After posting a long winded one star review about my 8 week disaster, I got a typical corporate response to side step the issue. I contacted Jim about the response as it did not help the matter. After talking with Jim we were able to have a positive conversation. The timing happened to work out and Mazda was able to provide me with a loaner. The customer service has also been transparent for the first time and I no longer have to initiate phone calls. Mazda earned another star, perhaps one more if all goes well over the next couple weeks. Lena and Vanessa are still amazing. Thanks you two.
Super disappointed. Found the perfect vehicle listed price might have been a little bit more than I wanted to pay. To only find out it should have never been on the website. Was sold before even listed. Not even a very good explanation as to why it was not available, just an oh well.By your response is obvious you did not even bother to read the details of my review. The vehicle was never available, sold before listed. Salesman didnt really care.
I worked with Isaac, Rich, and Roy and they were all so very helpful. I feel like they understood what our certain situation was and really went above and beyond (kept in contact with me almost daily) to find me the car I needed and within my budget. I would definitely recommend them!
We had our 2016 CX 5 towed to Carter Lake Mazda for a late night drop off. On a trip from San Francisco to British Columbia the drain plug for the oil pan fell off, we lost all oil and then, of course, the engine.Phil, the Mazda service manager, went above and beyond to help us. He managed to squeeze us in to a schedule that was booked out for two weeks. He confirmed that engine was frozen and the drain plug was lodged near the rear of the car somehow. Kind and generous. He helped with by speaking with our home base Mazda service manage. He helped with advice on car rental, on transferring a loaded CX 5 to a rental, and with keeping our disabled car on site until the transport arrives to take it south.Based on how we were helped by everyone at that dealership and service department, I would recommend this company to anyone.
Recently purchased a used car from Crater lake Mazda. I am extremely happy with service! Rich Outfleet was a genuine human being, no pressure and he hustled to get a car that we wanted ready togo within hours. Exceptional customer service experience! Along with all the rest of the staff as well! Thanks again Rich for putting up with my impatience, your the best!
I have purchased a car from them, worked with a Glen, salesman. I wanted to report a bad experience with this dealership. He was not knowledgable in terms of car buying process, and took a lot of time to go back and forth. Majority of time his answer was I will ask to my managerBut it is fine. Its ok to not know about things. I am really really disappointed by his attitude after sale happened. Right after I gave them a check, he turned his back to me.He told me car was thoroughly checked. When I got it, fuel level sensor malfunction light came on. I reported it to him to share some responsibility, but he said Too bad that you did not purchase extended warranty, car is as is. Starter motor is wrong now. So, dont trust this peoples inspection. He is supposed to follow up after the sale and provide necessary documents to let me drive legally. We agreed $300 check because the car was dirty for the detail (He said car was detailed!) I asked when can I get the check. He said I dont have control over financial department. I asked when can I get the copy of signed document, so I can drive on the road legally. He said I dont know, then I asked Who is financial manager? Can I get a contact number? He ignores. I had to ask more then 3 times if I can get the contact to the financial manager.See the screenshot and feel how much I have frustrated with this people.Funny thing is I still did not get the $300 check. Its been 2 weeks since they told me the check is sent.
I drove 3 hours to buy my truck. Glen Still and the rest of the staff did a excellent job meeting our goals.highly recommend doing business with them.
Love my Mazda but Crater Lake Mazda is the worst for service I have seen in owning 15 autos. They are not trained at the front desk or in the shop.I got my 2nd Mazda from Power Mazda in Salem - what a great team they have.I do not recommend you buy a Mazda until Crater Lake Mazda gets their act together. It has gotten worse since Lithia bought them.Neil H
I recently purchased a 2015 Mazda CX-5 with 119,000 miles. I was told by Rich the sales person that my car went through a thorough inspection, I even purchased an extended warranty. Broke down not even a week into having it, didnt even make my first payment. Now Im having to cover a tow to get it back to them an hour and a half away!!! Poor customer service!!!When they say its gone through an inspection guaranteed lie, slide me off the lot in a broke down car with an extended warranty that covers nothing.slimy.
Great place to buy a car !!! Chris and Roy his manager went the extra mile and even delivered the car to my house !!! Thanks guys !!!
