Good food, but customer service seriously need to improve. The waitress got upset upon her giving me the wrong information of the empanadas they had, and since I wanted my money back, she was rude.

The meal was delicious. The service was great. Cant wait to come back to try something else on the menu.

Outdoor, socially spaced tables available! Love this place for the cuban cuisine, and more, for 32 years! OMG, was not aware until i counted the years. They have a unique outdoor cafe area due to high ceilings and huge spacious dining area. On the fringe of doral conveniently located many businesses and expressways. I dont live in doral and have worked on and off in the area, but when i think good breakfast with the best service i think of Rosita and trópico on nw 12th street doral florida. Trópico has retained 3 to 5 key employees throughout the 32 years, and changes of ownership, and Rosita is one of them. I work in the hospitality sector and i can tell you that Rositass service and then the location and food keep me coming back.......for 32 years. Ahhhhhhh, comfort service and food, doesnt get any better !!!!!!!Currently servicing my car at Lorenzo Buick, Alejandro G. Good food nice clean place to eat. Visit often since it is close to work. Just make sure to ask for the bill when you receive the food. Saves time. I ordered Carne con papas, arroz, plátanos maduros y una ensalada. It’s was so good and I also ordered a natural lemonade. The restaurant was recently remodeled and it looks amazing.

Great food and value. The lechón asado is some of the best Ive had. Service was good and the dining room is very clean. Theres a reason this place had been in business for so long.

Just spent the worse $8.00 of my life in a so called pan con bistec. Meat was hard and no flavor . The bread had no Mayo or anything to give some kind of flavor. Last time I will ever buy anything from this place again. I usually go there for a chicken soup everyday. Today they decided to have none.

Well-appointed, a recent renovation has left this establishment with a modern look. However, the food and service was inconsistent.Our tamal en hoja was meaty but lacked seasoning. My wifes Chicharrón de Pollo was tasty but too salty. My salmon was well-cooked but lacked salt. The tostones were excellent, but the side salads were just lettuce and tomato. The only dessert was flan, but it was just ok.Service was friendly but a little slow. All the TVs were set to a soccer-analysis show with no sound that no one appeared to be watching. Considering it was Sunday, I would have thought a football preview or food/cooking show would have been more appropriate.

They have a great wait staff, very friendly. Great empanadas.

Ordered a small chicken soup and they give me in a cup!! Are you kidding me???? and when I called they said the small is 8oz which is what the cup can hold. This is WAY too SMALL for a small doesnt even have CHICKEN IN IT!!! I paid $3 for this. THESE PEOPLE ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!! I HAD TO GIVE THEM A STAR TO WRITE THE POST BUT THEY DONT DESERVE IT!!!!

We were traveling for the government and wanted some Cuban food. We cant get it where we live. The food was great and the service was excellent. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating. I wanted to take her home with me she was so sweet. I am coming back next time Im in Miami again.

Place has great food and service. Eat here about every 2 months and always enjoy it. Parking is not so good. Small amount of spaces with little room is only negative. However, well worth it.

Went to this place for the first time and I’m not coming back. The customer service is horrendous. I have to give a star because it doesn’t allow me to give any less. It’s like all the employees agreed to all look depressed and just have a terrible demeanor. As for as the food it was meh. Asked for wheat bread and was given Rye. And the scrambled eggs had too much onions.

This place specializes in Cuban food and has typical dishes from other Latin American countries (Colombia and Venezuela among others). Its environment resembles one of those coffee shops that you would find in any Spanish-speaking country in the American continent. You can eat at the bar, at their indoor tables or at the external window, where they offer coffee, empanadas and other foods eaten with your hands. The portions are large and homemade flavored, good option for a quick lunch at a reasonable price.

Live music on fridays. I love it. The food and the service is great and good portions too.

Food was meh, but service was terrible waitress she wasnt attentive to our needs regarding refills or if everything was ok. Pina Cola was expensive 8 dollars for a champagne glass of drink is ridiculous.

We went to el Tropico #1 today and is was excellent, food and service. The owner, Alfonsina and the waitress Sahilly were awesome. Definitely will go again and recommend to friends.

Horrible food and service, was much better a few years ago.. The rice was hard, no tartar sauce for fish, steak sandwich was so tough I couldnt bite through it, I then got a pork sandwich and the pork was the worst Mojo pork I ever had..Very disgusted and nauseous after our experience there...

I ordered lunch from here a few days ago, great food but the wait time for a delivery is ridiculous. I have been waiting for my breakfast for over an hour and the same thing happened with my lunch, i dont work that far from the restaurant. im not sure the quality of food is worth the wait.
