I contacted the overhead door company after another company that called did not show up. Overhead came as scheduled. The technician was polite and he started work immediately. The springs were replaced and my door was balanced. The lifter limits were set properly, all for the lowest price that I have ever paid. I was very pleased.

Our garage door opener (which was installed by Overhead Door several years ago) stopped working after we experienced a power surge. We contacted Overhead Door and they sent a service tech to check it out. Nick arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and reprogrammed the opener and remotes. Fast, prompt, courteous service. Highly recommended!

My garage door broke at my house and superior wanted 164.95 per spring and would not sell me the springs even though i am qualified to install them. Overhead door told me 64 and some change and would sell me the spings. can get them cheaper off internet but i need my springs today. Have to get my lower out of garage

My experience with this company is similar to some others that have posted here. I called to have a spring replaced on a portable building door, mentioning to the dispatcher several times that it was a portable building and asked if the spring would have to be ordered. I was assured the technician would have the spring on his truck. The technician arrived on time but informed me he only did residential doors but would measure the spring to determine what spring was required. After multiple phone calls to his office, he said that someone would check their inventory and get back with me. 2 days later, I called to see what was going on and was told the spring would have to be ordered, which would take several more days. I gave up, called DeSoto Door Company and am on my way to having my door repaired without a lot of poor communication.

The technicians come on time and do good work. The problem is in the office. I called and left a voice mail on Dec 26. Figuring they were closed for Holidays and weather, I waited to Jan 3 to call again. They claim to never have received the voice mail and could not come for a week. When they came, the tech diagnosed the problem quickly and put a temp fix to the problem. They made an appointment to return in a week to install the new motor. When a different tech arrived, he said he was only there to check out the motor, not replace it. He left telling us he had to order the parts. We had the estimate and work order in our hand from the previous techs inspection a week earlier. This tech could do nothing as it was not on his work list. He left and we called the office and got every excuse in the book, inc that the office was on vacation for the past 3 weeks! Must be the best place to work in Memphis. Told the office to quit talking as they were nothing but lies. They came back 1 hour later and installed the motor. This repair took 4 weeks. Inexcusable. Try some one else for overhead doors. I plan to. I have used them for 40 years on 9 doors on my farm in DeSoto County. Now in Memphis for a residential condo job and its a 4 week wait.

Technician Josh is the worst employee a company could ever hire. This employee was rude and very impatience and I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for garage door repair. Since he was ready to go I asked him to leave my property and never to return. Poor customer service

Service manager told me when to expect technician. Dean was right on time and did what i thought to be a 3 man job, i less than 2 by himself.