I would not take your vehicle here for service. They were suppose to replace the O2 sensor in the Mazda CX-5. Instead, they drain the coolant out of the system, did not properly burp the system of air; and cause a failure for heating ( no heating inside vehicle). They then claim the heater core was damage and needed to be replaced, and they claimed it happened before they did service. This is not true, the heater was blowing hot air before service. They lied and refused to acknowledge it. We took it to another repair shop, they agree that the heater core was not damage and it just needed to be burp of air. I took it to Neil auto repair in medford, took them less than a day to burp. Also, they never fix the O2 sensor problem, but we got charged for it. They are absolutely incompetent as mechanics, and have a manager that has no clue how vehicle work or is just a two face.To the owner that review my review, youre incompetent. There is no need for a response to this. You will not make thing right, when all you do is hired incompetent mechanics and managers that have no clue to what they are doing; or, they do and taking advantage of ignorant people.
The young man who helped us was nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle we ate interested in. No hard sell and that was very nice.
Smooth quick process from start to finish !Leased a Soul Red Crystal MAZDA 3 TURBO AWDIts a blast to drive !Watch out Subaru !!! Theres a new sheriff in town!
Roy and Isaac are amazing. They did what no other dealership could do. I will forever be recommending people to them!! Thank you for all of your help and hard work.
Had a great experience with this dealership. Didnt have the model I was looking for but was willing to search out and had it transferred to them. Nick Kelley took great care of me. Will for sure keep them in mind when we are ready to change out our CX5 for something new.
Got a great deal on a Mazda. The people at Crater Lake Mazda were easy to work with, accommodating, no-pressure and very helpful. Five out of five stars for Cody and everybody else we worked with there!
They are understaffed but very willing to help .
Bought a used Toyota Corolla from Joel Valdez at Crater Lake Mazda. He was awesome! Worked with me through the whole process. He took the time to find the car that perfectly fit my needs and then helped guide me through all the financing. The financing department were also great! I never felt pressured. I would absolutely recommend Crater Lake Mazda and specifically Joel to all my friends and family.
Service department ignores customersI had some recalls get done its been over 2 weeks I dont even know the status of my car. Service dept never answers the phone and never calls back.
The service dept.will definitely ignore their customers as i saw above in another persons review. They were aware i was waiting because an employee working at the desk inside even went over there and asked them to help me.I waited for about 40 minutes then took my business somewhere else when i saw 3 other cars pulled up After me & they helped them & decided not to help me for whatever reason.I spend Alot of money at the Ford dealership across the street & it was my 1st & last time going to this place.I do not recommend going here.
I like our new-to-us used car. Thank you for your quick service.
We are from San Francisco. Our Mazda broke down on our way back and we were stuck and eager to have our car repaired to be able to get back to work. This Mazda dealer flat out refused to even have a look at the car before 1 week since they said they would have to honor all appointments first. I get it - if I have an appointment I want it to be done in a certain time - but this is just a big letdown from Mazda (an official dealer represents them!). Lessen learned: If your car breaks down and you need an emergency repair do NOT EVER go to dealer service facilities!!!
Very friendly staff. Quick service.
Been trying to reach customer service for 2 days. At least 6-7 calls. No answer. Apparently nobody works in customer service. I had to call the Mazda in Salem for them to answer my questions
We own two Mazdas, and I would never go here for service. The customer service is an absolute joke. I have left 4 messages in order to have some warranty work done, as well as have a servicing and I havent received any calls back. They also had my friends Mazda in the shop for over 4 months awaiting a part from overseas. They told him it wasnt going to come, in which he started looking for a new car. Then the part arrived, and they called him to tell him the work was complete and if he didnt pay that day, the bill would be sent to collections! Ridiculous dealership, terrible staff. After having the car for 4 months, they didnt even offer to clean it..... terrible service.
The best car buying experience Ive had by far. Joel Valdez helped me find the perfect used car. Amazingly low miles and a fantastic price. He made it quick and easy! Hes a great sales man.
I first bought my 2008 Mazda 3 in 2007 and they were courteous, and helped me get EXACTLY what I wanted. Their service has always been exemplary. I returned to purchase my 2014 Mazda 6 from them, with very exact specifications and once again, EXACT MATCH. I have since sent friends in who have purchased vehicles (both new and used) and had the same outstanding experience. THANK YOU CRATER LAKE MAZDA for your excellent sales and service. I will always come back!!
I had the best time picking up my new car with Joel Valdez! He was super helpful and gave us the best deal for our money! I will definitely come back to buy my second car from Joel!!!
