My husband and I purchased a home and replaced every bit of flooring in it. Approximately 500 square feet of laminate, 1500 square feet of carpet, and 3000 square feet of tile. It was an extensive job that went extremely well, and not by luck. We worked with Doug at Carpet Fashions who was knowledgeable, answered dozens and dozens of questions, and gave consultative feedback on everything from the best type of flooring for an area to style. I wanted tile with the look of wood and they were able to install it with a 1/16-1/8 grout opening to make it look even more like wood.Doug was personable, listened to our needs, visited the house many times with samples, personally made sure everything was going well from start to finish, and did it all at a cost that we were satisfied with. He treated us with the utmost respect throughout the process and even developed a great relationship with our 2 year old daughter.Every job is going to have something unexpected come up, as did ours. But, the issues were minor and Doug made sure it was all addressed appropriately. For example, the installers did not originally extend the tile into an under-stair closet as I expected. I just let Doug know and he made it right.The end result is beautiful high quality flooring and the comfort of knowing that if anything comes up in the future I know where to go. I am extremely satisfied with our experience with Doug and Carpet Fashions and highly recommend them!

I called Carpet Fashions to get a quote to replace my small shower. Tanner came out did the measurements and I met him at the store the next day to pick out tile. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, he had a few suggestions of tile for the area. He even sent me home with samples to see how they look. Tanner was very patient with me while I looked at various options. The rest of the Carpet Fashions Team was always nice and friendly when I stopped in to revisit tile options or ask questions. In the end I found the right tile and appreciate the help and knowledge of Tanner and Angel.

BUYERS BEWARE! First off, I am giving this 2 stars because the finished product was great, no complaints there...the experience was a little different. We initially stopped into Carpet Fashions and picked out our vinyl flooring with one of the sales reps named Jerry. He came out to our home to take the measurements, then I met him at the shop to go over the quote, drop off the deposit, and schedule installation date. I was told multiple times that it would be installed Thursday 2/18 and should be finished the same day. The Tuesday before I called to confirm my appointment as I would need to take the day off of work, clear the rooms of furniture, etc. Thursday morning came and went and no one showed up. I then called Jerry to see what was going on. He told me that they had some installers quit that day and were scrambling around with scheduling and that my install may need to be pushed until the following Monday 2/22. I said that would be fine, but asked if there was anything he could do to make up for the inconvenience of missing work and now having to take an additional day. He said he would get back to me shortly on that...never did. I called into the office 5 mins before they closed and got in touch with the owner. He told me it looked like Jerry mixed up the schedule as I was always scheduled for 2/22, but he would look into a discount to make up for confusion and inconvenience. I kindly thanked him for the consideration. Fast forward to Monday, the installer...who is a subcontractor, extremely nice and professional...was not able to finish that day in part because he was given the incorrect measurements by Jerry. Tuesday...now the 3rd day Ive taken off of work...the installer finished the job and politely asked if he could collect the remainder of the original invoice. Before writing the check I called back into the office to follow up on any update in the discount that was discussed. Spoke to the owner who had the audacity to offer me a mere $25, or a 1.5% discount of the original invoice. I was a little shocked and confused by this and kindly reminded him about the 3 missed work days and the inconvenience of the scheduling mishap. He then raised his voice and proceeded to say that I had lied to him when we spoke the previous week and that Jerry has told me all along that I was scheduled for the later date. I became extremely upset at the accusation and questioned him about the bogus story that Jerry gave me about the installers had quit scenario. Again I was told that I was a liar and nothing would be done. After going back and forth through extreme frustration, we settled at a measly $50 off (3% discount). Not much else to say, but I believe this is not the way of prioritizing customer service when owning a business. I was never looking to take advantage or demand an unfair discount...however a simple assumption of responsibility and an apology would have been a good place to start. At Carpet Fashions, the customer for sure isnt always right. In fact, they are a straight-up liar. Needless to say I will never use this business again.

