Extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve taken my car there a few times now, and always felt they were honest, did a great job, and did not overcharge. This last time unfortunately my car was toast. They gave me options and allowed me time to think about and figure out what I was going to do. I also really appreciate that they break things down for me when explaining issues, and they never make me feel stupid or like a “dumb woman.” I’m definitely going to stick with Driven Automotive. Having moved to the Boise area 2+ years ago and in need of basic service on my Lexus RX450H, I researched authorized Lexus service groups near where I live. Driven Automotive came up and had excellent reviews. That appointment told me why. They were quick, professional, very courteous and covered everything that needed to be completed during this appointment at a significantly reduced rate from what I would have paid at a Lexus dealership.Fast forward to today. I tried to start my car early this morning only to find the check battery symbol on. AAA responded quickly (Clay with Country Repair and Towing) and managed to get enough charge that I could drive somewhere. I contacted Driven Automotive who, despite a booked schedule, found a battery for my car (a hybrid, no less) and had it installed within a few hours of my call. Similar to my previous experience with Driven, they were extremely professional and completed the work quickly enough that I was able to wait there for my vehicle. They even checked all of the basic fluids, etc. in my vehicle and replaced my key fob battery. If all of that wasnt enough to convince me to give Driven Automotive all of my future business, they were even incredibly fair in the price they charged me.I cannot say enough positive things about Driven Automotive. If you are ever in need of any type of automobile service, do yourself a favor and call them. You will absolutely be glad you did.

Driven Automotive recently conducted a complete overhaul on my 2001 Pontiac Aztek that included major work on the engine, cooling systems, electrical and even window repairs.About 4 weeks afterwards, my car wouldn’t start and the temperature gauge wasn’t working. I dropped the vehicle off at Driven on a Sunday night. Danielle called me early on Monday to get details. My car was repaired, tested and available for pick up quickly. They refused payment because they said repairs feel under their satisfaction guarantee.I can’t say enough about the integrity, the quality of service and Dean wonderful people at Driven Automotive. Amazing people, I had brakes plus tranny flushed and it was still MUCH cheaper than Toyota!

Took my car here to get my valve gasket cover fixed. Very knowledgeable and honest! My car kept dying on me and I couldn’t figure out the problem. They diagnosed my car and found it was one of the spark plugs that had a misfire. They changed that for me. I also had a wrong screw to hold my battery and they changed that for me without charged. I worked with Danielle and April and they’re awesome and very friendly.

Driven Automotive is the epitome of everything I look for in an auto repair shop. Brian and his staff are exceptional at what they do and do it with class and professionalism. They specialize in Lexus and Toyota but have complete competence in all makes and models. My experience with them has been superb and they have always been honest with me. I highly recommend them as I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else.

When you have to repair vehicles, it is always a bad day. Our teen son broke down in Mountain Home and we had his vehicle towed to Driven for hopefully some not terrible news. April told him that it would be a couple days before they could look at it but she got back to him as promised within that time period. The news was awful, his first vehicle he had paid $3,500 cash for (less than 2 years ago) was a total loss. The bearings in the engine had been loose and did so much damage the engine was going to have to be replaced for a total of $5,000. Obviously, he was not going to afford to put that much money into his Subaru but we appreciated their honesty and that they had treated our son kindly when he was doing this transaction on his own. Hes pretty crushed and now saving for another vehicle before college starts in August. But he said Mom, I will take the next vehicle Im looking at to Driven before I buy it. Driven had our business, now our teens are trusting them with their business!

I talked with April from driven automotive about my rear break pad needed to be repaired and they were quickly, honest people to get the job done on a timely manner. I know that they did a better job than Big O tire company that charged more for that brake pads and rotors combine. I will surely go back to driven automotive again for their service.

Driven Automotive had been a great relationship for me and my broken cars. They are professional, timely, and affordable. The work has always been satisfactory and they not only warranty their work, they stand behind it.The fuel pump on my wifes SUV recently failed. I had it towed to Driven late that night and called them the next morning. It took a couple days to order the part and get it installed since I wasnt on their regular schedule of work. Three weeks later the new fuel pump failed. Again I had it towed, a new part was ordered and I had the SUV back in three days, this time at no charge. I truly appreciate that.Driven has worked on my current and past vehicles. Ill continue to take the work there I dont want to tackle. And April is great to work with there. Shes professional, nice, and always returns my calls.

We’ve taken our cars here for years and are always impressed with the service we receive. The team is great at explaining the problem so you know what is going on. They call and provide a cost breakdown before doing any work so you know exactly what the work will cost you. I really trust their judgment when they tell me what is worth paying for and what can wait. The staff is always friendly and they have always completed repairs on time.

This place is awesome! My heater stopped working suddenly a couple days ago. I called Driven at 8am to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me in the same day. They fixed the problem in an hour and a half. The staff was extremely nice and explained everything thoroughly. And fair prices! I will definitely recommend and be back if needed!

