I recently moved into a home with a tighter front door access. I had an idea of what I wanted to buy but after walking through many furniture stores, came up empty. Most employees of these stores were pushy while also lacking real knowledge. It was frustrating. Then I walked into Actionwood and immediately met Christopher. He was easy going but eager to help. I told him what I was looking for and then we went to work. He showed me so many options, helped me measure pieces and ultimately led me to a beautiful sofa. It was well past the store closing time when I’d found what I wanted and Christopher stayed with me, then found the two pieces buried in their adjacent warehouse, loaded it onto my truck and then carefully strapped it down. He stayed nearly two hours past closing time, all while exuding a genuinely positive and willing attitude.The new sofa fit through my front door and is perfect for my space! It is super comfortable, well built and was had for a great deal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that people go to Actionwood Furniture and ask for Christopher!

We had a great experience buying our sofa sleeper from Action Home Furniture for our Airbnb unit. The hardware mechanism on the sleeper broke after only a few uses, which was disappointing, but things happen and we dont blame Action Furniture for the failure of the product. We were hopeful when told by Darwin and their sofa repair person that they ordered the mechanism and could repair the sofa. That was in May, almost 5 months ago.. Our emails for status updates have been ignored and when we called we were brushed off and essentially told tough luck. Were not even confident at this point that the order for the part was ever even made, but five months of a non functional couch has been too long. We are now pursuing the repair from Ashley furniture (manufacturers of the sofa in question) where I realize we should have purchased the sofa from in the first place. Action home Furniture is happy to take your money and sell you a nice sofa but will leave you dry if you have any issues with your purchase.

Horrible customer service, went here twice was treat very rude lowest prices my a$$ went to talk to them about price matching and was yelled at that they are the lowest price. might be a further drive but I recommend going to Tooele to get furniture they really do have the lowest price and the nicest staff.

Went looking for sofas and a dining room table. Couldn’t get anybody to help me. There were three employees at the desks and all I got was a “hello.” I asked a couple questions across the store, hoping somebody would be willing to help me. No luck. They never even stood up out of their chairs. Won’t be going back.

We stopped in looking for a specific sectional that wed found online and were incredibly impressed with the selection that Action Home had available. There is a standard wait time that the furniture industry is experiencing due to covid-19 and other transport logistics so we knew wed have to join the wait-list but the owner and sales team explained all of that to us patiently and helped us to feel confident about making our purchase while they secured our pieces on the next incoming shipment. They have phenomenal prices compared to Ashley, RC Willey, John Paras and even other local shops! They offer financing and other options for purchasing their furniture that can help with getting the furniture that you want. Id recommend Action Home Furniture most definitely!

I just left Action Home Furniture after having a disappointing conversation with Darwin, the showroom floor manager. I was called a couple hours ago by Action Home telling me my entertainment center I ordered online was ready for pick-up. So I drive my truck 45 min to pickup my order. I arrive to Action and find out only 3 of 4 pieces are ready and the last piece is still weeks away. I was under the impression I was getting my entertainment system today because I need it for this weekend. I talk to Darwin and request a refund. They still have possession of the order. Unapologetically he says tough luck. No refunds. You have to wait till the last piece arrives. Worse customer experience Ive encountered. Waste of my time. And time is money $$$

Called them for a specific sectional that i was looking for and was told that they had it in stock. I was very specific that i needed a left side facing and asked them to make sure that was what they had because It was an 80 mile drive from out of state for me. Confirmed it was what i wanted. Called the next day and had another salesman confirm again that they had what i wanted. Drove 80 miles and was told they did not have a left facing only a right facing, one salesman laughed and said they could sell it in two unmatching colors. I told them I might be interested in another color but I was ignored by both salesmen. I told them it was a long drive and i was pretty disapointed after confirming 3 times with 2 different people that they had what i wanted. They seemed amused, walked away and didnt speak to me again.

