I went to Busy Bee to get my engagement ring sized and they were amazing! I was worried about having to ship my ring away to get fixed but they were able to do it at their location and allowed us to watch the whole time! They were super nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend!! Doreen helped us and she was super sweet!!

If I could give this jewelry store negative stars, I certainly would. I brought a ring in for repair and they broke one of my diamonds in the process. Upon picking up they gave me back my ring with broken diamonds and tried to say that I brought it in like that meanwhile it was documented that only two stones were missing. The staff is snotty, shifty eyed, and untrustworthy. I wouldn’t doubt that they replaced my diamonds with cubic zirconias. Although my REAL, trusted jeweler is far from me (OKJ Jewelry in Little Neck), I will be taking my ring there for evaluation to make sure these shifty eyed sneaks didn’t replace my diamond with cubic zirconias. Staff is absolutely disgusting, unprofessional, NASTY. Do NOT go here. I will certainly spread the word to every single person I know to not go here EVER!!! Go to a TRUSTED jeweler-these people are CROOKS!!!!!

Never been into a Jewelry store my whole life. Needed something very last minute, and with absolutely no prior knowledge of jewelry, I was treated with great care and respect in selecting an appropriate promise ring that did not break my bank. The store is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are very courteous and polite. Highly recommend this location if youre looking for a good jewelry store with a wide array of items and good staff.

I walked in with 3 rings and asked how much for a cleaning. He said we can steam them for free or do a polish for $40. I said I don’t want anything for free let’s do the polish. I came back later to pick them up and they said it’s $120. I explained how he did not say it was $40 per ring, but it was $40 for all 3.They should work on their communication with their customers. Not coming back.

Love busy bee me and my family and friends been deAling with them all for over 25 years IWill go nowhere else.I moved upstate and lost contact with them I needed something and found them on messenger. I seen something on Facebook I wanted as a gift it was fake jewelry I wanted made real gold. I found there number and they made it for me and had it done for me and 2 day shipped it to me ! After all these years they still been the same ppl to me and the same work ! I will never go anywhere else ! I was looking for a new jeweler since I moved to Massapequa park and was looking around for somebody I can trust. I see to go to forest hills high school and have a high school ring from there that is very sentimental to me. I walked into busy bee and got greeted right away by Gary and his Brother Ziggy. Both Gary and Ziggy explained to me why the center stone of my High school ring kept falling out of my ring. They explained the whole process and showed me how it will be done. Going to Busy Bee Jewelry now Is like going to my second home. I trust them completely with all of my jewelry/ watches . They give me honorable numbers and always work with my budget. Needless to say Busy Bee Jewelry is definitely the place you should be going to!

My fiancée purchase my engagement ring from Busy Bee Jewelry after a few months of us searching. We chose that store because of their knowledge and they helped us understand the difference in diamond qualities. In addition what I wanted had to be custom made. I liked the top of one ring design but the sides of another. I was nervous about a custom order but they assured me it would be identical and would show me a wax mold before going further. Needless to say it was perfect. I only saw the mold and when he gave me the ring I was speechless. Absolutely beautiful ring. We recommend this store very highly. Excellent service and prices.

Fantastic jewelry store. Honest, reputable and professional with a fantastic selection. Given their size, they can find almost anything you need if you ask ahead of time. I was looking to make a custom engagement ring, and they sourced the exact diamond I was looking for based on my specs. Best part was the price was even lower than what I was quoted in the diamond district. Would not hesitate to do business with them again.

My experience with Busy Bee Jewelry was a pleasant one. Im not the type to spend too much time in one place, even for an expensive purchase. But I was in the Massapequa area and passed by this store on my way home for my moms birthday. I decided to stop in to buy my mom a gift. I started looking around at there pendant collection (which was pretty big) and found a really nice diamond heart pendant. The sales lady was very kind, and explained that I needed to get a sturdy chain and that the weight of the chain didnt matter as much as the style. I picked out a link chain, which the lady said is very strong. Long story short, my mom loved her gift. Thank you Busy Bee!@

Over the past 5 years, I have made numerous trips to Busy Bee for a variety of reasons. After price shopping for a specific watch for a family member, Busy Bee came in with the best offer. I later sold a diamond to Busy Bee (once again after price shopping) and obtained the greatest value there! I have worked with Ziggy recently as he designed a new setting for my diamond engagement ring. The ring is absolutely stunning and I receive compliments wherever I go. The other sales individuals including Rachel and Gary are extremely helpful, friendly, and fair. They do a terrific job on repairs as well. This is an all around gem of a jewelry store!!

We recently purchased a Diamond bracelet from Busy Bee, and had the most pleasant experience. Everyone was so friendly and most importantly they were very patient, and thats great because Im a very picky shopper! Moreover, I got a very good deal on the bracelet. I shopped around before I found this place, and Im so grateful that I did. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. I would also come back here for all my jewelry needs because their selection is huge, and apparently they even do repairs.

My best experience ever dealing with a jewelry store. The owner was very knowledgeable and shopping for my wife for Valentines Day he gave me options. I have shopped with them on numerous occasions over the last 10 years.If youre buying a high ticket item its very important to buy from someone you can trust and has been at the same location for a long time and thats why I would always come back too busy bee. I loved the quality of service they provided me.

