I want to preface this by saying I had a negative experience in the past, but gave Middletown Honda another shot. I was recently in a car accident and needed a new car. This is probably the worst time to need a new car with low inventory due to the pandemic and now lots of people wanting new cars. However, Im so glad that my partner stopped in at Middletown Honda and ran into Art (he has purchased several cars from Art in the past, and they were all great experiences).I was hesitant to go to Middletown Honda, but Art put me at ease right away. He is the ideal salesperson for me - incredibly knowledgeable but low pressure. He made me feel like I was the only customer around and had as much time for me as I needed. Instead of dealing with a high pressure salesperson who only sees numbers, Art was more like a friend or an uncle who just wants you to make the best choice for yourself. Art helped me select the Honda HRV and even found one in the color that I like. He made each and every step of the process painless and easy. Im sure he has other customers (and likely a personal life) but he made it feel like I was the most important customer. This customer service is second to none. He stayed in contact each step of the way, and once i found the car I wanted, he made sure it was reserved for me.When I came to pick up the car, Destiny helped me understand all of the features as well as set up my preferences. Destiny was incredibly patient and explained everything in detail so that I could set things up in a way that makes sense for me. Together, Art and Destiny are an amazing team! They made this process easy and very lovely.

Always an amazing experience with Middletown! How is it that the ENTIRE staff is friendly and knowledgeable? Christian and Jorge were able to get me into a new vehicle that very same day! My lease was ending in 6 days so I was under the gun. This is my 3rd vehicle from Middletown Honda and as long as I lease Hondas, Ill be giving them my business.

I went by the showroom this morning to look at models and received the most horrible service possible. I have been a Honda owner for over 20 years and I am looking to trade in my cross tour for a new model.When I arrived, a man at the office to the right of the front door, first desk on the left, asked me if I need help. I said I am interested in the insight, he simply replied we are sold out. I looked around the showroom and he approached me (never gave his name) and said yup, we are sold out. He then turned and walked away from me. I tried to give another opportunity starting that I am looking to trade in my cross tour for another model and he didn’t reply, just dismissed me and went back to his desk.I presume that business is really good and you seem to not need mine. Don’t worry I will share this story with anyone I know who is looking to purchase a vehicle soon.

I just want to say this dealership is extremely professional patient and nice. I came in the other day looking at the type R limited edition and ran numbers with Fadi the sales manager and he was respectful the whole time. Never pushy. And Artur the sales rep also has been the same. Not pushy, only nice and professional. I ended up not going with the car just because of some personal reasons but I wanted to write this review because I want to give credit where credit is due. Again ever since I walked into this dealership I was treated with respect and patience. I will think of them for future business and hope this helps people who want to buy a Honda to come here.

The automated system is not helpful as you can press 3 for parts, but then when they dont answer it transfers call to a reservation department. So you call back 14 times throughout the day and get the same thing. Then you try to contact each department to get a person to help get parts for you and sales transfers you to service then service doesnt understand what you want and hangs up on you. Its very frustrating when you need to order parts, but you cant unless you go into the dealership to order them at counter what good is automated system if nobody in each department picks up phone or will help you get a person to pick up in the department you need. Looks like this is going to be my last Honda and I will go elsewhere to get parts I need to fix what I need on this vehicle. I also had an issue with sales when I was looking to buy this vehicle I had to go to a different dealership further away to purchase since I was given the cold shoulder when I was trying to buy one at your dealership.

This wouldn’t have been an exceptional experience and purchase without you!I have been to several dealers in the last month, I’m desperate search of a decent vehicle after losing our 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe to a total loss. With the car market upside down, a used car just wasn’t even worth the value. We new it was ultimately time to buy our first Brand New car.Me and my wife (Both 26yrs) carry just under 700 credit. We have little credit history but outstanding financial stability, payment history and paid-in-full revolving credit accounts.This was a challenge for many dealers and kept giving me the runaround of my credit is too low. I knew I just needed to find the right set of guys to take car of us and my kids. After stumbling into Honda, I was directed to speak to a Salesman named Gus (a temporary worker for Art) Gus was very kind and efficient with getting us setup with a new 2021 Honda CR-V Ex that was still inbound (not on the lot yet) after getting basic info processed I was passed of to Sean in finances.Sean was, and is, one of the most heart filled gentleman I have and will ever meet. He has a soft spot for genuinely trying to help people, I’m any ways possible. He seen we were in desperate need of a car, about to finance through Capital One desperate (Killer APR rates) he said he will do anything possible to get the car financed for a much better deal.Days later he calls me to tell me I’m approved through Honda and that once the car is there, it’s mine.We came into a small bump with Honda wanting proof that my last loan was paid in full but I was still waiting for the insurance payment to process. He was even able to help with getting that excepted because of the special situation I was placed in. (Loan was paid of the very next day after picking up the Honda too)Once I got the call about the car on the lot, Sean and Art got to work getting paperwork finalized for my immediate pickup.I talked with Sean and he set me up with, what was in both our perspectives, all the best coverages I would need/want.I was then passed off to Destinee whom was very calm, generous and thorough about finalizing and signing all paperwork. She was very clear about what was being signed and done and was very knowledgeable about the car we were getting and all paperwork that was being processed.Even caught a few minor mistakes!Thank you, all 4 of you. Took the wifes Honda in for an the airbag recall, (third time) and 2.5 hours later it came out with gouge marks from the prying tool that was used to remove the cover on the dashboard. Awesome! Dont bother laying a shop cloth down first before digging your tools into the middle of the dash. Wouldn’t want to waste anymore of your time with our elderly SUV. I’ll find another dealership when it’s time for a new Honda.

