Drove 1 hour 45 minutes after talking to a lady twice on the phone about a car on the lot. Told them I was hoping to make a deal today. The seller tells me he just drive the car and it drives great. My wife and I take it for a test drive and it barely get up to 40mph in third gear. Told the sales guy this and he acted surprised. Someone else came out and confirmed that the car needed work and that it was in safety mode, said it was going in to be looked at today. Wish someone told me that before I drive all that way. What a waste of my day

Definitely not Jackson Chev service!! Hopefully, the mechanics work was done correctly, but l have my doubts. He took 1 hr. To change oil & filter !! He was away from my vehicle 75% of the time !! I was watching from the waiting area upstairs. Only actually working on my truck for 25 % of the time it was in his stall. Talking to mechanic next to him too much. Did not mark anything on the check sheet . lt is completely blank. He obviously did not do any checks. VERY disappointed . You have lost another customer. Your business is on a crash course.

I looked online, saw a truck I thought I wanted. My wife and I came in to the dealership and looked at it, did not like the huge sticker on the rear bed sides nor the rubber floors. Looked at the LTZ and purchased the truck. Start to finish was 3 daysStan is great to work with!!!

Was quoted a price $352 dollars over what I was able to get the door actuator replaced for at a local body shop. Plus I was charged $150 for an estimate that wasn’t deducted once the work would be done by your dealership and the auto body shop didn’t charge fir the estimate. Also the service advisor only gave me the cost of the work not the total price on the quote. Not happy.

Arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and Skylock checked me inTook pictures of my ZR1 for her records and was very professional asking me about what I would like for service of my 2019 Corvette ZR1 convertible. Showed me to waiting room. My technician Paul is the reason I came to this dealership as its about 1 hour drive from my house. I meet Paul with my last Corvette purchase from his dealership back in 2015 a 2015 Corvette Zo6 coupe ...he introduced himself and went over everything in my car 1 hour from front to back ...this technician was amazing with his knowledge of Corvette and every working parts...and I knew that he would be the only technician that I would ever want and have working on my pride and joy! So,when I purchased this rare Corvette convertible ZR1 ...I called his dealership and made a service appointment...Paul is the very best Corvette technician in the world, exceptional knowledge and expertise in this field, and after working on your car he sits down with you and goes over everything...amazing man...I have purchased 13 brand new Corvettes in my lifetime so for and so happy to have met Paul as he will be my Corvette technician for life!! My husband made an appointment with this dealership for a specific time, with a specific person, for a specific vehicle. This dealership called to confirm that appointment, with the specific vehicle the morning of the appointment.We went for the appointment, they had no idea who we were, we had to tell them what we were there for and then we had to wait to see someone. When we were seen, we told them again why we were there and they started to set up a test drive. My husband filled out all of the paperwork and copied his I.D and then an hour into the meeting they tell us the vehicle sold the night before.If the vehicle sold the night before, why did they confirm the appointment the next morning for that afternoon? If they made an appointment for a specific person at a specific time, why wasn’t it written down?Everyone was super pleasant and friendly, and the space was very clean. They just seemed disorganized enough to be wasting people’s time. I gave them three stars for the cleanliness and friendliness of staff only.If you plan on doing business with this dealership, just make sure you know the vehicle is there, triple check even, because sometimes I guess they might not know either.

I had such a wonderful experience! I walked into the service department to check in my truck, and the people there were SO NICE. There was an older gentlemen that entertained me with wonderful conversation while I was waiting. He was truly the sweetest man. The girl who took care of me was smiling (through her mask), super professional, and such a nice girl. Ive never been to Key before, but best believe I will not be going anywhere else. 10/10 for your customer service! Also, my truck drives like a dream. You are all awesome!

Total B.S. They charged me 134$ and wanted to charge me another $134 for what turned out to be a blown fuse! My brake lights stopped working so I had service diagnose the problem. Paid 1h=134$ for a diagnosis fee, then they requested another 1h=134$ because “this is proving to be a difficult diagnosis”. The report claims that they “checked fuse and relay all ok” which turned out to be false because I found the dead fuse myself, replaced it, and solved the problem. It took me a few minutes and a few dollars to fix something they wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars in labor for…. wow just wow… Needless to say, I will be going to another dealership...

