I purchased a fantastic Fender custom Shop strat directly from Miami Guitars. I am on the other side of the country. All my gear transaction these days are purchased over the Internet without visiting the store. It’s the little things that count even more.First, the guitar was packaged with utmost care and protection. Doubled box the hardshell case!Miles and the crew were particularly attentive shipping the strat for a precise delivery window (I was away from home for a few days and there were some massive storms) and answering emails. Any questions I had we’re promptly answered via email usually within 12 hours.Caution: Relic haters, stop here and don’t look at the photo. 😅

Communication was a bit rough at first. However, after working out some kinks and lining up a specific model (EBMM JP15 Blood Orange) the process was smooth. Received the guitar in excellent condition and it sounds and plays amazingly. Couldnt be happier. Thanks!

They ship guitars to cities all over the world mainly China, which is against US guitar manufacturers rules. This place is owned/ run by a foreign person in China. No management in the US. Owner insults his employees and uses another persons SSN to put himself on the payroll while living abroad. This foreign owned business is as shady as it gets. Mainly a way to launder money from China. Consider perhaps supporting your real local shops / chain stores instead.

This place does not exist. I drove 30 minutes because I heard good things. The pictures on the website and Google are from an old location. I walked in and its an abandoned room (see picture). There was one woman saying they no longer do repairs or sell guitars. I dont know what it used to be but now its a scam or some kind of front. Stay away!

To echo the sentiments of other reviewers, I was originally unsure about ordering a guitar to be shipped internationally. After reading through the reviews I decided to take the plunge.I had payment issues happening on my end, but Miles was very patient and did everything he could to help during our email exchange. Two and a half days after sending payment and close to a 5000km trip across the border into Canada, I had my new guitar in my hands in perfect order. Payment issues aside, this purchase couldnt have gone any smoother.

Im a beginner level player with an entry level Yamaha guitar, my guitar needed to be re-strung and setup as it had become very difficult to play, Chip was amazing, he really took his time to explain what I needed, and even gave me some very helpful practice tips. They adjusted and re-strung my guitar in less than 24 hours, even though they had said 48 hours originally. These guys are such a pleasure to do business with, and they really know their craft. Once my playing improves, and decide to upgrade, I will definitely be purchasing my next instrument from them.

Needed a guitar in Miami, saw all the 5 star recommendations and knew this was the place. Small, but wide selection of guitars, all price ranges, but the customer service is 6 stars. At least Chip gets 6 stars. No pressure on the sale as he pulled down guitars in my price range. Felt like I was home, but I wasnt - I was in Miami needing a guitar to leave at my daughters place. If you are within 15 miles of this location, you should experience it yourself. You might check out the mega warehouse approach, but there is NO substitute for attentive customer service. Cool shop. It makes me proud of Miami to find a place like this where they sell all top-line instruments, but without being in a (horrible) Guitar Center setting. I was apprehensive before going because most smaller guitar shops in Miami only have knock-off/no name brands, but these guys have American-line Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, etc. Really hope they succeed. Seem to be off to a good start...

Im an old dog and mighty particular about guitars and the folks from whom I buy them. Id been looking for a particular model for a while and was fortunate to stumble upon these folks on one of the on-line vendor portals. Gave these folks a call.....a human being actually answered the phone. Always a good start. And, the fellow was knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to chat about instruments. All too often, some of the bigger shops just do a quick evaluation on whether you are worth talking to and then bump you off. Not so with Miami-Guitars. The service was natural, pleasant, professional and, bottom line.....I bought a guitar on the first call. That was late on a Monday afternoon. By the end of business, they had already packaged it, arranged pickup by FedEx and sent me a tracking number. Forty-eight hours later, Im wailing away on my new ax. Came to the shop to get my old beginner guitar tuned. I was able to get my guitar back in less than 30 mins. Miles (the owner) and the technician were very friendly. They have a large selection of guitars ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. And even more expensive guitars at the back! I hope my skills improved to make the investments in those guitars worthwhile!

I was there with the intention to buy a Les Paul... the experience was brutally bad. This will give you an idea:1- me asking questions about Les Pauls. Yeah pretty basic questions but anyways, the guy tells me “dude, there is a lot of info about this guitars on line. You should research before coming in the store”2- they ask me to remove my marriage ring! ... it May damage the guitar.3- didn’t let me plug the guitar to an ampI end up buying the Les Paul from Walt grace Vintage.

My experience with Miami-Guitars has been nothing but extraordinary. Back in Latin America, where I come from, I was struggling with just getting a budget for a certain guitar model. After waiting for months with no response, I decided to email Miami Guitars (almost at midnight), not only for the price of a Fender Stratocaster (American Professional), but some special customizations like replacing original for Lace Sensor Gold pickups. I got their response in less than 5 minutes and after 15 minutes everything was arranged. Then I travelled to Miami and got the customized guitar as settled. Nothing but gratitude to Miami-Guitars. Highly recommended and surely my next guitar will be purchased there.

I’ve always to been to guitar center since day 1 for all my music gear and instrument needs. But after visiting this local place I will forever come here first to shop for a guitar or pedal even an amp before I go to guitar center. I bought a fantastic Martin guitar in this store. He was in doubt about the model and the sound of the instrument. The store manager, Chip, paid full attention to my questions and we tested many models. Chips knowledge, the concern to ensure an incredible purchase and the selection of instruments is spectacular. Do not expect a department store full of options - Miami Guitars is much more a curator of the best instruments youll find in Miami. In the end I even paid less than I imagined on the guitar. If you want intimacy, attention and a relaxed atmosphere, and be taken care of by someone interested (hey, and who speaks Spanish!), Come here.

Today I went to the local, Chip attended me. 10 points, a total genius. Honestly, when I entered I was already prejudiced that I had the appearance of a small local, of not being prepared, but I was positively surprised.As a tourist, my first option was to go to Guitar Center, terrible attention, they dont even greet you when you enter. I was looking for a guitar that is neither Taylor nor Martin but the guys who work there didnt want to offer me anything else.Doing a little research on the internet I found Miami Guitars and it was an excellent experience. I was looking for the Alvarez guitars, they didnt have them, but thanks to Chips patience, knowledge and good disposition, I ended up taking a tremendous Takamine.Prices: I compared the price of the guitar that I took and in Guitar Center it was 80usd more expensive.Conclusion: I recommend this place, excellent attention, and most importantly, GOOD WAVE !!!Greetings.
