Great selection of glasses, even for my daughter who has Medicaid! But beyond that is the customer service, which is superior to any other glasses place Ive been to in my 25 years of wearing glasses. The ladies here are kind and compassionate, and really go out of their way to make your experience a great one! This was my daughters first pair of glasses and the people here treated her like a princess!

My 2 pair of glasses were $850 for them to only have 100 day warranty. If you want extended warranty to last a year you have to pay for it. I told them why wasn’t I aware of that at time of purchase and then the employee says it’s all over there walls. I was like where? She pointed at small letters that you can’t see from afar. I think it’s ridiculous that your frames do not have at least 1 year warranty. I’ve had glasses all my life and every place I’ve gone too I’ve had a 1 year warranty. Go someplace else where it’s be less expensive and have at least one year warranty.

I was not impressed with the 50% off second pair of glasses. It turned out to be more expensive for my second pair of glasses because it is based on suggested retail price. Regardless of what my insurance pays for my first pair of glasses, the second pair cost more than the first because the cost is 50% off a suggested retail price.Also, the way the receipt shows, they charge lenses per eye. This is a common practice to make the customer think theyre getting a great deal. 205 looks better than 410 on paper but its really 205 per eye.The customer service was pleasant. I would have given more stars had the pricing been a little bit more straightforward to begin with. It was only after I paid and the receipt was printed I questioned what I had just paid for. Two days later was able to cancel the second pair and they did refund my money. Now I will wait to see if they return my frames that I gave to them.

My daughter and I went to this store on a Saturday about a month ago. We got there at 5:10 pm. There were no cars in the parking lot. When I got to the door, I saw the note about making an appointment. I called to see if we could come in and look around. I was told we could not because there was a family coming in at 5:30 and they were limited to how many people could be in the store. I didnt realize we had to have an appointment to just look at frames. You cant sell anything if you wont let customers in to shop.

I have had my glasses made at the Ward Parkway once and at Oak Park store the second time. But when the same needed repair work, these two stores had their share of excuses and I understand that the times are different. However, their response seemed like they take no responsibility. But when I called the Merriam store, Tina, if I remember correctly, was disappointed to know that I had to keep calling all Vision works location to see who can help me. She fixed my glasses in less than a day. Shes very friendly and professional also.

My only complaint is that I had no idea how expensive it was until we totaled up. Even with my VSP, and buy one get one 1/2 off.

My kiddo broke his first and only pair of glasses. When I took him back up there the staff was super friendly and was legitimately concerned with getting them repaired asap. Lacey went above and beyond to make sure this happed today. I have always received great service from Visionworks and would certainly recommend them to everyone I know.

I have purchased my last 2 pairs of glasses at this store, and I cant praise the store manager Nina highly enough. She has been unfailingly helpful and cheerful and has offered excellent customer service. Thats a rare commodity in this day and age. She is a wonderful representative for the store and an enormous asset for Visionworks.

I came in three days ago and got my glasses adjusted because I was at Home Depot . I didnt know this location was ever there. I went in and I got FREE nose pads unlike a close competitor down the road. All Tina said was let everybody know we made you happy and come back anytime. I will definitely be back. Thanks Tina!

After going to 2 other companies, and severalMonths, couldnt get the glasses I bought to work properly. I decided to go to Visionworks at Merriam. I have never had glasses before.Tina welcomed me to the store and was so patience with me as I picked out frames. She then told me that the glasses I had were not quite right and assured me that if the glasses from them didnt work they would work with me until I was happy. Unlike one of the other stores, who couldnt get me out fast enough!I am completely happy with the glasses from Visionworks and would recommend them to in a heartbeat. I came to them after having a very poor experience - twice - at the VW Legends, and right from the first phone call to the visit to the shop, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. The staff here was very kind when I brought my mother in on a Monday morning. At nearly 75, primarily in a wheel chair, she needed to replace glasses that were lost when she had a stroke last year. Tina helped us. She was patient and understanding. We are able to use an AARP discount to help with the cost! I would recommend this location most definitely!

I went into the Merriam store today. I was very upset with my experience with another location at oak park mall. My daughters glasses frame broke. She has two pairs and the one that broke is her favorite pair. The lady that helped me was so rude and refused to help me. She told me I have to go back to where I bought them. So I did. At the Merriam location the lady helped me and found the frame. It wasn’t at that store but she called another store and gave me a discount. I’m very grateful for her. We will continue to come to this location.

