Very cute place. Great location. Nice flooring (very original) The ice cream is average. They should have more flavors. Lemon and Passion Fruit flavors are very very acids (they should improve those). Mango flavor it’s delicious! Overall we liked it. Besides, when you walk outside, the atmosphere it’s amazing! You can enjoy the view of palm trees and the Dome. Beautiful!

Unfriendly staff!!! Looks like they were doing you a favour to buy their ice cream. So bad attitude!!!They forced us to wear a mask when both employee(maybe one was the owner) didn’t wear it.After almost 3mins that we were there waiting for them to do their stuff we finally be noticed and they finally start to take care of us ( the place was completely empty ). Finally they wear a mask and gave us one as well and start to serving us.Ice cream was decent. Nothing special. I was aspecting more for a place call β€œmad lab” . LolIf the staff were friendly and gave us different customer service (at least a smile)I would probably come back, even if the ice cream wasn’t that good but sorry, we will never step in again. Really bad experience!!!

Love the ice cream here, employees are friendly and professional. The decoration looks nice and clean. The only downside is Japanese cheesecake.. It should taste more cheese like Japanese cheese cake not like butter cake.. Anything else is good.

I consider myself an Ice cream expert and this place is with out a doubt my top pick in Miami. The variety of flavors they offer are like no other from your basic simple flavors to the exotic not so basic flavors. The middle eastern twist is what won me over with Rose Water, Turkish coffee, orange blossom, even cucumber! The staff is super helpful, friendly, and welcoming! To say Ill be back is not a question! So happy I came across this gem:)

Where sweet dreams come true! Sparkly cotton candy ON TOP of my ice cream cone? Yes, please!! Instagramworthy and delicious!I’m shocked by the other reviews - service was super friendly and cone is now served with a napkin (though not sure why anyone would make a big deal about this - just wash your hands before eating...employees wear gloves so they’re not contaminating the cone).

It fulfilled my expectations for the fill/vibe I was going for. I travel several times a year, and Im always looking for the best fried chicken. I was slightly disappointed that it was boneless, but it quite tasty. The service was great too even though the owner looked to be our waiter and cashier. If youre looking for a quaint spot with good chicken, go check this spot out

Summer treat!Flavorsome ice cream. Camera Eats First at this place.Madlab is decorated with fun and bright colors. Great decor from the floor to celling and outside eating area. Good luck with picking a flavor... the matcha, the cookies and creams, the almond joy, the strawberry and the many many possibilities of toppings.Highly recommend for adults, kids or babies first ice cream.

The place offers soft serves. The flavors were fair. I enjoy the fact that the they didnt taste too sweet, as it mostly happens in the creameries. You can pick to different flavors with a regular size. The cone was crunchy and it came with paper protection. You can add different kinds of toppings to your choice, but it makes the price of the ice cream too expensive.

I work in the design district and sometimes it can be hard to find anything sweet for a nice price. But I love love this place! I’ve told my coworkers about it and it’s just too good! The ice cream is so good I’ve even come back for seconds. The cookies are a great treat as well!I wish they had milkshakes as well, but it’s not a big deal.

Nothing beats walking in and stepping on a sticky floor. The Ice cream is supposed to be amazing, but I didnt even get to try it. The staff was too busy on their phones to even look at me, even though there was not a single customer there. They did make sure to all laugh at me when I asked for help, I seem to have made the mistake of asking what they had since it was near the end of the day and they told me I was better off leaving. Took my kids to walgreens and got them some ice cream, as per the staffs suggestions. It cant be easy finding entry level help in Miami that actually wants to work but this place looks like it has the funds to do better.

I was ready to give MadLab major points for creativity, until met with a nasty attitude by a woman who claimed to be the owner. After walking around in the scorching sun most of the day, I wanted to treat myself to ice cream and found MadLab. I went in and tried several different flavors and ultimately ended up with vanilla soft serve ice cream. I had earlier remarked that I did not care for the tropical fruit or rhubarb flavors. Once the $6 cup of ice cream had been prepared, I was asked if I wanted edible glitter, I responded no and asked what the hype was with edible glitter. The server mentioned that many people love edible glitter. At the register the owner/cashier asked if there was an issue. I said absolutely not and thanked her but noticed major attitude and shade. Later the same woman comes outside to say that she wondered what the issue was with the flavors and proceeded to defend her brand. I promptly let her know that she should over hear entire conversations before remarking with attitude. She was so quick to explain the process. I also let her know that Im entitled to not like specific flavors. Furthermore, how do you confront a paying customer? Needless to say, I wont be returning to this ice cream shop where my money is not appreciated.

I feel really sad for the owner of this place. We just left there and the girls in there were SO rude and disrespectful. They were close to closing and they wanted to go home. They told us that the chocolate soft serve was going to be a few minutes and asked if we wanted to wait, when I said yes, they looked disappointed. Then I heard one of the workers say β€œlet me check if it’s working” and the other coworker said β€œno let’s just say none of the machines are working now” they were SOOO rude. Everyone before ya and after us were walking out. They were so disrespectful.Disgusting customer service. Would not recommend this place.

What a Terrible experience! I walked in and the girls were not approachable. I asked them if there were any cake/brownie I can put on my ice cream and they said they didn’t know what I was talking about and then stood quiet when I pulled up the Instagram with the brownies and cake chunks. I walked out with a mediocre ice cream cone with chocolate balls. Nothing special for 7$. Will not be coming back with the terrible customer service and and do not recommend. You are better going to fireman dereks bake shop less than 10 minutes away!

Ok so I just read the review form the woman Laura Olivos and felt compelled to write one because I was there today, Sunday 30th and boy was the ice cream parlor slammed! The attendants were so sweet and yes very young. It is so incredibly enraging a woman can insult another woman, call them stupid, it is frankly disgusting. You can tell they are constantly cleaning and movΓng, when I was there’s I saw 3-4 employees. If you liked your ice cream and the employees were nice then you be nice, maybe that woman was bitter because of something else, what a sad sad person! Thanks for my glittery delicious coconut ice cream, ai loved it!

There are very few soft serve ice cream places in Miami and I have to say this is my favorite. You can go as simple as you want or add as many toppings! It is definitely not the cheapest but you can taste the freshness on this one. Super cute inside, allPink! The girls that work there are young and cute and it is sad to read reviews bashing them! Like c’mon people! Definitely a must if you are in Wynwood/design distric area!!

They handed me a bare ice cream cone (without a paper cone protecting it) and I made a comment to the employee, like - you guys should think about placing a napkin around your cones before you hand them to the customers - I mean, its a $7 cone for christ sake. The manager overheard what I said and gave me the rudest attitude to possible before letting me know that Id been the only customer to complain. I tried to explain to her that I wasnt complaining, that it was just a mere suggestion since I didnt think it was very hygienic to place food right on peoples bare hands. And this lady just kept on giving me attitude telling me that no store does the paper cone thing (I guess shes never been inside a HΓ€agen-Dazs, Ben&Jerrys, or Yogen FrΓΌz store). Mind you, she spoke to me that way in front of all the other customers who were starting to turn around to listen! I felt so embarrassed... for her! not for myself of course. I think its always a shock when a manager is able to behave like that not only in front of her customers, but also in front of her own employees. I decided to leave the store, right after I left the $7 bare ice cream cone on her counter for her to clean... I mean, I didnt have a choice, they gave me no napkins :)The ice cream was just ok, nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not worth the attitude or the money!PD: There is a lovely bakery right next door selling the best croissants and with the nicest staff!