Very friendly staff that isnt too pushy. It was nice to have all of our questions answered and be able to go home and think about our options. Id happily do business with them again!
I recently purchased a car from Crater Lake Mazda and during my research process I meant one of the salesmans name Joel that work at Mazda he went out and greet me and asked me some questions about my next vehicle and what i was looking for and as I was walking around I couldnt find anything that caught my eye but he mentioned some Vehicles across the street that sounds like it would suit my needs as he went cross the street to grab a car I definitely like the way the car looked specially the low miles it was the perfect car for me as he went over the the perks and the benefits of the vehicle it was definitely the right fit for me Joel Valdez was a really well knowledge salesmen and definitely help me find the perfect car that I was looking for non pressure buying experience I definitely recommend him to anybody thats looking for their next vehicle go see Joel Valdez thanks....
In and out of the Express Lube side.Very kind and respectful service writer. This was an experience to duplicate.
Joel V. was a GREAT sales man no pressure let me decide between 3 cars!! Lots of test drives pulling ALL the smelly things out of the car. ExplaIning how to work all the new gadgets. And all of the car service stuff has been VERY helpful ALSO thank you.
Had three issues with my Mazda covered under extended warranty. They would not look at my car unless I paid them $135/ issue ($405!). I had all issues serviced by another mechanic for a total of $215!! My experience is they don’t care about customers or the stress of making repairs to vehicles. Do not recommend!
Great service, in on time - out on time.
Joel was very patient and helpful. No high pressure tactics although he was persistent regarding the Perma Guard system - I declined it and within a day had a chip in my windshield. To his credit there was no I told you so and he offered to help sync my phone to the car. Overall a very good experience considering I only purchase a new car every 20 years or so ...whether I need it or not...
I recently bought my Mazda 3 iSport and was very pleased with the level of service. Joel V. was a pleasure to work with, an awesome sales rep without the pressure. I gave him my terms of what I was looking for & costs and he made it happen. The Service Center technicians are all very friendly and professional. I look forward to future business here.
Great cars, great expertise in repair but they need to work on their customer service. Posted: line in service department with 5 employees ignoring customers waiting.
I am extremely disappointed in Mazda. As a once loyal customer of Mazda vehicles, I will changing my attitude for future purchases. Unreliable, unhelpful, and unresponsive.
The quality of the new Mazda CX5s. This is the trim separating from the roof which they consider acceptable . Wish I would of known this before I purchased.. They will not fix. BUYER BEWARE
Excellent staff very helpful very professional in the field Crater Lake Ford
Was there for only 2 minutes before a salesman came out and was very rude to my mom and I. Left instantly. Guess there was a reason the lot was empty today. Time to find a CX-5 anywhere but here. Also I’ve worked in the auto industry for years. This is not acceptable behavior for someone who works commission.
Good people easy to buy a car
Parked in front of the Sales Dept, wandered the lot for 15 min. Guess they didnt want to sell a car. Ill move to a different place or go to Bend Mazda I guess.
Dan Vogt made my car buying experience worth it! Very knowledgable and he worked hard to get me the best deal -- loving my new car! Thanks Dan and to all who worked with me.
I loved the service and the people! Thank you very much! :-D
We are from Texas and were visiting the Medford area for work purposes. We visited the dealership and test drove the 17 Mazda CX-5. The car, the test drive and the help of Nicolaus Bell were what sold us. Although we didnt end up purchasing one in OR, there is one awaiting our arrival in Houston tomorrow. Nicolaus Bell, I wish you could receive the monetary reward, but instead, Im giving you a shout out for your professionalism and our ultimate thanks!
I recently got a new 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring from Crater Lake Mazda. Although I had researched the car before hand, I had lots of questions and had not completely committed to buying one. Then I met Mr. Dan Vogt and it turned out to be a great experience. Dan was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had plus give me a slew of information about the car, the warranties, service, safe ratings that I hadnt even thought of yet. He went over every safety feature and creature feature of the car, asked a few questions and magically produced exactly what we wanted. If your looking for a new or used car or SUV, I would highly recommend you give Crater Lake Mazda a once over and ask to see Mr. Vogt. You will not be sorry, and probably, like me, a little bit amazed. We love the car and feel very comfortable having Crater Lake Mazda standing behind it. And best of all, there was zero sales pitches or pressure.
Great place to do business.
Great models on display
I was there for 45 minutes and no one was on the property at all.
Great!
