing, mask mandate signs, and they sanitize their equipment, tools, pens, exam rooms in between each patient. They receive an A+ in my book! Definitely recommend an appointment with them if youre looking for a new eye doctor. Theyre scheduling process is quick, easy, and they can get you in fast! Love these guys and girls!

The experience at this clinic has been great so far. Both Dr. Brooks and Dr. Davis are great. After trying a dozen other places, I was able to find a same day appointment. In fact, received a call back for the voice mail Id left (who does that anymore?), got seen the same day, and was treated for an eye infection. Been back again for minor issues but never got any judgemental vibes from anyone here.

Great staff, from the front desk to the glass fitters. Good selection of frames - can always find several frames that I love.

This is a great Eye Care Place! Staff seemed to very knowledgeable and professional! They were not pushy or anything. They also have a place for donating old glasses if you want.

Dr. Davis is top-notch. He took the time to explain everything. Caitlin was very helpful with all the options I had to choose from with my glasses and sunglasses. Very personable and had a enjoyable talk with her during the whole process. Glad I started going to them.

Dr. Ha was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough with my exam. Also, picking out glasses was COVID safe and they had a huge selection. The opticians were also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. One of the best eye centers I have ever been to .

Everyone was so nice! I was greeted nicely and I was extremely happy that I was given a choice to not have my eyes dilated because I was worried about that! Dr Brooks and his assistant were very pleasant and it was a positive experience! I then met Tom who helped me in picking out frames and what would be covered with my ins. He was really nice and we even laughed a bit which was fun. If I could give this office 10 Stars I would! Thank you!!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, think I’ve been seen by 3 of the doctors. Always wonderful, from check in to check out. I’ve purchased a couple pairs of frames and when they needed minor repairs, never an issue to just walk in and get them fixed . Plus I get refills on my lens cleaner spray…. nice perk.

Right from the beginning till end we received the best service. I was there for my 7 year old’s eye exam and it was the best experience for her so far. She has been visiting the opticians since she was 4 and she has never been so comfortable. Each and every member of the staff was super friendly and patient with her. They explained everything to her and answered all her questions. They had a good collection of eyewear to choose from (more options than most the places we have been to). I will always go back .

Everyone was so nice. My doctor helped me with prism in my glasses when other doctors didnt want to give the effort. The lady that helped me pick out glasses was amazing and made it so comfortable and easy to find a few pairs. I loved this place.

So friendly and professional. In my first visit Dr. Davis updated my glasses prescription and got me in contacts (for the first time when my other doctor couldnt after several tries) all in under an hour. So grateful and excited. Would recommend to anyone!!!

Great clinic! Everything was so clean and nice, and the exam was very professional. All my questions were answered. I will definitely be bringing my whole family here.

The staff at Mill Creek Family Eye Center is incredibly, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They explained every phase of the examination thoroughly. Before using any of the machines, staff make sure that they are sanitized. You feel you’re safe there.

They are a full featured Optometry clinic. They also have newer diagnostic equipment. Overall, I am pleased with their professionalism and staff. They have had me use their Optomap tool, but the patient should beware that results from that are only fair and some insurances do not cover that. FYI, that is $130 per use.I was stunned by how much a simple eye exam now costs. Can you believe $450? I am a diabetic as well, so everything seems to cost 2x more than a regular patient and am not covered by traditional vision plans. I am default a medical billable patient which dramatically changes coverage.Time to go shopping for a more affordable Optometry clinic. FYI, the office will find ways to work with you and the insurance options with you. You only need talk with them.

Im happy with Mill Creek Family Eye Care Center overall. Like most other businesses these days, they stack as many appointments in a day as they can. Since I work days, by the time I make it in for an afternoon appointment, they are behind, causing my appointment to be late every time Ive been there. I chalk that up to the way businesses are now, hence the 4-star vs a 5-star review. I feel I get very good care. Its just always later than my scheduled appointment, without exception.

