Hagens automotive repair is great. I have been taking my cars there for years. Mark is always very honest with any quotes and the work is done on time. Very clean shop. Ryan also helped get in for an appt this last time and they did a great job! I recommend them to my neighbors.

Mark has an amazing shop and great guys working for him! He always takes care of my car and makes sure nothing is wrong. They fill up all fluids with the oil change and will even check tires for air, as well as any general repairs that you may need. They are honest guys and will never overcharge, and give you truthful opinions! THEY ARE NOT OUT FOR YOUR MONEY!!! How many mechanics can you say that about???

Mark, Ryan & the rest of the guys are the best. I was referred to Hagen’s a few years ago and never looked back. I had a front end sound that would not go away. They spent some serious time investigating it. After all was done and said I was extremely pleased with the work and the very fair pricing.

I had an out of state inspection on a vehicle I was interested in. Within an hour the did a full inspection at a great cost! They were detailed in their review of the vehicle and told me the little things that the dealer did not so they could be fixed before I bought the vehicle. I am completely satisfied with their work and I will be using them again when I buy another vehicle. Thank you so much Mark!

Brought my sons car in for a check up. They told me what I needed and didnt try to sell me what I didnt need. Even told me to wait on replacing tires, as I asked them to do, until the end of November. Said I could get a few more months out them. Thank for being honest. See you in the Fall for the new tires.

I brought my car into Hagens Automotive for what I thought was a serious transmission problem. Planning for the worst, I waited for the mechanics to complete their assessment of the problem.I turns out that I needed a module which was a common failure and significantly cheaper then a new/rebuilt transmission.I just picked up the car and it drives like new.Very honest - very professional!

I made the mistake of trying to get lucky at a place closer to my house than Hagens...BAD IDEA! And I know better. Today I was phoning Ryan over a simple belt replacement to be done on my car. He completely blew me off to bring my car in today or tomorrow  and rushed me off the phone and that fleet trucks he had to tend to. He said he couldnt even give a quote over the phone for a simple belt change. I found this to be very non-professional.

I took my jeep liberty there because I had a gift certificate for a oil change. I know I had a slow oil leak and they confirmed my thoughts but I was scared it would cost an arm and a leg but after speaking with Mark he set my mind at ease. It was only the oil pressure switch. I am so glad to see the honesty and quality of work to be so close to home but even if I lived an hour away Id still take my cars there. I am very happy with hagens and will recommend them to anyone. Not to mention I just got a nice Christmas card in the mail with $10 off my next service!!!!! Thanks again guys.

It is getting harder and harder to find half-decent shops these days especially if you are a motorhead who is particular on who gets to touch your vehicles. I brought my highly modified & customized sedan for a ABS brake bleed and was very satisfied with the level of care and quality of work performed by Mark and his team. It is refreshing to meet actual car-enthusiasts at an auto shop so I will not hesitate to bring in my other vehicles when servicing is needed.

I brought my car in for diagnostic work and an oil change to be done on a Wednesday evening (I had a creaking in the front right passenger side of my car). They told me I could bring it Wednesday night for Thursday work due to my work schedule. When I dropped my car off, the lady told me she’d call me mid morning Thursday with an update. So on Thursday evening, I called to follow up. She explained that they got backed up and didn’t even look at it. So first off, totally understandable that you get busy. Not a problem. However, give me a heads up since I’m without a car during the week. So Friday comes, and they call me with a quote. I was familiar with the work that was required because I had something similar done maybe 2 years ago near where I’m from. However, pricing was exponentially higher. So I called my hometown shop and they quoted me about $250 less. It’s a far drive so that’s why I didn’t initially bring my car there in the first place. I’d also like to say that I understand they have a business to run and what they want to charge is their business. So I asked that none of the repairs be done and then requested since my car had to be there all day Friday until after work, could they still change my oil? The lady said sure and I said I’d be there right after work. Great! NOT. When I picked up my car and paid for everything, I got in my car and realized on my receipt it didn’t list an oil change nor did the sticker on my window. So again, I call. The same lady tells me to hold on and then says “yeah.... they didn’t do it. So... yeah.... no worries”. I was nearly speechless. I understand I chose not to go to your shop for my repairs but I did pay the diagnostic fee and I thanked her several times for her understanding and patience. They obviously just dropped the ball about the oil change and then pretended it was no big deal. Sloppy business in my opinion. Never again.

