I got my work done at ProTech automotive and was not satisfied. I went for a oil change and there were oil stains inside my cars. I open my hood and guess what I found. Fresh oil splash everywhere under the hood. That’s not the only problem. Everyone on Yelp is saying all this positive stuff but one problem, they are white. I was treated poorly and the front desk woman was rude. They are bias toward minorities. I read another review about this happening to another person of skin color.

Pro Tech is a wonderful locally owned shop. Jamie in the office is knowledgeable and explains everything in full details. They gave lots of information about work that should get done soon as well as estimates but did not pressure me to do it immediately. A lot of the suggested work needs to be done through my original car dealer due to warranty issues, but they were patient while looking at the issue I brought the car in for (tire balance and alignment issues). It is good to know that we have a local shop we can rely on for smaller problems when we cant get to the dealer. They are a little pricey, but worth it for the quality of service.

I have been going here from when I use to work for a company in the area. Great people great prices I drive from bristol just so I can get my car fixed its worth the drive and experience. Will always come here for major repairs.

I had the worst experience when I came in this joint. The front desk lady had a attitude and the man did not want to listen to what want done on my car. Should I mention that I am African American. The owners change into nice and happy owners when a white couple came in. Do not come to this shop to get your car fixed because it’s the worst place

I was recommend to do outer tie rods at a different shop but I came to ProTech to get my work done on my hyundai. Not only was the service terrible, I went to get my oil change by a friend and he lets me know my caliper bolt is stripped and sticking out. ProTech was the last shop to work on my car and I can’t believe they let me drive my car like that.

Love ProTech! These people are friendly, professional, do great work, and extremely trustworthy. You feel like you are part of their family. Don’t hesitate to give them your business they are awesome!

We got 4 RT43s put on. The price was comparable to box stores. Id rather give my money to a local business so we went w ProTech. Everyone was a pleasure to speak with and kept me up to date when things ended up taking a little longer than quoted ( happens in the mechanic world ). I think I just found my new local mechanic!

I called to make an appointment to get new brakes. I had a slight squeal which I thought was the brake indicator telling me the pads were low. When I stepped on the brakes they would sometimes also squeal so I was convinced I needed brakes. Jamie said they will do a brake inspection and then call with the results and what they recommended.A short time later I got a call with the explanation that actually the brakes and rotors were perfectly fine. The squealing was from rust built up around the edge of the rear right rotor.I was convinced I needed new brakes when I dropped off my vehicle. They easily couldve taken advantage of that and said I do need brakes and done the job anyway even though I didnt need it.....but they didnt. There was no pressure do any repairs at all. I was only charged for the brake inspection which was a drop in the bucket compared to paying for an entire brake job.They have earned my trust and I will certainly be doing business with them again in the future.

Worst auto shop in ct. do not go to this place unless you want your car to get messed up. I went in for a oil change and left with a loose oil plug and a puddle of oil in my drive way.

I walked in to get a simple slow leak checked out on a Thursday and has hit with you have to make an appointment and Im looking into next week maybe Tuesday. Needless to say I took my business else where back to hamden with my go to tire shop, in and out in about 15mins vs 5 days. Wont ever stop here again! Thanks but no thanks Jamie :/

I shopped a few other businesses for the cost to install certain 4 new tires. ProTech beat the competition (including Town Fair Tire and Personal Auto Care) by several hundred dollars, so I thought I would give PTA my business this time.Well! Let me tell, they will have my business ALL THE TIME!!!Jamie was absolutely fantastic to work with. She is personable and very much wants to ensure you have a great experience in her shop. I was very pleased with the communication during the day about the progress on my vehicle. No guessing games about expected time of completion. I was dropped off by a friend for my pick-up and it happened to be a little early so I had a comfy seat in the clean waiting area. During this time, Jamie made a call to a customer to provide him with a progress update. It seemed like the customer kept asking the same question and Jamie managed the call with patience and care during a very busy time in the shop. She has superior customer service skills. The shop closed at 5pm, but I took note of several who stayed late to help finish things up with a car that was unexpectedly towed in. This group seems like a great team!I will be back for the great prices and fabulous experience!!!This is an unassuming place you can easily miss while driving down South Main, but good things are happening inside!!

I was referred to protech about 7 years ago. I needed a tire for my trailer and they were the best price around. I have three vehicles and three trailers and it takes a lot to keep them safe on the road. Matt and his team have been great in helping me do that at a fair price. I now bring my vehicles there for service as well as buying my tires. It didn’t take long to form a great working relationship with Matt and Jamie. . After a little while that working relationship turned into a friendship. Jamie understands customer service and is always available and friendly. They are always honest and fair. If they can’t perform a service that I need, they tell me. Jamie and Matt are a great team and I will continue to support their business.

I have been using ProTech Auto ever since they opened on S. Main, Middletown, CT. So,for as far as having my vehicles serviced and maintained, I ALWAYS stop in at ProTect Auto and 9 out of 10 times they fix my pickup truck.

Overpriced . I used these guys when they wete Ken Merino and as Protech. I had my AC fixed on one car for 1500 bucks and it lasted a year. It started leaking from a piece they over tightened instead of replacing. I had them fix a sunroof that was slughish, it cost me 100 bucks and they said it works but dont use it. Poor communication, poor workmanship, way overpriced.

Don’t bring your car here! Jamie got upset that I cancelled a job on my car and told me she could no longer do any service with me in the future for that. Very unprofessional!!!

Tried getting an explanation of work performed on my friends vehicle not only did they talk in circles but when I asked a simple question of what was needed to fix the car they said they didnt know,In my assumption they were just replaceing parts not knowing if it would fix the problem or not, I wouldnt go back there and I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone,Way overpriced and horrible customer service
