Had a great experience at this shop and working with Steve. He made sure my truck got the parts it needed and fixed it quickly. He even went in after hours when I came back saying something still didn’t seem right in order to fix it. I would definitely use this shop again as they are good, honest workers.

My Very first time using Expert Auto, I went in for a headlight issue on my Ford Taurus, and found out it was a blown out headlight fuse. They fixed the issue and within two days, i got my car back. I was referred to Expert Auto through Facebook, at first I was skeptical. Our vehicle would not start and we need to have 2 vehicles due to different work hours. I decided to reach out and ask a few question, questions. Steve was very honest. We towed the vehicle to his shop, the next day we were given the diagnosis. He stayed the vehicle would be up and running by lunch the next day. I received a message the next day about 10:30 that the vehicle was ready. Very impressed. When we got the vehicle back the radio did not work, but did before. Steve reached out to us to see how everything was going. When I mentioned the radio he stated to bring it back and will address the problem. I would recommend Expert Auto for future repairs.

Traveling to our home in Pennsylvania after visiting a friend our vehicle had an issue causing me to have to get diagnosed and serviced. Not familiar with the area, I called AAA for a tow to the nearest auto repair location (fingers crossed at this point). Tow truck driver really saved us, as the repair shop AAA referred us to was a body shop and no longer provided mechanical repairs. I was able to drive my vehicle, so the tow truck driver guided me to Steve’s, Expert Auto shop.. it was late in the day, Steve was on his way out but said he would take a look first thing in the morning. He not only got to it first thing in the AM but got me back on the road by 11:00 am. Got a fair estimate for brake caliper replacement and the work completed in a couple of hours. We made the final 200 mile drive home with no further incident. Steve did a great job, he was quick but thorough and very customer focused. If I lived in Meriden CT he would be the only mechanic I would go to. Fair price, quality work and genuinely cares for his customers. Thanks Steve. I heard a clicking grinding noise in my car. Called Steve and brought my car in. They found out there was a rock in my braking system. Took the breaks off, got rid of the rock and my car is all fixed. Had my car back by the afternoon. Very quick and professional.

After having a regular mechanic for nearly 15 years, it’s a bit stressful and overwhelming to move to a new state and begin the search anew. I’m in a touring band, so it’s both critical my vehicle is in top shape before I leave and just as important that it’s assessed for any new problems upon my return. I’m really fortunate that I found Steve Oakes and the team at Expert Auto because not only are they thorough in their work, they are fair in pricing and their customer service is top notch. I live over an hour away from the garage, so it becomes a two hour drive for me just to get new brakes- but that’s how much it’s worth going there.

They were great. Got in and out same day. Estimate was same as I paid so no worries there. Very polite and professional. Great guy, good personality, easy to talk to and he listened to everything I needed or wanted and got it done.

I dropped my Chevy off because I was smelling fuel. They had it diagnosed within a day and fixed in 2. Kept in contact with me on updates and price. As soon as the problem was diagnosed I was informed of the problem, price and time. Would and have recommended Expert Auto Services to friends anytime.

I had an oil leak and didn’t know what might be the cause. I was worried it would be a very expensive job. The work wasn’t as extensive as I had feared and Expert Auto was great at finding the issue and repairing my car. They were honest and reasonably priced for the job. I will be using them again in the future.

They replaced my start 6 months ago and the starter died again . Most places would give you a song and dance about replacing it . But expert they stood behind their work and put a new starter in under warranty. These guys are great been doing business with them since they move to the east side . I tell everyone to go there .
