Let me tell you. This place. THIS PLACE. Its a gift. Sandwiches are huge, bagels and little rolls and such are ALL delicious. On top of the the amazing food the service is INCREDIBLY delightful. Feels like theyre genuinely passionate about what they do. It homely and small. Its not really set up up to eat inside, plan for take away. But WOW do I recommend. I went here again after several years of forgetting it existed...Ill be back every week I expect!It should be noted when its busy, it is BUSY though. So I would try to dodge the lunch rush if possible.

Mom was not happy with a near by option. Went here at 6am. Smelled amazing. Though price a bit more than expected. So happy they had salt bagels. The whitefish spread was perfect.

B & B baked on premises. Fresh 3 egg omlets. Nice people.

When you are originally from the east coast (specifically New York and New Jersey) you will crave for a good bagel and cream cheese (the chain stores dont cut it). This place is authentic. You know the real smell of the bagels and cream cheese. This is your go to place!

I have never been to the House Of Bagels nor will I ever go there. I had the misfortune of being out front of the store waiting in line for the french bakery next door. An employee came out and told us to move. The line needed to be on the otherside. Not in front of the house of bagels. Up till that point I was considering going into the house of bagels.

Bagels are so-so, better then Midwest, BUT the help could not be less competent. They got our order wrong and then complained about fixing it. We ordered tuna salad, they gave us plain cream cheese. Big deal, change it. Why have such useless employees. Won’t go back, roasters bagels are better.

The food is average good, the bagels in particular are yummy.The service on the other hand is beyond bad. After walking in today to pick up an order that my co worker had placed I got treated horrible for no reason. I was not acknowledged at all and had to wait between 15-20 mins to even be asked what I wanted, the employee behind the counter asked what I had ordered. I told her I didnt know what the order was since I was picking it up for a friend. I told her the name on the order to which she responded; that tells me nothing. She then started acting upset and proceeded to say ;is it eggs ham and a bagel? I responded, it might be that.She then handed the bag to the other employee running the cash register.As I walk up to the register to pay I pulled out my debit card and I hand it to her, she told me it was only cash because their system was down. I said I have no cash, she asked me if I could go to the ATM but I said I couldnt since I had already wasted 25 mins waiting there and I had to go back to work. She then asked me if it was ok for her to write down the numbers on my card so that she could run it later once the system came back up and I agreed. She then points at a sign and tells me READ, I see on the sign that they charge $0.60 extra if you pay with a card. Basically you end up paying the business merchant fees. I assumed that with how much a plate cost the merchant fee would be covered in the price.She forgot to hand me the food bag and was ready to attend the next customer, I had to ask her for my food and at that point she seemed upset and handed it to me in a very nasty way. Slamming it against the counter. I felt disrespected and mistreated for no reason. Needless to say, I wont be coming back and I will make sure to tell others to skip this place specially with so many other good places around.I highly recommend management to evaluate their employees and coach them on how to treat paying customers and how to run their shift. They obviously have no idea on what theyre doing. Theyre disrespectful and shouldnt work attending customers.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!!!!I forgot to add that the order was wrong as well.

Great fresh bagels. Their tuna fish and egg salads always taste great. You may have to wait in line a couple of minutes but worth the wait. Phone ahead for faster service.

Im guessing the owner(s) either dont read these reviews or dont care. The vast majority mention the terrible customer service and theyre correct. Orders often come out wrong and when you point out mistakes you get attitude. Im not someone who thinks service industry workers should be Bending over backwards to please you; Ive been a service worker myself. But when a customer says the order is wrong, just fix the damn order, dont argue. Also get it right next time.

I always get the western omelette with a wheat bagel and home fries. DELICIOUS! They never disappoint.

Very small shop so with Covid-19 I ordered and took a seat outside thinking they would bring me my meal, NOPE! 3 employees and I was 1 of 3 customers and they left my eggs, bacon and bagel to turn cold on the counter. Meanwhile the french bakery next door was a swinging door of satisfied customers. My choice of breakfast options is now French. House of Beagles has pathetic service!

This place is a staple for me. Im addicted to their bagels. And they make an amazing turkey sandwich. Reminds me of the Delhis in NYC. Cindy & Yami are awesome ...so is the owner Howie. You cant go wrong here !!

Bagels are the best in Miami. Good breakfast sandwiches. I’d don’t give it 5 stars because service especially among the younger staff is impatient and often times unfriendly. They need to remember they are in a service industry.

Just went to pick up lunch for my daughter at 3:15 (closes at 4) they told me, rather rudely, that they weren’t making any deli sandwiches and their toaster was off. I believe after all the hardships restaurants have faced this year they should be more interested in serving customers.

I have been a customer since 2006. Always a treat to eat here. The cheese stuffed bread is amazing!

Have come here all my life, but just started coming again recently. Yes, counter may not be in the best mood sometimes, but we are all having a hard time together, so instead of complaining, we should be trying our best to help eachother! Unfortunately the service is horrible. No greeting when I walked in the door, lack of hospitality, no friendly customer service. But the food is good (although a bit expensive). So well just go on rare occasions. FYI the salad restaurant a couple doors down is awesome! Great food and everyone is always friendly and helpful! Go there instead!

