This pharmacy is terrible. The people working there are nice, but refills are routinely a week late. Every single month, I go a minimum of a week without my medications because nothing is ever filled on time. You can not get through to anyone on the phone. Wait times of half an hour or more on the phone are not uncommon, and you still wont reach a human being. The only way to get my medications is to physically go into the store and force them to do it while I wait. I shouldnt have to hand hold someone multiple times a month every time I need a refill! Rite Aid is a multi-million dollar corporation. HIRE MORE PHARMACY WORKERS!

The people are nice, however, they now refuse to answer the telephone, and it can take over a week to get a prescription filled. This is completely unacceptable! Do yourself a favor and AVOID Rite Aid at ALL COSTS!

I dont often feel the need to leave bad reviews, but I’ve never been treated so rudely in a single store before (multiple times.) Every time I got to this pharmacy, I try to be super polite & understanding, but the pharmacist has a horrible attitude. She interrupts, rolls her eyes, and clearly does not want to be helping people. I just now called to check on a prescription: I heard her say “rite aid pharmacy will you hold” and then hold music started blasting before I could say a word. I know what it’s like when you hate your job, and she clearly hates hers. I don’t want to go to a pharmacy where I feel like my needs are a nuisance.

I’ve been using RiteAid pharmacy for the last few days and they are always so helpful. They do get really busy sometimes but have always been kind and professional. And the cashiers are always cool too. This is MY store!!! Lol!!

Ive been coming here for years & until 6ish months ago it was your usual pharmacy. Now its a total joke & covid is a lame excuse. Everytime I go there the pharmacy staff is not anymore busy than it was 1-3 years ago. Ive been calling literally 4 days in a row to see if my RX is ready (because I know its not) & I cannot get anyone to answer, today I called 3 times, yesterday I called twice. I put my refill request in 10 days ago, the automated system says it will be ready the following day which is hilarious, 7 days if you lucky. The last couple of months my refill is never ready no matter if I submitted the refill 4 days ago or even 10 days ago. Probably anywhere but here would be a better pharmacy.

The people in the Pharmacy are doing the best they can while being severely understaffed with the additional work thats been dumped on them with covid vaccines and testing. I get why customers are not happy but they should step back and try to see its not the pharmacy crews fault prescriptions are taking longer to fill and no one answers the phone. They just dont have enough people in the pharmacy to meet customer needs.I have seen this in other Rite aids in the valley too. Management needs to get this figured out soon before they burn out all their pharmacy crews and watch them quit en masse.

Second time in a row I said I was going to pick up my presciption by a certain time because they asked. I gave additional hours to be sure they were filled when I got there. Only to arrive and be told they were not ready. Pharmacist was unapologetic and rude. I was told I would have to wait 1/2-3/4 hour for him to fill the presciption which would be shortly before closing. As if my time is not valuable. I will NEVER fill a prescription there again and will encourage everyone I know to go elsewhere!

This pharmacy should instead be called Wrong Aid. To their credit though, the staff are generally pleasant, but that isnt what matters here. What matters is that my prescriptions are of a time sensitive nature and need to be consistent, in which they often ARE NOT and I end up missing the dosage intended for several days as Im waiting on the next refill that theyve failed repeatedly to get right on time. Either the medicine is out of stock or theres some ridiculous excuse as to why I cant keep my dosage consistent. Very disappointed and fed up.

Im sorry but this pharmacy makes it near impossible to serve patients in a timely manner. multiple experiences of trying to speak to ANYONE at this pharmacy and youre either placed on a never-ending hold, or the phone just rings and rings...and rings and rings. to make matters worse, the voicemail options lasts about 20 seconds before it cuts you off, which makes it difficult to even leave a detailed voicemail. and this after having to listen to a very long-winded recording about COVID before youre given the option to select to speak to the pharmacy about prescriptions. service and efficiency dont seem to be a priority.

The pharmacy no longer answers the phone. Requested two no-refills 1 week ago & have not heard anything on one of them. One was ready yesterday & the other was not. Same doctor. The only way I can find out status is to go to the store since they don’t answer the phone. What a waste of time.

The pharmacy really needs to get it together. For starters, they never answer the phone. Ive pressed 3 for the pharmacists and got no one for over 15 minutes, multiple times a day. Between the two of them Ive talked to, one wasnt super friendly and the other was just flat-out rude. I cant seem to get them to fill prescriptions for my parents who no longer can use the Phoenix location...The only reason they got the second star is because the cashiers up front were nice.

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy. Prescription refills always take at least 5 days to refill no matter when they say it will be ready. Lines and wait times are long, because they only ever have one person working the pharmacy. Trying to get my prescriptions transfered was the worst. They told me a dozen times that all medications were transfered, but two weeks later I was still calling to follow up on getting them to transfer them per the dozen fax requests they were sent. They do not care about customers at all.

Absolutely, hands down, the worst pharmacy in the area. We were forced to try and deal with them as the Phoenix Rite Aid was closed due to the Almeda fire, and we had scripts that needed to be refilled. The staff was semi-helpful, when the line stretched literally across the front of the store, they finally opened a second window but just allowed those waiting to swarm, instead of calling over the next customer in line. When it was our turn, the clerk was curt, rude and inflexible until we demanded that she actually check for possible refills, and we were able to get one of three oked that day. 6 days later, we still got no notice that the other two were ready. I spent 27 minutes listening to the pharmacy phone ring, continually hitting 3 when the call reverted back to the main menu, and never got a human on the line. Thank all the powers that be that Phoenix is back up and running and we can avoid using the Medford location. It is a disaster, a nightmare, and a disappointment. The single star is to fulfill the must pick a star in order to post requirement, not an endorsement of their horrible customer service.

