On 9/11/2021 my husband and I brought my son to the Mechanicsville Store located on Bell Creek Rd to purchase a twin mattress set. I do not recall the salesmans name but he was the only one in there that evening and there were no other customers in the store. My son tried a couple of beds out and settled on one he liked. During the whole paperwork process we felt rushed. He explained the bare minimum to us about our options on paying. Leaving the store I noticed that our address was listed incorrectly on our store receipt. My husband goes back in to have it corrected because we had chose delivery to our home. The salesman assured my husband that the address was corrected in the stores system. On 9/ 27/21 I get a text message wanting me to confirm my delivery on 9/28/21. As Im looking at the message I noticed that the delivery address is STILL wrong. I didnt confirm the text message because I didnt want our set to go to the wrong address. My husband calls the Mechanicsville Store and speaks to a gentleman by the name of Cameron who was very polite. We tell him the situation and he informed us that the salesman we bought the set from was no longer employed there but he would try to help us as best as he could. He looks up our account and on the store side it shows the corrected address but not on the delivery side and he could not change it. He then instructed my husband to call a number which was to a gentleman who was in charge of delivery. So my husband did and the gentleman was very polite as well. Needless to say the set made it to our home but its very frustrating that we had to jump through all these hoops to make sure our set got to the correct address. Never at any point should the customer have to do the work of your employees.

So, this is a three day adventure.Day one was well, I came alone to look at beds for me and my partner. They were kind on arrival and let me be as I wanted to investigate. When asked if they would be open the next day the response was yes.Day 2 my partner and I went to the store to wait for an hour for doors that wouldnt open. There had been an emergency but there was no signage or phones being answered. After an email they escalated the issue and were quick to apologize and willing to work on making sure that IF we decided to buy from there that they would make it right.Day 3 my partner and I went to the store. A gentleman named Conrad acknowledged there had been communications sent down, and although busy, took the time to let us test the beds we wanted, and also negotiate on how they could make up for it.So I will say this, there isnt a 5 star review here because there was an issue but, I will say they were kind and quick to make up for that mistake. For this I would say they are worth stopping by and getting to see if there is a mattress there, or bedroom accessory, that you like. They will take care of you, and if they falter in that aspect they will make up for it as quickly as they can.

We had such a wonderful experience with Mattress Warehouse in Mechanicsville. They have a machine you lay on that recommends mattresses that fit to your specific needs. The staff is amazingly knowledge able about different brands and mattresses. They worked with us to get us the best deal with the mattress we fell in love with. Their delivery tracking is amazing. The night before your delivery you can see when your mattress is on the delivery truck and they give and estimate window of time for delivery. The day of, you can see what stop you are, what stop they are currently at, and the arrival estimate constantly updates. I was so nervous to make such a big purchase that we will have for potentially 15+ years and they made me feel 100% confident. I would 10/10 recommend! Could not have been easier. Will return for all future mattress needs!

Well the sales staff was great but there was a problem with delivery. frame came but no bed so I called and was assured that they would make it up to me with a refund on other items. Well 3 weeks have passed now and no sign of a refund.I paid for everything in full. I really dont want this to be a bad experience. But what was promised to me for their mistake. Seems to be forgotten. I have not.

It was a great experience. Jolinda and Laurie were amazing. Laurie took some time with us, and made us very comfortable. Very informative and helped us find exactly what we we looking for. Honestly, we were not there to buy, but there to get some information and pricing just like everybody else. Wound up buying an adjustable frame and new mattress. They treated us like we were really good friends of family. Its cliche to say like family. But really good friends and to be treated like that, was refreshing.

We had been searching for a new mattress. Our salesperson JPOC answered all our questions. The service was outstanding.

Just moved and needed 3 new beds. Came to this location and our seller was Mason. We left very, very happy!! He didn’t pressure us into prices or products we didn’t like or want, he didn’t lurk over us about buying. The best about it...he got us the BEST deals possible. It was painless and quicker than you’d imagine.

FAIR PRICES and KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF - Great experience! We are repeat customers of Mattress Warehouse, and because of our positive experiences we decided to revisit them recently to purchase our next mattress. We loved our last mattress so much that we wanted to purchase it again, but in a king size this time. Unfortunately, Aireloom has renamed their individual mattresses and so we weren’t sure how to select the same one. Jolenda, our sales rep, was fantastic! She immediately reached out to her rep, and he confirmed that they indeed didn’t have that one anymore; however, he remembered the one we were talking about, and strongly recommended the “Capri” - he said it would be the closest fit. Unfortunately, Jolenda’s store did not have this one to test out, and so after searching she found that the Short Pump store had it in stock. We drove over to that store and met with Conrad. He was very friendly and helpful – even knowing that we were only there to test out the mattress. We felt it would only be right to give Jolenda the business. After testing the mattress out (Jolenda’s rep was spot on), we made our way back to our Mechanicsville location to discuss pricing. To make our visit more efficient, Jolenda had already worked up the pricing and gave us a very fair deal. There were no hard sales, and Jolenda made the entire experience a breeze. As luck would have it, our mattress was in stock and we had it delivered to our home in 2 days within the timeframe given. The delivery guys worked quick, they were polite and kept our home clean. I’m still not sure how, but 1 guy had the entire mattress on his back from the truck to the front door. If he ever needs a neurosurgeon for his back, I’ve got just the guy! LOL In all seriousness, if you’re looking to purchase a mattress, be sure to stop by the Mattress Warehouse in Mechanicsville and ask for Jolenda. She will take good care of you.

Jolinda was a fantastic representative when my wife and I purchased our first temperpedic with our adjustable base! She gave us many options to look at and gave us honest opinions on each one we laid on. I was not set on a temperpedic due to the price but she didn’t pressure us on purchasing the most expensive which made me a lot more comfortable with trusting her.
