We shopped for furniture all day with R & F as our last planned stop. The other stores had supply issues, delivery issues and no protection plans. R & F had our choices in stock, scheduled a delivery on the spot and sold us a comprehensive warranty. Sales rep Ryan was great, too.

We had a wonderful salesperson who gave us lots of information about the pieces of furniture we were interested in. If the sales person did not know she took the time to look it up and delivered helpful resources to consider. We had time to browse. Ended up buying a bed that was just right. I had not expected to purchase as I was just looking to compare. This was our third store and was given many different options. No sales pitch.

Visited the store in Big Flats/Horseheads, NY. The gentleman who helped us was EXCEPTIONAL. Very attentive to our needs. Not pushy. Listened to us and took his time with us. the side chair we purchased is perfect for us as well as the new carpet. Cant wait to show them both off to family and friends.

We went to R&F with the intention to just browse, since we visited a competitor and found what we thought we wanted.Glad we went, very pleased with the service and selection. We ultimately found a better quality living room set that was cheaper than the competitor and the five year warranty was cheaper also. And the set was in-stock, no six week to six month delivery.

My guy Phil was awesome. Could not possibly speak higher of this man. Charming, debonair, wise, funny and had all the answers to our questions. The selection at this store was incredible. Every time we picked a piece of furniture we turned a corner and found a new piece we liked more. We were still finding new pieces even after our 3rd lap. All in all a 5 out of 5 would shop again.

Terrible experience. We have used Raymour and flanigan for many, many years and our latest was a very back experience. My husband was hospitalized at the time and they made it very difficult for him to order what we wanted. They were very worried about fraud and had to ask him 3 questions about things from 30 years ago. Then they denied him because he forgot something from back then.He felt terrible. He is a 100 percent disabled veteran who has never been been denied on any purchases. I even paid 1/2 down on the order and was financing a small amount. Raymour, I’m sorry but my business went elsewhere!!!!

Worst service Ive ever received delivered the wrong bed to begin with not only 2 weeks later the bed I received BROKE (the wood sliced from the metal part that was holding it up) . Talked to Grant Freeman the store manager about how they sent me a 3,300 dollar bed when I only purchased a 1,500 dollar bed said he cant do anything about that and that Im pretty much stuck now with a broken bed and only offers something from their show room. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE YOU WILL GET SCREWED OVER !!!!

***UPDATE: the bed and mattress finally arrived 3 months later, most likely due to COVID. We got everything home and set up and almost immediately noticed sagging in the mattress. After dealing with customer care, who dont have a CLUE, someone from the service center came to inspect the mattress. Turns out we were never given a box spring! We were told the mattress was a hybrid mattress with a built in box spring and we didnt need a separate box spring. So, i refused to pay for a box spring. The store Mgr did compensate me with a gift card, but I still had to pay $26. Ok, no problem, whatever. Today, my husband went to pick up the box spring and the felt bottom was completely torn across inside the plastic. Easy fix? Mostly likely, just staple it back to the frame. BUT, WHY would you sell a product like this?? No, I did not report it to the store manager YET. My son has been sleeping on a screwed up mattress for weeks now. Throughout this whole ordeal, never once did anyone show one bit of remorse, no sincere apologies, nothing! Never even spoke to the salesman. We will NEVER do business with R&F again. We will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and making a corporate complaint.‐-‐------------‐------------------------------------------------------------We were working with a salesman the previous weekend and were unsure of which bed we wanted to purchase for our teenage son. The salesman gave us his card when we left. We returned the following weekend wanting to look at a different bed. Upon entering the store a female salesperson greeted us and asked if we needed any help. I noticed right away she seemed very different. We told her we were just looking, which we were. We wanted to see if they had a particular bed in stock so we could get a better idea of the look and how well it was made. As we were looking for the bed, we ran into our salesman. He. Immediately asked if anyone was helping us or if anyone greeted us when we entered the store. We said no one was helping us but the lady did greet us. Seemed it was an issue because we didnt tell her we were looking for him. He was looking up the beds we were interested in and this lady walks up on us and just stares at us. Our salesman asked if he could help her and he said we were his guests and he was sorry. Apparently sorry because she greeted us at the door and didnt tell her that we were looking for the particular salesman, that we were just looking and we screwed her out of a sale! We found this experience extremely awkward and unprofessional. We werent certain if we were even going to make a purchase. Who knew that you couldnt just walk in and look before deciding to purchase.

