Switched to Verizon today. The staff at the Milford Verizon was top notch, friendly and thorough. Low pressure and they made sure my phone was perfect before I walked out the door. While I was there I was impressed how they treated other customers, particularly senior citizens who were technically challenged. They treated all customers with the same courtesy whether there was going to be a sale or helping with an email account password.

It was the 4th of July and I was the annoying customer waiting at the door for the store to open. It was my only day off and I needed to get my new phone set up. Raquel was totally amazing! Great customer service! Great attitude! She made the experience painless! Give that girl a raise Verizon! Thank you Raquel!

Only 3 people working and all customers in the store have been standing around (no chairs available for customers) for over and hour and counting. Workers are chatting with customers like they’re at brunch instead of efficiently getting through the customers’ needs. Just one of many reasons why I am leaving Verizon. Awful customer experience.

Recently decided I’d give Verizon a shot and switch from T-Mobile. Employees seem nice enough but seems there isnt a lot of uniformity across the board from store to store. I was told my iwatch wont be able to have data because its a series 4 and they dont go from carrier to carrier. The rep on the phone said that shouldnt be an issue so with that we still dont have an answer. My real issue is that we were told the store closed at 8 so we rushed from work the day after we received our phones in the mail and got to the store at 6:42pm only to see the window and door guards down looking like they were ready to close. We couldn’t get inside. And then we called 2 other locations to see if we could finish our activation process. One told us that we have to go to the store we started with or pay $50 per line. Another said that its not possible at all except for the store we started with. The rep over the phone said our account was active and all we have to do is back up our current phones and then put those back ups on the new phones. All of this is an inconvenience and a huge mess that could have been avoided if the store either didnt close up shop early or we were given accurate closing time information. We have 14 days to cancel and I’m definitely considering it because this is not a good way to start.

Came here twice in 2 weeks so they can unlock my phone and each time they had ME call tech support while they hid in the back. Tech Support told me that they can unlock it from the store, employee told me only tech support can do so. Giving me the run around for 3 weeks! 3 appeals sent in and each one denied within a day. Finally got a new phone from AT&T, couldnt be happier. Dont recommend Verizon to anyone anymore.

Raquel (hoping I spelled your name correctly) the store manager took care of me she was awesome!I needed help w my tablet to reset password which took a long time & put me on face book.I will be revisiting for her to program more things on my tablet that has sat in a drawfor over a year and that I am now using!FYI. Most, not all, sales persons want to help you w such things. I have had a Verizon devices for many years, paid my bill and expected more when I walked in a year ago w my tablet. They told me to call customer service. FYI I am an older person & need a tech to help me.I was fortunate that Racquel was there to save the day.Thank you.

(10/28/20) - It was my first time in this store. I went in to change my Iphone 8 to a Iphone 12 Pro and also upgrade my plan. The woman who greeted me at the door and took my information was very pleasant. Eddy helped me with everything and he was the absolute best!! He was so helpful and really paid attention to all my concerns and questions. I walked out with a new phone, new plan and was 110% satisfied!

Just bought a new phone there and went back to get a case and screen protector. The employees couldnt have been nicer or more polite and helpful. Even though they are under pressure with all the restrictions, they were as fast as possible and came out to the car to help me. Very happy wth the service.

Zero stars. The girl who sold me my phone was awful and not at all helpful. She REFUSED to help me transfer data from my old phone to my new one, even though it was turning off randomly, and I was at risk of losing all of my information. I stayed at the store to do the data transfer in case I had questions. When I did, she ignored me. It wasnt until I called customer service and had them on speaker phone that another employee came over to help me. It didnt take a lot of effort, but at least he was willing to help. Thank you Ralph. The only valuable employee in that store yesterday.

Worst customer service! went in to change from AT & T to Verizon while keeping phone number; they did the switch and told me to wait 8 hrs before activation of my Verizon...waited more than 8 hours and service did not come back. Went back to them and they were not helpful at all telling me there is a defect in my iPhone and I should go back to Apple Store to have it fixed as they cannot do anything; I told them it was working perfectly fine before my switch so maybe I will switch back to AT & T, they said youll loose your money with Verizon which makes absolutely no sense as the service they are providing is NOT even working . Went back to Apple Store and they said the phone is totally fine and it is Verizon signal problem.

