Coffee is DELICIOUS always great, but the service is so rude and is such a disaster. It’s the same people every time and I’m always left wondering what I did. Literally can’t even get a question out before they start walking away. This morning I misunderstood him and he literally rolled his eyes at me and I was trying to place a large order. I’m so over them. I’d rather get up early and go somewhere else than go here even though I work two floors up. I was a barista and can understand a bad day but it’s EVERY TIME. Literally makes me want to cry
Great coffee and freshly roasted coffee beans. Always fantastic service!
Love the coffee and the wonderful space. Hate the music, which the shop does not control.
The coffee and location are great. Their customer service is unpredictable. Some of the baristas can be rude at times.
Good coffee (especially New Orleans cold brew), great staff.GO!
The coffee smells amazing, but what I really like is their food. The quinoa salad is delicious but so are their baked goods. I would definitely recommend them to more people. The employees are friendly, wearing masks, and keeping everything sanitary.
The French Truck is a cool spot with horrific coffee in the SUPER NICE Concourse Building in Memphis. Great place to meet a friend and chit chat. But...B Y O.C. (Bring Your Own Coffee)
They did not do the best job with my food. The black guy who was the cashier was really rude to me and I asked for a certain drink but guy making the drinks gave me the wrong one. Not to mention the food later made me sick. I won’t be going there anymore.
A preferred place for tasty cafe food. food was super flavorful. will surely make a return trip. food and atmosphere reminds me of kansas city.
I was totally amazed at the friendliness and helpfulness of the stuff. Im not a fan of coffee but at this point I would drink it again. Will def be back.
I love their coffee and the breakfast is really good, too! If you dont want to stand around in long brunch lines, but want a delicious early meal, this is the place for you.
I really miss this place. Its not closed or anything. Its just the fact that their hours are too restrictive. Its on the way to and from work. I would stop by and pick up a bag of coffee and a New Orleans ice coffee when I was running low. With the hours being 8am to 3pm, I can never make it there anymore.
One of my favorite coffee shops to visit. Its located right in the heart of crosstown concourse, which has plenty of areas to chat or get work done.
My favorite spot for tasty cafe food. The service here is better than most.
Employee was unfamiliar with new Shelby County health codes and refused us service. Stating that we were on private property. It is not private property. It is a public space. Very unprofessional.
I love to get the cold brew concentrates and top them at home with a seltzer water or almond milk. I save so much money plus I can make it as strong as id like.
Get a medium roast from these fine folks 4 or 5 times a week. All the baristas are wonderful!
Really great coffee. I prefer the NOLA Cold Brew, but others are very good as well. 4 stars due to it being quite pricey...UPDATE: Response from owner suggests they offer a multi-use cup with incentives to bring it back! Cant wait to invest in one! Cheers
Staff have always been super helpful and friendly. I did get the Salmon toast today. The only issue Ihad was that they did three different acidic melodies that over powered the taste of the lox and accompanying accoutrements. They added olive oil and lemon. You have the natural oil from the fish and the acidic from the capers. If I didnt wallk 2 miles to get here and wasnt hungry for some CarbS, I probably wouldnt have eaten it.I had originally given a 4 star review, which was PREMEDITATED Upon exiting I went backto the counter, and had asked for a fill of water in my pre- existing cup from my purchase. I was embarking on the two mile walk back home. The gentlemen atthe counter said he would have to dump the ice out of my cup and dispose ofit and charge me for another Cup for water.THAT WILL BE MY LAST TRIP TO FRENCH TRUCK COFFEE
Great coffee
Wonderful iced latte. The best. Good coffee selections if you need fresh beans for your own machine.
Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend walking around or going up a couple floors. A variety of seating is scattered throughout. Great place to relax.
I went here yesterday morning and orderedPimento toast and IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! I was so beyond pleased with the taste, presentation and service. My food was brought out to my by one of the kitchen staff who was smiling, friendly and brought a treat out to my dog! This is my third time coming to French truck and I have never had such a pleasant experience. Keep up the good work!
Great roasterie! We were passing through and bought a couple bags of beans and a couple drinks. Well definitely be hitting up one of the NOLA locations. Thanks for the great experience!
Our family buys the dark roast beans for our home and definitely loves the medium roast as well. There are fruity tents in their coffee. So refreshing!
Good food and coffee but the staff seem reluctant to serve me. And Im never the one to pull the race card but it was pretty obvious that they really wasnt happy about taking my order
Great coffee, great place to eat, friendly people
Good bean roasted from this place. But they need to get bigger size cups and more flavors
Always my fav! Love the New Orleans Iced Coffee! Had 2 today lol! Super friendly staff and love the punch card!