In a nutshell. If it wasnt for David (nicest sales person), I would have totally taken my business somewhere else. The owner of this establishment (Marty) is basically the rudest person Ive ever encountered. We had an issue with a piece of furniture that we ordered and instead of politely working with us to resolve it, he IMMEDIATELY places the blame on us and on top of that, tries to nickel and dime us on the delivery costs. Even when we go into the store in person to try to fix this, he is rude, and abrasive for no reason. Im sorry, but am I not buying furniture from your store and giving you my money?!! What in the world is going on here? Please please please stay away from this store. Oh and by the way, he clearly doesnt seem to be aware that we are in a pandemic. Doesnt wear a mask and just seems clueless as to what is going on.

Good selection but apparently its like construction.... I was told I had to wait 6 to 8 weeks for items.Come in and see our large selection of furniture. Most items are in stock and ready for pickup. If not, they are in route and you will rarely wait more than 10-14 daysIm great with waiting but ads are completely misleading....

Bought a $800 sofa. Came broken since the fist day it got home. Been calling the store manger since. And nothing still have the broken recliner sofa at home. They lied to me telling me they were gonna make another order for the sofa. The truth they never did. Feeling very upset. Was my familys first sofa here in Utah. Absolutely very bad customer service. And they have lost another customer. Wont recommend them to any one. Its better paying little more some where else for great value. Than wasting your money on broken furniture.

We specifically bought here because the owner guaranteed that we would have our sofa by July 31st when we bough on June 27th. He gave us a 20 min. speech on how theyre better than RC Willy and the pandemic hasnt slowed them down. Then he talked to us about his political views which was very annoying. When the time came for our couch to be delivered we only got 2 of the 4 pieces. They called and said it would be there by August 21st. So we waited 3 more weeks then called again. Then they said it would be there the next Monday. We didnt hear back for another week so I just called today and they said it still hadnt come in and that they will deliver next Friday hopefully. I know its not unheard of to wait this long, but Im just upset that he got us to buy from him using a false guarantee.I called back today Sept. 2nd and the manager apologized for the experience weve had so far. I really appreciated that and they said itll be here this Friday.

Very pleased with my experience. I had been looking for a specific dresser - everyone was sold out. They estimated me 6 weeks. I was able to pick up my dresser only 3ish weeks later. Very shocked when I got the phone call, but was excited. A few drawers came a little damaged during shipping, but they ordered replacements for me. Thank you.

Dishonest. I found them on KSL and ultimately purchased a couch and loveseat. I waited a week for delivery and they didn’t show up. They gave a lame excuse about confusing the order with someone else and not loading the furniture on the delivery truck. A week later and the couches were delivered.Last night I was browsing KSL and saw that they have the same set of couches advertised twice with 2 different prices. I was charged the higher price so I called the store for a refund of the difference (roughly $150). The guy was rude, unprofessional, and had no interest honoring the lower price. He actually hung up on me and the conversation wasn’t heated.The delivery issue was one thing but being charged a higher price is just dishonest.This place doesn’t deserve your business. Definitely look elsewhere.

I went this past weekend looking for a bed frame. At first the salesman said hello and asked if we had any questions we said not yet so we looked around.Once we found the bed frame we wanted my wife asked how long will it be until they can get it to us. The sales guy tone changed for the worse and told us that because of the pandemic it could be 2 months and if we were going to call him everyday he didnt want our business. So yeah I wont be doing business with them. Im not sure why he became so rude and unprofessional. I get the pandemic and it will take awhile.So all in all great selection horrible customer service.

Do not shop here! Marty is so rude and unprofessional. Told us things were in stock and they weren’t. When we called in to get updates when it was past the delivery date people said they would call us back and never did. When we finally just asked to get a refund, Marty was yelling and threatening us?! Unorganized and unprofessional.

So amazed at the horrible customer service. I drove from Provo to buy a sectional. I told them I was going to go home and measure and then Id call with my credit card. Marty told me to call him the next day and let him know what I decided. I have called for four days now and they keep telling me hes out and to call in a couple of days. Today I asked if there was anyone else who could help me and he said No, there are 10 people in the store who I need to help. If you need to go buy it from somewhere else, our feelings wont be hurt. I said this is crazy, I came in and everytime I call I cant get help. His response, These are crazy times. I couldnt believe how little they care about there customers. Additionally, they have a sign out saying they guarantee the lowest prices. I asked him about it and he said, Oh sorry, we need to take that down. We dont price match.

