Had an amazing experience. The owner goes above and beyond for all of his customers, he even gave us a ride back to our hotel after our course ended late one night since we didnt have a car being from out of state. Me and my fiancé took the Open water diving course and it was amazing. Easy to learn because of the great instructors and we felt more than comfortable after each lesson. Highly recommend them!

Grove Scuba, is the best scuba store with the best instructors. Everyone help me. Not questions ask. An instructor stay with me to finish my e-leaning from 6 pm, time they close pass 11 pm. they gave me a ride home after it. They work with me in their day off. Outstanding snorkel and dive outfitter that offers refreshers, certifications and superb dives at sites offshore south Florida. I have had one pre-pandemic and one post-pandemic experience with Grove two years apart, and both were outstanding. Safety is emphasized and the staff is engaging, organized, and flexible. The owners run a great business, and work well with people of all ages.

We rented gear from here and everything that could go wrong with equipment did. My bcd inflated when I was at the bottom and shot me to the top, my depth gage was at 0ft the whole time, my husbands bcd leaked air the entire time, the mouth piece was either dry rotted or chewed threw by the last diver (luckily the boat we went out with had an extra regulator). When returning items she apologized, stated things were crazy the day before and they packed in a rush. And also that they can’t check everything… in my opinion that’s not good enough when you’re dealing with this hobby. You have to be able to trust your equipment, and I understand things can happen, but it was literally everything possible, and that puts peoples lives at risk.

This shop has everything you need in a super modern studio like environment.There is gear for everyones budget!They have professional gear as well as such good deals that you cant walk out without buying something- the best stuff Ive seen in one shop and the atmosphere is great - just bring your own coffee and enjoy the swankest dive boutique shop Ive seen.They also do classes and trips and have a sister shop in Key Lago- I think its called Silent World

Completed my open water certification this past weekend with Dave. He and the team are great!

Super friendly and helpful team. They try everything to provide you your best time. Had first a refresher pool session where I could take as much time as I need to remember all the skills. Even the boat cancelled the diving tour for this day they made it possible to make another diving tour the next day. I allways felt safe and comfortable.

I completed my open water certification here and the experience was amazing. I couldnt finish the training at first but Grove scuba let me do it another time and the costumer service was great the whole time. David my instructor was very helpful and friendly and patient with me. Thanks to him I could successfully finish my training. I would definitely come back to continue my diving training and I highly recommend Grove scuba.

Grove Scuba is great! They allowed me to do an online course because I couldnt make it to the classroom session and the certification dives were awesome. David is a great instructor, very patient and explains things really well. He also knows all the cool places to see in the dive spots which made the dives all the more fun.

January 22nd: Ive booked my Open Water certification during my holidays and they canceled it without any notice, Ive discovered it 3 days before the first classroom. No compensation proposed for the inconvenience nor acceptable/doable alternative schedule before going back home. Somebody did a mistake of overbooking so I will recommend to be very careful if your time is limited in Miami.

First off, I love the people that work at the shop. So helpful and eager to educate you on scuba diving. Im new to the sport so I started with the PADI open water class. I spoke to Sadie who tuned me onto the complete course and general outline. After passing the classroom portion, went forward to pool and open dive segments. My instructor was Jose. This guy is so knowledgeable and personable that it was a very enjoyable and fun learning experience. I now know some of the staff personally and look forward to visiting the shop.

I had the best experience with Grove Scuba. I completed my PADI training with David and he was top notch. I always felt safe and hes so patient and thoughtful that it made the entire experience so enjoyable. If anyone ever needed extra help during the dives he did everything he could to help us learn the skills we need to become certified. I also bought all of my gear from the shop and had an issue with my mask (wasnt the right size for me) and they easily let me trade it out with another mask that will work better for me, I really appreciated that. Honestly, I wouldnt have changed a thing, definitely highly recommend!

Great shop. They were incredibly accommodating of my complex schedule and fit me in to get my training done in time for vacation. Because of this good service, I decided to get my equipment from them realizing that I would probably pay a premium. WRONG! After buying it, I came home and compared what I paid with the best prices I could find on the Internet and it turns out my loyalty saved me 20% off the best prices I could find anywhere. I look forward to continuing learning about SCUBA from the fine folks at Grove SCUBA.

My wife and Myself started taking the scuba class in a different place, after having a bad experience with another company, we continue our certificate with Grove Scuba. This company made Scuba such an awesome experience. The Owner is a nice guy, and the 2 instructor that we worked with (David and Jose) are awesome ppl, they are so friendly. We couldnt been happier.UPDATE after 3 months: I went this weekend to rent all the equipment (except mask, snorkel and fins) to do scuba and their service and price its the best I have ever found. Keep recommended them

Beware. This is the shop in Miami, FL. They took a huge amount of my daughters money with promises to assist in completing certification then refused to answer the phone to schedule anything for three months straight. They keep telling her the owner is working in the Bahamas and cannot call back. So basically they have our money and gave us nothing at all. We want the records of what was completed and a refund so we can go elsewhere. But they wont respond. They just keep taking local messages and delaying, delaying. How can anybody be so busy as to take ~$500 from someone and then ignore them ... that is, unless its intentional? Any company that engages in this behavior has to be cutting corners everywhere which is not what you want in a dive shop.