Their ice coffee is the bomb!!!! Best eva
Just like my favorite New Orleans locations. French truck is a third wave shop that has a great selection of their in-house roasted coffees prepared by pour over or experienced as espresso beverages. They have some small plates for lunch and breakfast and pastries for anytime. Also have a great selection of teas!
This coffee is 🔥🔥🔥🔥! I 😍 love it. The best in Mem so far. I tried many coffee places in the area and got to give it 5 stars.
New establishment to the crosstown building. The coffee is excellent as well as the employees are pleasingly helpful and energetic. Love this place for good clean service and smiles to match.
Best coffee in memphis, no contest. I wish they would have fresher bags to take home- they roast M-F but when i get there on the weekends they usually have something between 4 and 12 days old, so i mostly order bags online from different roasters. They also run low sometimes, so the bag i want may not be available. Wish that wasnt the case. If there was a way to fresh order french truck with a site like trade coffee i would buy from them everytime. Too long of a drive to not get the bag i came in for, or for the bag to be a week old. The first 4 or 5 days after roasting, FT coffee is amazing. After the 4 or 5 days, the taste isnt the same.
Great setup inside a beautiful space. Nice selection of coffees, draft beer, pastries and other small plates. The Peru Cajamarca, prepared as a “pour over”, was a tasty cup of coffee.
If you are like me....a great coffee bean is akin to a fine wine grape...and it takes searching, tasting, disappointment, searching some more and finally success! As a new Memphian, transplanted from L.A., this was my quest, for the perfect bean. Enter Yellow Truck...not only do I love their logo...and the refreshingly brilliant team of baristas at the Crosstown location - Liv...she was amazing, knowledgeable and patient-...i asked a million questions, tasted several different brews and think I found my love in the La Nouvelle - New Orleans blend w/chicory...yes, chicory....its been forever...i left with a free cup with my bean purchase, a free bean punch card and a smile!Thank you Liv...welcome to Memphis...and you are an awesome French Truck ambassador who should get a raise for your stellar customer service!
Visited French Truck @ Crosstown the week they opened to the public. They are awesome! The have great baristas, good variety of coffee on their menu. Eli was a great and barista. They also have some of the best beans in town if you want to take some home to brew yourself. Grab a cup of coffee and explore the Crosstown Concourse!
One of the best things about this gem of a coffee spot is the drip coffee!!
Very nice, relaxed atmospher with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Had an Ethiopian pour over. It was great! Coffee roasted on site. The location is really cool as well.
I had a similar experience as one which someone mentioned earlier. My first impression was an extremely condescending barista, or whatever he was. He acted put out because I wasnt sure what I wanted, and we were the only people in line. I worked as a server for about 8 years, and I understand that people may have a bad day from time to time. But theres no reason to be snobby or condescending.
Good coffee, good service
I just had an Americano and husband had a pour over. Lots of cool fancy equipment and very polite staff. Answered all our unhip questions about their 18 hour drip, funny named beans, and bottled cold brewed chicory coffee. While waiting, I wondered why the coffee bar smelled so hoppy, then I noticed they sell beer too. Going to try the chocolate croissant next time. Oh and they have short and tall seating in the crosstown concourse. GREAT people watching. AND I could see the bakers in the back and they were happy and laughing as they worked the dough. Cant wait to try more menu items at French Truck Coffee.
I arrived at 3:05, they wouldnt sell me a bag of beans. Very disappointed.
Great selection of single origin beans. My pour over was fantastic.
Always a good experience here, coffee is great with a ton of varieties and different preparations of coffee. They also have a punch card, which is dope.
Awesome selection of coffee and pastries.
The turkey sandwich and house chips are the best lunch treat!
Outstanding coffee and chocolate croissant! So glad my daughter found this
One of my favorite new places to study, take a meeting or just be. Staff and coffee are great.
Great service, great coffee, and quick breakfast options!
Always fantastic service, incredible drinks, and phenomenal food. No waits, polite and knowledgeable staff, and a solid menu.
Delicious unusual food
Yes its ok, better than sbuck
Guess these guys are worn out from the opening yesterday. Didnt buy any coffee after encountering two very snobby workers. Walked away actually.... Disappointing considering ur new to Memphis! Wheres ur southern hospitality?
Great coffee at wonderful prices. The oji coldbrew is especially recommended!
Different coffees, good prices, nice staff, clean cafe
Had a great hot Americano served quickly.
Awesome place, good coffee
Coffee was ok a little green but that was the roast I chose. Great place to sit and chat.

Great variety of quality coffee, friendly baristas, and delicious food!
Great place for some original coffee and fun food
Amazing service and amazing coffee with good beers on tap