Zero stars if it was possible. Put an order in on 06/26/2020 with David he said that it would be delivered on 07/17/2020 or on 07/18/2020. When it got closer to the delivery date, called the store to see what time it would be delivered and they couldnt find the invoice. The store called back an hour later saying they found it and that it would be another month before the furniture gets delivered. When we called and told them the days that we were told, the owner of the store said that WE were lying about the delivery dates. So they either never put the order in or forgot about it. As of yesterday, some of the furniture was suppose to be delivered by the delivery people or the store owner personally and that never happened. Never got a call explaining why it wasnt delivered. Called the store this morning and they said that the delivery truck had an accident and that the store owner had other things to take care of.So, by the time everything is suppose to get here, it will have been THREE MONTHS!Cant say whether the furniture is nice or not. Still waiting for the rest of it to get here. Maybe Ill write something in three months.

I strongly do not recommend. As far as price goes you get what you pay for. Their service is the issue. My fiance and i walked in there june 26th and ordered a bedroom set and a couch. They reassured us these would take 3 weeks maybe 4 to deliver because they were out of stock. On the day they were supposed to deliver they never came or called. I called the next day and they had no idea what i was talking about so they said theyd call back again the following day. When they did, it was the owner and he didnt seem honest to me. Several times i felt like he was lying to me. I believe they forgot about my order because they told me it was going to take another 3 weeks for a delivery. 3 weeks pass and still there is no delivery. At this point we have been sleeping on the floor for 3 weeks and it has been 6 weeks since our order. The following week they deliver the couch and most of our bed but we are still on the floor. The delivery guys came at 3pm, our window was 11am-3pm, they then caught me off guard and asked for the delivery fee even though i had paid for everything the previous day on card, and they didnt have change so i was late for work. The owner calls that day and says he will come by in two days time to drop off the bed frame personally. Of course he doesnt and there is no call. I go and pick it up myself. It takes until September 1st for me to get a call saying that the rest of my order is in store and i got there to pick that up myself aswell. While im there, i hear the salesman spitting the same lies they told me about a 3 week delivery so i corrected what he said to the couple after he left. After 10 weeks, dozens of phone calls, and several broken promises, we finally have all of our furniture but we are left frustrated and feeling taken advantage of. I do not recommend Action Furniture to anyone.

We had a great experience coming into the store with great service. We ordered a couch and was promised delivery on August 31. August 30th we get a call saying that the piece we ordered was actually not in stock (like they thought it was) so they would need to order it. They said it would take a few weeks.On September 23rd we called in to get a status update. Someone said they would give us a call back. They never called. September 25th we called and again they said theyd call back. When they called back Darwin said that it should be loaded on September 28th and delivered around the 1st or 2nd.October 7th we call in to find out where it is and an employee looks it up and says they wont have it for another few weeks, but that he will have someone else call us back to confirm. No one calls us. Today October 9th, we call in to follow up again. We are told that it has been delayed and wont be in until November 8th. I express my frustration to the man about not being told any of this until now and he very rudely tells me there is nothing he can do besides just give me my money back. When I tell him I will just take the refund, he is snarky and tells me good luck going somewhere else. I explain that the customer service and overall communication has been less than professional and this really sets him off. He yells at me and says he is frustrated with me. I tell him that him yelling at me and being rude when I ask for my refund back is exactly the point. I told him I would just like my money back at this point and will write this review (although originally we recommended family there because initially it was a great experience). He said he was going to call my workplace and complain about me??? So thats the business model here. Drop the ball several times and then when asked just to get your money back after 8 weeks of not having a couch, they threaten to call your workplace? Pretty childish and again not professional. I believe in supporting local businesses but not this one. Everyone was kind besides this man. His name is Marty and I would avoid him at all costs. He is beyond rude.

Had such a great experience here. It was a no stress environment, you can definitely shop at your leisure. Dave didnt push us for sales, but made sure to check up on us to see if we had questions. When we decided to make a purchase, he made the process very quick and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He breaks down all of the pricing for delivery and payments so you know exactly whats going to happen. I would recommend shopping here!

