Lawrence Gibson, by telephone with me, offered extraordinary service as I attempted to acquire new mattresses, a frame and their delivery for my elderly mother from across the country. He retrieved her previous account from a prior software system, explained comparable product names with those bought previously, detailed warranty and exchange policies and cited a very workable price. Since the mattress cover could not be delivered with the mattresses and frame, Lawrence said it could be mailed. Familiar with the retirement center where my mother lives, however, he even offered to drop off the cover himself one day! Lawrence was personable, good humored, and a delight to talk with. He put me at ease and truly made my day! I highly recommend Mattress Warehouse and this fine employee.

Myself & my fiance, Doug, visited Ritchie on Friday really just browsing at mattresses. Ritchie did not pressure us into purchasing anything, we really liked that. We were looking for a firm mattress, we were shown several and we ended up buying a mattress. The mattress was really kind of out of our price range, however, the store offers 0% interest which was awesome that were we able to take advantage of and buy the mattress. Ritchie made it possible for the mattress to be delivered the very next day. Overall we were extremely happy with the service we received at this store and we will be telling our friends and family to visit here in the future. Ritchie was an excellent employee who helped us out tremendously and we really appreciate it. Thank you Ritchie!

This was the first place we visited to look for a mattress. Glad we stopped here first. Brian our salesperson was very helpful & knowledgable and worked with my parents who are seniors in finding the right bed. He was patient as they tried out different beds. Brian really cares about his customer because in the end once he really understood their needs, we realized we only needed a mattress for their bed. Not only did he assist with the bed but helped them order a replacement remote & installed it as they were going from 2 twins to a king mattress. Really appreciate all the support & help Brian provided. Pity for me as I live in Connecticut. I would much prefer to go back here!!!Tom W

My issue isn’t the price of the mattress, the quality, or the delivery. My issue is with the dishonesty of the two sales associates working the day I came in, Gary and Kitty. I chose to finance my mattress and was told I could finance it as a loan as I did not want a revolving line of credit by getting a credit card. They “called” the district manager who assured them I could finance as a loan instead of credit card and they in turn gave me their word I would not be getting a credit card. Now, I have an unwanted credit card, and when I called the store and verbally confronted Gary, he placed sole blame on the other associate, Kitty. He aggressively called me sir as he tried to avoid blame and explain to me that I “just don’t understand”. I requested a call from the district manager, and now that 5 days have passed, I’ve decided to write a review. Avoid mattress warehouse in Middletown at all cost. Telling whatever lie you need to tell to make a sale is underhanded and morally wrong. There’s still the possibility of me returning the mattress and receiving a full refund. This way they’ll get a chargeback on their commission. Along with this, I’ll be sending my complaint to the better business bureau as well.

Ritchie was the salesperson who helped me today. He was kind, listened to what I wanted, and did not pressure me into something I didn’t want or could not afford. I found my shopping experience pleasant and Ritchie gave me an excellent deal.

Bought a mattress there for 1500 saw it on sale for 999 3 weeks later got pissed called mattress warehouse. They didnt even blink just said yup you paid a lot more, give us 5-10 days youll get the difference debited to the card you used. very happy with our decision to purchase here!

I give this store No stars at all! We were told that we could exchange our daughters mattress for comfort and it took over a month and a half, several visits to the store and several phone calls to have the exchange happen. They then sent an email at 11pm stating they would be there the next day. Luckily someone was there at the house. However, the driver was rude, broke a plant on the way out with the mattress. He put the mattress on the bare driveway, then stated there was a stain (size of a nickel) and that he was not doing the exchange. He then left the mattress on the driveway and left without giving us a number to contact. In addition, we had ordered a twin mattress and was told that we had picked up the bed when we had not. This store is the worst and the company is terrible as well, because they allow poor customer service. Dont use them!

Went into the middletown store knowing i was looking for a new bed and new pillow, as soon as i walked in i was greated by both salesmen mike and brian, mike was the one that helped from begining to end with getting my husband and i set up to see what the best bed would be for us to the final sale not once did we feel pressured to buy anything got a great bed amd pillow at a great price, store was clean and organized

I called them twice to find out when my bed would be delivered. Both times they told me their system was down and they would call me back, which of course they didnt. Bed took well over 6 weeks to be delivered and they refused to take my old bed and frame even though it was part of the purchase price. When i called to complain they told me it was because it wasnt on the delivery ticket and they would see what they could do. Terrible customer service.
