Very nice gentleman made me a soy latte this morning and a regular mocha for my husband. He took the time to write it out on my cup and that really eases me because I have a dairy allergy and I love to have the verification. I also tried a cinnamon roll and it was very yummy and soft after reheating in the microwave. So good, and thank you for being kind.
Great friendly service. Delicious offerings. My favorite cookie. They also take online orders to deliver to your home or a gift for a loved one. Best cookies I have ever had...
Good pastry but lately every time I go for something specific they have run out. Just this week I’ve been twice looking for honey wheat bread and they don’t have and I couldn’t get an exact answer on when they will have more.
Overcharged, missing items, incorrect items. Young lady not apologetic at all. Asked for 2 ham, cheese and egg croissant. Got 1 ham and cheese, but charged for two. Asked for chocolate croissants, and they said 15mins. Wanted to pay for croissants then, but they said we would have to stand in line and pay again separately later. Asked for simple coffee with cream and sugar but they said had to get an Americano?! Not comprehending how a bakery can not have just plain coffee. They then argued that they gave us the wrong ham and cheese because even though we said ham, egg and cheese, that was only on the breakfast menu!?! It was 8:40a?!?! A total dearth of customer service.
I love good espresso and I love dessert. Its difficult to find a place that has good options for both. When I saw it was a bakery, I was concerned that the espresso would be bad. I was mistaken. My eclair was amazing and so was my breve latte. My husband got a key lime tart and it was the best hes ever had. We will be back!!
Very good ice cream and kind service. I like how many options they have. They are open with masks and seem to be doing a good job of keeping customers safe.
Wow were to start...i hoped I would have atleast a decent croissant, but I guess that was to much to ask for. I feel real bad for the person that makes these as they are either told to make their croissants the wrong way or they have no idea what they are doing. They were hard, it was like a shell, burnt, and dense. We also had their pithivier which was equally as bad, it was dry, almost no filling and very thick...it was just plain awful. Both were inedible. I hate to leave bad reviews but as a pastry chef myself...i feel its my duty to call out places this bad. No one should waste their money on this stuff.
Came here after I dropped my kids off at school for a pastry and a coffee. Was super cute inside with french music playing. I ordered the key lime tart and it was so good! Lunch looks amazing also so I am for sure coming back. Prices are also very decent! Not a big deal but the only negative would be that alot of the chairs had rips and needed to be replaced.
Fantastic French style pastries! Their plain croissants are perfectly crisp on the outside with billowing clouds of fluffy, flaky, buttery dough on the inside. Their pain au chocolat are the same with a decadent chocolatey edge that melts in your mouth and is not overly sweet. We also enjoy the various fresh baked loaves offered (changes daily). The pastries are not to be missed either! A bite of the cherry clafoutis will transport you right to a sunny cafe terrace in Paris, atmospheric accordion music and all. Totally not kidding here. For a little slice of authentic French bakery offerings, head on over to this quaint and delightful little boulangerie!
Great pastries. Clean shop. What more could you ask for?
Reminds me of bakeries in Paris! Delish!!
Really really good pastries and sandwiches and really awesome staff working there! I think I found my new favorite place to get lunch!
Their pastries are expensive but worth every penny. Their almond twice baked croissant is heavenly. Their drink specials are fresh and fun. The staff is extremely friendly and the shop is a fun place to sit and look at the art in (when we are able to sit indoors). They are a staple coffee shop for our family.
Lovely little shop, very reasonable prices, great baked goods!
Sweet little place with a nice ambiance.Espresso, soups, salads, sandwiches, cookies, pastries and desserts. The tiramisu and creme brulee are excellent. Looking forward to trying some of the other bakery items.I like the cookies....just wish they werent so hard. I think its because I usually am buying them at the end of the day and they have been sitting out all day. They are not wrapped or in a case. If I microwave it for a tiny bit, they soften up.
I have been coming here since it opened and have always loved the food. I had not stop by for about six months and learned it was under new ownership when I dropped in recently. Pastry style has changed with a new baker, but our food was tasty. Its always disappointing to see your favorite croissant has changed. Nothing can beat the original chocolate croissant they use to serve. Its definitely still worth the trip if you have never stopped in before.
One of the best Almond Croissants I have ever had. Delicious!
