Very yummy bagels! I plan the night before what Im going to order and dream about my morning munch 🤤If youre in a rush, place an order ahead of time for pick up. Theyre very popular therefore very busy. Worth the wait though!

Bagels, bagels, and more bagels. this spot is a saturday ritual pre resting beach face. blt on an everything bagel has quickly become my closest friend, although it still cannot put sunscreen on my back. anyway this is the closest ive found to a nyc bagel and lemme tell you, it def holds up.

Not sure how to start this review. This place gets a lot of hype as well as being in some online tabloids as the best bagel place in Miami. I would have to disagree.This is the 3rd time I tried to order. Once i tried on a weekend around 1030am and they were already sold out. Second time was during the week and it said it would not be ready for an hour and half. This time it said it would be ready quickly.You can only order online.I ordered an EB Original and added a fried egg.I did not get it toasted. I wish I would have. It seems they have fresh bagels but once biting into it maybe user error everything pushed out.I wish there was more bacon in it and the jalapeño was the best part.I would also I say I really like cream cheese but there was so much cream cheese it was everywhere.Not sure I would return.

I liked the bagel sandwich my gf ordered more than mine so maybe she should’ve written this review. That being said, I didn’t like that half their bagel selection was out of stock by noon. We went on a weekday so it wasn’t as busy as people claimed. You’re supposed to order online but the guy at the window was willing to take our order instead. After ordering, our two bagels took about 15 minutes to prepare. That felt long to us. Also, no cash accepted here folks 🤷‍♂️

I ordered from El Bagel for the first time on 5/07/21 and wasnt disappointed. The quality of their bagels is excellent - you can tell that they make them themselves, and the order came per my instructions. I ordered Avo Spesh and it was the first time ever that I ate avocado & radish on a bagel. It was suprisingly good but my all-time-favorite poppy seed bagel with scallion cream cheese came perfect and delicious! I suggest that everyone does his/her research before going to this place and order online. I had a pleasant experience with their staff and I only had to only say 4 words: my first and last name and thank you.

Was in town for a Dolphins game and stayed local in a rental. We walked down a couple times for breakfast. VERY good bagel spot. Not a big box bagel spot. Fresh and delicious. Definitely a good breakfast spot.

The King Guava is a little taste of heaven. Perfect balance of savory and sweet. Cold brew is just the shot of energy I needed today, as well!

Not sure why they said its the best bagel in MIA. The cheddar jalapeño seemed like they microwaved my bagel because its chewy like a mthfrkr. Got a turkey with tomato jam, the half of the bagel has no turkey at ALL. The everything bagel is not an everything. It only has 2 seeds. Sesame and poppy. Get it together guys

The only place I get bagels from in Miami. I would never go anywhere else! It really is that kind of place where I just wake up some days craving El Bagel… must try for casual breakfast in Miami!

This is BEST bagel shop in all of Miami. I would eat here breakfast everyday here if I could and happily fatten myself on a BEC on an everything bagel. Its a masterpiece of beautifully crispy bacon with melty american cheese and perfectly cooked eggs that still have that gooey yellow yoke still kinda oozing out. Don’t check out before adding spicy honey to the BEC but if you really want to take it to the next level - scrap the honey and add add avocado and tomato jam. An elite breakfast bagel sandwich that could rival any bagel institution in New York.El Bagel is quality through and through. Everything is simply incredible and you really can’t go wrong with anything. Definitely order on a weekday for a quicker pick up time but otherwise, know that that weekend wait time is worth it 100%.

Been a fan of these cats since their food truck. This new shop of theirs has only improved consistency and quality. I drive from the Gables every Saturday AM to enjoy it. Definitely worth it - favorite and best bagels in Miami. Congratulations to team El Bagel. I can’t recommend enough.

Bagels/bagel sandwiches are the best Ive had. King guava on a jalapeño cheddar... like nothing else Ive ever had.The seating leaves much to be desired...Still a food truck type joint, so not many options once you have your food...but so good!I would recommend driving or biking to pick up food with plans to hit a park or beach. Also, bring drinks, as drink options and fixings are limited.

The bagels are tasty and the selection is good; but even when pre-ordered; they’re unorganized and delayed. This has happened several times now and ruins the experience - I don’t intend to come back

Great taste. Placed my order, they told me it was going to be a few minutes so I went to my car to wait. The girl came out to my car with my order when it was ready. It was Very nice from her and the food was incredible.

Best bagel i’ve had in the area. It’s a great place to go and amazing food. There is something to say about the wait time but the staff are friendly and you never have any problems. Definitely worth the online order and wait.

I think it’s hilarious this place has 3.9 stars. this is a spectacular bagel. it is definitely a planned out event to get el bagel- you’ll probably have to be thinking about it at midnight and set an alarm for 7:59am to order at 8 so that they’re not sold out. once you get a bite of that chewy, soft, delightful deliciousness it will all make sense. don’t try to order at the window when you get there, and don’t try to rush them. making 1000 bagels in 4 hours would be hard for any seasoned team of bagel baddies. worth the hype and worth the venture.