3.5 hours later....... to get two new phones for my parents. The service is HORRIFIC to say the least. Always a sales pitch too for stuff you don’t need. Just disappointing. Updated 12/21/2018Came from sprint the service is no comparison between the two Im a firm believer in u pay what u get.I had same phone between the 2 carriers and I no longer have annoying pop ups w Verizon, calls are crystal clear and my phone does not get hot like it used to with sprintThe manager really helped me getting my needs with a screen saver on my new note 9 and she took her time and got it perfectNice seating in store and full customer support unlike other carriers ..call Verizon speak to someone within minutes not days like sprintVery happy Im with Verizon and there reliable service makes me feel so much better being a stage 4 cancer patient and needing reliable service to communicate w my hospital and doctors

Customer service at this store is HORRIBLE. It was busy since its a Saturday but not one person said a word to myself or two other customers. I guess your name has to be put on a wait list so they took the person who just walked in the door and left the rest of standing there. Then the food was delivered and everyone went into the back but one person. I get you have to eat but there is no need for everyone to go in the back at the same time. I need a simple problem fixed and and now really reconsidering Verizon. If you want good customer service do NOT go here, its like your bothering the staff.

Was handed off to another employee who was thankfully helpful and had no problem answering my questions and turning on/set up my new phone for my daughter even though he was pushing for me to add a line I didn’t need.1st employee didn’t even want to take the phone out the box and activate it. I wasn’t buying accessories or adding a line so no money for him to make so he quickly had his co worker finish the job.Ended up buying the case and glass online for $22 total when Verizon wanted to charge me $70. Never have liked these stores and this continues to give me reason not to.

Definitely check your bill after doing a device upgrade. He added a $17/month device protection charge without my permission or even asking me. Theres literally hundreds of threads online about this as it appears to be a common practice with the VZW floor reps.

My wife had issues with her phone. We went to the Milford Verizon store. Mike and Trifon spent 45 minutes with us. Calling the Service Center and trouble shooting. They finally corrected the problem. They were happy to answer and address our questions regarding data usage. They noticed the age of my phone and suggested I drop the insurance saving $15 a month. Excellent service. These guys went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend these guys.

Do NOT believe that when you sign up for unlimited service you are getting a deal. Past some limit - that is low 10Gig? maybe 20 gig (like a role of pictures from my camera) they shut you down to like dial up speed. It is ABSOLUTELY FALSE AND LYING ADVERTISING. FTC NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE AND HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH BOTH THE BBB AS WELL AS FTC

I know this sugar daddy guy was in the Milford Verizon store. I was there with my family to get new phones. Sugar daddy was with his son. He was acting very unprofessional towards management and was using abusive language while customer present in the store. Customers were not liking his behavior. Management requested him to leave the store. I always go to this store. management and sales reps are really nice, helpful and knowledgeable. This is the only store I visit.

This store was truly an awful experience! I will never go back there...the staff is insensitive to your technical needs....WE ARE NOT ALL BORN HI-TECH! Thats why Staff positions are called JOBS! Now, work for a living instead of making customers feel inadequate...I sat there for almost 2 & 1/2 hrs on a phone...no store reps bother to really help you. I had to ask for a manager & even he proved to be just like the rest. The problem was never solved & when I was leaving the store all the manger could say is I &WISH YOU THE BEST??????

Absolutely the worst customer experience ever. Received 10XR birthday gift. Went to Milford location asked them to change out SIM card, they said we don’t do that. Tried to return old I Pad that’s not in use anymore but still being charged for every month on my VERIZON BILL, said they dont that!! What exactly does Verizon do each month than take my money? I HATE this store. Id rather go to the DMV. No help from the sales associate, the guy couldnt be bothered with helping me with upgrading my wifes phone. Which was paid off, but required me to pay off my balance of my phone. Which makes absolutely no sense. Just a money grabbing ploy. Also I guess they dont help you set up the phone in store, which I thought was a terrible idea, but thinking on it I couldnt possibly spend another second in that place. Well now since I have no idea how to insert an SD card into this new phone the sim card fell out! Now the phone is useless!! And now I have to go back...

