I met Al from CPT after I had transmission issues with my 2011 Audi R8 V10. I received a quote from the Audi dealership in Chicago and I was not comfortable with their assessment.I discussed my situation with people on the Audi R8 forums online who are well versed with R8 and it was highly recommend that I take the car to see Al at CPT for his skill and honesty.I called Al and made an appointment.Al quickly diagnosed the car and got the car fixed and placed a brand new transmission in the car that came directly from Audi and did this at less than half the cost. Audi wanted 28K for the transmission, Al did it for 12K. He used the exact same brand new transmission that was shipped over from the factory in Germany.Luckily this was covered with warranty. I elected to get clutch done as well - since the labor was minimal at that point.The car shifts and drives phenomenally and feel brand new.I had some other work done there as well including some cosmetics for the car and placing aftermarket shock absorbers and fixing the blower for the heater / AC.Al knows the R8 well and I am grateful for his skills, his honesty and professionalism. I will be returning for an aftermarket exhaust in the future.

I have a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali 6.2 and the engine in these trucks Burnes oil alot because of the AMF DOD and when the oil gets to low and you dont know, the AMF DOD lifters fail which causes a ticking noise. The only fix to prevent this is to disable the AMF DOD. These guys was able to go in the computer of my vehicle and disable the AMF DOD and WOW man my truck runs like a TRUCK suppose to. I have had 2 oil changes and Havent had any oil lost since the hp Tune. Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give CPT 10 stars on a scale of 1 - 5 if possible. When I moved to Chicago eight years ago, I was very careful selecting where to have my 911 serviced. A friend turned me on to Als shop and I am forever grateful. Al has always impressed me with his professional and no-BS manner, far and above any other mechanic I have ever dealt with. Now that it has come time to replace my Porsche after 134k miles, Al has been generous with his time and advice to help me make the best decision possible. I recommend CPT to anyone looking for the most trustworthy independent Porsche and Audi mechanic in Chicagoland!

I have been to see Al at CPT for two different ECM tunes on my S4 and there is a reason I came back. He is extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He pays attention to detail (noting some fasteners that were broken prior to them working on the vehicle) and worked to get me in and out quickly. Al does routine maintenance on my street driven C4S. With the thorough professional attitude to what they do, along with a work space that is as pristine and orderly as an operating room, it cant possibly get any better than CPT when it comes to all things Porsche.
