Went to pick up my contacts today after getting a text from them telling me to come pick them up, so I check the hours for today and their open, walk down there and their closed!! Guess what- They are closed tomorrow also- short staffed! So who knows when they will be opened, would have been nice getting a text telling me they are closed

Dr. Mengle and his staff are terrific! Very efficient in accommodating any issues. They were very thorough in finding contacts that were comfortable for my eyes. Never felt rushed. They spent time explaining procedures and findings during the exam. Highly recommend. Will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks so much.

Mikayla was great! She helped me pick out glasses that complemented my face and was honest with her opinion on all the pairs I tried on! She even double checked in the back stock for some extra ones to help me find the pair I liked!

I went to two other places in Medina.My payment portion, after insurance, from both, was $70 - $75. I went to Novus and got what I wanted/needed and paid $10.40, after insurance. Additionally, the girl that waited on me was extremely thorough and pleasant. Looks like Novus has a new customer.

Awesome service. The nurse was awesome & very friendly. The dr made jokes and made us laugh and feel comfy. Would definitely recommend the medina Novus Eye Clinic.

Dr. Mengle and his staff are wonderful! My husband and I switched eye Doctors because insurance no longer covered the person we were seeing before. I also had some concerns with my vision as I have an underlying health condition that sometimes causes eye pain, vision changes ect. This doctor was very knowledgeable about the condition I have, and not many are. Him and his staff explained things, were very thorough as well. Very nice clean welcoming place. My Son also needs an eye exam, so we will be back soon.Prices are reasonable and if you do not have vision insurance they do have cheaper frames, and ones that are on sale. They also have a large variety of frames you can choose from. So many I had trouble deciding between a smaller frame and a larger frame. If I could I would have chose them both!I also have already recommened them to two people and was so impressed that I also recommend them as well in one of my facebook groups.Dr. Mengle also has great bedside manner and the staff are kind and are up front about what your insurance does and doesnt cover and the cost as well.

Very pleasant staff and doctor, they were very helpful with determining what was going on with my eyes, and trying to find the best frames for me. I only wish they had more of a selection of frames for progressive lenses, for people with a small face structure. I would recommend Milburn Eye Center to anyone needing eye exams or care.

My eye exam was excellent. Dr Milburn was very professional and spent a lot of time explaining results of the tests she was performing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I unfortunately did not find frames that I thought would work for me. Many of their frames are of the smaller size and i was hoping for something more average in size. I definitely would have rated the site 5 stars if the frame selection was a little more robust.

This was my first visit to Milburn Eye Center and I was very pleased. Due to an insurance change I could no longer use SVS Vision and had to do research for a new Center. I made the right choice choosing Milburn. Everyone from the front desk to the Eye Doctor were very professional, patient and helpful. Their fees are very competitive with other major Vision Centers. I’ll definitely be going back again and would definitely recommend them to others.

I have been a patient of the Milburns for many years. I have a SEVERE astigmatism. I cannot go to just anyone. I must be evaluated by highly skilled eye doctors, which the Milburns exceed....The type of care I require cannot be serviced at Walmart or some online contact lens care. The ENTIRE staff is remarkable from the time you open the door, to the time you leave. I came in today needing new contacts and glasses. I picked my 3 eyeglass choices, and the professional lady was honest with me on the features and benefits of each choice. I chose the one she advised. Been going there for a couple yrs now never had a problem till this last visit. Time to find a new eye doc. I work outta state and need a pair of safety glasses with side shields. Was told theyd mail them when they came in, in 7 to 10 business days. Cool no problem I can deal with that. They come in I get a call saying I can pick them up so I call and let them know theyre getting shipped they tell me thats a extra 8 bucks, whatever I give them my CC number and told it will be shipped the next day. I wait 5 days and call to see if I can get a shipping number to track it I should have it by now. They tell me there was a delay on the side shields they didnt have the right ones they are getting shipped out today I explained I will be heading home in the next couple days if theres any way to overnight them so I make sure they get here before I leave. Was told shell call me back, when she did she said no problem its a extra 10 bucks to overnight them asked since I should have them already could they eat the cost of the overnight I already paid 8 and was told they couldnt do it. Staff is very nice but they are losing a customer over 10 dollars and little communication would have changed everything

Do not go to this company, they will bill your medical company without informing you of any additional cost. They will try and get as much money as they can and expect you to read their little fine print. Its your choice if you decide to go to this company for eye exam, just dont give them your medical card. Its there way of claiming you have a medical issues and Milburn can get more money out of you. My daughter eye exam for 20 min. ($219.00). I will never go to this place again!

I feel totally justified after reading the other poor reviews for Mr. Milburn. Extremely rude and out to make money instead of caring for his patients. DO NOT go there to get contacts as they charge a lot more, try to pressure you into more expensive contacts than what your insurance will pay for and your appointment will take twice as long.On top of all of this, he insisted on billing myself and my insurance company for a “medical” eye exam versus a regular exam because I simply asked about my daughter who was getting her first pair of contact lenses and wondered if they had special contacts for people with allergies because of itchy eyes.My insurance company only pays for regular eye exams up to 100% and then I have a high deductible for anything else. Mr. Milburn did nothing more then a regular eye exam, but he insisted on billing my insurance company for a medical exam. Oh, I forgot... he also wrote a prescription for a very overpriced eyedrops for allergies. I tried to explain several times that I was going to have to pay $400 out-of-pocket more because of the way he billed it. I must add that he refused to ever see me or talk to me after the appointment and would only communicate through the poor girls that work for him. My insurance company told me that all he had to do was bill it properly, but he refused. Then, as if I were a child and he were my authoritative father, told me he would not hear one more word about it and then sent my account to collections. When I talk to my insurance company about it, they said unfortunately some doctors do this as they get paid more than double for a medical exam versus a routine exam.I have never ever felt so mistreated as a customer before. And I have never ever posted a review online, but felt that I would add my experience as to save someone else from the same torture I endured with this establishment. I must add, however, that the staff at the desk were very courteous with me. I Can only assume they understood the problem even though their boss refused to do the right thing.

