Finally got my appointment in and wow i was amazed at the job they did very helpfull and at a very good price too Best place to go to in Merced forsure!!!! Will be returning soon!

Super knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate that they seem to understand that not every customer is trying to build a high-end custom system. They were able to diagnose the problem with my sons stock audio system quickly and directed us to a nice, but affordable replacement. I also like that they came out to the car to help him pair his phone and give a little tutorial instead of just sending him off to figure it out on his own. Nice service!

The best shop in merced..The only problem is trying to get a appointment.. Because they do superior work they dont have openings anymore..my life sucks!! I have 2 10s and cant get them put in

P1 blew out right away and they won’t help pretty much said go f your self do not go here for car audio.

Huge shout out to the gentleman down here! They just installed an alarm with pin switches on 3 of my service trucks, they were professional, delivered completion on time, and their pricing was on point. The quality of thier work was great as well! Will definatly be a returning customer.

Eric and his staff were amazing to work with. They did a great job on my boat install as everything sounds amazing. They even did a few custom designed pieces that have yet to be done on the Supreme ZS232. Thank you!

Over the years I have gone here for a variety of items and reasons, not once have I been disappointed. This last time I went in with a specific request and they had to make sure they could get everything I wanted. They got back to me inside the time period they promised and gave me a reasonable quote.

Very good work had them install a system in my boat sounds great ..

In July my son went to Sound Encounter to have his system installed and to purchase a box that would fit in his new truck. He was never informed the box would not actually fit making his middle seat not usable. The box was not even the right size, it was screwed in to his back wall carpet in a hanging position. The amp was not mounted properly. When he went back to have it fixed they blew him off and refused to fix it. They said he could purchase a custom box for more money. Disappointed in their service he went to Car Plus on 16th street looking for help. They offered him the right box far lower than Sound Encounter was willing to offer for their screw up. Sadly, we have use Sound Encounter more than once but never again!

Great knowledgable staff and awesome products. Installation work is amazing! Have had two trucks, a sxs, toyhauler, and boat done here. Wouldnt consider going anywhere else!