The staff at El Bagel were all so nice and helpful. The BEC came out in a timely fashion and was delicious. Would recommend going every morning if I could make it!

Arden was the woman who helped me. As much as I love the food here, costumer service and kindness are way more important. And she has neither. It’s was 90* outside and I had my three month old baby with me. I was 15 min early on a busy Saturday. I asked her if she could please check on my order, see if it could be done sooner or maybe how much longer it would be. She didn’t even get up from her chair, didn’t even tell me “let me check” or pretend to make any attempt to help me. I understand it’s busy, but with a baby you should be a bit compassionate and give even the smallest effort or attempt. “Let me see what I can do but most likely it will be your confitemos pick up time” like any kind words of empathy would have been appreciated. Just rude is what she is. RUDE.

Sadly the bagel is really good. There was a long hair in my sesame bagel w butter. So it was very visible to see. Got it to go so couldn’t go back to show them but I’ve never seen somthing that bad before :(

Best bagel I’ve ever had outside of NY. Loved it so much the first time, we ordered again the very next day.

The online ordering is ridiculous. Placed an order. An hour wait for a bagel with cream cheese. Went to pick it up. As I was waiting in line for the window, I get a text that the order was canceled. Get to the window, ask why the order was canceled. No reason. They didn’t run out of everything bagels or cream cheese. The guy tells me I can place another order. I ask how long that would be, “About 45 minutes.” I’d just waited an hour already. So I told them to refund my money. Days later, no refund to my debit card. Called my bank and they said there doesn’t seem to be anything to show that they even processed the refund to begin with.

Ordered and when it came time to pay im informed they dont accept cash, actual currency! A first for me. I dont know if its out of laziness or an unprepared establishment but my order couldnt be completed so I showed myself to pollo tropical. 🤌

Delicious bagels! So happy they finally opened up their cafe. Their bagel truck was pretty legendary. plain bagel is soft and spongy. The everything bagel has a nice crunchy texture. Both are flavorful. Try their sandwiches: BEC AND Avo spesh. Definitely try a cold brew with your bagel. They serve full circle coffee.

It’s okay - but service is pretty SLOW. A hour wait for just for cream cheese and a bagel. I’ve had the bagels before and thought the hype was not worth it. There are better locations just down the road in Wynwood.

Attempted to walk up and place an order 10:30 Sunday morning. No line to speak of but people milling about waiting for their orders. Semi-courteous girl at front said I could only place an order online I said I dont have access online she said Ill take your order but for one sandwich it will take an hour or more. Dont waste your time! I drove from Miami Beach to get a bagel. I was told they only accept online orders and the wait time was over an hour. They cant figure out how to make bagels in a timely manner on a Sunday morning? Try to support local businesses, i went to Dunkin instead!

Literally the worst service I received in a Miami restaurant. My wife and I were excited to go until we got there and the young lady at the counter decided that we werent worth helping out since we were outside without our masks and acted annoyed that we would ask how long the wait time was for a to go order. (FYI, we were outside and theres no mask mandate. Grow up.)ill be sure to tell people that I know go to Miami in the future not to visit this restaurant since you dont seem to care about your customers.

My go to weekend breakfast spot when im in Miami

Amazin Bagel, I usually go to the Foodtruck in Lincoln Rd. If it was not for the delays I would give it a 5 star. Get ready to wait even if it is scheduled for a certain time slot on online orders. Today I had to wait 20 min after my schedule time. Not sure if I will go back again as the staff could give 2 cents if the order was delayed.

I would rate them lower than 1 star if I could. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They greet you with, “Are you picking up an order?” They do not know how to run a neighborhood business. The signs on their door alone are a turn-off, “We only take on-lime orders.” Clearly, this is because they don’t know how to communicate face to face.with their patrons. Their are way too many great bagel places in Miami to waste your time with El Bagel.

Pretty solid bagel. Prices are great for the offerings. Would say it can match a bagel from NY pretty square on. Definitely a spot to check if youre visiting, and even more so if youre a resident. Had the guava and avo spesh sandwiches. The sweet and savory aspect of the guava plus the everything spice was great. Opted for the scallion cc and it topped it off! Just with the shoestring fries were slightly crispier! The avo spesh was refreshing, and just needed a touch more salt and pickle to be perfect. Otherwise for this style of bagel, its a great option.

The place is a maze . Front door says to go on the back and back door says to go on the front !! Waste of time

EXTREMELY RUDE OWNER AND STAFF. The fact a bagel shop opens at 8:00 AM, where most customers want to get bagels early on for breakfast, and that they are closed two days a week, says it all about how much they care for their clients.Since they do not let you in the store due to COVID-19, I picked up the bagels on the cheap table they set up outside and one of the napkins the server gave me flew with the wind. She then said, go and pick up the napkin. I could not believe her tone. I asked for the owner, and he could care less. There are so many good places to get bagels 6-7 days a week early in the morning. Why bother with these losers.