Poor customer service here. I went twice and brought my children once. They gave me three different excuses three different times to avoid giving me a copy of my prescription. I bought prescription Ray Ban sunglasses and they did not provide a case for them. I recommended going elsewhere for eye care needs.

I can honestly say Milburn Eye Center is the best place Ive ever been to have my eyes checked. I used to go to a different doctor but he always kept me waiting for a long time and then when he would finally come in, he wouldnt take much time for me to ask any questions. But Dr. Milburn was so patient with me and my grandmother. I cant say enough about how pleased I am about this eye clinic. She has a lot of eye problems but the staff at this office made her glasses so good that she says she sees better than she has in years. I cant recommend Milburn Eye Care enough. Great people and great service.

From the time of scheduling to my appointment it was a pleasure. Everyone was very friendly and caring. I was taught it starts from the top down and it sure showed at Dr. Milburns office.

I called to make an appointment because my eyes were causing me problems. I assumed it was because I suffer from allergies and I had been outside all weekend. I described what was happening and I was able to make an appointment first thing the next morning when I returned from out of town. Dr. A. Milburn examed my eyes told me exactly what was happening to my eyes and put me at ease. She prescribed the necessary medicine and indicated exactly how to use it. I already feel some relief and will follow up in one week.Friendly and knowledgeable staff from the initial phone call to the final checkout.

I will not go back and will never recommend this eye doctor to anyone. Anna Milburn is very nice. But her husband is extremely rude, and he never takes no for a answer. He refused to let me just go home with my normal 2 week contacts, I HAD to try the one a day ones. Well I wasnt going to pay 500$ for a year supply of contacts. Im sure they get a HUGE kick back if you do get the one a day contacts. I know I am not the only one that has had this issue. I do not recommend going here.

Left my stigmatism off of my prescription. I had headaches that lasted three days at a time. Told me I had cataracts.

I have always had amazing customer service at MEC. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I met with Dr Anna Milburn a few times and she spent a lot of time with me while I was struggling to (re)learn how to work with soft contacts. She is always very patient as I often have many questions. I would definitely recommend MEC.

Was very nice atmosphere and very pleasant people however I would suggest if theyre going to take CareSource that they also get frames for glasses for children and adults that dont cost $100 a piece frames are supposed to be free once a year and they should give us an option or at least a cheaper option as I had to drive to North Olmsted which was a half an hour away to get frames

Hidden fees, an incredibly unethical policy that states that all lenses are non refundable. Even if the doctor messes up, you still pay. And the Progressive no line bifocal is a total joke. You have blurry peripherals and the only things you can see are what the glasses are facing. Dont turn your head, or move your eyes left to right, you will see only distortion. Total disappointment. Highly unethical behavior on their part.

I will never go back, they are highly over priced, with insurance still paid over 700 out of pocket, how does this happen? They gave me one bill and a month later said oh the insurance didnt cover this part also so another 200 after I had paid 500. Plus the perscription wasnt correct in left eye and they wanted to charge another 25 to fix that, no thanks!

The front desk staff were not personable and very rehearsed sounding. Im not sure that one of them even smiled. Enter Dr. Tim Millburn: while he is knowledgeable, his tone is demeaning and rude. The verbiage he used in explaining why it was best to purchase glasses from them was insulting to my intelligence. He spoke to me as if I were a little child needing direction and was very inconvenienced when I asked for a moment to wipe the mascara from my cheeks that dripped down during pupil dilation. He was not sincere and I will not be returning.

Drs. Tim and Annamarie Milburn have been wonderful for me since I started going to their practice. They and their staff have been courteous and helpful and, of course, I can see very well thanks to them! I recommend Drs. Milburn without reservation.

The Drs Milburn are on my providers list, so I called in advance to make sure that everything checked out and my daughter was covered. They were very helpful and agreed that she would be covered for an eye exam and contact fitting, completely per my insurance. I set up the appointment and let them know that she just wanted the prescription as we get the lenses online.When my daughter got there, she did wait a while. She got the exam and then the high pressure sales started. The doctor tried hard to push her into getting lenses through them and brought out the more expensive daily disposables for her to try. It made my daughter (22 years old) very uncomfortable and I have since heard similar stories from others about this sales approach. The kick of course was the $105 bill at the end because the brand she uses wasnt covered by my insurance company.To summarize, they are very aggressive in the sales department. Yes, id call it pushy. Because of this, she was there for 2 hours! If insurance doesnt cover something, the cost is high. I cancelled the appointments for the rest of my family and will look elsewhere for a provider.

Pushy Dr. He doesnt listen. I had eye infection that he said I should have come in weeks earlier for. Needed prescription. Buehler didnt have the most expensive thing he prescribed. The had the normal eye drops that work just fine. He refused to change prescription. He would rather my eye get worse and wait for pharmacy to get it in vs let me have what I needed to get better.Shady 50 fee even though they had a slot open for appointment I was still charged for double booking the doctor. I have no idea how they stay in business.

Horrible office if you get care source, got a bad vibe day one. Wanted to charge me for my pd and dont offer glasses frames for care source patients. Had my service dog in her bag thats a 3 lb. Maltese told dont bring her back. Will never go there again.also claimed he seen some beginnings of cataracts but did nothing about it but Im sure my insurance was probably charged for him even saying he seen something. Yes gave copy of script but didnt have anything for my pd on it and said would have to charge me out of pocket for the measurement to be put on the script.