Service & product options are Best of the Best!!! Both stores have plentiful TILES, wood laminate, AND carpet options in stock. Very helpful associates! Dont shop anywhere else for your home remodeling products ( kitchen, whole floor, bathrooms, etc). (Big box stores are great for some things); Carpet Fashions is Tops/Great for floor & wall coverings = Shop Local!! :). I love my high end carpet, cork laminate flooring & bathroom tiles that I got from Carpet Fashions Wickham Rd.

Found THE perfect tile at an AMAZING price and Jerry was fantastic at helping me, except he calculated my square footage incorrect and therefore ordered to little tile.. Now the first manufacturer is out of business and the first tile is no longer available... Jerry had another tile available so after searching and searching for the first we move forward with a different tile to finish the job. I was quoted at UNDER $5 A SQ FOOT BUT WAS CHARGED$14.99 . FOR simple white subway tile.

Highly recommended! I stopped by on a whim, being so close to my work. I was on a very limited budget and wanted to see what they had. I was absolutely amazed. I was greeted right away and was guided throughout their showroom. I found the perfect wood/porcelain tile I wanted, but thought was out of reach (If you find it online, normally is around $9-12 sq ft, here was $2-3 sq ft!). The big box stores had poor ceramic quality, visibly printed wood grains at an astronomical cost. Carpet Fashions had gorgeous imported porcelain at a quarter of the cost. I purchased the tile over a year ago and only recently having the time to wrap up my home project (entire house tiled). They still had the tile and gave me great tips to hid the varied dye lots. I would come to this location first, as this will be your only stop!

This is the place to go for any type of carpet, flooring, or counter tops. They go above and beyond to please the customer. A very pleasurable experience.

Super nice staff, quality product. Even the warehouse guy in the Melbourne store (I think his name is john? Super sweet too) that isnt in sales on saturdays is so polite and helpful . I Always get great deals. I have had only their flooring in the last 3 homes i have had. My mother in law refuses to shop anywhere else too!! Great installers as well.

The floor itself looks beautiful, my issues are with the trim installation and service.Incomplete Trim Work:After the floor was installed a different sub contractor came to install the new baseboards. He did not caulk the top of the baseboards, only the joints, and told us that not part of his contract, and is the painters job. I went down to the shop to see if that was something we should expect, and offered to pay an additional fee if needed to cover the additional labor. They said that the top should have been caulked, and they would send someone out. He came and caulked the top, but not the nail holes. I called the shop and asked why the nail holes werent done. He assured me someone would come back to finish, but have not heard back.Incomplete/Mismatched Thresholds:The floor I purchased did not have matching thresholds, and this was not expressed to me at the time of purchase. They substituted a different product, and the color is close, but it definitely does not match. The subcontractor who installed the thresholds missed a door. Ive called him several times to ask him to return and finish, but his mailbox is always full so I could not leave a message.Removed Excess Materials From My Home:I had about 4 or 5 pieces of excess baseboards after the installation that were removed from my home. I called to ask why they were taken since they were paid for and was told they miscalculated how many pieces they needed and sent additional materials that they did not charge me for. I dont know if this is true or not, but when I told a friend who I was working with they said, without prompting,, Watch your materials; they are known to take things back. They did leave the additional box of flooring.

Great company to deal with.. I was very satisfied with every step of sales and service doing my entire home in tile... This is not an easy process and Ive heard first hand of nightmares but they did every thing right for me.

After buying over $5000 worth of flooring I didnt think it was too much to ask if they could cut one tile for me after I had to have a leak fixed under my slab. I called first and was told to drop it off - theyd ask one of their installers to cut it for me. I was willing to pay them what ever they wanted. When I went in the man there was so extremely rude to me, telling me that the other person I spoke to didnt know what they were talking about. He was very aggressive and rude and I had been a good paying customer. It was very strange. So I went to Floors Direct and explained my dilemma to them. They kept the tile and called me two days later to pick it up. One of their installers cut it for me and they didnt charge me a cent. Guess where I will take my future business?

They installed the wrong color. (Even though I confirmed it in writing) They did not clean up after they left.When I called to have them correct the wrong color Scott hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional. Owner Darren obviously doesnt care and wont call back. Do not pay them in advance or trust them like I did. If you want horrible customer service call Carpet Fashions, Inc.