Giving this play a 3 star review. Normally they are very good but they really let me down with their service. I went in with a 2018 car because the ac was not working. Knowing that the 2018 car should not have run out of ac and knew it was a warranty issue they charged me $417 to fill it. Now they confirmed it was a warranty issue and I received a letter from honda acknowledging its a car recall issue. They did not want to give me a refund and never answer the phone when you call.

After previous experiences with Honda that didn’t go well, l must share my experience with Mark Connolly.I had a paint recall on my 2016 HRV and my back door began to peel. It was denied because a friend who does body work had put white paint on the spot to keep it from rusting/ expanding till l could get it fixed. I was upset and vowed to contact themain office. Before this happened Mark called and went the “extra mile”. He called his rep and cleared the way to fix my peeling paint. Great job Mark!

Very disappointing and frustrating experience as a repeat customer. We ordered a car on July 17th. Due to the car shortage we were told it would take a few weeks to come in. Received notification that the car was delivered on August 18th and was told we could pick it up the next day. Received a phone call on August 19th stating that car was sold to someone else and that we would have to wait a few weeks for another one to come in. Buyers beware.

Bought a 2011 sonata before I took the car the dealership said it would service the car car had brake issues and needed tires and oil change. Took vehicle only to find out the brakes weren’t done. I don’t know how a dealer could pass an inspection with bad brakes. Took car BACK and they said they would fix brakes. Thought everything was good till I took it to Suresky for recalls. Turns out the caliper was seized and the oil was never changed. It is true the sales reps are nice. But the service dept got issues. I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR CARS FOR SERVICE. COST ME AN ADDITIONAL 450 to replace caliper and oil change. I was kinda disappointed that a dealership would be so careless and dishonest. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THEIR AGAIN.

Dont come to this place, they only play with you to take money from you!!! They sent an email for me to change my lease for a cheaper one, when I arrive I deliver the car in perfect condition and they found a large dent in the roof (this is very strange but I did not want to argue) they told me to fix it and I could keep the value of the car. I did it and they did not keep their word, they still lowered the value of my car. They debated 1000 more, 1000 less, 500 more, 500 less. It was stressful and an unpleasant experience. We finally got to see the new car, but they started to change the cost of the new car again, changing all the time, even the finance staff also began to change the cost, going up and down, this made me feel so confused and stressed, They really were playing with me. Do not come here.

Not a good experience. The salesperson Osei? - could not answer any of my questions about a vechicle my husband and I were going to purchase for my daughter - always referred me to finance manager Fadi. Spoke to Fadi once, told us all was good to go, but he was barely forthcoming with details, never emailed us anything. I subsequently left one more message for him, and he never returned the call. I guess they didnt want to do this purchase through docusign since we were out of state. Maybe it was just too much work for them. No return call is not professional. Do you folks want to sell cars? I guess there is enough demand at this time.