Bought a used truck from Stanley, hes a nice guy and very knowledgeable. However, the tires were dry rotted, much worse than I initially thought. Key decided to do nothing to make it right. The discount they offered on a new set was a joke and still more expensive than the tire shops I called.The business model that sacrifices a relationship and loyalty for a few hundred dollars says an awful lot. This is our first negative review and well earned by Key Chevrolet. We called The parts department and gave them the VIN off a vehicle and asked for the Drivers seat ( Left Front ) out side plastic panel. They ordered it. After we received it we schedule an install with our customer. When we removed the part from the box we realized the parts guy ordered the rear seat ( Left Rear) plastic and not the drivers seat. When we asked to return it we were told they do not take returns. When Questioned nicely, the parts Manager ( Marty ) was extremely rude and swore at our technician. One of the parts guys was going to help and one of the service writers tried to help however Marty shut them down and was extremely rude. His lack of help and unwillingness to help correct a simple problem that they created, was ridiculous. We will NEVER use, refer or recommend this dealer again.

I was pleased with customer service from the very first call I made. On Mon, Apr 5, when my car initially showed trouble, I first called Scranton Chevy. They told me their first available appt to even LOOK at my vehicle would be the 14th!! I hung up and called you guys, Key Chevy, and you were able to get me in the very next day. Then on Tues, the 6th, I had to call several times and push my appt later as I dealt with tow truck issues. I talked with a couple people for those calls; both of which were understanding and helpful. Once my car was looked at, I was contacted by Alex, who was very knowledgeable and thorough. Alex continued to work with me in conjunction with my claims adjustor from Liberty. That process was simplified by Alex and took a lot of the normal stress of dealing with insurance out of the equation. Overall, it was a tremendous showing by the whole team in the service department and I will most certainly be back!! Thank you.

I missed an appt and a party my kids were to attend just trying to purchase a car. I say VERY patiently didn’t complain didn’t yell nothing and let me advise you I’m pregnant so at that time I was about 4 months. I dealt with Andre now after getting spot the car telling me everything was good all safety features etc were checked out I had to bring the car back 4 times for the same issue that I’m slightly STILL having and NOW sounds like my back brakes needs to be replaced! At this point I don’t even want to deal with bringing the car back I don’t even want to call and address it I’m so fed up and disappointed! I brought this SUV for safety features I’m expecting my 3rd child and I don’t feel safe I felt safer in the loaners than my own vehicle that I’m paying for. I work at a dealership myself and noons gas brought their car back complaining about any issues with they car! And the fact I work at a dealership and went outside my work place trusted and purchased a vehicle with you all is totally disappointing! I was referred to you all heard good things and only to have these issues. And what really disturbs me is I wrote a review and that’s how the service manager contacted me after Andre sent him an email well I go and my review isn’t even posted......it’s not to sabotage the company it’s for others to know truth about MY experience and the fact it’s ONLY good experiences that’s on the reviews is very misleading. I’m reaching out to you being the owner of the company so you know how I feel! I live in Hartford I had to bring my car back to Middletown 3 times to resolve issues that’s not properly resolved and too it off another issue has arised. I had made an appointment on a Wednesday to view the vehicle Saturday morning (appointments are necessary due to covid) and when I arrived the sales person looked around the dealership for the vehiclefor about an hour, only to find that management brought it home for the weekend for personal use. In fact, Ashton called and confirmed the appointment Friday evening prior. Management and sales apparently do not communicate with one another. Horrible business practices 👎***UPDATE***I was surprised that it took 4 weeks for any response but never a call or a live person apology. I will be sharing my experience on social media and deter any friends that may be a potential buyer.