Do you like paying thousands of dollars for furniture guaranteed to break within 2 years? Do you enjoy high pressure sales tactics and being bombarded by workers looking to score a quick sale, while talking serious smack about the other sales workers? How about having constant delivery issues, scheduling issues or even something as simple as the installation team shutting the door behind them when they come in your house, or expecting them to track mud through your whole house, up your stairs and into your kids room? If that all sounds amazing then I highly recommend heading on down to see what you can see!!!

I was very satisfied with my recent purchase at Raymour & Flanigan. Kimberly Yaw was extremely helpful. She listened to what I was looking for and guided me to multiple choices. She was very knowledgeable about the features of each piece of furniture. I was also very happy that I did not have to wait 4-5 months for my choices to be available as I found to be true in other furniture stores.

This location has a large variety of furniture. We were able to try many different styles of sectional couches and various comfort levels. This helped us learn what exactly we wanted out of our furniture. We had assistance from Phil who was very pleasant and not pushy whatsoever. We were free to roam the floor and ask questions when we were ready. Thank you Phil for making our visit enjoyable. Cant wait for the furniture to arrive!

Went in to look and see if they had a slipcover sofa in stock that I could look at. I had been looking at a mini sectional with chaise in slipcover style on Wayfair for the last 2 months. Had fabric samples sent to me and was just going to decide on fabric for my sectional. Wandered around the store and found a completely different style than I had decided on. Fell in love and ordered it right away. Its a statement piece. Completely different from what everyone else has. My style has always been transitional and this is glam.But will totally work with the rest of my style. I purchased from the Cindy Crawford Home Collection. The Carrington in Linen. With the chair and half. Salesman was great and worked the delivery out with me because half my purchase was in stock and half was not. Only charged 1 delivery charge for 2 trips. Excited to get my new living room seating!!

Associates were very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. The first day we went we were just looking to get some ideas and they allowed us to look without hovering. They would check on us every so often to be sure we didnt need anything. The manager approached us towards the end of our visit to ensure we understood the sale that was being offered and to answer any questions we had.After doing some research, we went back the second day and had the same experience. The sales associate was helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. She didnt push sales onto us to make more, she provided her own experience in feedback, and even demonstrated some adjustable bases for us to try to ensure it was what we wanted. The manager remembered us from the day before and assisted us in price matching so we could get the best possible deal being offered at the time.Definitely will go back in the future!

Raymour & Flanigan definitely has quality furniture! Theres no doubt about that. Im very pleased with the Living Room furniture I purchased and cant wait until it arrives. With that being said, the organization does need to improve the overall customer experience from arrival to departure. The first time I was there I was not greeted by anyone (until I asked to speak to the manager) and watched the people that came in directly after me be greeted. And I assure you that its not because no one saw me. A male salesman saw me and turned right back around. I still have no idea why he did that, but the behavior was unacceptable. Yesterday when I went to make a down payment on the furniture I chose, I waited quite some time because there was only one person working in the check-out area when there were two when we initially walked back to check-out. The salesman that was with me did a few things that I considered very rude (too much to explain here). He was not the individual I worked with to determine what furniture Id purchased and Im glad because I would not have wanted him to get a penny of the commission.

My Husband and I went there to look at a mattress that we saw on TV we were considering purchasing, but instead the friendly service by the sales person that took care of us, Philip . We ended up buying our bed there along with a frame and a bundle with pillows, and sheets. There was no pressure he waited patiently while we were deciding what we wanted if we bought one. The delivery was one of our deciding factors in our decision.We will gladly go there again to buy any furniture that we want to buy.

4 months ago I left a review that was positive 4 stars, I looked forward to purchasing additional items for my home from Raymour as I have in the past. Today I am changing my review to 2 stars. I ordered a table with 4 stools. On delivery one way damaged and sent back with the delivery driver. I had paid for this set in full. Four 4 months later I am still without my 4th stool. I have had to do a lot of follow up and still nothing. I will be sending and email to corporate as well to let them know of my experience and that I plan to share the poor customer service provided. My most recent call today the manager placed me on hold to say he would take care of it only to have a sales representative pick back up only to tell me she would work on it an call me back. Currently I am no further than I was when I started. 4 months ago..