The manager and one other person I dealt with only care about sales. Certainty not about the customer. I went there with a problem with my phone. The managers immediate response was “so you want a new phone?” I said no I’d like to know what wrong with mine. Without saying anything else she walked away from me. Come to find out Verizon and Apple are well aware of this common problem and they are happy to replace my phone free of charge. The two people I dealt with proceeded to push a new phone with all the bells and whistles without ever telling me there was a free solution and or trying to trouble shoot my phone. Very bad customer service and obvious concern about personal commission.

There were some great deals I could not turn down on black Friday so I had to go.I am currently on crutches so they were very quick in helping me and found seating for me as well because the process takes over a half hour. After finding the phone the steps were very easy in setting it up and finishing the purchase. But just beware you look everything over. They will add a automatic $11 monthly insurance policy to your bill. Add the receipt they give you doesnt say it as well. Did not learn about it until after I looked it up on line.Straightened everything out now though

Just all around garbage employees. Lost my phone employee was Unwilling to work with a 3 year customer who always pays on time. Unable to credit a new phone to my acct or even work with me for a lower buyout on my lost phone so I can upgrade to a new one. I went to the one in Stratford on the Barnum Avenue cutoff shopping plaza and the salesman was more than ready to help me out got me a note 8 and 150 dollars off my buyout and Im wondering why this fool at the former store wouldnt even attempt to help me leave the store with a phone.

I had a horrible experience with Verizon on Nosyon sport Rd. CT. After walking into an overcrowded store yesterday and speaking with a representative about the Note 9 promotion a $400 off the phone, I was told I could come back today being Saturday and receive the same rate. Unfortunately when I got to the store today, I was told that I could not get $400 off as told but that I would only get $200 off. The rep. admitted that he told me such information yesterday but the manager would not accommodate me. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years and the rates continue to go up while customer satisfaction continues to be insatisfactory. I am shopping for a new carrier.

It took me actually walking up to one of them and more or less begging to be helped, this is when there were at least two of them just standing around not helping anyone. Worst customer service ever. We bought an iphone, when we got home we opened the box to set it up but they gave us the wrong color. We went to the store to exchange it for the right one and they said Jay the worker who sold us the phone does not remember so they have to charge us 50$ to exchange the phone even tho we came back less than 24 hours !!! Unfortunately we couldn’t do anything else and had to pay.. just be aware of this and careful after chooising a phone. Also expect attitude fron the manager. If you can go to another store, do it do not think twice!

The best Verizon store in the area!!! Great customer service and very proffessional employees!!!! It was quick efficient service by Glenn and another employee getting me onto a hotspot plan!!!!They explained everything and answered all of my concerns and questions!!!! I had been going to the Fairfield store for about 20 years and was in this area and decided to try it. Glad I did. The store is very well designed and laid out well with a selection that has everything you would need. Upon entering the grand Verizon store I got the immediate impression that it was going to be a really proffessional and top notch experience.

I usually do all my shopping online and try to avoid interaction with people. Unfortunately due to the work that had to be done to a phone, I was required to go to a store in person. Ive never been to a Verizon phone store in person, never had any reason to. So I walk in and I figure in order to get help you have to wait in line. I took a seat instead. I was seated for about 20 minutes. No one came up to me and asked if I needed help. It was like I didnt exist. No acknowledgement whatsoever. I finally just left as some of the employees there had customers and the other employees had walked off wherever. I came home and was informed by a family member that youre suppose to sign in. WHERE? Theres no sign, theres no one to help, theres nothing. How is a first time person suppose to know. More importantly, when did a store require you to sign in? I guess things wouldve been easier if there was someone there waiting to assist customers. Ill gladly take this knowledge that I learned from a family member instead of a store employee and go to another location. Stay away from 116 Boston Post Rd Orange, CT location. Theres a lack of customer service.

