While traveling out of town my son had car trouble and his alternator needed to be replaced, being 2000 miles from home I called this place of business and explained my situation but was stopped cold upon them answering the phone with they are booked up until next week and could not help me unless I wanted to wait until then. Really, I could not believe they would not even consider helping out a stranded traveler.Thankfully I found Rouge Automobile who was also booked up but always willing to help out a stranded traveler. Shame on you guys Medford Autocare Center.

Poor customer service!!! My husbands car broke down and was towed to this shop. I am sure the people actually working on the car were very nice and did a good job. However the person answers phone calls was very rude and trying to get any information from was like pulling teeth. They have had a our 10 days as two working parents we need to know whats going on so we can figure out how we are getting everyone to everything Horrible Horrible customer service, we will not be returning!!!

Here from out of town and our check engine light came on. They were very helpful and friendly and eased our worry of car trouble while being so far from home. Definitely recommend to anyone in town or just passing through.

By far the best shop Ive ever dealt with! If you are in need of a mechanic I highly recommend Medford AutoCare Center. We broke down 500 miles from home and these guys got us up and running in a timely manner. Honest, reliable, great pricing and always in contact with what was happening on my car. Mark and his crew are awesome! I had a hitch and wiring installed in Portland incorrectly at U-Haul then I drove to Medford to pick up my RV only to realize I couldnt drive back until it was fixed. They were able to call the U-Haul in Portland and deal with their mishap professionally and effeciently. I didnt have to do anything other than wait and they utilized they excellent customer service to dealing with the billing and coordination with a Portland U-Haul. They knew that I couldnt go anywhere til it was completed and because of the special circumstances stayed after hours to complete the job. All and all I would highly highly recommend Medford AutoCare Center for going above and beyond in way.

Thanks for wasting my time this morning. Yesterday I called to make sure I can have my truck aligned. The guy on the phone said that I can drop it off in the morning and should be done by afternoon/late afternoon. I get there this morning just after 9 and I must’ve interrupted this guy’s solitaire game as he tells me there’s no way they can get it today.

I was traveling from New Mexico when my alternator went out, needless to say I was so stressed out had to get back home every place I call cannot get me the right alternator and could not get me in for a week to two weeks. And then I called Medford Auto Care and the manager Jody took very good care of me and my car. I was able to get in right away and my car is running great. Made it home safely. Will definitely recommend the shop to anybody and Jody.

I called Medford auto on Monday and told them my water pump was going out and that I also needed a new battery! They told me to bring it in that night, and by the following afternoon it was done and done right at a great price!

Customer Service is spectacular, came in the morning 8am. They diagnosed my van and let me know what steps to take, to keep it running smooth. Prices are much reasonable, they get the job done thats for sure.

If I could leave less stars I would. Service is the worst here. I realize this company has been around for a long time, but maybe thats when the father/son team was only ran by Big Daddy who originally owned this company. NOW, the spoiled son named Kyle, (I think) just acted like I was inconveniencing him by giving them my business.I was referred to this company by a friend since I am new to the area, but while I am a resident here in Medford I will only give a negative review of this family owned business. Sad. I remember when business was better in the olden days.The short comments and rude customer service is one thing I cannot forgive. Even when you have good work done, without good face to face interaction, you just stink and are pure two thumbs down in my book. I will never give this company my money again. I tried them out twice. Both times I regretted it from my first interaction.Grow up and learn that you are giving service, we as the consumer pay you, not the other way around.

I would recommend anyone to this business, always call you if there is another issue with your car you were unaware of. Give you an honest estimate, call you when your car is done. Will give you a ride to work while they fix your auto, awesome guys.

They guys here are great! This is the second vehicle that I have brought here and they have done excellent work on both. They are honest and don’t try to hide charges or up sell stuff I don’t need. Best auto shop that I have found in Southern Oregon.