I completed Grove Scubas Open Water Diver PADI certification course and received my cert...it wouldnt be right if I didnt give these fine folks my highest recommendation. My instructor was David, who was phenomenally knowledgeable, patient and just a cool person. I cant say enough good things about Davids instruction. This family-owned business is excellent in all regards and Bill, Shelby, Kelly and all the rest of the staff are just the best! I fulfilled a lifelong dream to get PADI certified and know that, thanks to Grove Scuba, I am very well-prepared and excited to see where this awesome sport takes me! This is by far the easiest review I have ever written! I have honestly never been more pleased to put money into something, i.e diving. I typically only write negative reviews, it takes an awful lot for me to take the effort to write something positive, but if there were something greater than 5 stars Grove Scuba would deserve it.In one word Grove Scuba is AMAZING, but because they’re so phenomenal they deserve as many praises as possible. Not only is the store well set up, and consumer friendly, but the website is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing (something other dive shops in Miami appear to lack) and the staff is absolutely top notch. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need, and they come across as genuinely interested in creating the best experience for their (customers/students) as possible.I completed my open water with Patrick Nichols and could not have felt more comfortable, safe, or had a better time in the water. Patrick is extremely skilled. I’ve dived with him several times after completing my certification and continue to be impressed. On a day with terrible conditions where visibility was down to a foot we were able to exit the water within spitting distance of where we went it.I am so pleased with Grove Scuba that I’m even going on their dive trip to Bonaire, which was incredibly easy to commit to as the made all arrangements besides a plane ticket. I’m additionally pursuing my advanced diving through them and refuse to go anywhere else for my dive needs. I wish everything in life were as easy and fun as diving, but believe I would not have had this experience with any other dive shop. Whether you’re looking to be a discover scuba diver or become a dive master, you can’t go wrong with Grove Scuba.

I havent experienced their services just yet but I have emailed a few of the other places in the area as well and not only did they answer quickly but were friendly and gave me info that I didnt know I should ask! (None of the other places got back to me). Very happy and I plan on attending a dive in the next few weeks. I wont even consider anyone else in the area now :)Thank you guys!

Im an independent PADI Instructor, but I buy my PADI materials through Grove Scuba. I called Bill on Friday to place an order. He only had a few of the new Open Water materials in stock, but offered to ship those if I needed them quickly. I was told that the rest of my materials would be here by Thursday, but I just got notified that they were shipped this morning and should be here a day earlier than anticipated. This is typical of the helpful, can-do attitude I have always received from Grove. Kudos guys.

Im a Dive master & been diving for 30 years. I was a Bubbles customer until it closed down. I visited Grove Scuba the 1st. month that opened next to Burger King. I had a Burger King cup with a lid & water inside so the young inexperience lady working there told me I couldnt be inside the store with the cup. I turned around & never looked back again.I didnt know a cup of water was a hazard to all your waterproof products.

I went today because the I normally go to gave me bad service and information. No body acknowledged me I walked all over to see what you had found what I needed but I guess you guys were having too much fun to notice me. I did leave because I got tired of waiting to pay for my items.

I came to grove scuba for 1 and a half months from england to obtain my Rescue diver and Dive master certifications along with a couple staff, whom since. i have had the pleasure of both teaching with and assisting, they teach their students to a very high standard, in a friendly easy way. I can say that the staff are some of the most friendly and devoted people i have ever met, and they made my experience even better, making me feel entirely at home. I even stayed on for another 1 1/2 months to become and instructor, which could of potentially been a very boring course with lots of slides and information to take in, even though it is very interesting, it has potential to drag on. Bill the course director and owner of the store made it fun and i managed to complete and pass in a week!I feel comfortable in saying that Grove Scuba as a business delivers on all accounts, they pride themselves on their excellent customer service and rightly so, having both been a customer and worked there, i see that they will bend over backwards in order to help out their customers.I would definately recommend it to any of my friends/family/acquaintances, great places to dive, great service and great people...what more could you want from a dive trip?

I bought a groupon for my stepson to get his open water cert. We went in, got the materials, and were told he could come take the test when he is ready and they will put him in a class. After almost a year I called to schedule the test before the expiration of the certificate. When the person on the phone asked me if my stepson was ready, I responded honestly that he could use more time but the certificate was expiring so wed give it a shot. He told me not to worry, that since wed already redeemed the certificate, he could have as long as he needed to prepare for the test. Today we went to schedule the test and were told that wed have to pay $100 more since the groupon expired. Im not sure if a policy changed or if whoever I spoke to provided wrong information, but I certainly will not be returning to this establishment.

Amazing experience all the way.I visited at least 4 scuba diving stores prior Grove Scuba and none compared to the fantastic customer service I recently received here.Bill and Adam answered every single question I had with no rush, explained every detail of the courses, products and diving scenarios. Upon signing in for Open Water Padi course, Bill and Adam Worked to accomodate to my schedule.I went thru the course,written and physical test (including 20 skills) and was able to receive my Open Water Padi Certification, very happy with the instructors Adam and Josh and not only Bill (The Owner) but the entire staff will treat you like family.In Summary, Grove Scuba was the best out of 4 different scuba stores visited, most organized, clean, and best of the best customer service.Sincerely,Yamir