We went into the store on Saturday. Picked out furniture, table and desk. Worked with a sales rep who we thought had all of our information. I didnt hear anything that week from the rep as follow up. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. How do you get lost in a system Dont hear from them for 5 months (assuming the bill is getting paid like it was supposed to) then wake up to a bill saying I still owe them the full amount its been almost 6 months are you kidding me. Then the best you can do is tell me you wont charge me the interest for those 5 almost 6 months. Its a gaint joke Im frustrated of being passed around and never getting a call back. I will never shop with them again.

We have done business with Raymour a few times in the past and all went as planned. However this experience was quite different. We went in looking to replace a mattress. We look and decided on the mattress. The salesman showed us some sheets and a mattress cover, of which we had no interest in. When we got in the car we discovered an additional 299 for the mattress cover. We called and spoke to the salesman to request the removal of this item. He went on to say the 45 day warranty would not be valid without it. In the end he agreed to remove it. This gave us an uneasy feeling from the start.The delivery was scheduled for the next Monday. My wife took the day off from work. We got up early and removed all the old box springs and mattress as well as any items around the bed. Several hours later we received a call stating the mattress didn’t make it on the truck and would have to be delivered the next day. At that time we just called and canceled our order. We also called the local store to confirm our order would be canceled. It is now over 10 days and we have yet to receive a penny of the $3,800plus that was charged to my debit card. I guess my next step will be to file a complaint with NYS attorney generals office.

My fiancé and I had ordered a bedroom set from here. When they came to deliver it, which we had it delivered at the latest possible time due to having carpet put down first, so three weeks after we were told it was ready. When the set was delivered our mirror brackets were not in so we didn’t get our mirror and they had sent the wrong feet for our bed set. So we had to wait to move in because we didn’t have a bed frame to set our bed on. So we called the store manager and she assured us they would have everything by that weekend and would get it to us. Well when they came to deliver they had the right feet for the bed frame but the absolute wrong mirror, it wasn’t even close. So I called the store again and had to set up for a third delivery. For my Inconvenience she said she would send us a gift card which great we appreciated that. Well it has been about 3 weeks since then and no gift card. This was the worse experience we have had and it makes the store look bad when they say they understand and want to send you a gift card as a way to say sorry and don’t ever send the card.

I was ready to purchase a sofa but there were questions unanswered and I felt conflicted until I rang the Syracuse NY store and spoke with Dan Lewis. He answered all of my questions in a way that was honest, thoughtful, and helpful. He avoided ever coming off as persuasive or manipulative like many sales associates. The goal of any business should be happy customers. In the future I will be happy to give Mr. Lewis a call when I need home furnishings again.

After having a horrible experience with Ashley Furniture I canceled the order that I had been waiting on since March. I then called and spoke with Cassie at the Horseheads, NY store who assured me that if I came in not only would I find everything I needed, but that she would direct a salesman, Justin, to help me.Justin was easy to speak with and very professional. In about an hour we worked together and put a plan in place that helped me buy 3 bedrooms, a kitchen set, a dining room set, and 2 couches. And, he was able to do it stress-free. The furniture is expected to be delivered on June 17th, what a great experience!The major difference that I found between Ashley and Raymore & Flanagan is that one company looked for every excuse why my furniture couldn’t be delivered, and the other company, R&F, looked to put together a plan whereby I could receive enough furniture to fill an entire house.I will always look towards R&F in the future, knowing that you hire employees like Cassie and Justin who will listen to the customers and work with those customers to find a solution, and not an excuse!My hat goes off to that team for helping me put together a first-rate plan. Bought bedroom and living room furniture and told the sales rep we wanted the platinum plan for warranty on everything. went to look at tables yesterday and while talking with the sales person found out that the protection we wanted was never added. We had the BEST experience here! Patty was such an awesome help! We mixed and matched and she even let us make up our living room by putting different things together to make sure they matched! I bought a new electric recliner chair and matching couch in the fall of 2018. I have had nothing but problems with the chair each year since. The company technician has been out to fix the chair 3 times and on the third time when he came a whole new motor was replaced. At this time I asked if this was a problem with this chair and was told that in fact it is. Confident the issue was fixed while at the same time grateful for purchasing the extended warranty, I was satisfied that the issue was resolved. Well, its been less than 6 weeks since then and my chair is broken yet again. In addition to the issue of the chair seeming to be of very poor quality, the customer service has been very poor. Its incredibly difficult to get in contact with the number on the pamphlet you receive with the extended warranty and then you have to wait for a return contact from them...then you wait for the service department to get back to you and then once you think the issue is resolved...well low and behold the problem is back again. My advice...dont buy anything that has a motor in it and if you do BUY the extended warranty and then keep your fingers crossed and say your prayers! Hopefully you wont have any issues. BUT, if you have alternative furniture store options near you. Use them.