I went to Action Home Furniture knowing I wanted a couch, but thats about it. The prices were very reasonable, so I had a lot of options in my price range. The guy that greeted me was so helpful. He let me draw out my room and explain what I thought might work. He got a tape measure and measured couch lengths and even gave me advice on which color to get and benefits of different styles. Once I picked one, I had to come back for the second half of the sectional because it wouldnt all fit in one load. On the way back, I ran into traffic and he even stayed a few minutes after they closed so I wouldnt have to wait for the other half of the couch. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely buy here again.

I found this place on KSL classified and Im glad I did! They had a great selection of the stuff I was looking for in my Living room and Bedroom.I got great help from Darwin, the Manager on my mattress. After having Commission sales guys elsewhere try to sell me $3000 mattresses he gave me the straight scoop and saved me a ton of money. I appreciated the relaxed environment without the pressure. When I first decided to shop here, they were amazing! But once my couches were delivered, one of them had broken. It took an absolute battle to get it replaced. Then they brought me the wrong item. Nevertheless, they fixed the mistake. I got my second couch and it also broke. After a second issue, I’m sure any person would be fed up and want to return the entire set. But they won’t allow that. They do not do returns and refuse to do anything except send a technician to look at the couches..At any other store, if you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, you are able to return the item. I’m completely disappointed in the lack of customer service and the disregard of customer satisfaction.Please don’t buy from this place! VERY POOR quality.

They have a great selection and great prices! My husband and I shopped all over and were so relieved to find a store where we were not harassed from one corner to another. Darwin was patient and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. If you want stuffy and pushy this is not your place. Wouldn’t recommend, being a former employee of the place they are honestly a terrible company. “Manager’s” way of hiding the damages done to the furniture is to try and cover it up with a sharpie or use glass cleaner. Oh and don’t forget to really measure your door ways and area for the furniture because if it doesn’t fit when they bring it to you then you’re paying the delivery fee and if I remember correctly a 20-30% restocking fee.

I am not a huge fan of going somewhere and having 20 people try and sell me something. I was greeted with a hello when I got there. There weren’t a lot of people in the store and not a huge sales staff. We got to look at everything in peace and make our choice. I asked for a tape measure and they gave me one to use. I don’t know if he did it on purpose or not (I’m calling it my veterans discount, no I don’t know if they have one.) but he gave us the couch and ottoman for 999.99. Which I believe was about $150.00 off on the total price. No complaints. I believe the couch was $850 and the ottoman was $299.The furniture was what it was. It’s good furniture for what you are spending. Not gonna sugar coat it if you can’t tell what you are buying that is on you. I was looking for midrange furniture at a reasonable price. That is what I got.I paid cash, things are good. The delivery fee was high to me for living 15 minuets away. I borrowed a truck and picked it up. They gave us the wrong ottoman, 705 versus 750 simple mistake. I got an apology and my ottoman and was on my way.Not gonna lie, I liked my experience. Sure they could flower it up and have people fawn over you and be right at the door with a Greeter but you’ll pay more for that experience as it costs more to do that. It’s simple and direct and I appreciate that.They also came recommended by a friend who had no complaints. All in all I would do business with them again.

It was an absolute delight shopping for furniture here (which is something I typically hate doing). I found the prices to be fantastic, but my favorite thing was that the sales staff was not pushy at all. In fact, every time we asked a question and got a helpful answer, the sale man always parted with, Take as much time as you need.When we left to check out some other stores, we werent met with any parting pressure to just make a decision. Instead, we were again met with, We appreciate you coming in. We went to about 5 different furniture stores trying to find furniture that fit our new home. Action home furniture had the exact furniture we were looking for. We had very similar furniture on order at RC Willey then we found this place. We saved about $1,200 dollars buying here instead. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced! DO NOT SHOP HERE! We purchased a bed and sectional from Action. After we were told the delivery charge would be $80 they came back and said it would be $140 because of the distance. We understood, but then they came with the wrong color sectional. The delivery guys were told they had to leave the couch and couldnt take it back. We called Action and they said they delivered what was on the order form so they were just going to leave it. When we explained that they didnt order what we asked for they kept talking about how they were going to lose money if they take it back. They didnt care that they gave us completely the wrong thing. They were WAY more worried about losing money than giving us what we want. Eventually we got them to take the couch and give us a credit towards a new couch (less than what we paid). That does not include the full price of the new couch or the new delivery charge. So we end up being the ones losing money when they were the ones who messed up.