Honest and was able to repair my car without adding on any extras!

I went to my dealership with my 2002 GMC Envoy. They said the frame is rusted out and I need a front hub and tie rods and I should strongly consider trading it in and getting something newer. Mark carefully went over the car and explained what he found. The frame was not rusted as bad as the dealership stated. Mark said he was very comfortable fixing what needed to be fixed and it is still a solid vehicle. I was very impressed with Marks explanations and patience in answering my questions. Hagens Automotive is a top notch business. I highly recommend it.

I had a great experience with this shop. They were honest and knowledgeable. Within a few hours they found the issue, repaired it, and called me to let me know my car would be ready for pickup. The cost was less than half of what Firestone quoted me for the issue.

Thank you Mark and Crew for taking care of Adams car. Of course the battery goes dead on one of the coldest days. But the battery was coming apart! You got the car in and back to us in record time. And you took care of my company car that had a slow leak in the rear tire so I would get to work on time. Have your number stored in my phone.

Great shop to work with! They have worked on all our cars and trucks for over 10 years, very knowledgeable staff thats been there forever, its nice to know that the same mechanic is going to work on your vehicle as before. Prices are fair and way lower than what the dealer would charge.

Hagens has maintained our family fleet for many years ... but recently two great experiences ... when traveling across country, vehicle problem arose and Hagens accurately diagnosed the problem over the phone. This allowed us to have the necessary services completed while on the road with an understanding of the work needed; and secondly, another vehicle developed this crazy noise shortly after some body work ... and while the body shop and its mechanic did not solve the problem, Hagens team identified the trouble and resolved the issue in short order. Hands down most knowledgeable, genuine and honest place I have ever taken my car. My friend recommended this place, and these guys will be my go to guys and I am gonna recommend this place to other people I know.

This place is GREAT! I live in CA and was considering buying a collector car in Chicago. I was calling various shops to find one that could do a pre-purchase inspection. The owner (Mark) answered the phone at Hagens and immediately took interest in doing the work. But, they were swamped and didnt really have time to do it today. When I explained my time crunch he made time and did the inspection. The inspection should have taken 30 minutes, but they spent about 1.5 hours with the car. They went above and beyond what they said theyd do on the phone. I commission a lot of pre-purchase inspections around the country, and these guys found small things that inspectors often miss who charge 3X as much as Hagens charged me. Now for the kicker. I told them I wanted to pay them extra money for the extra time they took (not to mention fitting me in when they didnt really have the time). They would NOT accept any extra money from me. My only regret is that this shop isnt in my own home town because they would have all my automotive business. Bottom line, they were honest, friendly, and did quality work. What more can you ask.

I recently took my daughters car into Hagens after she spent over $300 at another shop. Mark had taken excellent care of my car in the past so Hagens was my first recommendation, but my daughter lives in the city and didnt think her car would make the drive, (trouble starting, check engine light on) so we opted for the other place...BIG MISTAKE ! Not even a week later same problem! I called Hagens spoke with Mark, we left the car with him. After running some tests they found the problem and fixed the issues that same afternoon. These days its really hard to find reliable service and have it coupled with a smile, courtesy and professionalism. I found all that at Hagens.

I took my car to a previous shop TWICE and they couldnt properly diagnose it. I am glad i found this shop in time before my license plate sticket expired. Ask for lisa! Shes very nice person!

Mark really knows his cars and he gives a very fair price. He fixed my HHR and my Daughters Fiesta. he charged about 1/4 of what the dealership wanted to charge me and now both cars are running great! its great to have peace of mind knowing there is still a fair mechanic you can go to in this area. This place is a joke and they lie. I was in. Need to change oil and filter, they came in with all kind of lies so they wont do the work because they were closing in an hour, they say to much time. It takes 30min!! This is a shame
