She was kind and familiar with a rare blood condition that I have.She was not afraid to ask and answer all questions. Great bedside manner.To say that Michelle was extremely patient in helping me pick out frames, 🤓 as a first time eyeglass person, would be an understatement. We probably went through at least 50 frames! She also helped with multiple lens configurations and price points.The entire staff at this location was so welcoming, kind, and patient. I would recommend this location 10/10 times!

Jordan was absolutely amazing with helping my son. I came in with 2 kids wound up from the day at school and she made our experience a breeze! She was just exceptional. Made an eye exam appointment, waited 45 minutes past the appointment time. The weird part is there was only one patient there who came and left and I was sitting in the lobby alone waiting. They didn’t look busy considering I was the only there waiting for almost an hour…I spoke with the receptionist and explained I had been waiting for 45 minutes and needed to reschedule because I had to be somewhere that afternoon and couldn’t sit and continue waiting for who knows how much longer. Then the doctor overheard me say that, and rushed out and said “I’m ready now you can come in the exam room” at this point after almost an hour I had to go. I explained to the doctor I had been waiting and needed to be somewhere else and she said “the exam won’t take more than 4 minutes”. If I’m going to wait for almost an hour And pay $150 I don’t want to be rushed in a 4 minute appointment. The doctor seemed really annoyed and not apologetic at all. The only thing I said was I had been waiting a while, can’t wait any longer and needed to reschedule. The doctors attitude is the reason I’m writing this review. She just made a poor experience worse by rushing to the reception desk and trying to scold me for wanting to reschedule. If I could be patient and polite after waiting that long, doctor had no excuse to rush out and be so rude when speaking with me. My experience shopping for glasses has been good but I will never book an exam there again. Why make an appointment to sit there for an hour in an empty lobby. There is 1 exam room and it was also empty. They don’t respect patients time. Doctor was rude. I’ll find somewhere else for exams.

I lost my glasses and if you wear them you know that this is a pain in the A$$. The eye doctor was quick and professional while remaining friendly. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was in and out within an hour. Had my glasses within days! When I went to pick up my glasses I tried them on and she made the adjustments as needed to my glasses didnt fall off my face. Lets talk about price. I got the examine and 2 pairs of glasses for under 200. There are no hidden fees, no pressure to add unneeded features. I highly recommend eyeglass world.

The team at the Eyeglass World on Dairy Rd and 192 in Melbourne were fantastic! We needed replacement glasses while up in Melbourne on vacation. They accepted our Drs prescription, had a great selection of eyewear, pricing was downright cheap and same day turnaround!!! The team was kind, efficient and knowledgeable to boot!! I have been a customer of Eyeglass World Melbourne about 5 years now. And on January 29, 2020 I had my annual eye exam and purchased a new pair of eyeglasses, like I normally do every year. And I just picked them up on February 2, 2021. They are trifocals with the anti glare and transition lenses . And I have to say that these eyeglasses are awesome! I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old, and these glasses are the best I’ve ever had . I am so happy with the fit, and how they feel and look on me . I also want to say that I received a very thorough eye exam. The eye doctor took her time with me and answered all my questions . That is why I highly recommend Eyeglass World Melbourne for all your vision needs. They truly go the extra mile to take care of there customer’s needs. They rock !!!!!😍

Skeptical about going here after reading some of the reviews but I figured I will stop by to just check it out. I must say staff was friendly, the process was simple and fast. Glasses were ready same day. I need a replacement pair and didnt have prescription and it was taken cared of without having to pay for an eye exam. To my surprised, it was way less expensive than Walmart and I got 2 for price of 1.

So far so good but my glasses haven’t been dispensed as of yet since my prescription was rather complex and had to be sent out. Walk in worked well. Plenty of help. Disappointed they didn’t take my insurance ...Blue Vision but I am turning it in for reimbursement.

Overall an ok experience. My clear glasses were ready the same day and look great. However, the Ray Ban sunglasses took two weeks and when I got them I found out they don’t print the logo on the lens, even though the sample on display has the Ray Ban logo. I guess $400 only gets you the knock off lenses.

Excellent place for optical needs. Silly me wore my prescription glasses into the ocean, if course they were lost in the surf the day before driving 13 hours back home! Convinced I was NOT going to get replacements in time, low-and-behold, my wife found Eyeglass World, who said they could see me if I were there in 30 minutes. To my amazement, they examined me, wrote a new prescription, ground the lenses and fit me in two pairs of new stylish glasses! And great prices as well.