Ive been going here for years, and Dr. Estrada is awesome! Hes extremely thorough and friendly. He explains things in simple terms for full understanding, and doesnt treat me like Im a number, unlike the people at Lenscrafters! A couple of the ladies on the other side have something to be desired, but Im assuming they are good workers or else wouldnt still be there. Overall the experience is great and I wont go to any other eye doctor. Ms. Richmond

Ive been here About 5 times throughout the whole year to pick up contacts and I always get the worst treatment! The lady at the front desk has an attitude all the time, I walked in and waited for about 2 min before being greeted and told there were 3 people in front of me and with an attitude! how hard is it to be nice to your customers???..these people make me feel like I dont matter as a customer and have the worst attitude for no reason. If I had a closer vision works where I live I would go there in a heartbeat instead of this place.

This office has been my eye doctor and glasses/contact provider since I was five years old. Awesome service, friendly staff. Dr. Estrada is a great eye doc. Very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable.

I supposedly ordered a 6 month supply of contacts from them but when I picked them up, they only gave me a 2 month supply and said thats all I had paid for. The girls that work there dont seem very knowledgeable either. They took forever figuring out my insurance benefits and kept quoting me different things. They couldnt find my order because their back area is very disorganized. It was my mistake for not comparing prices at other places in the first place but I just realized other places sell my brand of contacts for $30 a box whereas I pay $85 per box at Visionworks. What a ripoff!

This is my third experience with the Merriam Visionworks. The first two times the staff was rude and unprofessional and are in need of several customer service training videos. However my last visit was a little better, Nina was very helpful and very patient she seemed to understand what I needed in eyewear. Overall, the Merriam Visionworks is expensive, the collection is not that great and the staff is horrible.

I’m a truck driver and this morning I broke my glasses while driving through town. I googled the closest place to get them fixed. I was very happy with my experience. I could park arcoss the parking lot with my large rig and get right in when the store opened. The girl that helped me fixed my glasses even though I didn’t buy them from there. It was free. I tried to give her money but she wouldn’t take it. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be on the road today. Thank you visionworks. I will be back maybe not that location but I will shop with you.

Broke my glasses at 7 PM on a Tuesday night and took them to Visionworks, which is not where I purchased them. The wonderful technician there immediately repaired them rather than pushing me to purchase new frames, and within 20 minutes I was out the door with glasses that were as good as new.Ill be a repeat customer.

Great staff, Im usually rushed and Nina always takes care of everything I need. From contacts, glasses, and prescription sun glasses and repairs, they take care of it all.

I got a prescription next door at Kessler and immediately went here. The gentleman was busy and maybe only 1 or 2 people in the business, but he acknowledged me. I waited patiently and was given excellent treatment. I gave him my prescription and explained the exact details of my insurance quickly. I was using my vision benefit to its full extent and no more. I did not need glasses to survive and would not wear them all the time, so I wanted no extra spending, but they would improve my life nonetheless. I explained what I liked and he had a sense of style for eyewear and got it immediately. I chose a few that wouldnt quite work on me and I took one of his recommendations. He educated me a bit about how they should fit which was greatly appreciated. The lenses ordered were perfect, and somehow he worked magic and made them fit straight on my face. Apparently I have lopsided ears. Gas station sunglasses usually get lost with me because they always fall off and never fit. These lovely metal frames and lenses are amazing. I lost my visionworks case a week later and came back and he gave me another. I dont use them that much and dont want to buy fancy cases. I was so happy getting a replacement case it seems silly, but it was so nice. Now my dog has chewed up that case... It was sturdy enough to protect my glasses, but ouch it is barely holding on now. I have a new allowance this year and am going to get another pair, something suave and sophisticated, or fun and laid back, I dont know. Im excited to do it again! The whole process was very nice.

I was looking for a frame that’s it, because I had spent so much money on my lens. I Went to Target and the lady there didn’t make no effort in looking for a frame for our lenses just because they didn’t carry our old glasses brand. We left and went to vision works in Merriam and as soon as we walked in it was just a different atmosphere A young lady name skyler assistaed my husband and I and she helped us and even when she found out the brand had been discontinued she called around and even googled for the frame number. She walked around looking at frames after frames until she finally found one. Then she took even more time with my insurance. She spent about an hour helping us in anyway she could her service was amazing she never made me feel like I was bothering her or like she was rushing to get us over and done with. When I walked in i was feeling aggravated and skyler customer service changed my mood !!! Thank you for your amazing customer service Skyler! Happy Customer !!!
