Really like this store!!!😃👍😃👍 Its not far from home and I enjoy just browsing the aisles. I grew up on a farm so I can relate to lots of the products they sell here. And prices are reasonable. The folks that work there seem to know what they are talking about and are willing to help in whatever way they can.👍👍👍

Forrest was the employee that impressed me most with his knowledge for the items I came in to purchase. My doberman Bailey also really liked him and we are here for our second visit specifically to see Forrest again. She was happy to see him and would eat treats for him but not for me. I give him more than five stars! Thanks again, Forrest, for your time and patience with us! We will be back!!!

Associate was able to locate forth tire I needed for my yard tractor in no time at all was courteous and very helpful in an out of store in no time at all

Unfriendly staff and messy dirty store.. The cashier, Ashley, was eating food and playing on her phone.. Definitely not run the Tractor way.. sales might be good, however, you are lacking in every other department

I walked in and WASN’T greeted.RUDE !! Employee who was plumped with ginger hair looked at me rudely. I paid for my stuff and he kind of held on to the bag as I was leaving... soo weird I wasn’t sure why he held on . WILL NEVER BE BACK!!Update : Just found my receipt the rude worker who served me name was Daniel. Please train him how to have respect and act like he wants to be a positive role model for the company.

TSC has great selection of supplies at great prices. This particular store has great customer service and an excellent location. Was able to source materials for a pretty solid fence line.

Was so happy to see all employees were following CDC guidelines for Covid. Also, everyone was kind and helpful but Chip and Mary Elizabeth went above and beyond. We look forward to our next trip to Tractor Supply.

Why would you open up at 8 most people are up and ready to go to work but instead yall decide to slack off and open at 8 instead of 6:30 or 7 Like Home Depot or Lowes, do better, step it up start opening at least at 7 lazys

Pretty nice place, the staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a large selection of items for a variety of needs. Tool, tool storage, live stock, yard fowl, ect. Prices are a little high on some items but its worth it for the service and selection.

Had to wait in line to get in because they said couldnt be more than 50 people inside. APPARENTLY, they do not know how to count, there was less than 20 people and once you get in you are NOT allowed to go out to look at the items outside or else you will be forced to wait in line to get back inside! I will forever go out of my way to go to southern states instead of this joke of a hole.

Product availability is good. Once in a blue moon, it is hard to find specific bird seed. But all else is there in the store. They have a lot of repeat customers and are known by store personnel. Quite evident while in the checkout line. You can start up a conversation quickly and meet some fine people. The best part is the great customer service.

It was go but again did not have what I wanted and needed in stock,but the sales person was very helpful

The tractor supply I usually shop at was out of the beet pulp I use for my horses so I came up here for it as soon as i walked in the whole store looked like its a state of chaos they only had one bag of my beet pulp pellets bag was torn asked an employee if they had any more of it in the back the employee was rude and acted as if I interrupted her. Then to cashier who obviously doesnt care about store policy on damage merchandise and the discount for it as she told me the total without the discount when I brought it up to her she huffed and rolled her eyes. This is the worst tractor supply Ive been in they need some customer service taught to them if they even care to learn it

Easy to find what I need. Always clean. Fair amount of stocked shelves. Friendly checkout. Its that time of the year...baby chicks and ducklings in the store! Love that.

One of my favorite stores. Has the best prices on anything animal or outdoor related. It’s like a hardware store on steroids. Check it out for yourself very soon.

Thankful that we have a TSC in Mechanicsville. They are an excellent value to fill your small propane tanks. In addition, they stock items that are useful for rural and suburban Hanover County residents. Their work jeans, shirts, and boots are durable, and good value when they are on sale.

I went today to purchase some items at 11.00 am, and there were several customers without a mask and nobody told them nothing.

Watch for the monthly Vet that goes there and gives vaccinations and also puts in Microchips. Very good deal. I had my Dog chipped for about half the price. And fast too.

Always buy our dog food and chicken supplies here. Love the home decor options they have too! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Love this store!

