We went to this Big Lots to their furniture area today..oh my gosh we had the best experience ever!! We were helped by Mitch and Art who were the best we have ever dealt with at a Big Lots. In todays bad times with shipping in the USA we were so lucky to be able with the help of them to get a BED..We have over the years purchased a lot of really nice furniture from Big Lots ..TODAY A BEAUTIFUL BIG BROYHILL KING BED!! but the experience was made even better by dealing with them!! Mitch thank you for your help..you are something else!!! WE WILL BE BACK..AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHOPPING HERE!! they are so helpful👍😎😎

Ive been a customer of Big Lots for years and have always found what I needed. I know they have been working harder since Covid to make sure things are sanitary but the bathrooms have always been less than pleasant in the store. That is the only criticism I will give. I will continue to shop there however.

I mostly go there to get gluten free foods. They dont have many meals, but they have a lot of desserts. So I store as many as I can. They even have some cake mix boxed. They are very good.

Horrible experience! Ordered a recliner in March, still nothing Was told it was in. After special trip to pick it up, after a phone call and email advising it was in, only to be told sorry that was someone elses. No phone call, nothing. After arguing with Eric about how long it had been on order, apparently he cant read a calender. Its now June, went back in and got refund for deposit. Horrible customer experience and service. If you cant leave with your purchase, DONT order anything! Store has no business selling furniture.

Good prices and products, and a relatively well organized store. The salespeople were friendly and helpful. In some parts of the store, there are no prices posted, which I find a little irritating, as I dont generally want to hail a clerk just to know what an electric kettle costs. That said, if they have what youre looking for, odds are they have a good deal on it.

Good deals on housewares and even furniture. I always enjoy a trip to big lots.

Meridian, ID and Boise, ID stores are not big on good customer service. Came in to buy a couch. Meridian store doesnt have what we want in stock, the store manager wont sell floor model us, Boise store manager wont switch out a damaged model they have so we can purchase the floor model in Meridian. They wont have what we want in stock until end of this upcoming week, and wont set up delivery for the inconvenience. Extremely shocked by their lack of empathy and disappointed in their lack of customer service.

I went to Big Lots looking for particular Christmas items. But all their Christmas isles were depleted. They didnt even have the cor of wrapping paper I needed !! I was very disappointed !! 😟😟

If you havent walked into this store before youre in for a treat. Those of us who frequent it know theres ALWAYS a bargain to be found. Big Lots carries an assortment of name brands and off labels on pretty much everything you could need from soup to soap, at prices below retail.Clearance items are a double steal and the furniture department is amazing too.

Super friendly staff that was more than helpful and great prices for surprisingly quality furniture. Definitely recommend if youre trying to do anything on a budget. Even if youre not trying to do anything on a budget theyve got some great deals here.

Horrible assistant manager. She made a point to say there was a limit on bottled water. But no signs in store. Then she said after the election their will not be limits anymore. So I just left my 4 cases in my cart and left the store. I will never be back to this big lots. I was there at 11 am on 8/6/2020.

I came to this place to try to purchase some furniture that I seen in the Boise store, but they dont carry it here at the Meridian store. I asked if I could pay for it and have it shipped over here and they said no they explained to me that theres certain things that Boise store carries that they do not ever. So thats why Im doing the 1 star I dont see why they couldnt just take the money and have the Boise store ship to meridian or even have Big Lots distribution send it in, I have no problem waiting for it to arrive. As far as the employees go they were very nice and polite my 1 star doesnt go to the employees it just goes to their policy.

Lots of empty shelves

Good prices for the most part, but we have had several rough customer service experiences. The most recent of which was showing up a few minutes before closing for a quick run in and out because my daughter needed a glue stick. The two ladies told my daughters they couldnt come in because they wanted to be able to lock the doors at 9.

The staff at the store is great. However, the register crashed during my transaction and I got double charged as a result. So far its been 4 weeks and they still havent resolved the issue. I wont be shopping at any Big Lots anymore.

What can I say about this place? It has awesome deals on every thing, including furniture (indoor and out door), and I always come out with more than I went in for! Certain times of the day it is hard to find a parking space, but they do have handicap-assisted doors, and the staff is always friendly and very helpful.

I love big lots! Its sad theres only one location now. I travel from nampa to come to this one because I just like big lots. We got a few things from here that day but one of the cool things was these lights that a remote, pretty cool I think!

Cheap, can find some good finds. But under no circumstances every buy a grill from Big Lots. I put mine together exactly how the directions said, and it melted and fell apart while in use. Otherwise Ive had no problems. I bought my hand mixer from there and I love it.

Its sad to go into a place and still find that customer service is not a skill some people heard of or are evaluated for when working in retail. Mr Erik here at this store, what an example you are of what terrible customer service looks like. Fortunately I dont have to be sad for long about it because this is not a place I plan to shop at again. Thank you for doing me and others a service.

I found some great deals, however the store had an odd smell

Came in on 08/12/19As soon as we walked in the sales associate treated us with YOU ONLY HAVE 10 MINUTES We only needed 1 small item, which tools us all of 30 seconds to retrieve. At the register he continued to be rude as we tried making small talk. He glared and proceeded to throw our change into my husbands hand spilling half of it on the counter. Did not pick it up or apologize. No thank you nothing. I did not get his name. He was about 55 I would guesstimate early 20s, blond semi long wavy blond hair and glasses. Super rude!!!He definitely does not need to be in customer service.

I remember when Big Lots was McFrugals, then Pick and Save, then Big Lots. Well the chain anyway, I dont know about this Meridian location.This is a discount store and does have some furniture in it, too. Its an OK place to shop, nothing special, no clothing, or shoes-- basically, a small selection of toys, food, hygiene, cleaning supplies, and housewares. Its a cheep discount chain.

Always good prices. Big variety. Store is clean and friendly workers.

It has a lot of items for an inexpensive cost.

Rude staff and managers. Would not honor a sign stating a sale.

I love this place and I shop there often, great prices.

Holly was the BEST cashier...very friendly and her interaction with myself and my aunt and nephew was phenomenal.

Went shopping for a recliner for my wife. Their inventory was low today, but they had a truckload of furniture out back ready to unload. Mike the sales rep helping us let us know the showroom would be restocked later in the day if we wanted to come back later.More importantly Mike also informed us there would be an end of month sale on all furniture next weekend with 20% off on everything. So we will go back next weekend!I liked Mike!My wife did find some slippers she had been desperate for.

Stood in the furniture section for 15 minutes with no help. Fully intended to make a purchase but no one came to help. Oh well, my money will go elsewhere I guess.
