I wanna start by saying that this is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a dive shop and I’ve been to many. I went in a couple weeks ago looking to build a custom gun and these guys had everything I needed. They were extremely friendly and weren’t just trying to sell me something, they offered quality service and honest opinions about which route to go with my build. They had an answer for pretty much every question I had and the most affordable prices I’ve seen yet. I couldn’t happier with the way the gun turned out and the customer service Andrew and JC provided. 10/10

I went to Nautilus Spearfishing because I was looking for a shop that actually had great freedivers and Spearfisherman I could learn from. From the reviews it looked like I might of found my place. When I went in there it had everything you could possible need, but meeting the staff is what I was really looking forward to doing. My philosophy when going into any pro shop is its not just the equipment in the shop, but the people that run it I ended up learning way more then I anticipated from Andrew and had an incredible eye opening conversation with him, then to learn by the end he was the owner of the shop! He never tried to sell me just keep me safe which is exactly what I was hoping for. I could not recommend this shop enough.

There are a few good dive shops in South Florida, and this one one of them... if not the best! The selection of inventory is great, having everything a beginner would need to everything a seasoned spearo would want. Andrew and the guys are super knowledgeable / friendly, and the customer service they offer is outstanding. They will have my business for years to come! oh yeah... theyre also building me a custom gun, who else does that around here? GO CHECK THEM OUT!

The best customer service there is, ordered a gun over the weekend and got back to me early monday saying the gun was out of stock and they hooked me up with another one and gave me a deal too. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else, thanks Andrew

Nautilus spearfishing provides excellent customer service at competitive prices. They are willing to help you find the best product for your needs, in addition to probably having a YouTube video made by Andrew himself to review that product so you know exactly what your getting. I recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth shopping experience, especially in the trying times of COVID 19.

Really helpful, they bent over backwards to help a friend and I out. We had eyes on something simple and realized that I wasn’t nearly prepared well enough for my extended Bahamas trip. I did the free diving level 1 class with Andrew. He is an excellent instructor. Oscar was great as well. I cant wait until I have enough money to sign up for level 2 so I can hit 120ft. Best shop around and best service for spear fishers in the Miami area.

Took my spear gun in and asked for the best bands available for it the nice lady sold me one told me thats all I need went on a spearfishing trip.. the band broke first time loading it chasing a grouper!! So disappointed..

We scheduled a spearfishing charter with a larger group through Nautilus Spearfishing. Andrew went above and beyond to accommodate our group of beginner level fishermen. We exchanged several emails leading up to the trip and he was extremely knowledge of the equipment/permits needed to make the charter enjoyable. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip the week of due to Hurricane Irma. We plan to reschedule and will definitely go through Nautilus again. Thanks Andrew!

I was looking for a new wetsuit to spear in the Pacific Northwest and I had some questions about suit sizing. So I e-mailed Andrew, who was extremely helpful, lightening quick to respond, and very patient in answering all of my questions and getting me in the right size wetsuit. The Nautilus 7mm Mantis Pro Suit I bought fits like a dream and is incredibly warm in 50 degree water. The shipping to Canada was extremely fast and fairly priced! I seriously cannot recommend Andrew and Natutilus Spearfishing highly enough. First rate service and quality products.

Great atmosphere. Very helpful & friendly. They answered all my questions & they dont make you feel dumb for not knowing everything about spearfishing. Quite the opposite. I purchased a wet suit, fins, and the Level 1 free diving course. I had contact with three individuals: Andrew (owner), JC and Oscar; my interactions them occurred at the shop and at the free diving class. This review will address each context.The shop is clean, organized, parking is simple, no one bothers you unless you want them to and there isnt a lot of junk on display. Just quality gear. That the owner has made a decided effort to know each supplier is evident when you talk to him about his products.Generally, all were knowledgeable and projected a helpful, cool and calm approach to advice that was given; all that advice was grounded in passion for the sport and experience.Andrew easily couldve pushed more product at several opportunities, but he didnt. I came to find later everything he said about my old gear, compared to my new gear was correct.FREE DIVING CLASS: Andrews delivery of the classroom session is charismatic and makes the most mundane material seem like a breeze, while emphasizing the most important aspects of the lesson.POOL SESSION: Thanks to my slow uptake, I was able to see just how patient Andrew could be with his direction: this guy doesnt give up on you and wants you to get it. If you ever had a teacher in middle school or high school that you didnt want to disappoint, Andrew is the free diving equivalent.Oscar was an assisting Instructor: his lavish praises do a nice job taking the sting out of all the constructive criticism. He is energetic and though he may be younger than Andrew, you wouldnt know it from his low key, but direct approach.OCEAN TEST: Andrew administered the tests and was assisted by Oscar. Juan Carlo assisted with setting float stations etc... and packed up the gear I purchased the week before. The water was rough and windy and the class was given the option of rescheduling; we went forward.The guys from Nautilus are used to seeing a lot of great weather and I wouldnt have blamed them for being in a bad mood. Instead, they were happy to be there either way. The tests were done efficiently and everything went like clockwork. A failing grade means you come back another day, after more practice, at a nominal fee. For a class grounded in managing the risk with an otherwise dangerous sport, I respect a failing grade that much more. You wont get the SCUBA (no offense to SCUBA Heads) crash course and pass grade that some tourist attractions can be infamous for... for good reason.Each session wrapped up with pointers for everyone and these guys go out of their way to leave everything on a high note. The sport attracts a lot of great athletes and that can be intimidating: these guys wont crush spirit and will show what you need.

I cant say enough positive things about this shop. Andrew and his staff worked with me for weeks picking out the right gear for my move to Belize. I attended the Level 1 Freediving course offered by Andrew and Oscar from Nautilus Spearfishing on October 20-21, 2018. The course is perfectly designed to arm students with the knowledge and real life experience to comfortably and safely dive to up to 66ft. Andrew’s deep knowledge, his experience and his genuine care for his students progress and learning are exemplary. That, coupled with Oscar’s passion and tireless support at every step of the course makes them a great team. The theoretical part of the course takes place at the Nautilus Spearfishing shop, in a corner dedicated to such courses - comfortable and perfectly equipped. The shop is organized and offers everything for spearfishing enthusiasts of all levels. All that said, Andrew and Oscar do not push their product: They are very professional and will give advice on equipment if asked, or if your equipment is unsuitable for freediving. All in all - GREAT EXPERIENCE - I can’t wait to continue my freediving education with the Nautilus Spearfishing team!Sep 2019 update: I just visited the store to get my speargun repaired / upgraded: Albert helped me this time, GREAT advice and very knowledgeable service as always, thank you!

JD was very nice and helpful. however the owner... not so much. only reason theyre in business is probably because its the only spearfishing store in the area.