Today I decided to call Key Chevrolet to see if I can get an oil change on my Corvette. This is a Saturday so the person that answered my call says can we have someone from our corvette Specialist call you back and sure enough 10 minutes later they called back and I spoke with Nick and told him what I would like and he said let me speak to our Corvette tech and see what he has available and he said come down in an hour so I did. When I arrived I went to see Nick and he introduced me to Paul the Corvette tech. They took my car in the shop and I waited for them to finish up 45 minutes later and Paul came up to get me and says can we show you some things about your car so I proceeded to go and he went over the whole car and explained to me what could be done down the road and he said no rush just giving you heads up like tires and brake pads these two employees gave me a great experience at the dealership and have best customer service experience i ever had and Paul knowledge for Corvette this is the person to talk to or trust thanks guys for a awesome honest job

The service would not take time to look into nor fight with warranty to get part fixed and were over charging me . This part has been an issue with GM Chevy to admit to and replace as per published online. The dealership was fine to let me drive the car when they said it was a safety hazard issue. I bought my car from Jackson now Key Chevrolet a few years ago. When my check engine light came on recently. I thought it would be in no better hands than the certified technicians who worked on it previously.I came to pick up my car tonight, it was left with them 2 days ago. I was the last customer and they closed up shop behind me. Long behold I could not even drive my car off the lot. I just paid a lot of money for not just the issue to be unresolved, but for there to be no improvement at all. Completely unacceptable when there is an additional fee to diagnose the check engine light. I left my car at the lot and asked for the manager to call me in the morning to discuss this.I will update this review with their response. My wife is pregnant and I really needed my car to be safe before I took it back.*Update*The Manager response was quick. He called me personally the next morning and we discussed the miscommunication that took place. I really appreciated that. My issue now appears to be resolved. The heart of Jackson Chevrolet might still be there.

RE: Service area: It took WAY too long to do an oil change & tire rotation. I arrived 20 minutes early for my 10:15am appointment, was not able to check in until exactly 10:15am. (there were 3 other customers in the waiting area either checking in their vehicles or picking up their vehicles.) I was not checked out until WELL past 1145am. I sat and physically watched my vehicle up in the air for at least 30 minutes with no one working on it, not sure what the delays were or if the service area was just short staffed because it was a Saturday? The best part was that it was free maintenance, so, theres that. But I sure wont be getting maintenance from yall in the future.

This business ran an ad on Facebook looking for interest in a sale. I noted that I was interested and laid out all my criteria and qualifications. The business messaged me and informed me of their procedure and asked when Id like to set up an appointment.I informed them that I was not interested in one of their new cars, and that their used lineup did not contain a vehicle I was interested in, and as a result I would have to pass.I then typed another message saying that if they do happen to get one of 2 models in, I would be interested in buying it. When I tried to send that message, I found that I was blocked.To block someone because they are not interested in your current deal is bad business, speaks fathoms about the quality of their business, and warranted this review - which will not be taken down under any circumstances.NOBODY should shop here.Edit: the reply from the dealership here is untrue. I was blocked from the page and did no blocking of my own. The dealership is lying to protect the conduct of their marketing company. Reach out to me through Google and I can provide proof.