The employees at the pharmacy have poor customer service skills and are rude. I finally walked out and will not be returning, after trying politely to tolerate them yet cringing every time I knew I had to go there. I really hope they find a career they like, because this isnt it; they appear miserable. While waiting in line, I have clearly heard them in conversations degrading their customers with some foul language. The cashiers and other parts of the store are fine, but I cannot recommend the pharmacy.

Rude pharmacy tech, Antonio, 4 hours to fill faxed Rx. Pharmacists always changing and they provide no customer service or care to their patients. To be honest, automatic dispensaries would be more efficient and just as effective as the horrible example of a pharmacy that this Rite-aid is. Horrible staffing on the weekends.

Prescriptions are a little expensive. They have sales with good prices. Vitamins are almost always buy one get one! Like most pharmacies they carry alot of other items too.

I worked at rite aid, years ago. I got to work and gave the pharmacy my rx(it was pain medicine). I kept checking back, even after 4 hours, it had not been started! I, finally waited, till the end of my shift, the pharmacy had it for 7 1/2 hours and still not ready. It took me until the following day, to get it. Horrible place to get rd, they do not trust their employees, I finally quit, couldnt take the abuse, you dont want, to shop or work for rite aid, Medford Center, Medford, OR!!!!

So bad it was sort of funny, in a laugh or cry sort of way. I would get a text saying my prescription was ready, drive over there, stand in line with other disgruntled customers sharing our stories about how bad the service was, get to the counter and no filled prescription ready for me, and then told it would be a many-hour wait to get it filled. I asked a pharmacy clerk why they didn’t get more help and she said no one would want to work there because it was so bad, as in chaotic and disorganized. I asked why I received a text saying my prescription was ready when it wasn’t and she said their main office doesn’t know how backed up they are. I guess when I ordered online that system has a certain time it must be filled so a text is sent, but this pharmacy never seemed to meet that timeframe. I have many, many more incidents of really poor service. I feel sorry for the staff who are overloaded and hear lots of complaints. I am curious why their management doesnt fix it. I went there throughout 2014 because my drug plan was tied into Rite-Aid. In 2015 I changed my drug plan so I did not have to go there anymore. I appreciate the new pharmacy so much after dealing with this pharmacy. The new one is so organized and they have helpful systems, and no lines because my meds arrive in the mail. Life is good again.

I generally dislike chain stores but I needed ASAP what I thought was a common product. I called six stores looking for it. Walmart put me hold twice for over twenty minutes. Other stores had never heard of it, told me to try the co-op or said it didnt exist.Rebecca answered this Rite Aid stores phone, knew what I was requesting and when I told her I was disabled, brought it up to the checkout. When my husband walked to the check stand he said, Mywife- and Rebecca called out I have it right here while waiving it in the air.NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE!

I have used the Rite Aid pharmacy for three years, I had never had problems with auto refills and waiting for a prescription; BUT the last few months, getting my prescription has been HORRIBLE. I had to wait over 2 hours for a flu shot, another day I came in the a new prescription and I had to wait 3 hours, now they have forgotten my auto refills and I am out of medication and they refuse to assist me other than for me to call my prescribing doctor for a refill. I dont know what happen, they say they are short staffed, but for over two months??? Hire someone for heavens sake!!! After this months prescriptions I will be moving my pharmacy, I might try Walmart.

I have used this pharmacy for many years and had no problems getting my prescriptions. Recently, however, this is not the case. First off, I tried contacting them by phone for over a week to get a refill on my sons prescription, and I could not get ahold of ANYONE. The phone just kept ringing. So I called the front desk, and all they did was transfer me back over to the pharmacy. I was on hold for over 20 minutes before giving up.A few days ago I drove over there to talk to someone in person and waited for 45 minutes in line. The first woman I spoke with told me they did not have my sons prescription in their system. So I asked to speak with someone else, who checked and verified that they did in fact have it, but I would have to return the next day to pick it up. Next day, another 45 minutes in line, just to be told it was not ready and to come back the next day. At this point I told them I wanted to have his prescription transferred to another pharmacy and was told I would have to have the new pharmacy send them a fax.So I went down to Walgreens and had this done. It has now been 2 full days and several phone calls to Walgreens, who have now faxed them THREE TIMES and they have yet to send them anything. Meanwhile, my son is over here having a horrible time with allergies because he is completely out of his medication. I am LIVID.And, of course, I have to throw in that cliche line, The only reason Im giving it one star is because I cant give it zero. Ridiculous.

(This relates to the new Phoenix branch of Rite Aid)My family had been using the Phoenix Pharmacy for years. They were always kind and very helpful about getting the correct generics for our medication sensitivities. Then sadly the original owner retired and sold the store to someone else. There were a few hiccups but everything was generally okay. Then the new owner sold the store to Rite AidOh. My. God.The new staff is some of the most mind numbingly incompetent buffoons you can think of. They wouldnt fill our proper generics, they wouldnt let us talk to someone higher up to try and fix the problem. One of the new staff members seemed like she could barely speak English (and only trained to check people out), not exactly the type of person thats good to have when youre dealing with substances that might be vital to someones life.Save your sanity (and maybe your life) and go somewhere else

I have used Rite Aid pharmacy for almost 10 yeasts now and I have had it with their poor customer service lies!!!! Or prescriptions are never ever ready when they tell me they will be. ...I have to wait fire days to get refills and wait for up to an hour sometimes at the pharmacy just to pick them up. ..its absolutely ridiculous so I have transferred over to another pharmacy...If I were you I would stay away!!!!
