It is the best. I am still unsure why they sell jalapenos in small packages of 3-4. I buy around 20 each time and it just seems wasteful, to me, to have that packaging. Ah well. Im sure theres a reason.In other news: Their garlic bread is amazing, and all of their desserts are 🔥🔥+Great beer selection!! I mean, excellent!! They have all the local and Florida brewery selections AND they have my favorite-- Boulevard Brewery (Kansas City).

Amazing on every level!! Fresh produce, lots & lots of hot items, cold items, spices, refrigerated cheeses & sweets, terrific wine & beer selection, fresh beautiful cuts of meat... I could go on & on. One of my all time faves is the fresh Bacon Bowl Quiche!!! I normally take our guests there & pick up dinner for that night. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP!!!

Originally went there for (having been told it was a great place to eat) lunch. They have hot/cold meals, however; not in a restaurant environment per se. There is a deli counter as well as a hot food counter via which meals (individual and group sizes) can be ordered, and there are several picnic table near the entrance/exit fir thier consumption but, this was not what we were lead to believe. It has an impressive selection of vegetables and other produce as well as a fair meat selection. So a bottle of wine was purchased and we departed. The wine was discarded as it did not meet with expectations.

I visited the Market because I was told about their great selection of beers, which they do have. Great selection! Main complaint is their prices, they are very high for beers that you find at Publix for 11 dollars they are 15 here. Still a lot closer than driving to Total Wine but there im not paying an arm and leg for beers.

Best wine selection and prices anywhere. They always have clams and mussels in the back even if you dont see them in the seafood case. Great steaks and housemade sausages. Huge selection of fresh herbs and produce. It is always fun to browse through the aisles and find new items.

What I love about this place is that if they dont have it, they can usually get it for you. We were looking of olive salad, a key ingredient for a mufaletta sandwich, and no one locally carries it. When we checked here, they were able to look it up while we waited and order it. One item, 10 minutes of their time, and they made a loyal customer. Thats how you run a business.

We absolutely love coming to downtown produce. Its a little out of the way for us since we live in South Palm Bay, but its worth the drive. A great selection of fresh produce, prepackaged salads, and local canned goods and things of that nature. But the highlight of downtown produce is definitely the hot bar. They have a salad bar thats incredible, they also have prepackaged meals that you can take home, and the butcher counter and the olive bar are both fantastic as well. You can get homemade pasta here, theres a beer cave, huge selection of wine. Be aware that if you stop in here around lunch time its going to be pretty busy, and there will be a wait at the Hot bar.

Great store, deli, vegetables. The meat market is as good as any around.

Produce selection and freshness is fantastic. Delicatessen and meats are very nice also.

Wonderful as always. Everyone is very attentive and kind. They have a huge variety of produce and unique products. As well as fresh hot and cold menu items for breakfast, lunch or dinner. From whole (or one slice) of homemade quiche, pasta dishes, fresh pizza pies, salads, meats of every variety to HUGE twice baked sweet potatos. A large selection of beers and wines. An olive and other Mediterranean items (cold bar). Amazing desserts, by the slice or a whole pie. Fresh breads... You name it, they got it!

Meat prices and selections are top notch and very affordable. It seems the produce may be whats left after they pick the best for the restaurants. Just a guess. Great sandwiches and deli.

Love this place. We shop here quite a bit. We can get some things here that no one else carries locally. Their meat is very good and reasonably priced. They offer great weekly specials. Happy to support a local business!

I love this store. A small, community market with everything you might find in the high end store. A great meat counter, gourmet cheeses, sauces and seasonings I cant find at the brand name grocery store. The sausage and grilled pepper quiche is wonderful!

Absolutely amazing produce...awesome olive oils...truffle oils...mixes...seasoned mustards...prepared foods...marinated olives!!! Steaks are amazing and finally a real butcher that thick cuts meat. Amazing pork chops...fresh seafood...perfect thick cut bacon!!! Love this place!!! Went for steaks and walked out with a lot more. I drive 90 minutes just to get here. Complete recommend!!!