Oh my goodness! If you have never been in this store because I hadnt. They have everything from 6 tall rooster to infant size John Deere socks...so cute!!! They have animal feed, dog houses (to get the one I wanted, I need the help of someone with a truck), but I did get a kidney shaped dog pool. They have beautiful and unique outside decor, like those huge wagon wheels and metal stars, kayaks, bee keepers suits. Heck, they even had an inflatable dog cone collar. They also have a huge collection of boots and clothing. This store referred me to the one in Ashland to see the bigger size doghouse. Helpful staff. Did I say, I loved this store!

You come in, you get what you need for your animals, and you get out. Tractor Supply features that no muss, no fuss utilitarian attitude to customer service. Folks wont go out of their way to help you, but when you do get someone, theyre dedicated to finding you a solution for your need. One issue I tend to find with this TSC though, they always seem to be short staffed up front. There never seems to be enough people around to efficiently fulfill the duties of cashier, customer service, and cart retrieval.

It is ok. Staff are generally friendly, store is clean. Parking is plentiful. Wish they carried more products bearing name brands / made in USA vs the cheap Chinese knock-offs that fill their shelves. It is like a farmers harbor freight.

I was hunting for a couple items at closing time in this store (Id never been in a Tractor Supply) and the staff was extremely helpful and patient even though Im sure they were eager to close up and get home. The young male cashier insisted on carrying out my chicken feed and told me some other great features and upcoming events at the store. I was stunned at how much they carry. Great guy, great store!

Today I went to tractor supply to get my my weekly food stop. The experience was AWFUL. When we walked in I started to gag of the smell. Then we walked over to the chickens and half of them were dead and smelt horrible. After that my daughter looks over and sees a rat running through the isle. And the worker thought we were snobs because we were concerned there were rats. I will NEVER go back to this location. The workers were rude and the place was not clean at all. This totally ruined my experience.

Staff was wonderful and more than willing to help me pick out a crate for our new puppy Tulip, and then hold her while I took the crate to the car. Price of the small 2 door crate was excellent.

Staff was very helpful finding items I was looking for. This place has a good selection for your outdoor/farming needs at a decent price.

Bought a Husky Riding mower a few months ago from them 3 weeks later the engine locked up it wouldnt turn over at all when i would turn the key it made a clicking sound like it wanted to turn over but would not turn over I tried jump starting it to see if the battery was dead samething. I took it back to the store they immediately replaced it with another one with no questions asked.

They have the best prices on dog food and with 3 dogs I can use any and all discounts and my dogs love their toys from tractor supply

Helpful staff. Can be a little pricey on some typical items but its convenient and has a good selection of items.

Always pleased with the staff and the selection here. I never thought of Tractor Supply for tools and welding equipment but after going in for bushhog blades and seeing not only the equipment but very competitive pricing I made this my go to for future purchases.

Busier than what I expected. Very efficient and friendly.

So, I go to buy a utility trailer that was on sale and after finding one that wasnt dented, a broken tail light or rusting, I purchased it. The tail light still needed to be hooked up and they would call me when it was done. Three days later and no call so I went by to pick it up. I was informed it had been sold to someone else!! They rest of the trailers they had were damaged and basically I was out of luck. I got my money back. I did contact the customer service center to see if I could still get another one even though the sale had now ended, and to find out how something like this could happen. I was informed that the District manager would be in contact with me .....3 weeks and no contact from the District manager or the store. Kinda sucks!I like Tractor Supply and have been treated very well in most that I have been too, but I have to blame management for the poor customer service and operational flaws at store 169 in Mechanicsville, VA. I wont be back.

I dont give negative reviews but today is a first. Im an 135 lb, 54 female and I have my hands full of merchandise and a 55 lb bag of dog food on my shoulder. Your female cashier didnt ask if I needed help with anything and your male sales associate stood 10 damn ft away and stared. If my dog didnt like YOUR brand of food so much, I wouldve left the bag of dog food on the floor where I nearly dropped it on someone in front of me. Seriously considering going elsewhere.
