Id give them 0 stars if I could. GM is unattentive to his surroundings, and employees are always on their phones. One cashier is rude and dismissive, the other is inappropriate towards minors. Warwick or Narragansett is the better WM to shop at.Best of luck!,a former employee ❤

I found everything I was looking for and walked the whole store with no sales person pressure which I totally enjoyed. If I had had any questions there was plenty of people to ask.

The employees there are amazing. Everyone is so nice and kind and understanding. This is definitely the place to come for your boating needs.

Well laid out. Lots of soft goods - thats what I shop for, but I know their hardware dept is knowledgeable about all the sailing gadgets, line, and accessories. Clean, too.

Rude sales lady. I asked if they offered a military discount and she scowled and was extremely rude. I would not recommend this place at all.

Really awesome store in Newport

I found the store to be clean and the staff to be friendly, informative, and helpful.

I called this store to reserve some parts (3 Lewmar halyard blocks @ $50 each). Because I would not be able to pick them up for a little over a week, the store required me to pay in advance in order to have the parts held. No problem, thats a reasonable policy. I paid over the phone, and my money was taken no problem. But when I arrived to pick up my parts, they were mysteriously missing (obviously sold to someone else). Nothing whatsoever has been done to make this right. I am stuck waiting for parts to arrive from other stores so that I can buy them. Its been a week since I attempted to pick the parts up, and no replacements have arrived yet. Meanwhile, I am behind schedule on my cruise because I am stuck here waiting on parts that HAVE BEEN PAID FOR SINCE AUG 11. Truly terrible practice at this store location.

This place is great. Nice variety and always plenty of stock. The employees are friendly and welcoming. However, i think they may be slightly ubderstaff with how long ypu have to wait to check out of its vusy. Other than that good spot to find gear.

Theres is a charming and extremely knowledgeable chap named David there who was so helpfull..He helped us find all the various screws, bolts, and washers we required..

This business was so very kind by allowing us all who were partaking in the Police Parade to use there restrooms. I personally will never forget it and I made sure I went back to purchase something from this business. In todays society so many people dont reach out to do what they can to help others and that day this business did just that! A big thank you to them!

This is a great store. They have everything you need and if they dont they get it for you pronto. The sailing hardware department is well laid out and well stocked. One guy there, Will, is super. He know the gear, he knows his stuff and will always point you in the right direction.

I know why West Marine will go out of business. Their return policy is antiquated and products severely overpriced.

Very low on stock due to covid-19. Otherwise THE PLACE FOR ALL BOATENG ENTHUSIASTS!!! I also go there for camping supplies and Yeti gear.

Great store. It has a lot of stuff. I got some life jackets of different sizes and technology.

I usually just get fishing attire there but from what Ive seen, if you own a boat they probably have what youre looking for. Just walk in & youll see what I mean. As for clothing, its a bananza of things to choose from. Not just t-shirts, but t-shirts & short that protect you from the sun. Thats essential when your on the water a majority of the day. They also sell kayaks & fishing gear so if its water related they should have it.