Eyeglass world is a conscientious place to get glasses. I picked trendy, narrow frames and could not get use to them. I called Eyeglass world and they had me come in and pick different frames. Ive been coming here for close to a year . I have my regular Rayban glasses a pair of Osha approved safety glasses and a pair of liberty sport sun glasses . All have my prescription in them . Every time I need something they have been there to help me . I have insurance on my lenses. Since the start of this Virus . Ive managed to scratch my lenses . Taking a mask off my face and my glasses fell to the ground . When they were putting new lenses in my Rayban glasses they broke . They called me back to the store and had me pick out a new pair of Rayban frames . Free of charge . After I picked out my frames . It took about 30 minutes to complete the installation of my new lenses. The ladies here are very professional. And are there to meet your needs . I highly recommend coming and doing business. This was my first time getting glasses. The doctors were nice. However,the secretary doesnt say anything just hands you a clipboard. Not much customer service.Theyre not honest about the cost. Even with insurance I had a huge out of pocket cost. My glasses were supposed to be ready by the end of the day, they werent. Go to Wal-Mart its cheaper.

Ive gone to walmart for the past 5 years,,but moved so I thought I would try eyeglass world again..My appt was 10:45am I wasnt seen till 11;35am.I was told my glasses would be ready in 8-10 days Im on day 13 still no glasses,,when I called I was asked my name and was told,they would be right back, 10 min later some picked up and asked if they could help me. 15 min went by and I was hung up on.I called back,10 min later I was told my glasses could be in tomorrow,,, Back to using WAL-MART!!!!!!

I had an appointment for 4:30. I arrived at 4:25 and had a clipboard handed to me. I filled out the paperwork. I waited 45 minutesand no one so much as said a word to me. In fact the receptionist helped 2 walk ins set appointments while I am still waiting. I walked out. Very unprofessional.Walked

The exam was great here, but after that is was all downhill. Customer service was completely incompetent. They told me for 4 days they were sitting on hold with my insurance to verify benefits, and then lied to me - saying that they were playing phone tag with me. Bull, they never called me back. When the first pair of glasses cane in, the lab made them completely wrong, something about it being shifted 90 degrees- I couldnt see out of them at all, but it passed their internal quality control. Had to reorder... second pair came in, but it there is just something off, I cant see as well as my last 3 pairs of glasses. My prescription has been the same for 4 years. Inspecting them closer, there are gaps between the lenses and frame. And it appears that the lenses are thicker, meaning they didnt use the premium lenses that I paid for. I gave up and got a refund. Never coming back.

Wasn’t happy at all. First thing there closed on Sunday which I don’t perticule agree with but that’s besides the point. When I went to have prescription sunglasses lenses put in my glasses they told me they wouldn’t do it at all because of my prescription and I insisted they do it and they told me the Guy in the lab has been there “30” years and is “to busy to talk to you”. So I used there phone and called 20 20 eyeglass super store and I had it done by the end of the day without hesitation.

Way too expensive for prescription sun glasses

Their advertisement of 2 pair for $78 is not correct. I paid $125 for one pair of single vision lense glasses. They wanted $145 for 2 pair. And yes they were from the 2 for $78 rack. Its false advertising and should be stopped. I couldnt go elsewhere because my son needed the glasses right away. He is leaving for the military.

I needed some new frames, since my old ones were falling apart and dirty, so I stopped by Eyeglass World. I recieved my eye exam quickly, and then wandered around to find some frames. I chose a handful, and then sat down with one of the salesladies to narrow down my choices. It was a little like a pageant; I was having a difficult time deciding, so sh called over her corworkers and asked for their opinions. With their help I chose a pair of frames that work very well--so well that Ive gotten compliments on them from total strangers!Not only that, but I also grabbed a pair of prescription sunglasses-the first pair Ive ever had. I dont wear contacts and work on computers all day, so I dont often wear them. But now that I have a pair I can see through, I can now see while I drive to work! (Directly into the sun, unfortunately! But make more fortunate by having sunglasses now).Best of all, I went to lunch, and when I returned, they had my classes already prepared! Same day delivery.Thank you so much to the staff at Eyeglass World for all of their help!