Authentic French pastry and great coffee.
This place has a really good atmosphere. Its cozy, inviting, and sticks to a French theme. Its the kind of place you could come to have a decorated latte with a friend, colleague, or relative. Its not the kind of place I would bring children or the kind of place Id bring a family. The service is great. The barista made us feel welcome, and her I would rate 5 stars. However, the food was horrible. It tasted like prepackaged gas station food warmed up via microwave or toaster oven. We ordered a croissant sandwich, a maple bacon sandwich, a slice of cake, an iced coffee, and a hot coffee drink. The cake was 3 layers with berries and cream. It was dry and stale and tasted overall just like a premade cake on a discounted rack at a grocery store bakery. The maple bacon sandwich tasted like McDonalds eggs slapped in between 2 cinnamon flavored Eggos. The texture was slimy and the bread was soggy on the inside, however the outside of the bread was so hard it was difficult to bite into comfortably. The croissant was burnt, however after that top layer was peeled away it was actually almost good. A 3 star breakfast sandwich if not for the Kraft single they used for the cheese that gave us a delightful macaroni flavor. The iced coffee we ordered, at first I thought, tasted like dark chocolate milk, and then I realized it was just a bitter Expresso taste that lingered after the mocha that made it seem so. The white chocolate mocha I ordered genuinely had no flavor. It was similar to warm milk with a few spoonfuls of sugar. We paid roughly 35$ for everything we ordered.Overall: 2.4 stars on a scale of 5 being the bestPrices: 3Food: 0Service: 5Atmosphere: 4Recommendation: Try it for yourself if you have money to waste. Just stick to the decorated lattes and macarons, though.
Excellent french bakery! The chef is amazing!
Love their baked goods! Great bread and pastries.
Good coffee. Croissants are the best, you can not find better. The music is peaceful, reminds you of being in France. A great selection of pasties and breakfast type baked items.
We’ve been coming to Mon Amie since it opened, but since the new owner has come on board the place just isn’t the same. The menu has change and the place doesn’t feel as comfortable as before. The new owner doesn’t seem particularly friendly either. I’m sure I’ll be back now and then but not anywhere near as often.
First time visiting this wonderful bakery and cafe. The service and bake goods where excellent. We had the savry breakfast sandwich which was very good and coffee. We will be back for sure.
Just found this place and tried it on a Sat. morning. We arrived late around 9:00 or so and the place ended up being packed! It is very small and hard to get around but what we had, the breakfast croissant, was good. The sign in the window says they brew Pegasus coffee which is always good but this was not as the coffee of the day - or just the brewed coffee not from the espresso machine - was lacking in flavor. Brew your coffee with more coffee please! We took home a little box of day old pastries which included a delicious pumpkin bread (which was thick cut not whisper thing like so many of them) and a decent raisin cinnamon roll thing. Had ham and gruyere croissant-thing for breakfast this a.m.Yumbo! We will be back but we do wish this place were bigger and easier to get around in.
Best tarts. Very kind staff. All made in house and not a chain bakery/cafe. Ordered 10 ecalirs for my brothers birthday and they had them ready when I arrived. Got a London fog and mixed berry tart and it was delightful. Definitely a go to place if you are in the area.
Was always a 5 star rating. But with the new baker/owner, the pastries no longer have the true European flavor and the quality has gone down significantly. Unfortunately will be searching for a new bakery after years of coming to Mon-Amie. So disappointed that they have not kept any of the standard menu items so many people have loved. Wish the new baker/owner lots of luck, but after two tries in three days of the new products, they are simply are not what the previous owner/baker produced. If anyone knows how to reach the previous owner if if they opened a new place, please post the details.
Lovely French bakery with some legit almond (or chocolate) croissants! They are a little pricey but perfect for special occasions - très délicieux!
Questionable and unreliable safety practices in the current situation. If you had asked me for a bakery recommendation before the pandemic, I would have brought you here myself. They have wonderful bread and treats. I was in last week because I want to support local businesses. Last will, the staff person was friendly and careful. He wore a mask and gloves, although he did not change gloves after handling credit cards or other non-food items.Today I stopped by and not one staff member was wearing a mask. Instead, they were talking over top of everyone’s food items, still not changing gloves like basic food safety guidelines say they should and, in general, acting like those of us trying to protect people’s health might be crazy. This disappoints me greatly as I haven’t found another bakery that I like as well. But I’m not in the mood for corona or more common food-Bourne illnesses that could all be prevented with basic food safety.