At first when we went to this store it was a very easy and friendly experience. We wanted to get a new mattress before we went off to our honeymoon. We were told the mattress we wanted was not in shock so it would take at least a couple of weeks. Well we were leaving for our honeymoon by then so we asked them if they would have it the day we came back and they said of course. So we scheduled the date. Just two days later we get a call saying it was actually in stock and asked us if we wanted it delivered the day before we were leaving which we could not do due to too many things going on that day. So we kept our scheduled date. When we got back we took the day off of work so we could retrieve our bed. We received ten text messages stating that our bed was on its way. We were very excited cleaned and everything and took the old bed apart. Their time line comes and no bed. So I called asking where our bed was and they said it didnt come in yet and they were out of stock. I said how is that possible if it was in stock before we left? So basically because we had a later delivery date they gave our bed away. They never contacted us about this. No communication except for the ten text messages saying it was on its way. I am not happy. We are currently sleeping in our guest bedroom on a full size bed that my husband doesnt even fit in because we had to throw our old one away it was no longer usable. We talked to the manager three days ago and still no word about if our bed is even coming. We are still waiting on our bed currently and some kind of communication on when its coming. I seriously thinking about taking my business somewhere in the next couple of days if they cant tell us when our bed is coming in. So disappointed.

Raymour and Flanigan had a lot of selections - more than the other stores wed visited. And Patty was so helpful, pointing us in the right direction for what we were looking for and allowing us time to browse, giving us helpful suggestions, and explaining some of our options. Were very happy with our selection, and will definitely return!

Salesman by the name of Jeff was great. Very helpful. knowledgeable but in no way over bearing or pushy. He allowed us to look at our pace but was certainly available for assistance as needed and when needed. He was very thorough from start to finish, couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Everything was great until we checked out. We purchased living room furniture, and the salesman was very pleasant and helpful. When we attempted to use our debit card to pay for our purchases the cashier asked me to remove the card because the bank would only authorize $1,000. Assuming the transaction had been cancelled, I wrote a check for the entire purchase amount. The following day I saw that Raymour & Flanigan had debited my bank account for the $1,000. I own a business, and understand that mistakes happen; so I called the store and explained the situation. I was told they had no record of the transaction and I should contact my bank, which I did. Long story short, my bank faxed them a letter along with proof of the charge. When I contacted the store again, I was told by the same person I had spoken with before that the transaction had never happened. My bank contacted them once again and was told the same thing, even though they had proof. The store representative did not offer any regret over the situation or concern for the fact that an extra $1,000 had been removed from my bank account (yes, my check had also cleared by then). There was no apology or suggestion that they would have their accounting department look into the situation either. They simply considered the matter closed. I had to go to my bank and dispute the charge. Of course when I produced my sales receipt, it was obvious that I had been overcharged, and my $1,000 was credited back to my account. Mistakes do happen, but the total lack of concern over the situation and unwillingness to even try to correct it was very frustrating.Since then we had our furniture delivered by two very helpful young men, and that was a positive experience. Also, I received a phone call from one of the showroom managers who sincerely apologized for the situation and assured me that they would use this as a training experience for their staff so something like this would not happen again.I appreciate the fact that they did their best to make it right; and we are very happy with our new furniture.

I really like the furniture. The salesman was wonderful, but other than that the customer service stunk. The table was delivered damaged and at bar height when wed ordered it at dining height with dining height chairs - no conversion kit left behind. We called to ask for instructions and informed them that said kit wasnt left behind. They were going to have a team come by and convert it for us. Said team came. Fixed the damage with a marker and couldnt do anything to convert the table because said kit wasnt left behind. Said team shouldve known that. Weve attempted to call the store to arrange repair and replacement since we paid for the protection plan since and received no response.

It was a perfect visit. Our sales rep, Lou, was terrific. Very informative, and didnt push or rush us. We love R & F for furniture- always - find excellent quality and good service. My husbands recliner needed replacing and we knew wed find what we wanted there. Cant wait for our new chairs (I got one, too), to arrive.

The prices are always on the high end but the furniture feels much better in quality compared to other local stores. They have a wide selection when you include online, and a good warranty program (on paper). The staff are well-trained and friendly while not being pushy or hovering over you the entire time. If you can get what you need on sale its a good place to go.