I called around for prices of eye exams and glasses before I chose to go to Eye Glass World.I set up an appointment for my daughter and myself for October 13,2018. I was quote a price of $58 dollars for each eye exam which would have been $116 for 2 exams then for glasses for my daughter would have been 2 for $78 dollars for glasses and lenses (single vision lenses) for my daughter and 2 for $178 (for no line progressive lenses) for my glasses. We arrived early like we were supposed to then we were both brought into a room separately of course and sat with someone who made us look into a machine then we both waited to see the doctor. By the time I we got done with the exam and I had to pay for the visit (and pay for glasses on separate transaction) we were charged $ 58 dollars for the visit as well as an extra $20 dollars each for the first person we sat with before being seen with the doctor. We had picked out our frames before we were seen by the doctor so when it came time to do the necessary stuff for frames and lenses everything went good with my daughters set of glasses and price but when it came to my stuff instead of me paying $178 for my frames and lenses the girl told me and charged me $238. for my stuff. I just dont understand that I called prior to making the appointment and stuff to get prices and I got charged extra for an extra routine before seeing the doctor and extra money for my set of glasses. I think I should be refunded my $40 dollars during the exam time as well as the difference I was charged for my glasses and what I was quote and the $ 40 dollars I had to pay just to get a warranty coverage for 12 months on my daughters glasses. No warranty on any of the glasses or frames (most places I have been too for glasses has a 1 year warranty on frames and lenses) and the only way to get a 1 year warranty was to pay an additional 40 dollars which I did for my daughters frames Very sad for all the extra unwanted charges that I had to endure although I specifically called prior and found that they were cheaper in prices that I was quoted from 5 places in total which Eye Glass World is included in. However no one apologized to me for what I was quoted by phone nor did they offer to honor prices I was quoted on the phone Hopefully Eye Glass World will see this, and respond to make good on this and offer to reverse charges for me off my Care Credit Bill

I got 2 pair of glasses a little over a 1 yr ago, one pair were prescription sunglasses. I never wore them so I took them in to get them made into an extra pair of glasses case something happened to the ones I was wearing. They said the cost would be $211. I said more than I wanted to pay but ok cause I needed a back up. They took them to the lab tech and he said he couldnt use the frames because the screws were changed and the frames were defective. I told him that was impossible because I got them there and never wore them. He said maybe I did get there but he couldnt use them I would have to get a new frame. I told them my husband and I will never go there again.When I left they all laughed, so I stopped at Lenscrafter and the cost was $54.00 more but they didnt have an problem using the frames.They sure lost our business.

Took our chances and decided to try this place because of the commercials ....ENDED UPVERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!Came in here last Wednesday to get my brother some glasses to replace the ones he lost in the Atlantic... We couldn’t stress enough to the lady that we needed these classes as quick as possible because he is on vacation and goes home on the 20th, not only that, but that he needs to see during his trip and it would be nice to have glasses so as to enjoy hisvacation ...She sat right across from us and told me and my brother to our face that it would only take up to 5 days, we call back five days later and NOW we’re being told that it takes 7 to 10 days... so they lied to us knowing full well that we couldn’t even stress enough that we needed these glasses expedited ... I am absolutely appalled at the lying they did to getour money...I will never come here again... I will never recommend eyeglass world to anyone ever...I could get faster service at Walmart -It’s just so disheartening ...I don’t recommend this place to anyone, as they lie - I almost feel as if it’s a bait and switch ... we will BAIT you by saying that the glasses will be done in five days but the reality of it, is quite different

Very poor service, Ive been waiting 15 days for 2 pairs of glasses 15 days. Every time I call is like Im bothering them. No one can tell me whats taking so long. If you need glasses this is not the best place.

The office staff at Shannon Optometry are rude and incompetent. After meeting Dr Hafsa its apparent that her staff reflects her opinion of her customers.The staff setting the appointment didnt ask any questions and set an appointment for 4PM. On arrival we were told they dont do new contact appointments after 3PM due to state law requiring fittings etc.After the exam we were told to make another appointment to come for a lens fitting. The tech doing the fitting didnt even explain the basics of wearing lenses. Which way is right side out and how to properly care for them. Dr Hafsa refused to see the patient as Dr Duke did the original exam. As he wasnt in the office another appointment was required. The staff proceeded to talk about us behind our back and convince each other that it was all our fault despite their incompetence.I wont be returning and will be forwarding my experience to my insurance company and state board.

This place is amazing. From the Doctor (Dr. Chaudhary Hafsa is amazing!), to the folks out on the floor.Logan, the Store Manager deserves some praise. Mom went in for contacts, and was given a rebate for $50. Sadly, it was for 4 boxes and she had only bought 2.The rebate required 1 receipt, so we went in to return the 2 and rebuy them with 2 additional boxes. Now, these are contacts, and those sort of thing isnt something that is so easily returned days later.I went in with her, ready to make the case and stand my ground until they agreed to return them, and then resell them to us with 2 additional boxes.No argument necessary. Logan didnt even bat an eye, accepted them back, ordered the additional lenses, and had the necessary paperwork in under 5 minutes.Every experience has been phenomenal, and I cant recommend them enough!Thank you from us!