This place has some really tasty drinks and food, their display is beautiful and full of good-looking treats. This rating has more to do with the service and how many times they messed up my husbands order. He ordered a white chocolate mocha and then got given a chocolate mocha. The staff replaced it with a white chocolate mocha but gave him the incorrect size (they made a smaller one)...the solution they came up with was just to add more milk...the result quite weak and not a very tasty white chocolate mocha. He also ordered his breakfast sandwich 45 minutes ago...they forgot it and still have not made it for him. When he asked about it, they did not admit their mistake but say that it was on its way. Dont come here for any sandwiches or food if you dont have at least 30 minutes to wait. We werent there at a busy time, but it got busier as the minutes went by and now we have about 10 people waiting for their food and drinks. My food came out nice, I only had to wait 10 minutes. I still didnt get hot water. I think its a lost cause, at this point.
The lunch sandwiches are amazing and the coffee is just as good! Great staff and customer service as well!
Its a cute little bakery/cafe, lots of variety, lots of amazing combination of ingredients. Everything looks fresh and delicious! Its also very fairly priced for the amount and quality. I went in before work for a pastry, while my co-workers went in for some coffee and quiche. It seems that it took a while to get our orders out, if you want to get a pastry heated it takes a good 5-10 minutes for them to heat it up, which isnt great if youre looking for something to run in and grab. I witnessed multiple customers come in to wait in line, but left because it was taking too long. Otherwise, pretty good.
Amazing friendly customer service . the person who works at the front was super nice to me and my kids. We got two pastries . the chocolate one was good the other strawberry one was hard and very cold.
Love this cozy cafe & bakery. Variety of fresh sandwiches made to order. Several quiches available daily. Love their variety of desserts including yummy cheesecakes.
We ordered a couple of coffees, and they were overtly sweet. However, the sandwiches were very well made and delicious. The girl working the counter had an attitude when we politely mentioned that the wrong bread was used for making one of the sandwiches; she also appeared to have an attitude towards other customers there. I guess French attitude must come with a French bakery.
Quaint bakery with a french touch and ambiance. Tasty pastries. We love the creme brulee. Next time well try their coffee. This is a must stop whenever you visit Mill Creek town area.
Awesome! Super fresh Bakery, love the quality of their strawberry croissants! Coffee is great too. Huge portions for a very good price! You can’t beat that!👍👍👍👍👍Best little Bakery in Lynnwood and around! And super nice staff! What else do you need to start a good day?Ohhh yes... a girlfriend that truly loves you. But heck... that’s not their job 🤪!
I love how their pastry are so unique and taste wonderful. A good location as well. It is very accessible to travellers.
Gorgeous, freshly made French pastries, gourmet coffee, fantastic and friendly! This is a local gem! If you’re not in the mood for donuts, come here and get your croissant on!! Exceptionally kind service!
The strawberry pastry is the most amazing pastry I have ever tasted!!! The soups & salads are also great. Many times the soup of the day sign has not been changed, and we have had some bad luck with cashiers (not always the best service). Very quaint shop with French music playing!
Always delicious and perfect, I have to get a savory and a sweet item! Their coffee is great too! Definitely one of the best French bakeries I have found in an out of Seattle!
My wife and I visited Paris for our 30th anniversary, so we know what a real Parisian bakery is like. Mon Amie is every bit as good as any of the wonderful places we visited there. Everything from their croissants to their quiches, and even their home-made soups are superb! We go there at least once a week...
Loved it! Super nice friendly gracious service. Delicious pastries. Fantastic coffee!!!!!
Good morning, I order a cake from you and I picked it up yesterday and I am very disappointed about what I got as you see in the picture the bottom was burn and the cream has no sugar at all so it tasted really bad when i ordered it I eas very specific about the cream in top i wanted marzipan so anyway I was not happy about it .
I bought a couple baguettes here on a Saturday. They were really dry, like they were day old. Maybe they were better when fresh, but I want impressed with what I got. Their pastries looked good and thats what most people were buying, so maybe they dont really do savory breads...?
