The older I get, the more I am fascinated with history. I enjoy looking through architectural antique places like this, but this time, the owner showed us items he personally found interesting and had personal meaning. He obviously loves what he does, and his interest and energy was infectious. I could have stayed longer, but we only had stopped in on a whim.
Fantastic selection of antique items. Perfect for finding things for a home restoration. Friendly owner. I could spend hours here!
Wow! If you love architecture, vintage, Victorian, cast iron designs, cast iron tubs & sinks, wood file cabinets, fireplace mantels, glass Victorian and vintage door knobs, locks & so many other things with ornate details...this is your candy store. I could easily spend hours in here. Make your list, take your measurements, & shop here first for your DIY Remodel Project...wish I had more time & a bigger house to renovate...fun! Fun! Fun!

Awesome shop with great inventory and knowledgeable staff
The most amazing wonderland of things, ever. Make sure to give yourself ample time to see all three (3), yes three, floors. My first time was almost 2 hours.
Wonderful. Simply wonderful. A gold mine of reasonably-priced antiques of all sizes, shapes, materials. Bought a Tiffany-style light there - gorgeous.
If you need something to restore your house, they probably have it. From doors and windows, lockets, knobs, light fixtures, and stained glass windows. Awesome place to go and browse.
What a great place! If you are ever starting a business or re-habbing a home, this is a fantastic place to find stuff.
Amazing things! Well organized. High end.
If you want to find true antiques four-year-old house, this is the place to go. An awesome lesson in history just walking through the place.
Great place if youre looking for antiques and period pieces. Great wood and metal pieces. Friendly staff. Three floors of great treasures.
Lots of stuff. Very helpful. I got a 1920s era fireplace mantel
I have been here a few times and enjoy searching its dusty eclectic diverse selection that is junk and treasure. My beef? After searching for two hours through depths of crusty dusty junk, nearly injuring myself in the deep process, I took a simple wooden box to the register and the guy working there says nope cant sell that, as well as two other pieces. I ended up leaving there with only half the stuff I wanted to purchase. There should be a way for someone working the cash register to price the items when customers drag this stuff up a flight of stairs with no help. I did not get mad, I just would have liked to spend more money there. The male cashier made it impossible.
If you love Antiques, this is the place to go. My first time and I will be going back. The building has so much history too!
First time and last time customer. Bought and paid for two, two man saw blades. Asked the store to hold them for two days. I call to let them know Im coming to pick them up, only to be told I needed to pay more money because they sold them to me at the incorrect price. After being indirectly accused of waiting until the owner left to take advantage of unknowing employees (by the owner over the phone), I was able to negotiate an agreeable price from the original 143 with tax to 200 even. Only to show up and have the same employee who sold them to me tell me it was 200 plus tax. The store was amazing and it was my unfortunate luck to stop in for the first time on a Sunday afternoon drive.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE South Front Antiques!!!! Whenever I am in Memphis I make sure to stop in. I found several treasures and brought them back to South Florida. The owner is friendly and the staff is very knowlegeable . Favorite place in Memphis.....
Antique architectural everything! Great place to loose hours 😋
Amazing stuff. 90% not marked so you have to ask.
Youll need a couple of hours to look through the huge amounts if stuff piled all around and leaning against walls. Very neat place to find antique home items like doors, door knobs, windows and hardware in that antique era. I was overwhelmed by the huge stacks and piles and ended up not buying anything. Not everything was priced and I didnt ask because it was a hassle to go get the clerk every 5 minutes! LolLots of neat large industrial gears and machinery parts.
This is a must see in Memphis for anyone who enjoys antiques! The largest collection of historical items I have ever seen.
Loved this placed and will return to purchase some items
