This President Supermarket on 62nd has the better breakfast options to choose from. Such as Oatmeal, Grits w/cheese on top, bacon, ham, sausage, 3 different types of scrambled eggs (plain, scramble w/ diced tomatoes, & other w/ diced ham), boiled eggs, potatoes w/ onions & bell peppers, fried chicken wings/shrimp, croquettes, fried cheese & different types of pastries with the flaky crust. Depending on what you get, you can pay less than $4 for full plate of food. This is what I usually get for little under $4. Cheese Grits, potatoes, ham, & a boiled egg. They also bake fresh bread rolls daily.

The peoples that work there the clerks all of them they are so kind thoughtful I love that store

Great prices but the store always smells strange

Staff always nice. The meat department ( those guys are super cool )!! I get the conch take it home and cook it. The HOT FOOD is good!! The previous spanish lady ( mommie so sweet I loved her ) who used to cook the oxtails so FREAKN good!! It felt like I was KID again every time I ate her food!! She can COOK!! Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner!! IDK . . . where she went!! I MISS her WHERE IS SHE?? This was around 2012/ 2013/2014/2015.... Then she was GONE!! My heart was BROKEN!! Ill see what the food is like soon. Love ya Presidente!!

Its alright. Down side : shopping carts are outside make sure to get one before entering rhe store. Also almost always have only 2 xash registers open.

Good Prices

Ok, most likely the fault is mine!I bought peanutbutter.Jiff smooth and natural. They charged me more than the listed price. Asked security specialist to come view the shelf.He did, took it to service counter.They took jar, and searched computer.Gave me the refund of the over payment.Now, I was cutting the line. That was unwanted attention for me.So when the woman gave me the difference and marked the receipt and said have a nice day!I left.You know how disappointed you feel when you want something and realize you wont be having it?They gave me the change difference in the charged price from the shelf, they gave me the receipt, but they kept my peanutbutter!I am livid! But again, its most likely my fault!

9 checkout lanes and only 3 cashiers present. Long lines. Need to hire more cashiers.

This supermarket never has shopping carts. Manager is never available to assist customers. It doesn’t matter what time of day or day, apparently customers are not priority in this place. Very bad services.The City should go and inspect this supermarket. There are older people that cannot walk and need shopping carts and there’s nothing, making shopping experience bad.

WHERE TO BEGIN, for one the staff is RUDE and nasty to people including myself for simply asking one question. The food is no where near fresh, the cold cuts are disgusting and the lines are forever. The one good thing about this place is the hot food made in the back its actually good.

Staff is terribly slow, there is no sense of urgency in this place. And more often than not, they are rude when acknowledging you. Giving them 3 stars because their produce is actually fresh and affordable. Other than that, I’d rather go to Publix and be treated like an actual customer

It reminds me of a flea market where they sell a little bit of everything but nothing is great that they sell nothing looks original there are a lot of flies flying around by the fruit section and yes they do have great sales but if you look at what theyre selling you will understand why its a win-win for their corporation you may end up in hospital from that bad looking meat but hey what can I say we all have our own standards

I just moved by this president supermarket and I will not be back to this store. I arrived at 9:35 after a long day of work. Because of my long hours, I cannot go often but find times to do a little shopping here and there. When I walked up to the electric doors, a security guards, dressed like he was ready to serve in Syria, rudely affronted me, not allowing me to enter the supermarket. I began to confusedly inquire about his actions as he loudly cut me off saying that they were closed. I, without talking as he continued to berade me, looked on my black smart phone to obtain the listed hours from my Google app. I slowly looked up, and I quietly objected and calmy replied to the man, with a huge Napoleon complex, that the listed store hours were between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. He again cut me off saying he didnt care. I tried explaining my predicament and my situation as a blue collar worker with long hours to which he almost just mocked as if my hard work was frowned upon. A seemingly typical attitude in Miami basically ruined my night. While they finally relented after he almost reduced me to mental ruins by the sheer arrogance in his small amount of ability to take power over me, it has ruined my experience with the supermarket. Maybe he was having a bad day and this power trip was a rare occurance, but it seems so much more likely he is comfortable with his obvious and apparent toxic masculinity. His desire to control me and the situation seemed to take leaps and bounds over what a reasonable interaction would have entailed. Having worked in customer service my entire life, it was crystal clear this fragile man never has begun to think about how to address a situation or a person whom he either disdains or simply thinks is a lessor class of human than himself. A long story short, his actions were a massive embarrasment to the supermarket but even more so towards him as it shows his true colors as a human being.