Bought a gorgeous microfiber and leather sectional from Darwin about 6 months ago. We visited the store numerous times and there was no pressure to buy. He simply showed us product, answered our questions and was wonderful to work with. I am sending my niece there today to buy a small sectional for her apartment. My husband and I purchased our first ever couch from here and absolutely loved the service we were given. They helped us pick out which couch would work best with our budget and make it happen. I will forever buy furniture from this company. However, my only problem was with the financing company they worked with. It was no interest until after 3 months and then they basically tach it all on at once and the interest is basically what you bought the couch for originally.. so yeah.

Very impressed with this place! We shopped around quite a bit for couches and tables including all the big name stores and these guys had better prices and a great selection. The staff was very friendly and no one followed us everywhere we went hoping to get a sale. We chose to order new sets of our choice and they were delivered when they were promised and set up quickly for a very reasonable fee. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

I contacted “Darwin” regarding a post on Facebook. I asked if they offered delivery to my area in Syracuse, to which he provided high cost delivery options. Given previous reviews regarding damaged furniture, I responded, “That’s pretty steep. Thanks anyway!:)” and they felt it necessary to respond with a laughing emoji. I understand that everyone is trying to make money, but not all of us want to pay $125.00 to have furniture delivered with the risk of them being damaged, and dealing with an uncooperative replacement process. I feel it was not only rude, but also very unprofessional for a business owner. I live in a brand new neighborhood where a lot of us are trying to find new furniture, and will be sure to let all of my neighbors know that Action Home Furniture is not the place to go! How disappointing.

They had bunk-bed that my son wanted and got it to use for less than half of other places. They were also one of the only places that still had the Balboa Bedset (which is now discontinued) that my wife wanted.Love to work with Marty (owner of the Store), very knowledgeable and friendly.ActionWood had exactly what I wanted; I will go back before going anywhere else.

Great Prices on Sub-par furniture. If you are in the market for some furniture that looks great and is inexpensive, then this place is worth a visit. We did not end up buying anything from Action Home simply because I didnt think it would withstand my kids. Mostly everything seemed like it would break with too much use or abuse. Action Home had new styles and looks and good prices for what you were getting. I never felt pushed or annoyed by the sale team either.

Good prices, very average service. The sales people/employees were nice and not pushy. The selection is relatively good. The prices are pretty good as well. We bought a bed room set (2 night stands, bed frame, dresser, mirror). The bed frame was in stock and we got that immediately. One night stand and the dresser and the mirror came 2 weeks later. They told us it would be 5-10 days before the rest came (meaning business days), and it was 10 business days before those items came. The remaining night stand took another 10 business days (2 weeks) to arrive. They told me they would call when it came in and they did not. The quality of the furniture seems great. The prices are pretty good. The styles are good- similar to RC willed and Ashley. However, if you want something fast, this place might not be for you. It is probable you could wait 1-4 weeks for your item. Also, I got put on hold and Im pretty sure the ring back tone on hold was Brittney Spears, or Miley Cyrus. That was a plus. At least I got a little extra Britney or Miley in my life (I think they just use a radio station).

I walked in to buy a new couch with a 2,000 budget.Upon walking in to the store I got received no help or even a greeting. There was only 1 customer in the store, but now I understand why. I will never go back to this place again.Worst customer service ever...

Seriously horrible customer service! Delivery was a disaster, due to empty promises and lack of follow thru by the people answering the phone. The day after the couch was delivered they called because I hadnt signed the 90 days same as cash contract. I told them I didnt sign it because the amount showed $115 higher than what they quoted me. They told me that I needed to call Progressive (90 days same as cash vendor) to figure out why and that if I didnt sign the contract they would come pick up the couch. After 30 minutes on the phone with Progressive, when I am at work on a busy Monday morning, I found out that the extra $115 is a 10% fee that Action assesses to anyone who uses the 90 days same as cash option thru Progressive. Funny that no one at Action mentioned that when I ordered the sectional and that they made me call Progressive to find out about it. I have used Progressive at other retailers before, like Mattress Firm and did not have the fee, so you could imagine my confusion about my contract amount being higher than I was quoted. But I better just agree and sign the contract or apparently theyre going to confiscate my new sectional and I can pretty much guarantee they wont refund the $75 in cash I had to pay the delivery people. At this point its not worth the fight. Discounted prices are worthless due to the hidden fees. There are plenty of other furniture retailers around with great customer service. I dont recommend anyone waste their time or money at Action Home Furniture!

