This place was great. I got a piece of metal stuck in my eye. It was late and they stayed open later to get me in. The staff was excellent and the doctor was great. They even got me a follow up a couple days later first thing. I would recommend this place because of the staff and doctor.

The staff is extremely friendly and polite. I have a large family and they always manage to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable. I really love the fact that they dont make you wait months for an appointment. I always refer my family and friends. Keep up the good work!!!

Very thorough exam by Dr. Coalter. I thought I knew my eyes before but he told me more about then than anyone has. The front desk lady was bubbly and quick to help and the person who sold me my glasses had excellent taste! 10/10 will be back

I recently went in to MyEyeDr for my exam and glasses. I was so pleased with my services in the office. The team was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I love Dr. Coalter and can tell he is an expert in the field. I will definitely be returning with my family.

I was sprayed in the face with Lysol after I was put in a dark room for my eyes to dilate. The Dr. was Awesome his staff is not. They lied to me about the transition lenses. Made me put back the frams I wanted cause they said my insurance couldnt cover them with the transition. SMH LIES. To bad cause he was a great eye Dr.

BE WARNED!!!!! If you have insurance please do not go here. I was charged isane prices today for eye exams. I have been wearing glasses since i was two and contacts for the last 20 years. I went today and was charged 107.00 on top of what my insurance covered which was $232.00 for just the exams. I also had my daughter with me and I was charged 122.00 on top of what my insurance payed which was 246.00. Apparently the comprehensive exam is 175.00, the contact lens exam is 114 for spherical or 144 for toric lens exam, and then it is 40.00 for the refraction exam. I am still a little confused as to what the comprehensive exam covers. I also was there for three hours, longest I have ever been at an eye doctor visit. Both my daughter and I had appointments. I am very unsatisfied with their prices and I want to save someone else their hard earned money. Between my insurance and myself we payed them 688.00 for two eye exams, that is not including contacts or glasses, JUST the exams. I started to call around when i got home to check prices and Meijers optical has way better prices. A comprehensive exam is 70.00 and for a comprehensive, contact, and glasses exam it is 125.00. I could have saved myself 438.00 had I known what a rip off they would be. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Your better off opening the window and howling at the moon than to go here! I had an appointment change 3 times in 2 days. Then a robo call to inform me my appointment was now in Chesterton rather than M.C. I ended up with a answering service in South Carolina. Hahahaha good luck running a business like that . Theres certainly no lack of eye doctors.

I cant see far away and had to keep removing my glasses to see close up. The doctor was so great, and I am so happy with my new glasses which are seamless bifocals, and fit me so wonderful!

The receptionist charged my card 4 different times. I had to wait an extra 3 weeks and after my insurance covered their part I still needed to pay an extra $400 to get my lenses scratch free. This was my first time spending extra to make sure I got the best glasses possible. They are not scratch free and are worse then my free pair of glasses I got. Horrible customer service from her. The doctor was actually really cool though. I just feel like I got scammed.

I am a new patient to Dr. Coalter, and was very happy with the exam and the service I received from him and his employees. I would definitely recommend their services.

Dr. Coalter is the worst I eye doctor I have ever saw. Both my glasses and contact prescriptions were wrong and he never admitted it. I started seeing another doctor at another MyEyeDr. and that is how I found out (after complaining to Dr. Coalter for months).

If it wasnt for Joe I wouldnt waste time or effort at this place.joe is a 5 star but rest of staff is below average at best. Was promised sunglasses 7to 10 days now going on 4 weeks and cant get a straight answer after paying up front. Go to sears or duneland.