Key just took this over.So i can rate my experience on individuals, please see the following.5 Stars to the service department ( Dave)1 Star rating for Key Chevrolet Lack of communication and willingness to accommodate a current customer.Key Chevrolets customer support and ability to diagnose and fix a problem is top notch. I purchased my vehicle during the transition from Jackson Chevrolet to Key Chevrolet. I have had multiple problems with wind noise in the cab, Broken door panels and water in the headlights. Keep in mind this is a 2019 3500 Silverado, that i owned for around 3 months. All of the problems stated were fixed within a reasonable time frame. All together about 3.5 weeks without my truck. During this time, i was provided with a loaner car at no charge. I received DAILY PHONE CALLS from the mechanic working on my truck. Dave the shop Foreman/ Mechanic was unbelievable. You can tell he is a seasoned Technician that know his way around GM vehicles. Dave worked his butt off trying to locate the wind noise in my cab, eventually it was found and fixed. Ask for Dave if you need something diagnosed or fixed. I wouldnt go to anyone else.The service department went above and beyond my expectations. Unfortunately i cant say the same for the sales dept. When i originally purchased this truck it was still Jackson Chevrolet. I found it very easy and less stressful dealing with the used car manager Matt. Matt was very generous on my two trade ins. No BS or back and forth too much. Jackson made money on the trades, as did I. unfortunately it’s no longer like this.Now fast forward to Key Cars owning this place. During my 3.5 week wait without a truck, i had to rent and borrow a 1 ton vehicle to tow various equipment around. The 1500 Silverado and small SUV loaner car could not handle the load. After doing this two times i contacted Matt and Andre(New Used Car Manager) to see what kind of deal i can get on a new truck thats on their lot. While i was dropping off my truck for the third time, i found the truck i wanted and asked for a trade in price on my 3 month old Silverado. Knowing all well and good im going to take a hit on it, i asked Andre to see if GM would cover any of the cost since i lost money not having my 1 ton Silverado for an extended period of time. Long store short, GM would not cover any money lost in the rental of a truck and Key Chevrolet didnt want to absorb any cost either, as they said i purchased the truck from Jackson. after receiving this information I still was willing to purchase the new Truck from them and asked again how much they would give me for my truck... Still no answer. All i got was its hard to price a 3 month old truck.. I asked again... No answer... See the pattern here?Update: I received a call shortly after this original post offering over 10k less than what I paid for the truck a couple months prior.So Key Chevrolet lost out on a $50k Truck sale and a $40K Traverse sale.Unfortunately the small family owned dealership is no more. If you need service Go there! If you see something on their lot that you have to buy,, Go somewhere else and ask for a swap !!!!Update as of today. Both headlights replaced, wind noise gone. All thanks to Dave Shop Foreman in service.

If I was able to rate this company with zero stars I would. First making a appointment and confirming it on a day that they were closed. There is no communication when it comes to waiting for a phone call back. The Finance Manager appears to be very lazy instead of doing his job. I guess if you consider laying back in your chair with feet on desk on his cell phone for over a hour productive. I would not recommend anybody to this dealership.

I can’t say enough good things about the experiences I’ve had here. I’ve had a very unusual issue with my car that took a lot of time, patience, and several visits to the service department to find. Paul is meticulous, and goes the extra mile to troubleshoot every possible avenue that may be the culprit, not ruling anything out before checking. Shylock and Nick have been amazing and helpful each visit and provided me with loaner cars to get to work while they got to the bottom of the issue. The first time I brought the car in just about everything had gone wrong that week and I assumed I’d be carless, frustrated and anxious the second I walked in. Well, I walked out confident they were going to help me and be there until the problem was solved. The compassion, respect, and genuineness I’ve received is invaluable. Terrible place to go. Sales department is pushy and if you don’t want to sign the papers for a new car that day then they don’t want you. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. Stay away from this place. Executive chevy in Wallingford is the place to go.

Paul Koerner is the best. Just attended a seminar on the all new C8 Corvette. Just an incredible amount of detail and knowledge for a car that hasnt even hit the showroom floors yet. Paul is very approachable and enjoys sharing his knowledge with other Corvette enthusiasts like myself. Key Chevrolet is a 1st class organization as well for allowing Paul to give these seminars. and providing hospitality in the way of complimentary food and beverage. Highly recommended for your next car purchase (Corvette or otherwise!) and always for service, simply the best. Jackson Chevrolet started off great to work with but that quickly changed. Bought a car from them in December and I would never, ever go back or recommend. They dont stand behind their customers, they are extremely cheap and their customer service is terrible. I do not recommend buying a car from them. There are dealerships out there that stand behind their words- Jackson is NOT one of them.

Went to buy a truck. The sales rep was helpful, but the manager is another story. He let me walk out without buying the truck or even trying to work with me. 2 days later they drop the price by another $505. I currently have a truck that was going to trade in but not give it to him, like he almost wanted. I would never go back!!! and the Truck I wanted to buy needs tires but he tells me they are legal and if I wanted he would give me a good deal on new tires. Really?. This truck has been in their lot for over a year!! Good luck with it!!

I brought my Hummer H3 in to resolve an open recall item. The dealership took the time to evaluate the entire vehicle for other items that might need to be addressed. Since this is an older car, I really appreciate the fact that they did that. My service associate, Mark was very helpful. I will be back again soon to address the other open issues.
