Curbside pickup is non-existent at Matthews Auto Zone. This location makes curbside pickup customers come inside to sign for their items. They have their own weird policy. They dont ask for email receipts, ID or anything-like it tells you on the website. They will come outside to your car to tell you their instructions, but not to bring out your items that youve paid for. Will not be returning again.

A great place to get parts for whatever you are driving. Prices are very fair and the staff is very friendly. They will test you battery for free and will even let you borrow tools. Everyone there is very friendly and eager to help and very knowledgeable. I enjoy browsing around the store to see what different accessories they have as well!!

Needed rotors for my truck. They only had one. They were so great with assisting me with finding a second one. Paid for both at one store.

I looked online, and saw that they had stock on the part I was looking for. When I arrived, I found that they didnt have the part in stock. The person I spoke with, said that they hadnt done inventory in over 2 years, and were planning to get it done soon.I gave them three stars because he gave me a discount on the windshield wipers I purchased, while I was there, to make up for the part they didnt have.

Basically if you cant find it then it must be out according to their staff. No one actually cares to check even though the site says theres four in stock.

This place is awesome. They have helped me twice by putting in a headlight and replacing a break light. Very professional and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Helpful staff, fast friendly service and a convenient location make AutoZone one of my favorite places to purchase auto parts as well as automobile cleaning and maintenance products. They have a variety of motor oil and other vehicle required fluids. They have an extensive stock of spark plugs, and other related tune up products. AutoZone also has special tools they will send to you for free. I havent personally utilized this service as I have an extensive tool set, but its nice to know that this service is available should the need arises. They will also read any check engine codes and turn it off and offer you advice on how to remedy it.

The usual good service from AutoZone, I havent been there many times, but I havent had yet to wait to be serviced over there. They carried the power steering pump that I needed for my car, also was able to rent tools to help me do my job.

Knowledgeable folks that can get the right part in your hands. The rewards program has gone downhill recently, but im sure it began to cost them some profits. Typically there is at least one person working that seems to have been a former mechanic at most locations. The ladies and gentlemen here will take the time to make certain that you find what you need to fix what you broke.

Extremely helpful staff. I came in right before close and bought some new wiper blades. A representative saw me still attempting to install them after close and came out to help me without me asking. It took some trouble shooting and they were determined to get me running. I’ll be sure to go to THIS Autozone for all me car needs.

Very disappointed I Ordered a part early in advance to come to the store later that day and find that the part I ordered wasn’t there at the expected time.I didn’t receive a phone call on my parts status waited for over 3 hours for it. Never ordering anything from this store again.

My car was acting funky, was told at OReilly it was the battery...which I purchased from Autozone..only went to OReilly first because it was by my job. Turned out the battery was still covered by warranty. Which was quickly replaced, very nice, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Erick D, the store mgr and Rob D both went above and beyond and helped me get back on the road safely and made sure my car was acting right before I left. They definitely didnt have to do all that they did to help me out, but I will be forever grateful for their kindness and awesome customer service and knowledge. Thanks a million Erick & Rob!

And they usually have most parts from cheap end all the way up to top of the line Primo parts in stock.And theres pretty much an Autozone every few miles, or around almost every corner.Lol, their like the Motel 6 of auto parts!

The staff at Auto Zone in Matthews is awesome, very professional and friendly. I needed help finding and installing a rather obscure part for my Rogue and the gentleman I spoke/worked with checked out the issue and fixed it in a matter of minutes!!

Came here today because i had a tail light and a headlight that had gone out. Walked in and immediately felt welcome. Staff was friendly and knowldegable, I spoke to Tom and he was incredibly helpful, both when walking me through which bulb to get and when helping me to install the taillight and explaining the process by which i would install the headlight. Overall, i will definetly recommend this place to all of friends!!!!

First off, if you have any possible choice at all, choose OReillys or Advance or NAPA or a damn hardware store over AZ. Their entire culture, from corporate down, is shady. Theyre a retail chain with sketchy methodology that happens to sell parts, but they have no business being affiliated in any way with the automotive field. That said, the particular humans staffing this store attempted to be helpful and were respectful and attentive. I had to figure out the issue I had with a hard to find part myself, of course, but I did so and was on my way without being angered as much as I normally am when I am forced to enter an Autozone store.

Tried to return an order I made online and store manager Danni Bowling refused to give me the price I paid online, even though I had a receipt showing what I paid for it. Tried to say it was taxes or shipping may be the difference. Was very rude and has no customer service skills, it was not worth the argument with someones stupidity, I contacted the regional office. I have never had a problem at any other Auto Zone, just this location, this is the second time.

I walked in to Auto Zone today to hear a customer talking openly with a staff member about illegal immigrants in a racist manner. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful as I myself am an immigrant. That conversation should have never been entertained by the employee. Incredibly rude I will never go back. Pepboys is nicer anyways.

Went to Autozone today to get new bulb for a burned out headlight on my car. Couldnt get the panel off in the wheel well to get to the light so I asked Autozone employee Samuel if I could borrow a flathead. He insisted letting him replace the light. After getting in their, be noticed the headlight was missing a screw to hold the light in the housing, which caused the wiring to be stripped, causing the light to burn out frequently, which is what has been happening. Also created a drain on the battery, which has died on me twice. After 30 mins of getting in there, taping up the exposed wires, replacing the bulb, and getting me on my way, I returned with a lunch for Samuel and his fellow employees gave him cheers and applause after I dropped it off saying how awesome he is. I highly recommend Autozone in Matthews, NC. They have provided this kind of service to me consistently through the years! Thanks, Samuel!
