Google please allow the options of 0 stars! PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE! The owner was VERY RUDE to my husband, he never gave us an estimate at first. My husband took our lawnmower to get fixed, my husband told him all the stuff he DID NOT want him to do (including an oil change) and sure enough, he did them anyway and wanted to charge us $130 for everything (including what we told him NOT to do) when the lawnmower costs us $100. I think this guy is overcharging everyone so they dont end up paying so he gets to keep the equipment to sell it.

I contacted William (owner) at Tropical two times reference my riding lawn mower repair for pick up. I have a Home Depot warranty. I was on hold for approximately 10-15 minutes on both calls.He stated that the warranty orders submitted by Home Depot was incomplete. The pick up authorization for $100-$200 was not on the order.He further stated the following:That is not his job to call Home Depot and advise them that the pick up was not included, that I’m supposed to do that. He stated that that’s what happens when you buy the lawnmower from Home Depot. He said that if I would have bought it directly from him it would not have been a problem. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand does. He stated that he was very busy. I noticed that his voice got louder on the phone and he barely allowed me to talk to him. I suggested that since he has an agreement with Home Depot that it may be beneficial for him to discuss it directly with them and correct the issue. I was very disappointed with the outcome of my discussion with William. I have used Tropical for several of my past riding lawn mower repairs and I have always received very good service. I hope he re-considers and calls Home Depot warranty to correct any issues in order for future customers to have a better customer experience.

I wish I could put 0 start, Please do not go there.My girlfriend had an old lawn mower that needed a tune up. This place did one without giving us an estimate and when we picked it up, they charged us $129 if I remember correctly. After many arguments, the owner said to leave it there if we do not want to pay and he will sell it for $100, I should have done that as after only a few weeks it was very hard to start and stay one and now it does not even work at all. Please if you choose to use them, and I hope you dont make sure to get a written estimate. The owner does not care about you. Thank you and good luck to find a good and honest place, we live in Miami

Actually a very professional business. Worked with Willie, could not ask for better service,and no one was trying to make you leave $60 deposits for no reason. Just a cool and relaxed place and by the way stay away from Degen,s in Miramar.

I communicated with the store over the phone to make sure that the take care of the brand of my generator under warranty, as this shop is 45min from me. I arrived to the shop and he informs me that my product is not from a good brand and the I shouldnt have purchase that, he followed by saying that he will not take care of my warranty and they do not have an agreement. I call the manufacturer and they get in contact with him so authorize the drop off and he look at me and told he will straight up not going to work on my generator (I believe this was the owner). Very poor attitude. I would not visit this store ever again.

Horrible...first and last time I will ever service anything in that store. Buy your parts and walk out. Zero attention to customer service, the owner walks around with an attitude like hes the greatest thing on earth since sliced bread. I took my generator to repair prior to the storm, dropped it off and was told I was #3 on the list. I went there three times to see what was taking so long after receiving no calls from them, long story short, I picked up my equipment 2 weeks after it was dropped off...2 weeks and I was #3 . Never again.

I saw a lot of bad reviews and I was a little scare of this place. But nothing like the people said happens. People here were supper nice. They have a lot of equipment to see and try before you buy. They do repairs but they take some time since they have a LOT of work and thats because they are good at it. Go there and see for yourself.BTW users leaving bad reviews just have 1 or 2 reviews given in the lifetime. Its super rare right? Seems that some competition is not playing fair

Worst place ever. Put me on hold for over 30 minutes and closed shop without answering or apologies. This is a Sears service center that Sears should dump. Theyve had my brand new saw for warranty work for several weeks and nothing yet. Dont even answer phone. Should have not dropped it off there. BEWARE THIS PLACE SUCKS.Deserve Zero Stars.

I have been landscaping in South Florida for a few years now and every time i bring my equipment for repair, it takes a month or more for them to look at my equipment and give estimate on whats wrong and how much etc. The owner always says a week but its just a lie to get you out of the store. They are always a month or more behind. So dont bother bringing your equipment to these crooks unless you can wait a month or more for them to take a look

This shop has nearly the worst customer service that can be found in the city of Miami. Customers are spoken down to and treated as if they are wasting the time of whatever employee they are speaking to (especially the manager/owner). After several visits to this shop receiving the same poor service, I finally brought to the manager/owners attention that I didnt like how I was being treated. The managers response? He boasted that he was a good business man and had plenty of business and basically made it clear that my business wasnt important. Theres also no punctuality when it comes to their service either. I simply asked for an estimate and after I had paid for it, I was repeatedly given the run-around about why I had not received the estimate yet. Finally when I said I wanted my money back after still having not been given a simple estimate, the manager basically hung up on me. This is a terribly run business as far as customer service goes. I definitely do not recommend this place if you expect to be treated as a human being and not a nuisance or dog.

Purchased my new Sthil Kombi weed whacker and attachments there on 3/26/16. Had a great experience and the staff was very helpful. They even priced matched ads I found online. Kinda shocked to see the bad reviews as I had a very pleasant time there, and went there before reading these reviews.

Stay away from these incompetent crooks! I took them my grass trimmer for repair, they kept it for 3 months, not ready yet, not ready yet.. I finally decided to go pick it up and was told they could not repair it! They never even attempted repair and never bothered to call me! These clowns should be fined for misleading customers. The owner also seems to be a bitter old man. Take your business elsewhere!

Hey by the way i left my pressure washer there an i was told it was going to be $35 for the estimate and it was gonna take two weeks becuase of the hurrican which is understandable. When i when back two an a half week later pressure washer was just left there unatendable . There excuse was i did t pay the $35 . Which is bs becuase thats not what i was told besides if that was true why take the pressure washer to begin with. Hmm maybe u guys should learn some customer service . The owner of the business william torrents is a true number one a-hole. First of all there customer service is worse than anything I have ever came in contact with. When you come into owner willys store door chimes very loud 4 times, so there is no doubt that they cant tell that you are there. no other customers were in the store at this time. only little willy... playing on his computer looks at me and looks away as if i was wasting his time. I counted it 4mins 32sec. later after i moved a stool around at the counter, then he asked can i help you? same incident as a week ago when they called and said it was ready to pick-up. Today I had just spoke to sears from the parking lot of the store to see if my repair was ready for pick-up today? because of little willy said a week ago he did not know this was a sears warranty repair and now he would have to get the approval from sears before releasing it to me. Sears said yes it was ready but the store is charging you for a spark plug & air filter $13.65 funny i told the customer service i had just replaced those item a month ago!! the warranty repair was for a rebuild carburetor kit. going to retrieve my craftsman edger a very bad experience from that ripoff of a store. The poor people that have to work under this A-HOLE must be fools that cant get a job anywhere else. Very disrespectful and extremely rude. There website states: Voted #1 in Customer Service and Value THATS THE BIGGEST LIE EVER TOLD!! they are not even rated by the better business bureau Not worth the time and headache you get. If I were able to give this place a negative stars I would. YOUVE BEEN WARNED DONT GO TO THEM FOR A REPAIR. IF YOU GET THE SAME TREATMENT AS OTHERS ON HERE REMEMBER I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!

Horrible experience. Owner was very loud, rude, and pretentious. Terrible customer service for a local shop. Would never recommend. Find another shop for repairs or save yourself the time and trouble and buy a completely new piece of lawn equipment somewhere else.

Bad customer service, took two days to get a quote that took 1/2 hour to get after I called to find out what was wrong. Took two weeks after quote to get fixed, when I picked up, something else was wrong and they could not call me to let me know something else was wrong, I wound up picking up a broken machine and wound up fixing myself in order to use it.,