Dr. Davis has a professional and kind approach to caring for his patients of all ages. Our daughter is seen by him as well. I had a prescription from another optometrist that left me with headaches. Dr. Davis corrected the prescription and now my glasses don’t contribute to headaches.He is also a dry eye expert.His staff (e.g. Caitlin, Chastity, Drew, etc) are helpful and friendly. All of them helped me pick out my glasses. 🤓

From the front desk to the frame selection, each employee I had contact with was polite if not downright cheerful. I especially liked the technician who first took me into the exam room. They had a good sense of humor.

Great place to get a prescription filled and they have always been great with my kids. Frames and lens prices are pretty high but theyve never given me any issues taking my prescription elsewhere. I did attempt to buy a pair of eyeglasses here once but I neglected to tell them that I wanted my prescription lenses installed so all I got was a set of frames ha! They refunded the cost of the frames so no big deal.

I recently had my yearly exam with one of the new Drs. She was pleasant, but I really miss my previous one. I requested only vision test but wastalked into the two additional tests. NWE has all my records of the last 2 years with every test taken. I didnt want to repeat but was told I should because my ins. would cover it...My original scoring was a 4 star because of the wait time and extra procedures but I have upgraded to 5 stars because I have been a pt for probably 20 years. After next year I will probably be switching as I will have Medicare which doesnt cover glasses and I wont be able to afford the frames at this office which are a bit pricey for me.

My sons glasses fell in the lake over the weekend and they were able to replace his glasses same day and did such a great job finding him a beautiful pair. These are even better than the pair he lost. And I ended up getting some rad Tom ford glasses for myself

I have been going here for a few years now. I can honestly say I have received a more thorough exam from Dr. Davis than from anyone else I have gone to. He explains what is happening with my vision clearly. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. I do wish they had a better selection of frames for women.

Im giving a 2 star review, They first time i went i told them i just wanted to get my prescription since i need my glasses as soon as possible they dilate my eyes and told me i need to go back to make a different process to my eyes they made me pay even when i didnt get any prescription i got my new appointment 1 month later!!! When i finally go back they charge me again because it was an special appointment ( which i was never told it was different process) When my prescription was finally ready it took them half day to send it to me because the doctor couldnt sign at the time they got it. I definitely wont go back.

I have been visiting Mill Creek for several years now. They were the ones who diagnosed my glaucoma at a very early stage and that has made it easier to manage. They got me on drops right away and my pressures dropped and have been low ever since. They are very good at explaining the whys and seriousness of the situation. I have been very happy with Dr. Davis and his whole team. They seem to have a low turnover rate of employees which usually means they are treated well and are happy.. All good as far as I can see.

I’m giving a 2 star review and that is generous. Consistently I always notice this clinic overbooks visits and leaves patients waiting longer than any other medical practice I have visited. This visit alone was a 55 minute wait which feels incredibly disrespectful of my time. The communication with staff continues to be an issue. Years prior the notated my prescription incorrectly and tried to give me contacts 2 point off my actual prescription. This year, they changed to saying I have a slight astigmatism and didn’t mention it at all. I got my new glasses and was not at all prepared for the change. When I asked about it, she assured me it was correct but didn’t offer to get a doc to explain why it was changed. Then at my visit this week, the tech insisted I had set up the appointment for dry eye even though it was a suggestion by the annual eye doc. I also continued to gear about how I was “fit in” and on the wrong time slot even though I booked weeks in advance and only requested an afternoon appointment any day. The only saving grace is the dry eye doc is incredibly thorough and I left with a solid treatment plan. All other aspects need major improvement!

Saw Dr. Davis for the first time as earlier last year I had seen his associate Doctor. Very nice and professional environment. My appointment got delayed and was communicated very well and politely by Shannon at Front desk. My experience is positive and nothing negative about it. I like to say and reflect on services that I receive. I have my whole family looked after by this family at Mill Creek Family Eye Center. I would recommend them over anyone for friendly and thorough exam requirements. Please give them a try and you’ll not regret.

