I had not been in HP Grocery since they closed, but I decided to run in for a quick pickup of needed ingredients and I was very impressed. Every aisle has been updated. They now have a beer garden, and still carry all if the same local foods that was carried by the previous owner. Everyone is friendly and gracious when you need something specific. The vegetable/fruit area was inviting and was not as expensive as before. I will definitely be there for more of my grocery shopping because Kroger is not the same as it use to be, too many people hitting you up for money inside the store. I hope new management will address that issue. So my shout out to high point grocery for being the best little grocery store in Memphis. See you sooner than later.

Initially this was a 5 star, but since change owner, you better check expiration date on everything, especially meat

Its just a neighborhood grocery store, but then again its a whole lot more. You can buy everyday groceries and fresh specialty foods from around Memphis. High Point is also building a great little mixer section that has many items I havent seen in other grocery stores.

My go-to favorite grocery. I can get in and out quickly. the butcher is great. they most everything i have to get. the vegetables are improving. and many specialty items. very friendly. they carry my groceries for me without my asking.

What a neat place! Decent overall selection but we came for the abundance of locally sourced items and were thrilled with the options! Fair pricing.

Really good selection for a small, neighborhood grocery. Features many locally made and crafted products. Meat uber fresh looking. Vegetables looked fresh, as well. Purchased steaks, pimento cheese, preserves, PictSweet butter beans, which I havent seen in forever. Will be back.

Great place to shop

Highpoint Grocery, as are all the other businesses in the center, one of the great, if lesser-known, neighborhood gems in the Memphis area. When our kids were very young, we often referred to it as The Little Store, if only relative to a Super-Kroger store or even locally-owned Super-Lo, but it long-served as a reliable neighborhood business. As good as it was prior to its COVID-induced closure and acquisition by Cash Savers, I think its even better now.

Watch the sell by dates on the meat, packaged and fresh. Update: just found another item from dairy that was way out of date. Check everything!

This place is a gem. I have taken to shopping for all my meats there. The quality (and flavor) is far above and beyond anything youll find at the big chain grocery stores, and the prices are competitive. You can ask for cuts to your specifications, and watch as their butchers trim the various cuts for packaging. They welcome questions and happily steer you towards your best bets.The rest of the store is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, with an emphasis on local sourcing, and tailored to their customers personal preferences.

A deliciously quaint pizza shop tucked quietly and unassumingly away in the high point Terrance neighborhood. This nerve center of the highpoint area is home to a cluster of convenient shops and businesses. Good prices and completely satisfying portions with no shortage on quality dishes.

It’s still a great neighborhood place but over the years people have died off employees have left there’s still a good few loves and Mark but has changed and boy the prices the prices

I love this place so much. Its like stepping back in time.. just like a little country grocery store with a large selection of items and lots of items from local mom and pop companies.

Grocery store in walking distance in High Point. Nearby neighborhoods can bike to it safely along the greenway. Good beer selection of local brew and craft brewers. The meat department can get you ready for a cookout.

A great place for a quick visit for cooking necessities, small and has almost everything your gonna need. The butcher is top notch, and he personally selects the meat, and you can give him you name and number, and he will call you when he gets what youre looking for (high quality selects of meat).
