Called on the phone away from my computer asking for a ballpark on splicing 1” diamond braid. They could not help and asked me to email them. I asked agaIn for an estimate; besides cutting line to size these guys should be able to give an idea on a simple splice. Called West Matine after. Quick quote for $20.

I cruise through here every few years, doing small yacht stuff, and these guys are by far the best place to load up on line and chain. Always helpful folk behind the desk, a big warehouse and a nice showroom floor, with some discounts on cut-off and end of spool line/chain in the showroom. Best place for yacht cordage Ive found in the USA, nothing better in Annapolis/Baltimore, Ft. Lauderdale, San Fransisco Bay area, or Seattle. Straight up 27th from Dinner Key Marina, or out the airport roads from Miami Beach.