This place feels shady to me. I just drove two hours to go buy a sofa set they listed online last night. Got there right at opening, which was the only time I could work it (otherwise I would have called before leaving). The online listing said it was in stock and available to take home today. Turns out they’ve been out of those sofas for a while, and it would take months of waiting in order to get them. I understand having gimmicks to get people in the door, but outright lying seems a little much. Four hours of driving for NOTHING.

Saw a tv stand online went and looked at it looked good 600$ After saying they had one in the box in the back turned out they didnt so they wrapped up the floor model broke it loading it in my truck guy came out with some wood glue and a black marker got it home found another gash they just covered up with a marker first and last time i go there

I did not have a good experience. I purchased a sectional and headboard and full queen bedroom set. I hadnt heard from the store in almost 2 weeks so I called the store to see if my furnitures was in. Half of it was. The salesman told me to call back the next day at 2:00. He would be in at 1:00 and get everything organized. At 2:00 I went in to check and see if the furniture was ready for me to take and when I approached the salesman who sold me the furnitures he got mad at me and said, Why are you here? You were suppose to call me at 4:00. REALLY? No, you were suppose to call me at 2:00 and I was suppose to pick up the furniture at 4:00. What blew my mind is that he knew I was going to purchase $2,000 for a new table, chairs and a long table to go behind the sectional couch....after his reaction towards me I left and will not go back! I sent a truck to pick up what was there. I want good customer service and if customer service is not a priority why should I spend my money at a store that has a salesman that doesnt give a rats @*%# if I purchase anything or NOT?? I called the manager and shared this with him....I dont think he really cared either.

Darwin (Sales Manager) helped us buy a couch we liked, but they delivered it with black grease on it from the delivery truck. The delivery people were rude to my wife, and she called Darwin to complain. Darwin didn’t believe her, and she called me at work crying.I called Darwin to tell him that was unacceptable and he asked me to go home and see if what my wife was saying was true and, if it were, he’d make it right.I was upset about the couch, but I was most upset that he told me that my wife’s word didn’t matter and that I needed to go home and see if she was telling the truth. I guess you could call this sexist but at the bare minimum, it was extremely unprofessional.Action Home Furniture sold us a good couch at an affordable price, but Darwin didn’t treat my wife with respect. And for that reason alone we will likely not be doing business with them again.

I inquired about a listing I saw on Facebook. I asked if they had a link to the couch they had advertised. Instead of telling me it was sold out or not online, they said no. Nowhere in the website was a couch in an even similar price point.So I said: I dont see the couch on your website. 😞 this seems like a bait and switch.I must have struck a chord, because the response I got from (I assume the owner) was this: ?? So because there is an actual photo of an actual item in the store that Im not going to hassle to send you a link, you cry bait and switch? Do me a favor and shop somewhere else👍👍👍👍👌👌👌Not the best customer service I have experienced. Perhaps I will avoid them in the future. Unfortunate considering I just bought a home and need to furnish it.

Ordered a bed frame here, came with one of the wrong parts(different side boards), they ordered the new parts and would not deliver it for their mistake, so I go and pick it up, and they said they would give me an extra slats for free. Turns out they just gave me two boxes of slats, and still not the part I needed. They wouldnt believe me, so I sent them a picture, and they found the pieces still in their garage. I had to go back (again) for a third time. Because they wouldnt deliver even for their own mistake. And then it turned out the extra slats they gave me, were actually supposed to be included in the first place.Terrible customer service. I would have been satisfied had they made an actual effort to fix their multiple mistakes, but they did not.

This was my first time coming here & was a little apprehensive at first but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I didn’t catch the names of the two kind gentlemen that helped me, but I was in and out with my new & inexpensive bed within 10 minutes. I will 100% be coming back for any more furniture I might need in the future!