This was my first experience at a dealership and leasing a car. I worked with Ed F and Dan O. They were both very helpful and answered all my questions. But, what I liked most was that they were not pushy or aggressive when it came to leasing me a car, I really appreciated that. I was nervous about that, I didnt want to feel like I was being pressured into a car I wasnt sure about. I test drove my 2021 CRV-EXL and knew it was MY car. I am greatly disappointed with a totally non-responsive, overly greedy, and superbly over-rated sales team at Middletown Honda. On April 9, 2021, I gave these folks a call after reviewing an advertised used vehicle on Capital One website. I needed a car ASAP and I was a motivated buyer after losing my vehicle as a total loss.  A young lady of Dominican descent named Tatiana, ( I think that was her name), answered my call and stated that the vehicle that was decided on was still available.  I asked if it were possible to purchase and get the vehicle on the same day.  Initially, she indicated that various options had to be discussed prior to any consummation of any vehicle.  I mistakenly stated that I was pre-approved with Capital One and all I needed was for a credit application to be submitted to them.  After learning that I was preapproved with Capital One, she exasperatedly exhaled on the phone and stated that I should come in.After arrival at their saleroom, I was greeted by the salesperson named above who then attempted to talk me away from Capital One Auto purchase program. When I couldnt be swayed, she introduced me to Sean B. Curtin, the sales manager who mockingly gestured that I could do better than Capital One.  He submitted without my authorization several credit applications with other banks including Teachers Credit Union, Valley National Bank, and JP Morgan Chase resulting in multiple hard-Pulls on my credit report. As I was sitting on their sales floor, my cell phone was vibrating incessantly from the credit score company that I am a member of.  Shortly thereafter and frustratedly, he gave me his business card and stated that I should give him a call on the following Monday or Tuesday to complete the processing for the vehicle.After not receiving a call or a text from this team, I drove out to Enterprise used car sales and purchased a more recent dated vehicle for several thousand dollars less, less mileage than the one that I was interested in purchasing from Middletown Honda, used my preapproved low-interest credit from Capital One and drove out with my new vehicle within one hour of arrival with very little fanfare.Remember folks, car salespeople are not in the business to sell you a car.  They are literally in the finance business.  If they could strong-arm you into a vehicle with even 1 % higher interest than the lowest offer from a preapproved bank, they reap a huge contract windfall against you where you will be needlessly paying big time over the term of your contract.You see when I wouldnt diverge from Capital One financing who offered me a great APR of 3.4% on a used vehicle with my credit score, I acknowledged that Middletown Honda couldnt beat this rate and I stood firm.  Middletown Honda on the other hand still has their used Honda with protracted milage on their lot and I get to keep the huge savings in my pocket.  Thank you Middletown Honda for revealing your ostentatious greed, clandestine unpermissible maneuvering, and terrible business mantra.

Just had a limb fall on my Honda truck which I purchased at Middletown Honda. Broke the front windshield. Called the dealer I purchased the truck from to schedule a repair. Cars and trucks are much more sophisticated than before and there are electronics that need to be calibrated that work through the windshield. What better place to get this repaired than an authorized Honda trained shop. Well guess what! Middletown Honda does not repair windshields even on the cars and trucks they sell. Very, very disappointed. Why is this? Lesson learned. When you purchase, ask the dealer if they support ALL repairs.

Salesforce doesnt seem to know a lot about the cars and year end incentives, extremely hard to get a hold of, dont reach out/back in a timely fashion. They had a sales meeting in the middle of the day while there were many customers waiting in the lobby for assistance with purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership I recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and my sales representative Mr. Ed Folkl was the greatest very detailed, honest and respectful even when he noticed something on the vehicle wasn’t looking too right he made sure it was taken care of by their detail department. After I purchase the vehicle I noticed the passenger side mirror was broken from the previous owner he ensured me his manager would contact me on this matter and in a couple of days I spoke to Christina who was also polite and apologetic about this matter she ensured that they will be able to get me a new mirror. I highly recommend Paul Scholten. After having repeatedly bad experiences from where i bought my car in April of 2019 at DCH Paramus Honda and living in Orange County NY I have been bringing my car to Middletown Honda since and couldnt be happier with my experience. When I bought the car, DCH gave me a free oil change with the car (which I had to pry out of them). I finally made my way to Paramus to get this done and had them look at my windshield washer lines because they werent working properly. I was quoted $217 dollars just to diagnose if it could be fixed- not a definite repair. I then went to Paul in Middletown with my concerns and he immediately worked diligently to work with me on a better price and was honest and caring the whole process. He ended up getting the issue repaired for only $129 dollars. I couldnt be any happier with his dedication and honesty towards the issue i was facing and I am sure he is just as well a hard worker with his other customers. Very understanding, great listener and I felt he treated me as he would want to be treated if he were a customer himself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PAUL SCHOLTEN! THANK YOU!

I got my car inspection there, they failed my brakes, wipers and recommend for lots other services. I asked to see the brakes because I just got them done about a year or so. Brake pads were about 6 or 7 mm and then they said it failed because rotors looked rusted? Most of rotors look rusted after a few months replaced.I went somewhere else and They recommended wipers but it all passed.Please try to be honest with your customers