Saw Dr. Steven Davis last month about experiencing dry eyes.  Apparently this is so common that their office devotes every Wed to this issue alone!  I love the education he provided.  It was thorough and I felt empowered with better understanding of my situation.  He didnt jump to a quick pill fix, he gave me natural options that Im applying and seeing results with.  Absolutely would recommend this office to anyone.  Plus I got some really cute nude frames here that everyone compliments :)

They were able to get me in quickly after my daughter accidentally broke my glasses. They were very easy to work with and cared about my eye health.

It had been a long time since I had been to get my eyes checked out, wife kept telling me that I needed to get an exam, so we went in. I was impressed with how friendly the staff and doctors were, Dr. Davis helped me understand what was going on, what he was doing, and why. My vision was almost perfect, and Dr. Davis said I could actually get glasses but that it would not be 100% useful to me and my lifestyle overall - it was impressive to experience a doctor tell me not to spend money on something I didn’t need, even though it would have been more lucrative for him if I had. He cared about what was best for me, which is very refreshing in this day and age. I will definitely come back. Incredibly helpful and informative. Best optometry experience I’ve had.

This place cares more about money than they do about the patient’s health. They also force services on you just so that they can get more money from you or your insurance company. This place is a bunch of crooks!!!

Ive been coming to Mill Creek Family Eye for several years now and Im consistently impressed by how thorough and informative the doctors there are - as a Type 1 Diabetic, its wonderful to get an explanation of what theyre checking and why, and how eye health is tied to so many other conditions. Aside from having great doctors, their Thursday evening appointment times are so convenient, plus their selection of glasses frames is excellent! I highly recommend them!

This review is not based on their service but on their lack of professionalism and empathy. My insurance website clearly states that they are in-network, but they refused to accept my insurance. I can understand that someone made a mistake, but the lack of empathy and unwillingness to express an apology after causing an inconvenience to the client is upsetting.

Posting HIPAA-protected customer data in review responses (you semi-recently had Lasik out of the country) is completely unacceptable and should be investigated by the appropriate authorities. Would never go to the place that might disclose my private health data on the whim.UPD: in reply to we have no record of having you as a patient - I never claimed otherwise. In fact, Im looking for an eye clinic around Bothell/Mill Creek area because Covid made it inconvenient to use my usual optometrist close to the office.

I walked away and felt cheated/scammed by Davis. Business practice not very ethical. Be aware of extra charges. Definitely my family wont go back.

I have been a patient at Mill Creek Family Eye Center every year since 1997. They are very professional and caring and I feel like part of the Family.

Just came home from my first visit to the Mill Creek Family Eye Center . Lots of parking, beautiful building, and easy access . The office itself is set up perfectly and the staff are efficient, courteous, and professional . I called on Monday and they fit me in two days later . Eden (not sure of the spelling) was great, (everybody was). Doc Davis did an in-depth exam, showed me the film of my cataract(s), an advised me on our treatment plan . He must have spent at least a half hour with me, probably more . What a nice man and a credit to his profession . They are taking care of the referral process for surgery, the billing, and the follow up . I could not be happier with the experience . Thank ALL of you at the Center for making my day !

I have been going to him for years now and his staff is always friendly and professional. I have some unique eye issues, especially as I get older. Dr. Davis really knows his stuff and is very dedicated to finding the best vision solution that works for you. He is one of the Best of the Best. Can’t recommend him enough and am so grateful to the friend who recommended Dr. Davis to me almost 15 years ago.

I moved to the area and was needing to get my eye exam so I can get new glasses and contacts. I came across this place because it is close to home, but I know I will keep coming here even if I end up living farther away.The reason you ask? Dr. Voegeli. She is the reason to come here. She is so friendly and easy to talk to, she has a kind approach and is funny! She cracked a joke and it made the appointment that much more enjoyable.