I come to eat here in the hot food area because the food is good and very affordable. I do not appreciate the disrespect, attitude and disregard I have receive from almost every staff in the hot food area and have also witnessed the same toward other patrons. I have purchased plates of food from here over the last few months and everyone there knows what I ask for which is a side of extra gravy in a separate container. I feel as a customer that I should get what I ask for based on what is being served. If I am to be changed extra for this little request then so be it but I should not have to be subjected to a debate because the women there are being lazy and do not want to work. If that is the case then they need to quit and allow people to come work who are appreciative of having a job. These women gossip about you right in your face and because they believe I dont speak their language they feel it is ok. I will be speaking to the manager of this location and if something does not change immediately then I will be reporting this issue to corporate.

This was my very first visit to Presidente Supermarket. After i had been seen by me doctor at the CAC Clinic, i decided to go there to pick up a couple of items that i needed. I had no problem finding what i was looking for. The store was very clean, the isles were clear so i didnt have to worry about stumbling over anything. There were no long lines at checkout so my visit was great.

This is to my surprise one of the cleanest president supermarket Ive entered. Vegetables and fruits are not very good quality...I wouldnt buy there but the rest is fine.Their deli in the back is worth it... ask for the special of the day..its like 4$

Needs better customer service skills. I bought an item from the deli /food center an the lady was slow, talking/gossiping .when she finally helped me, it was as if I done something wrong to herNot cool.....

The prices are good. The only thing I dont like they charge you taxes for cooked (prepared) food this happened when the new management took over.

I dont go too often, but they just need to work on hospitality skills.

Getting my goods was not an issue when I visited this supermarket. Very enough checkout registers open hence check out was fast!

My family shops here. It carries a wide assortment of Caribbean or ethnic Food items; specifically, those you wouldnt find in mainstream stores such as Walmart, Publix or Winn-Dixie. Grocery items are also fairly priced depending on your choices. Meat is inexpensive. Been a customer for many years.

Prices are good on items they carry, but I was not able to find several items I needed.

Cleanliness was not an issue when I visited the supermarket, however there were only two checkout registers open and at least ten customers waiting on each line. Unacceptable.

Its actually expensive for the most part... But it has really good deals on meat most of the time, considering the neighborhood its a convenience to have it as any Walmart/Publix is quite a distance a way. The staff there can be either really nice like your sweet Abuela or really terrible, I saw two cashiers shouting at customers to make them go faster because they complained the cashiers were going too slow but yeah things like that.

Great store, great low. prices, always lots of cashiers & multi service like lottery, utilities, western union, phone cards, coffee, hotmeals,,,almost forget the fruits &veggies from all over the world.

I dont even want to give it the one star. I came to purchase some meat and it was absolutely horrible. Not only did it take quite​ some time to be served. The stench was unbearable. Upon closer observation I found that meat that was supposed to be frozen was tawing out and ultimately spoiling. Hopefully someone reads this and avoids potentially catching salmonella.

First time visiting the store! I waited in line at the customer service counter no rush i just wanted a money order to pay a bill. The young lady behind the counter became very RUDE! after i asked for a M.O. If you dont like your JOB you got options ! Quit. I will never go back for a money order!!!!!!!!

Untidy, pricy, and unfriendly. Ive had to exchange consumable items that were expired with visible mold (if youre not dashing in and out with no thought of purchasing food thats gone bad that is) and dont think youll be treated respectfully as a consumer if you simlpy want an exchange...within the hour...with a reciept and pointing out to them that the remaining shelved items of the same kind are molded and expired too.