Highly dissappointed in this place! Took my Subaru there previously and was charged $2700 for blown gasket repair last March 2018. I understand this is not an easy repair and many other things were changed while we were in there because they were going to need it anyway. But, supposedly, all things new and placed. Fast forward to now, Jan 2019, I take it in because its missing. Danielle calls me back, first of 3 calls, to tell me my oil is bone dry, but assured me there was no leak. Now I just had oil changed there in Oct. 2018. So less than 3 months and its bone dry? Long story short, I go there and talk to head mechanic guy, I think his name was Brian. He assures me theres no leak and the car is just a quart low, but that I need new spark plugs, to the tune of $$. I wanted a second opinion, and glad I did!!! I took it to Johns, and they were exceptional. Not only did they save all parts that needed to be replaced, spark plugs, wires, coils etc, but they took pictures of where my car was leaking oil from the previous repair/ replacement. You know the one, the one where 2 mechanics from Driven said I had no oil leaking, that they couldnt find any leaks.I plan on taking this picture to Driven to hopefully rectify the situation of leaking/ not leaking oil. Maybe they will make it right and stand beside there work, or maybe not. Will update later.

We had our Ford Expedition and Chevy Avalanche in for emergency repairs the week before Christmas. April and Cody, the service managers, were great. Very happy. Reasonable cost. Excellent turn around.

Three years ago I went to Driven Automotive at the suggestion of another mechanic that couldnt fix my car because he didnt have the specialty equipment. I went to Driven and had a good experience, so these guys have been my go-to shop ever since. Over the past 3 years I have had nothing but good experiences there, with several different cars. What kind of good experiences? Well, once I took my car in with the dreaded check engine light on, they looked it all over and called me to let me know that the part that needed to be replaced was quite expensive ($500+) and that while they could get the part for me, I would be better off finding a used one online and buying it, then taking it in to them to do the replacement for me. I found the part online (used) for $150 shipped. I bought it, took it in, and paid them for an hour or two of labor to replace it.Since when are mechanics this awesome? These guys are, and they do it right. Ive had several good experience like this with them, including with my moms van after I picked it up from a rip-off mechanic who was wanting to charge $1,200 to replace her A/C compressor. These guys got her right in and back on the road the next day, for half of the quote from the other shop. These guys know what theyre doing and theyre serious about treating people right. I couldnt recommend them any higher.

I stopped by Driven to have my check engine light diagnosed. I was greeted by June and she got Danielle to assist me. Danielle enlisted the assistance from Josh to complete the procedure. Josh found the problems immediately and knew exactly how to resolve the situation. Josh, Danielle and June were fantastic! Great company! Great people!

Brian provides excellent service. His shop is clean and efficient and he takes the time to listen to and inform his customers - its apparent that he truly cares about the work he does. I was headed over to his shop this Christmas Eve to get an engine light checked and I popped a tire on the way over. He drove over to where I was, changed my tire in the slush and snow and fixed my engine light. Hes just a good guy and his business and relations with his customers reflect that.

Service price was as quoted on an A/C pump replacement on an 01 Suburban. We ended up replacing one extra part as a precaution which was warranted and prudent. Price was better than any around and well worth it considering the 1 year parts and labor warranty.Driven was recommended to me by my next door neighbor and I wasnt disappointed.Overall I get the feeling they are interested in making me happy.

This place deserves the 5-star rating! Driving through Boise on a cross-country move, and had a car emergency early in the morning. They were able to get it diagnosed and fixed within an hour, and I was out and on my way. I hope I can find a place like this where Im headed!

My 2003 Lexus GS-300 needed a new engine.I bought an Engine from a wholesaler, then shipped the Engine and the Car to Driven Automotive.Mr. Johnson installed the new engine, and got the car running perfectly!I was then able to sell the car.If not for Driven Automotive....i wouldnt have been able to sell my vehicle.The service was Perfect!And the turn-around was much less than expected.I would ONLY take a vehicle into Driven Automotive!Great staff & pricing.Thank You.

Today I needed to drive from LaGrande, OR to Meridian, ID. When I had almost made it my car was definitely having issues. We stopped in here, and these guys are wonderful! I had recently had some work done on my car, and apparently the mechanic who had fixed my car before hadnt screwed in the drive shaft the whole way and the rear had jusr fallen out! These guys fixed it enough for me to get home, at no charge! They were wonderful, quick, and very helpful. Cant thank them enough.

Back in middle of December I had my 1991 Toyota pick up towed to driven automative. Where at first I wasnt very pleased.. becuase I paid money just to not have it working the next day.. However I brought my concerns to April and her team. They were able to find the real issue after having the full bqck story on what was wrong.. and didnt charge me extra to correct it.. definitely turned my 1 start into more the 5 if i could.. my truck hasnt had an issue since.. Have had a clutch replaced here in a Lexus as well as a small window fix-up in a Saab, staff is responsive and helpful and have been very happy with both repairs Ive had done here.

April and everyone else there is awesome. Planned on spending $500+ for something & they found a way to fix the problem for $80. If you have a Toyota, its a no-brainer.

I was very disappointed with the service from Driven. Our Jeep wasnt starting without being jumped, so we took it to Driven. After paying them nearly $600, it still wasnt starting without being jumped. It just sat in our driveway and after a few months it wouldnt even start with jumper cables. I tried contacting Driven to see if they would warranty their work, but they never contacted me.

I am grateful for the knowledge and skills of the staff at Driven Automotive who have been able to identify the problem(s) with my Lexus, provide an estimate that is reasonable, and perform the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Drive Automotive.