Dr. Davis is the BOMB. He is kind, extremely knowledgable and a straight shooter. The office space is beautiful and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Voegeli and she was fantastic. She was really easy to talk with and she is very friendly. I had many questions about my family history of eye problems and she took the time to answer every single one. I would recommended her without a doubt. She also helped me find contact lenses that I could wear without having comfort issues at the end of the day. GO SEE HER!

I literally go to the eye doctor every 10 years and I was still treated like I was a client who returns every year. Everyone was nice. I need reading glasses now and they were really great about helping choose a frame. I also had no issues getting my prescription so I could order more glasses on line if i want to. Very nice, very helpful, and at no point did i feel like I was lost or confused. The doctor was nice too.

I recently moved to the Mill Creek area and was referred to Dr. Davis by a friend. Im so glad I was!I have worn contact lenses since the 1960s, and have been in my share of doctors offices. I can tell you that this is one of the best! Everyone in the office has been efficient and personable. Dr. Davis, in particular, has been extremely professional, knowledgeable,and very thorough. He has painstakingly adjusted my multifocal contacts to be sure that I have the best possible fit and eyesight. Twice I have been the last patient of the day and had both Dr. Davis and another employee stayed late to be sure that they got everything just right. I have never felt rushed or unimportant in this office. I highly recommend this eye center!

I had a great experience! Booking an appointment time that worked well for me was quick and easy. The wait time in the waiting room was less than I had anticipated. Yes Im taking to you Caitlin who replied my email telling me their companys policy is unable to share PD measurements, even after paying for an eye exam and making an optical order from the center. These are not your proprietary data, these are your patients measurements which you have captured, and due to policy wont share to the parents.Good thing your companys policies permits me and my family to visit another eye establishment. My family went here and had a great experience our first year . However I had a completely different experience this year. I needed to schedule an appointment this year for our family of 4 (instead of 3) and was told we had to schedule 2 separate appointments on different days. Even though they had availability and I have a good attendance history with them, their policy only allows them to schedule 3 family members max. Working full time and with kids in school makes it very difficult for us to schedule appointments. Its unfortunate that they will lose a customer who purchases contacts/glasses for 4 yearly over a policy with no flexibility.

Doctor Davis is a very caring doctor in the Mill Creek Area. My wife and I trust him for our vision care very much. Hes been our doctor for the past 14 years and hopefully many more years to come. Two thumbs up !!!

Had my first eye exam done here after years of going to Lens crafters. All around it was a wonderful experience, friendly staff who all were very knowledgeable on any question I had. Also Dr. Davis was very helpful when it came to educating me about my eye health and what I was looking at from the pictures taken. 10/10 great experience

This was my daughters first ever eye appt and she was a little nervous! But the entire staff was completely amazing! The front desk was friendly and super helpful! The Dr Lo was so amazing explaining everything to her and educating both of us on what everything meant. Then I we looked at frames and the gal that helped me was so knowledgeable and helped us pick a few frames to fit her face! It was a throughly amazing experience! Start to finish! Keep doing what you are doing!

Its really best just to go somewhere else. I ordered a pair of glasses which didnt come in when promised. Finally the glasses arrived and were adjusted on the spot. Within a few days they were sliding down my nose. I thought this would be a simple adjustment. I live in Edmonds and had to drive to Mill Creek an addition 3 times to get these glasses adjusted. During one of the visits one of the opticians bent my straight arm glasses to have hooks around my ears..totally ridiculous.At that point I took them to 3 other places for adjustment due the failure of this place to secure the glasses on my face. All of them were amazed that a place of business for eye care would modify the arms of my glasses like that. Essentially ruining them.I tried to get a replacement pair but no go. The office manager was a pretty good negotiator in this case. She wanted $5O dollars as re frame fee because they screwed up the first ones. I am not sure how even ended up at this place but thats it for me. Seems like others have had better luck. You just better hope your glasses fit right. There are plenty of other places so I will give them a try.