Great grocery store. Also definitely a lot more than just a produce store. They sell fresh seafood and have a deli. Also a great place for lunch break as they have fantastic lunch meals ready to go and make at the deli counter. My only complaint is that almost EVERY produce is wrapped in plastic. It’s still a shock to me how much plastic is used especially coming from a health foods store. I’m not sure if this is new and due to Covid or if it’s just standard... but I do hope to see more environmentally friendly packaging in the future.

Fresh vegetables looked great, good variety of fresh produce and dried/ canned/ packet foods, would go here again.

This is usually where I go when I want to just show off in the kitchen. Theyve got some of the best ingredients in town, for just about any style or flavor. And its not anymore expensive, typically, than what youd find at any of the major chains. I get lunch here a lot too. The sandwiches they make back in the deli are perfect.Edit: look at this sandwich. Just look at it. Its beautiful. Thats a ham and cheese, with double meat and some veggies. Its perfect. Worth every single penny.

Decent prices on huge selection of beer and wine... Nice people... Their other products have increased in price in recent years, but theres still good prices on certain groceries and some of their prepared foods. I miss the rice pudding they used to make... They sell uncured bacon at the butcher counter and they started an olive selection recently, which was very cool.

LOVE this place. They have such a wide variety of different food items. Produce selection is pretty good and their food counter has a decent amount of ready made salads andv other food items. The people behind the counter are always helpful and patient and moreover just genuinely happy to help you. Fairly large selection of beers and wines as well. 👍👍

I havent been to this store in over 4 years. Went there yesterday. Prices are way up and the $11.99 per pound of meat I bought was borderline rotten. Thanks guys. I will not be returning.

We go here for reliably fresh produce, seafood, and meats. The staff is helpful and friendly. One of the only places I have seen bangers in town. They offer some thoughtful tasting events throughout the year. Quickest time to get in and out is at 9am sharp when they open. Fair prices and nice selection, strongly recommend.

Emphasis on Produce, not so much Downtown. More aptly named Down With Beer & Wine Town as variety is big city while price is tiny village. Like most downtowns of yore, they keep bankers hours. But this bank is unbroken, after paying all of $32 and change for a case of French Chardonnay.

I love the Downtown Produce. Dont let the name fool you, its far from a veggie mart. This a clean high end grocery and deli. Every thing in there is yummy. Combined with great service this is the best grocery store in Melbourne. Yum.

Fresh fruit & veggies. A great selection of so much stuff..incl. salads, prepared foods, a full meat counter..so much for vegetarians, wholesome food for kids & family!Except the caw slaw had odd taste fa sure! I threw it away..

Update: Very glad to see precautions in place during the pandemic. Masks are required, disinfectant is near the doors for you to wipe down your cart and all employees are wearing masks as well.Always great food and wonderful produce selection. Buyer Beware! Usually a great spot for hard to find beer, fresh meats and nicely prepared meals.I bought a Jewish Apple cake from their bakery section and took it to a church function, sliced and served it. It smelled amazing and looked tasty. Much to my chagrin, my daughter ran up to me and said, Daddy, what are these? I thought they were blueberries, please tell me its not mold!To their credit they did refund me my original price but I have had a couple of recent food handling issues that will prevent me from returning.

This is a great place to shop and find wonderful foods. Sadly I went specifically to buy Badia Holy Smokes seasoning and they dont have it even though Badia themselves stated they do. Cant really blame the store for not carrying something the manufacturing company says they have though still disappointing...

Prices werent as great as I expected them to be. Fruits and veggies seemed fresh. Wide selection of spices and sauces. Large selection of the ready made lunches all looked good, also has a wide selection of ready to cook dinner meals.

They have practically everything you would need for every day meals to hosting an amazing gourmet dinner for your guests. Great wine selection, a large variety of produce, and delicious hot lunches. Also, a large selection of microwavable grab and go goodies if your in a hurry.

Excellent place, they supply the restaurants, so shop the same...