I tried this place 3 times-hoping I just came on a bad day-but- PLEASE STOP OVER COOKING YOUR TARTS AND COOKIES ! Everything thing there looks soooo good, but somehow the baker doesnt take the desserts out of the oven soon enough, and so every item I have purchased was hard and over done. I was disappointed every time. Please train your chef-I would love to have a great bakery in my neighborhood-so please-take your baked items out of the oven sooner !
So....on a whim we walked in and in the display we saw tasty treats and after a wonderful conversation with the nice guy behind the counter my wife and I settled on a blueberry tart for me and a pear tart for her .....then we grabbed a slice of strawberry cheesecake for our daughter....took everything home and put it in fridge, the next day while at work I get a text from my daughter saying.... OMG that effing cheesecake was so good....when the wife and I got home we had some of our treats and they ARE SO EFFING GOOD.....so fresh and delicious. ...I new they would be good when I heard the baker in the kitchen singing while she work......SO GONNA GET FAT FROM THESE GUYS....
Its a small Bakery Cafe with cute Paris inspired decor and delicious coffee as well as baked goods. Very fresh food. Great brew. Cute and cozy atmosphere and hard working employees. What else can you ask for? Its located on a strip-mall cluster, by the QFC and near Papa Murphys.
I love this bakery! The pastries are so buttery and flakey. We got 4 different pastries, a mocha and cookies. Coffee was really good. We loved everything!
Our favorite local bakery and coffee shop. The wait can sometimes be long for dining in and space is limited during the lunch hour, but it is well worth the wait. Great coffee, amazing pastries, and yummy lunch options. Much more affordable than another popular coffee chain that I like, all for better quality food.
Great spot for tasty baked goods and fair priced espresso drinks. If only they had more space for more tables! I would bring work groups over way more often
This is my favorite bakery in the Mill Creek area by far. This place has good coffee and fantastic croissants and pastries. The raspberry tart is my favorite; great shell, pastry cream filling covered in raspberries. The almond croissant is another family favorite.
Awesome french macaroons and pastries... salads and sandwiches are good too. They do a great job at coffee when they arent slammed (hence, the four stars) . I recommend the lavender latte and macadamia nut mocha.
EDIT: unfortunately many of my favorite things from this restaurant are no longer available since it is under new ownership. This place completely exceeded my already lofty expectations. I saw a pictures of the food and I thought to myself, theres no way its going to look like that, but it did and it tasted just as amazing. We ordered the pesto parmesan croissant and the bacon bechamel brioche to split and I could feel the oxytocin releasing into my body. I was really hungry and didnt expect that to fill me up so we had also ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. We both made that *holy cow* face. My kids had the peanut butter cookie and black forest cake. Both were delicious. I meant to take pictures but the second the food showed up I was so excited that I just dug in. It really does look exactly like the food you see it in the photos here. Go try it, you will love it.
So hard to find a local bakery! Mon Amie is a hybrid cafe-bakery, with s focus on more traditional French pastries. And, boy are the delicious. The eclair and berry croissant are my go to favorites. They also make a lovely latte, iced or hot. It can get crowded, so sometimes you might be out of luck finding a seat.
One of the best pastry shop in the area. Croissants are delicious, big and French style. Also the cappuccino they serve is very good served in ceramic cup which is the way it should be drunk (Italian style). Sorry no paper cups!!!
Cool little shop. had the strawberry white chocolate tart. It was good. coffee was good too.
A welcoming, cozy french aesthetic an intuitive staff and reasonable prices make it my favorite bakery in all of Washington. I also love the option for dark chocolate in there mochas. Whether it be for a light lunch or a tasty treat I cannot recommend Mon Amie enough.
This is probably one of my favorites bakery in town but not any more. Two week ago, we went in to get my daughter birthday cake order in advance and later on total 4 phone calls that I have to make while making sure that my order is good to go until they give me a call that talking about my cake order is not make it and recommend that I should choose a different kind of cake due to my decorating in the cake.( unicorn and rainbow theme) They charge me a good amount 15 dollar plus 5 dollar for fresh strawberry and 35 dollar for vanilla butter cake. So when I went in to pick up my cake it is not the picture that my daughter cake gonna be to plain and symbol for what I paid for. So I give a call to talk to the owner but it seems to be that they doesnt care how is the service and the good quality of their cake for as a business. They keep giving out the excuses and tell me that they will leave the owner a message so she will review about this situation then they let me know. By the way, they didnt make sure to ask me to email them some cake picture to show them so idea what we want.Is it worth the 15 dollars for decoration? No they are over charge and we agreed to pay but for what we got is not what we paid for.........it is my 4 years here to have my daughter birthday cake order and it is last time for us to support this kind of business.