Great bagels! Really good dough. Sandwiches are good but the bagels are so good you dont really need anything else on them. It can hide the great flavors and chew off the dough.

El Bagel adapted, built an online ordering portal out of necessity in a very short timeframe, a safety window, and a system to protect their customers by spacing out orders.The wait times are long because they don’t want 150 people showing up at 8am to collect their bagels on a Saturday and then being forced to shut down because people can’t and won’t respect social distancing orders. You should be staying home anyway so being patient for a bagel should be the least of your concerns.Oh and the bagels are yummy and chewy, and the sandwiches are fresh and portioned excellently.

Great bagels. Those reviews talking bad about the bagels have never had a real NYC bagel, theres supposed to be a little snap on the outside and some chew on the inside. The classic BEC will cure any hangover. Negative points for how difficult they are to get (rediculously long wait pre-covid, have to be available all morning for online ordering during Covid) and the price is several dollars over priced per item; a BEC and a cold brew shouldnt cost $15 before tax and tip for a takeout spot.

El Bagel is most definitely worth the drive each and every time. When we last went, I tried their avo spesh and it was amazing. From the everything bagel to the smashed avocado, I throughly enjoyed and devoured the sandwich. I will definitely be coming back soon.

AMAZING. Bagel baking skills are TOP notch, bagels are fresh, hand rolled, baked to perfection. Only the best ingredients, from the seeds on the bagels to the locally sourced smoked fish, eggs, cheese—TOP. Lox, whitefish, tuna...all amazing. I usually pick a couple sandwiches up for lunch AND stock up a dozen for the weekend at home.

Moved to Miami a year ago for work and found el bagel by word of mouth. Waited anxiously for the shop to open and when it did attended the 2 hour line the first few days. WORTH EVERY SECOND. I’ve read the reviews below that rip it apart for learning to adjust for Covid and longer then usual times... all I can say is they are doing a great job. The quote is available prior to placing your order so you can’t really complain if you place it and know when it’ll be ready, it also texts and emails you to notify that it’s ready. Wake up early they sell out fast and get busy quickly! Above all this though My 5 stars is for customer service. We’ve eaten many times and never had an issue. The one time we did have an issue we contacted them via IG. The owner was incredibly quick to respond and recover our issue and of course retain us as guests. I don’t care how good some of these places may claim to be - if you don’t have an owner that cares it’s not worth it. Hats off to you El Bagel. Hope to see more of you all over Miami.

What a joke!! I thought previous reviews was exaggerated!!! 830 am and they have an hour wait for one bagel??? I can smell the bagel and see them but I have to wait an hour for I to reach out and put one in bag?? I can’t wrap my head around it 🙄🙄

Exceptional Bagels for Florida!!! I am from NYC/NJ area so it means a lot coming from me!! 4 star only because none can compare to NYC Bagels but it is definitely the best Ive had in Florida!!!I shared the BEC, King Guava, and the Martinellis apple juice with my husband.BEC was definitely our fave!! Mainly because it is a great savory breakfast.King Guava was Also amazing it is a number 1 pick if you prefer a sweet breakfast. Last but not least, the apple juice was definitely amazing! A first time for both of us, and it complimented the bagels perfectly!!!As for customer service, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall great experience, I highly recommend this place!

Everything on the menu is delicious but the King Guava & EB Original are especially fire (add bacon to both if you know what youre doing). This bagel shop manages to curate a particular vibe that is hard to find in Miami; a super chill but never casual, je ne sais quoi, kind of vibe. Hundo-P WOULD recommend!

Ordered the Whitefish Girl and Avo Spesh, both were tasty! The staff was friendly and even though the place had a line wrapped around the inside of the store we got our order fairly quickly. Highly recommend it.

I have a few issues with this place1. The online ordering tech is terrible. I tried to order 5 times only to have my order booted out of the system. Fix your tech, get a phone line, or better yet, only take in person orders.2. I don’t know any other bagel joint that makes you wait 1.5 hours for a bagel. I visited them in the food truck a few months back and somehow I got my bagel under 30 mins (though 30 mins for a bagel is still unacceptable)3. Paying $10+ dollars for a bagel is a stretch anywhere, but paying that much and then waiting HOURS????I was looking forward to giving this place another chance, but it’s clear there’s some work to be done.

Walked up this morning to get a bagel with cream cheese . The gentlemen working the register told me he had 94 orders ahead of me and it would be a two hour wait. If this isn’t sad and pathetic and typical Miami service I’m not sure what is .

Best bagels in South Florida hands down! Living in Broward Ive driven down to Miami deathly hungover to get these bagels before. Unbelieve and made fresh daily!

Are they any good? yes. when using a new york bagel as reference is it close? yes 87% i’d say if 100% is true new york. is it worth 45min wait? NO. there are shops in nyc half the size filled with hangry new yorkers with the same amount of customers which take 10mins. 45-60min wait for a bagel is unacceptable.
