Neil Brown was fantastic! Chevy quoted me $1400 to fix ONE thing on my vehicle. I took it to neil and he quoted me $375 to fix the same thing. To fix 7 large things It is only going to be $600 more than chevy said for one thing. He is great!!!!

Neil and all the folks who work with him are great mechanics. They give honest estimates and have never tried to upsell me on anything. I recommend this mechanic shop to anyone in the area looking for one, and all the folks I know who have gone to him are pleased with the honesty and quality of work they do.

Last week I took my car in to see why it was sputtering. They said it needed new spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and injectors cleaned. They road tested it and charged me $370. After a day or two, I noticed it was still sputtering and got same engine warning light. So they said they would look at it. This time, it was the ignition coil, which he marked the price up $40 for me and charged me another 2 hours labor, to fix the problem for real this time. $300 bucks this time. I wish he would have gave me a break since they missed the real problem the first time, yet charged me and road tested it which means they run errands in my car before giving it back to me. He got smart with me, saying I could ride the bus, that cars are expensive. And marking up prices on parts is how he keeps the roof over his head. Im worried about driving to work so I can keep a roof over my head. Ive been going to him for years, but this last episode will cause me to look elsewhere.

They are always fast, friendly, and a way better deal than any mechanics in the valley. I live down in Ashland now, but still drive the extra 25 miles to get work done. Highly recommended!!!!

Just went to Neils for the first time and saved me a very expensive repair that another shop said I needed. The other shop said I had an exhaust manifold crack that did not exist. Neil fixed it for $110 instead of $1700.