Efficient honest sincere excellent customer service Larry is an amazing owner and the staff and mechanics very honest straightforward I live out of the area now but if I still lived in Medford I would absolutely be going to Medford Auto Care highly recommended.. I used to own a taxi cab company and Larry and the staff kept my cars running at top shape with three hundred thousand plus miles on one of them.. I actually got compliments many times on how nice and well the car ran.... Ive never had a mechanic shop where I felt completely confident that I wasnt getting a Snow Job one way or the other.... I recommend using Medford AutoCare if you need auto services and you are in the Medford area. They do very good work at reasonable rates and are honest in their services. Mark at Medford AutoCare is very patient with the customers, even those that are persistent mechanics and ask lots of technical questions like me! They have worked on my daughters car on multiple occasions and also treat her with respect which I appreciate greatly!

Mark and his crew are exceptional. I took my Toyota pickup to 2 different places, one in Arizona and one here...both said I needed a new muffler. So, within the space of 2 years I bought 2 mufflers, neither fixed the problem. Mark and company found gaskets which were blown in a crossover pipe. Hooray!Tom HintonMedford

If a place is proven to be dishonest and is harmful to the communitys economy and takeing advantage of citizens they should be held accountable . I have reported this business to the BBB and also taking further action as i would recommend to anyone who is a victim of false advertisement of warranty and the breach of contract when it comes to repairing a vehicle if businesses are held to a standard it makes it better for the honest business to succeed as well as preventing further victims of this Behavior. Most of the positive reviews on here are not from customers and are fake reviews to make them look better if you have experience you can tell the difference

I went to this business because the check engine light came on when I was driving through that area. They read the code for “free” (per the owner and his website—see the upper right hand corner) and then they tried to order the supposedly needed part for it and couldn’t get it in for 5 days.I couldn’t wait five days for them to get the “check engine light” problem fixed while heading north. The part they identified would have been the wrong part. When I got home I bought the correct part and put it in myself. It was a different part than what the owner identified on his bill. Worse yet he charged me $89.95 for his alleged “free” code engine check and his erroneous part identification (listed on his bill) he couldn’t get locally.By Oregon State Law his business is required to provide a written estimate before starting any billable work. The owner failed to provide this to me and I unfortunately failed to firmly insist on a written estimate. I unfortunately trusted them with a verbal contract. They apparently don’t give a written estimate unless you request it first according to their website (listed under “Why Choose Us”).If they complied with state law and gave me a written estimate in advance we could have negotiated a fair and reasonable agreement on some other work they did. However, they then could not have charged me $160.00 over what I had authorized in our verbal contract. That overcharge included the aforementioned $89.95 for the bogus code scan diagnosis and attempted ‘wrong’ part ordering.I would suggest that you don’t let them do a “free” code reading or anything else before you first obtain a written estimate documenting that this is truly free. The written estimate should clearly identify the true cost for this diagnosis because it is definitely not free. You are otherwise on your own with little recourse when you are shocked and horrified with the total bill that may have no resemblance to your verbal agreement.I would hope that the owner would amend his business philosophy/website and comply with state law so this doesn’t continue with future customers. I have had a rather disheveling experience with the owner of this shop and don’t plan to ever return. I would personally choose one of the other shops in the area with far better YELP ratings for future work.In closing I would suggest that you have an auto parts store like O’Reilly provide your free code scan reading and correct part(s) identification--thereby saving yourself $89.95 and a lot of headaches.

Ive dealt with Medford Autocare a few different times now over the last few years. The service has always been outstanding. I am one to work on my own vehicles as it is something I enjoy but there are times that SHTF. This happened this last week while my wife was on her way into work. I told her No problem, just take it by Medford Autocare and they will take care of it. It was something I have been meaning to get to over the last few weeks and didnt want to pay to have it done. Well I waited too long and it grew worse quickly. Mark quickly got it in and fixed while she was at work and even picked her up when she was off. Not only this but they were extremely fair with the price (If I had known beforehand I probably would have taken it to them myself earlier). These are stand up guys with a great reputation for good reason.

Came in for an easy automobile solution for my company. The guy working the desk did nothing but mumble, mope, and complain the whole time he was taking care of things. Made several mentions that my business was such a hassle for him. At the end of the day, he got the work done in a mostly timely fashion, but I would never use this place for another project.

They care,and they are honest. I trust him and know he will do what needs done and done right.