Good staff (especially their cashier Pamela - shes the best) inventory, decent prices (only a few exceptions) and lots of prepared foods available.

It was a great little find during our local Saturday outing. Friendly services & lots of variety to choose from. Well be back.

A great choice of vegetables and hot food and I was amazed by all the different foods and drinks that they sell.

The produce here looks amazing. There is a very good selection of beer and wines too. The sushi is very fresh and the meats looked great. Walking in the staff was very nice and the store is easy to navigate.

First off my husband and I very much like Downtown Produce. I has many items that cannot be found at any other store. The fresh pasta is great and the cheese selections - very good.We dont live near the store but do get there. Today 10/12, there was meat/fish on sale so off we go. I didnt go in because it was a meat run. My husband got me some of the good ham salad from the deli which I tried today for lunch.It is awful! At first I thought it was just me but my husband tried it and then we tossed it. It didnt even taste like ham, it was also a little runny for ham salad. The last time we had ham salad from DP- it was the best.Hey I know everyone has an issue at some time. Just ask for a taste, which I do but not my husband.I will still shop at Downtown Produce. This was hopefully an anomaly!

So organized! Im a guy who doesnt have a good relationship with vegetables and have a problem in most stores trying to find some exotic plant my wife has to have. Not here...everything is clearly marked and easy to find. Wives can rest easy; your husband can do this!

Excellent selection of wine thoughtfully selected and organized by region and varietal. Helpful management and friendly staff. Clean and safe atmosphere. Outstanding deli w/ fresh high quality meat and fish department. The cheese shop is outstanding and well stocked. Large produce selection. Yummy fresh baked goods. Plenty of staples available as well as gourmet and international goodies. They have baskets and gift bags if you need to put together a quick gift. Great prices. I drive all the way from beachside but its worth it.

This store reminds us of a store in South florida we went to weekly called Penn Dutch. Everything seemed fresh and a little pricey on meats. I dont mind paying more for fresher and better quality.

The selection in each department is vast and holds many unique and hard to find items, from spices, to wines and craft brew theres an extraordinary selection.The produce selection is enormous and the prices are fantastic. Always find many seasonal fruit options and also many hard to find fruit, veggies and fresh herbs that are difficult to find elsewhere. My only constructive criticism is some of there citrus, the tangelos (my absolute favorite) were lackluster and other orange varieties had little appeal. The excepts were lemons and limes. Perhaps look for a different source of growers?The deli has a wide variety of cold cuts and cheese as you would expect and their prepared hot and cold dinner entree selection gives you creative options for those days you just dont feel like cooking after a long day at work.This review is already lengthy and weve only covered less than half of the stores offerings!The meat department is awesome! There are great prices on weekly specials, handsome cuts of prime aged beef, and a wide variety of unique smoked bacon.. soo good! Even their premium ground blend is worth ever penny, you will be grinning 😁 at your next barbecue as your friends commend you on your amazing burgers!Lets also not forget their fine selection of cheeses in the dairy section, the convenience of not having to make another stop for these necessities is worth every penny.Their great selection of seafood, is fresh and seasonal, last trip I found huge slabs of mahi on sale.. only bested by me catching them myself. Scottish salmon is a recurring favorite here the filets are thick and the price is perfect.I never run out of great things to say about this great produce market, by and large the good I experience far outweighs my nitpicking, and I return habitually to fill my fridge, freezer, pantry and plate without unloading all of my wallet.

Been going to Downtown Produce for over three years and have to say its a gem. Best prices on wine and produce. As an added bonus the meat dept has packaged and a full line of by the pound meats. With a full line of Italian specialties and a huge case of all kinds of cheese. If you havent been there, youre missing out on a lot of yummy food. Oh I forgot to mention, a full deli and prepared food dept, including desserts.

Great atmosphere, with helpful staff, delicious food and drink recommendations and reasonable prices.The lunchtime rush posed a challenge for parking, but I found everything I needed. I appreciate the gluten free and organic food options.