Best pastries ever. Nice atmoshere. Friendly staff. I will be coming back.
This is my favorite bakery. I love the environment and all their pastries. My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant. My husband and I go here every time we are in Mill Creek.
Their ham and cheese croissants are to die for. So flaky. I would happily gain 10 lbs just from eating these. Excellent hot drinks as well!
Great French bakery, especially the croissants and pastries. It would be very difficult to find better ANYWHERE. Enjoy!
The bakeries are good. But nothing is labeled for price or what the item is called. And the staff there are such snobs. Twice now, they dont even smile, and give you a wierd stare when you are ordering. Either they dont understand you, or they are just simply miserably rude. I wont go there again.
This French bakery has excellent pastry creme and tarts. Their croissants are good, as well as their other bread items. But its their pastry creme offerings that really shine.
They are my exclusive source for espresso beans for my home coffee maker. They also make the best white chocolate mocha. My wife is a huge fan of their fruit tart. Everything there tastes amazing.
Delicious large flaky pastry. Loved finding this little gem.
A really nice small cafe/bakery. The orange chocolate cheesecake is incredible!! The coffee is very good!
I live almost 30 minutes away, and I will make a special trip just to visit this bakery. All the pastries here are good but I especially like the croissants and the macarons. The Earl Grey macaron in particular is fantastic.
Im so disappointed not only by the service, but the quality of food. 2 sandwiches took 15 minutes and an iced coffee that tastes like watered down drip (granted thats what it was, but Im not a barista I dont know how to make an iced coffee but this isnt what I was used to)If I to come back here it will strictly be for the pastries.Shocked at the price of the sandwiches (which you would get more out of a Subway sandwich for half the price) give me 2 minutes and a panini press Ill show you what a sandwich should taste like from a well recommended bakery such as this.
People are nice. Food is amazing. Local place. Great coffee and tea options. Its a French bakery what not to love!
Great Espresso and freshly made pastries and desserts
Quaint French cafe with good coffee and amazing croissants!
The food was amazing but they Remodel the store
Never disappointed! Wonderful coffee and pastries. Excellent lunch options. I especially like the quiche.
Went there for a nice coffee and breakfast sandwich. We ordered an americano coffee. It was unusually weak very weak and asked them about it. We were told we had to pay another dollar to have another shot of the espresso in it. Weve ordered americanas many places and many times and its always been fine. As I said this was extremely weak. It was quite disappointing number 1, that it tasted so weak and number 2, that the customer service required us to pay another dollar to make it taste good. It will give us reason to think twice before returning.
Didnt give 5 stars because its small, but I love this place. Food is excellent and service is great
Food is great. Service is a little slow. Only one person working front counter with 4 people waiting.
Adorable French bakery. Their pastries are incredible and the coffee is so good. Will be back!
I love this place my wife and I come on almost all of our days off. Great in house made pastries and foods and good coffee in a nice cozy setting
Just try the blue berry croissant. Heaven. Great service and a local company. We are lucky they are in MillCreek Wa.
The most perfect, cozy shop for studying. Their coffee is the best around and they have fast, limitless internet for long days of researching. The baristas are always welcoming and friendly and their lunch is delicious. Everything is made in house, so you can expect fresh, flavorful foods. Cant say enough good things about this place!
Delicious pastries and friendly service! We especially loved the macaroons. There was a large variety and they were delicious!
Excellent pastries, somewhat average cappuccino, a bit overpriced. They could use some better outdoor seating and inside it was too cold on a sunny, summer morning.
Great cinnamon rolls! Fresh and delicious 😋
Been here 4 times now and all desserts except the almond croissant are near tasteless. There are better macaroons everywhere.
Super friendly, and wonderful to converse with
Their cheese cakes are sooooo delicious! Its a cute place with a variety of savory bites and drinks!