Went here for my annual eye exam and the doctor didnt even do a full exam. Told me I dont need glasses and sent me on my way. I have been to two eye doctors previously who both agreed I do need glasses. Now ive used my covered eye exam through my insurance for the year and didnt get new glasses that I need.

I recently contacted this location that I have used for the past decade in regards to purchasing a new pair of glasses. A lady who answered the phone and for me my prescription expired in January I asked her why that keeps me procuring a replacement pair. She informed me that prescription was not valid after 2 years I asked her to speak with someone who could then help me understand why a prescription that is not part of driver license restrictions expires after 2 years and cant be duplicated but requires additonal eye exam and ask to speak to the optometrist there as well. She told me that that was the way it was and did not put me on with the optometrist but her general manager then proceeded to tell me the same thing but neither person could explain to me the reason. Well after reviewing the Florida statute the reason these ladies couldnt explain is because they are not the optometrist they have no actual right to deny a duplicate prescription optometrist would be the one. So after being denied to speak to the optometrist and put on with the general manager who just reinforce the same thing the lady said but without actual factual evidence I have copy the Florida statute myself which states they prescription can stay on file for 2 years can a copy can be kept longer by the optometrist. Nothing about needing or requiring an additional exam thats funny the part of this business that actually makes money did not inform me that the optometrist that I asked to speak 2 could easily duplicate my prescription with no required eye exam that would be then good for an additional five years. So prior to pulling up in reading the Florida statute I explained that it feels like I am being denied my glasses so that they can make money and after further investigating that is the case it appears since I was denied to speak to the optometrist since they put me on with the general manager of the actual retail portion of this location never saying that the optometrist wasnt available but just directly giving me to the general manager. Ive been called back to try to stick with the general manager to actually cite Florida statute to handle this because I still need my glasses and the 10 minutes it took me to review the Florida statute and call back she was now on a conference call and would not take my call but I was giving the customer service 1-800 number for the optometrist portion of the business which again is in the same actual buildingI decided to edit this because furthermore this is the same at the practice of mechanic shops that tell you that your transmission is busted when all you need is fluid.E.G. theyre misquoting what Florida statute not actually knowing what it says...and if they do they are denying customers to speak to optometrists because they never let me speak to them and I asked but I really hope this is not a hole company thing I will be contacting Channel 9 first investigated reported

This place is horrible. As other reviewers have noted, they attempt the bait and switch by trying to get you to agree to charges well beyond what they advertise. Do not expect you will be paying what they advertise on the radio or TV. You will also NOT get your glasses in the time they advertise. In my case they broke the frame and had to order a new frame. I was told I would be called when the glasses were ready and I was never called about them. The person at the store lied and said I was called and fought me on the point. The customer service at this establishment is terrible. You would be best advised to stay away and go to a more reputable store.

They told me they accepted my insurance when they clearly knew that not all insurances are accepted and I was left footing the entire bill without reimbursement. They were bit clear at all and I will never go back there.

The professionalism and etiquette of the employees at this location is impeccable. The Ladies are professional, attentive and curteous. The Ophthalmologists are efficient, personable, charming & debonair. All of the staff seems to be knowledgable of all aspects pertaining to the operations of this establishment as a whole. I must say they have an outstanding system that is clearly built on a strong foundation of teamwork. The customer service was above excellent in my opinion. My daughter and I were new patients and we were registered, examined, and out the door with our fabulous new prescription lense frames in less than two hours. Which gives me confidence that our next visit will time efficient and pleasant.My only disappointment was that their amazing discounts advertised, are only applicable to cash paying patients. As if there is much of a difference in the amount of funding with insurance. Hey, money talks..., I get that. So not being able to get the buy one get one free discount on frames sucked hard. I truly hope they contact corporate or whomever is in charge of their financial operations to further offer some type of discount on a 2nd pair of frames to patients who are insured. I was also disappointed that my fabulous DEREON Frames by Beyoncé did not come with an official holding case, and we did not receive cleaning cloths for either of our glasses at all for that matter.However I will not let my above mentioned disappointment on their discounts affect my judgement of this amazing staff. I hold a high regard for myself being an Adult that utilizes my brain and common sense well enough to know that this staff is not personally responsible for the stores discount eligibility rules.

Great service and the doc is extraordinary!!!!

They have wide variety of frames. In other places Davis Vision insurance have a very very tinny selection of frames. This place had enormous selection of frames with in our price range.