I knew exactly what I wanted (specific phone upgrade), waited 25 minutes on a queue to speak with a sales person, then I told the salesperson I wanted to upgrade to a specific phone with my two year contract new every two, paying up front for the phone, and did not want to change my plan at all. She proceeds to spend 10 minutes trying to get me to change my plan, claiming it will soon start to cost more (unsubstantiated lie), then 10 minutes trying to get me to do monthly payments for my phone. I tell her repeatedly that I dont want to change my plan or pay monthly for my phone. Finally when I insist on buying the phone in the exact way I told her I wanted at the beginning of our conversation, she admits that they cant do phone upgrades with the two year contract in-store, I have to do it online or on the phone. She then claims that that has been the case for a few months, though another employee tells me that Verizon corporate always locks the stores out of doing in-store two-year-contract upgrades at any iphone launch. Waste of 40 minutes of my time, and worst was that the salesperson knew she was wasting my time for half of that, while I desperately jiggled my infant daughter in the stroller trying to keep her calm during our long and completely fruitless trip to the Verizon store. Avoid this store like the plague.

I have been with VW since 2002 and always considered it to be the best wireless network which combines quality, costumer service, etc. The costumer service through the years has been a very positive experience. I always came to this particular store for technical issues and always was getting a thoughtful and courteous associate who would take time and solve an issue. NOT ANYMORE.My phone couldnt connect to data, lost all the photos and videos and was getting an annoying message popping up every second. I went there on Wednesday, August 29th, at 10 am to get help. Immediately I noticed a different vibe in the room and the associates who simply did not care. I explained, the associate spent couple minutes trying to press some keys, etc., doing it quite rough which had surprised me, and said that I needed a new phone since there is nothing can be done with this one.OK, I thought, if I am told in the official VW wireless store there was nothing to be done to fix the phone, so it be! Next day I got a new phone at BestBuy and activated it at the store. By the way, the associate who did it expressed his dissatisfaction that it had not been done at BestBuy and he had to do it.The same day, I started googling my issue with the old phone and found the solution called Hard Factory Reset. So I did it. THE PHONE WORKED LIKE NEW. ALL THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AND EVERYTHING ELSE CAME BACK (SIM CARD).How in the world it was possible that Ive been told there was nothing to be done to fix my old phone? How low can the VW costumer service at the stores fall to even imagine such situation?I must say that after I called the VW I got the best service and understanding I could ask for. They apologized for unprofessionalism of people in the store and suggested I try to return the new phone to BestBuy. So I did having pain a $35 restocking fee wich was credited back into my account.BRAVO to the Verozon Wireless phone consumer service and SHAME to the store in North Haven.By the way, on Wednesday, Milford was my second attempt after I got rejected in the North Haven store.

Walked into the store as a senior citizen looking for a special package which other competitors offer to people over 6o. I was looking for unlimited data and unlimited calling . At this time they do not have this bundle for seniors but All I needed to know was explained to me by an EXCELLANT REP named SLOANEI even bought a new phone! His expertise and curteousness to me was second to none. Because of his professionalism I decided to stay with VERIZON and also hoping the company will start to bundle the costs for seniors who like myself have been a loyal customer and now live on a fixed income. His explanation of my new Android with the features I was looking for made me comfortable leaving the store knowing this was the phone for me. Store ManagerPlease take notice of this individual and any future promotions please seriously consider him for the position. I worked at SNET for 25 years in Installation. Cable, product sales,and manager of Customer Services Hqtrs. I know Customer service and I can tell you hed be at the top of my list. Love many product you have to offer and I will be back in the store soon. I wish you all success and to my fellow public friends stop by the store and say hello to Sloane and all the fine Reps there. I Had NO WAIT ! If anything I had to wait over 40 minutes for my wife to meet up with me!!!!

This is a terrible place. Erased my girlfriends phone and couldnt get back her info. Terrible service, refused to help. - true testament of the lack of pride and customer service at Verizon stores nowadays. If you need your iphone looked at go to Apple. They still care about the customer.