Bagels are decent. Its hard to find real bagels in south dade. The counter staff is beyond rude. At first I thought it was just the one person but everyone who works here has the nastiest attitude. They roll their eyes, they sigh heavily, they look at you with dead eyes. I just want a freakin bagel! Today I walked in at 1:53 pm and they told me they were closed (2pm). I used to buy bagels on a weekly basis in the spite of the nasty staff. Now Im done.

Bagels are great but the girl behind the counter was as cold as ice. No greeting, no smile and no thank you. Also be aware if you pay by debit or credit card you will be charged an additional .60 cents as a Non Cash Adjudtment.

Worst customer experience in Miami. After all the negative reviews about their staff the owner should put a little bit of effort finding nice people.

I called at 3:30 pm to see if they were opened. I was told they would be open until 4:00 pm. When I arrived at 3:50, they were closed. When I knocked on the door, a young man employee said: I thought you were coming sooner. We gave our bagels to charity and closed early. Why don’t you come by tomorrow? Really??!!I will go elsewhere.

The bagels, in my opinion, are OK. When ordering an everything bagel, or other bagel that has a topping, the topping is kind of skimpy compared to places like Dunkin, who are cheaper in the long run. Since this place has bagel right in its name, I expect a lot more and better.The attitude of the employees make you feel as if you did something wrong by walking in the door. Im waiting for one of them to yell no bagel for you!This is a restaurant that went to the dark side charging a fee to use a credit card. Flat fee of 60 cents. This can be a 60 percent penalty on some menu items.

Great selection of bagels baked fresh every morning. They also serve sandwiches and full breakfast prepared with fresh bakery items. Great place for a bunch of bagels for a party, or just one for a quick snack. They also serve home-made soups on most weekdays.

We’ve been going to House of bagels for about 18 years. The bagels are very good. The customer service is horrible. If you happen to catch the owner, then you’re in luck. He is very nice. There is the girl who works there in the morning and she is very cold and rude. Recently I went to get a white Fish salad sandwich and the white fish was so salty I couldn’t eat it. It also had bones and skin it. So I paid $12.79 for a sandwich but I couldn’t eat. I should’ve asked for my money back but I just won’t be going anymore. Roasters and Toasters in North Kendall/Daytran area is so much better

This was my first time visiting since the early 90s.Quick, simple, and easy - I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, along with coffee and a dozen bagels for the road. The sandwich and coffee came as a special and the bagels were $12.99 a dozen. Plain, rye, egg, pumpernickel, and cinnamon raisin were among my choices.Service was friendly and polite, service a bit on the slow side. Loved their bagels as they really taste like the bagel from New York. I no longer go because the are already expensive. $4.25 for a bagel with cheam cheese with chive and have the audacity to add, 50 cents if you use your credit or debit card. Nope!

The young girl that gives you your order has the worst customer service. We were so excited that we found a great bagel shop.Buying a dozen bagels is a very different experience from buying breakfast sandwiches.After my first disappointing experience I looked the place up and saw that this is an issue.Buy your bagels and run...don’t waste your time with the unprofessional attitude of this girl.

The customer service here is terrible. They treat you bad and food is overpriced. I asked for a recommendation on what type of bagel to choose from and the employee with sunspots on his face was just plain rude about it. I had a tuna melt with cheddar and it was so bland I had to pour tons of hot sauce and mustard on it for it to even taste like anything. I payed 11.75 for a bagel. Deff. wont go back or recommend

I came here on a Friday afternoon at around 1:30PM. Place compeletly empty, no workers at the front. When I placed my order, cashier taking order didnt even look me in the eye. Made very rude and disrespectful comment about my T-Shirt. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL. NOTHING UNIQUE OR SPECIAL. THIS PLACE WONT BE AROUND LONG AT ALL.

Best Bagel I had in my life.....

My experience with this establishment has been nothing but negative. I agree, though they have good tasting bagels and sandwiches, what good is that if you dont good customer service, or in this case, ANY customer service. The customer service at this place is down right ridiculous and lacking. The employees barely make any eye contact with you and tend to mumble. They ALL look miserable to be there and sure do act like it too. I have given this place 3 chances and at all 3, customer service severely sucked. At the 3rd time, I asked for a tuna melt. When the lady gave me my order I asked if they put lettuce and tomato. She answered with an attitude that I didnt ask for it. I sincerely said that I thought all sandwiches had lettuce and tomato to which she replied with an attitude again that they did not. So I asked her if she could put lettuce and tomato for me. She didnt even look at me or even told me anything. She kept going about her business at the counter top and then put something into my bag and left with out saying a word. This is not the first time this has happened, all three visits were similar.So first off youre going to give me attitude and then just not even bother to address me or say anything? When I looked into my bag she had wrapped lettuce and tomato in wrapping paper. Which was just odd. I gave her no reason to behave like this, I dont believe in being a difficult customer ever. The only consequence you will see from me is that you will no longer have my business and I will make sure to let my friends know that this place sucks in customer service, to not even bother.Btw, notice how the google reviews for this place arent actually reviewing anything. No doubt the people themselves giving 5 stars for ratings...

I just paid $3.75 for a cheese bagel with cream cheese. That seems excessive even if the milk to make the cheese came from wild unicorns high in the Himalayas that were milked by the tiny hands of elfs, then brought down the slippery slopes on the back of dwarfs being guided by Snow White.
