I love my hometown books-a-million! Everyone is friendly and its always clean and organized. Has been since I was a kid. I always stop by when Im in town :)

Very nice book store, but that term is not accurate. They offer games, clothing, a coffee bar and so much more. Movies, stuffed animals and collectables can be found here.The entire back wall of the store offers everything type of magazine you can imagine. Plus, for the smart shopper there are clearance items to be found throughout the store.

I thought all of these stores had closed and they were just online, but here we are! It was great to be able to browse through some books and get some coffee along with it.

My 10 yr old son loves books and looking at all the novelty items. Its so nice to walk in and have such a variety of choices to choose from and look at.

I love books a million. Id live there if I could. All the workers are so nice and helpful.

Arrived right at closing but we just needed some coffee. We are on a roadtrip on our way home to TX. Wish we could have actually looked thru all the books!! It was a fun Barnes and Noble style bookstore. But there was a Coffee shop inside called Joes Muggs. And they make some really good coffee!! At least for us tired travellers it really hit the spot. Thank you for serving us even as you were closing. Yall made us really happy!

Great Books A Million with a great selection to choose from! Lots of other merchandise like Funko Pop Vinyl figures and other little collectibles too. Very friendly and helpful staff!

The women at the the register was happy to help us & when I wasnt sure if I had a BAM card she wasnt upset when I gave her 2 different numbers and my last name and zip code and my name still didnt pop up. She was friendly and didnt mind setting me up for one after it was discovered I didnt have a card.

Wow I love this place !! Good place to go and just read and relax, plus it has the best coffee and snacks!! But it doesnt carry much on black history, and they have too much baby stuff . it has some educational stuff, I wish they carried more history and trivia for school I was looking for more activity books on the presidents for class. But an awesome place to shop.a real must shop place.

Love this store. Took my girls here often when they were young. Used to be a train and a large childrens area. Loved to let the kids play, read books, grab a cookie and hot chocolate. Could make a day of BAM. Still enjoy however wish there could be a better kids area as before.

Coffee is good. Staff is awesome. If you cant find what you are looking for they will stop and help you. Awesome place.

I love the atmosphere. They always greet you at the door and Joe Muggs smells wonderful especially when the have just brewed a new pot of coffee.

This is like any other BAM. AMAZING!!! Its as if though they only hire people that actually love working there. All the employees that were in the area where I looked at asked if I needed help. And they all looked happy to be there. Definitely a good vibe in the area. Found what I wanted and more (like always) and made my purchase. Ive said it before, and Ill say it again. I dont think theres ever been a time where I didnt enjoy going to these stores.

They had a decent selection, but they are pretty expensive. Thats pretty standard for bookstores, though. Ive definitely been to other locations of BAM with much better prices and selection. Its still a nice way to pass some time, but not my favorite.They were also pretty aggressive with the whole BooksAMillion Club/other things theyre required to sell you on at the register, which isnt the fault of the cashiers, but is pretty annoying.

Used to go to these as a kid in South Carolina to get Pokémon cards. Dont have them where I live in Texas. Dont know why. Its a great book store. Should be in more places. Would recommend to anyone to check one out.

As I went to check out first a little girl behind the counter was very for so long trying to sell me a membership after I denied and paid she says oh look you went three free magazines of your choice. She get my name and address and then give me a website and said if I didnt like it I could cancel it. That made me think so I asked her are they going to charge my debit card for this and she just oh yeah if you dont like it after months theyll start charging. If I hadnt have asked she wouldnt have told. So I told her never mind I didnt want it I wasnt around my house so I couldnt cancel she said well give me the address youre staying yet she was very forceful and would not take no for an answer I finally had to raise my voice and ask for the manager. She obviously worked on commission with that. Dear Books-A-Million dont push your promotions

Love hanging out here with my book and my caramel frappe at Joe Muggs off in the corner of the cafe/books-a-million. Well, plus, with my cousin. So many books to choose from and such great atmosphere. Always know that you will be greeted kindly when you walk through the door as well as when you are exiting.

An older gentleman was walking around with a younger man who was talking loudly about sports, and when the older man turned the corner to find me reading he told loudmouth to be quiet. Shhhh, shes reading. I love that guy, and hope he has a very Merry Chrizzma.

Even though so much stuff is available on the Internet its always nice to be able to actually go into a store and put your hands on a book and be able to hold it in your hands and actually read it and be able to lay down and take the time to look at the hard copy enjoy the feeling of knowing that a person spent hours and hours of their time to publish something that they enjoyed and put it in paperback and that you actually have a place to go to where you can find that book that youve been looking for and Books-A-Million is just that a place with millions of books where you can find the one that youre looking for

Danny was the best associate I have ever come in contact with. I went in with intention of browsing until it was time for me to head to an interview and I walked out with 3 books. He sold me on Greek mythology very quickly. He was very kind and extremely attentive to what I was inquiring about. Great service!

Friendly staff with a great atmosphere. They have a very large book selection and if, by chance, they dont have the book you want, theyll order it for you and have it shipped to your house. I dont know what it is about the place but its very relaxing. I cant speak on behalf Joes Muggs as I have nvr had any of their coffee selection before.

Love the selection and prices are not bad at all. Wish they had the reading nooks still.

I love going in to have coffee with friends and browsing the book isles. It has a inviting atmosphere and friendly employees.

I just walked out of this store because when I was browsing the magazine rack to see Playboy and Maxim on the front of the rack. This should not be!! Where has decency gone? I talked to the mgr he did move, but said that that is where they are supposed to be.

A fun bookstore that has an assortment of books wider than an offensive lineman. They even have funky puzzles and games. I have a hard time resisting the urge to buy something whenever Im in here.

RUDE!!! NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS!!I literally stayed in line to buy a coke for 20 minutes, while oneof the workers was standing there cleaning. You could have atleast taken my order. WHICH SHE NEVER DID, so I walk out ofthe place. They do not deserve anyones business!! I DO NOTRECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN MERIDIAN, MS.

Previously rated 5 stars, but after visiting other BAM and bookstores I find the selection mediocre. A bit over priced as well, but the incident that made me take the time to edit my review is, I drove 45 mins to purchase a specific book, and was wagged away by a cashier, with her finger in a no-no demeanor 15 minutes before closing. All the employees had vacated the parking lot by 9 PM. Unless you just need to kill some time, save your time and money for another store or online.