I came in today to get a watch battery replacement. They only charged me 10 dollars. As I waited, I looked around and saw a rope chain that I liked. I was helped right away and was given an unbeatable price. The customer service is excellent and the staff is always willing to help with whatever you need. I highly recommend stopping by, they have a beautiful selection and it is very hard to not find something you like.

Beautiful, professional establishment, and two full grades above the mom-and-pop booth jewelry stores you commonly come across in this area. You notice this as soon as you step foot through the door--beautifully furnished throughout--their selection of jewelry is absolutely stunning with something to offer in every price range. Ive come here time and time again for all my jewelry needs. Theyre the ones to beat in terms of selection and pricing. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, Gary and Ziggy have won my trust time and time again, so much so that I had them custom make a pair of earrings from an image and they happily worked with me start to finish, customizing and tweaking it to fit my needs. The result was completely breathtaking! I was SO happy with the final product! Looked better than the image and totally exceeded my expectations!! Will continue to do business with these guys for their honesty, knowledge of the industry, and not to mention level of skill!!

Do not deal with this company especially Gary and Ziggy. They are not knowledgable about the products they sell and lie. I ordered a Rolex with written down description, verbally confirmed description and deadline for the holidays. After the deadline passes by a day with no call. I call and the watch is ready. When picking it up the bezel looks different than the pictures I produced that go with the ordered description; specifically white gold fluted Rolex bezel (Rolex only makes fluted bezels in gold). Ziggy states the watch is an older model fluted bezel that hasn’t been polished. I still don’t agree but proceed with the purchase. I then had two reputable jewelers and research confirm that the bezel is “Not” gold and is “Not” even fluted but stainless steel and called “engine turned” that Rolex stopped producing around 2003. I called the next day (30-40 min commute to store for me) and Gary tells me same line of lies as Ziggy and says to speak to him. I’m then told by josh that he has to call me back. I wait over 2 hours with no call back, I called again. Ziggy states same lies again. Important fact: the bezel on the watch was NOT ever made in gold so despite the jeweler confirmation it couldn’t be gold and he has no clue what an engine turned bezel is. After getting nowhere, stating he is real busy after he has $2,950 of my cash already I have to make demands. He is calling guy he got the watch from to see and will call me the following day by 1pm. At 2:40pm with no call, I travel to the store. Ziggy states “his guy “ hasn’t gotten back to him and calls in front of me speaking in a foreign language. Still has no answer and after more back and forth with no concrete remedies or solutions being Christmas is in two days I get my money back, leave and exactly what I didn’t want to happen, happened. No watch two days before Christmas. This store, owners and employees all lie about their products, are not knowledgeable about them and provide possible the worst customer service in the retail industry I have ever experienced. Stay clear of Busy Bee Jewelry in Massapequa Park, NY. FYI: they do business online (EBay etc) as Gary’s fine jewelry.************************************************Miraculously approximately 20 minutes after writing this review I received my first ever call from Ziggy stating I have the correct bezel for the watch, that is how we left off. I assure anyone reading this that we did not leave off on a good note. I received my money, did not get any explanations or a sorry and left.  Anyway, I say ok so now the price is different because of all of this and he says no same price.  Being without a gift for the holiday I drove over 30 minutes again and purchased the watch. I received no explanation from them, what happened when they spoke to their supplier, who lied or was misinformed about the watch/bezel, no sorry for never returning my call and of course no compensation for 4 store visits, time to travel to the store and all of the misinformation/lying on their end.  My review outcome/conclusion has not changed.

I was recommended to come here from my friends in Queens. I took a 45 minute road trip out to Busy Bee from my neighborhood and I was really happy I did. Ive stopped by Busy Bee by chance to get my watch battery replaced which took no more than 5 minutes. After the awesome experience (besides extremely quick, the service was totally outstanding) I’ve decided to go back for a gift for my husband in light of our anniversary. I was clueless as to what I was going to get but the nice gentleman at Busy Bee gave me a perfect suggestion - a beautiful Oris watch which my husband absolutely LOVES. I was also informed that Busy Bee is an authorized dealer for the watch so I got an amazing warranty too! I’m definitely set with you on any things shiny!!! :)

I was connected with Ziggy when I called in to get information on a limited edition Oris watch. He got back to me promptly with their price and estimate as to when I could get it.I don’t live locally anymore so they shipped the watch to me, Oris had sent the wrong bracelet but Ziggy helped me get the correct one as well as two additional links, and the proprietary tri-wing driver to change my watch band.All in all, I got a great price and some really good customer service from Ziggy at Busy Bee and won’t hesitate to look to them for future purchases.

Thieves. Had my jewelry stolen by a family member. I didnt press charges and they told me where they sold it. Went to Busy Bee and initially they denied that they had it. When we pushed and told them we would call the police, they came out with it. They paid him $20.00 for a $1,200 diamond necklace and made me pay $700 to get it back. It was all documented.I was reimbursed by the family member and they went into treatment. Pure scum here. Avoid at all costs!!

In my diamond Search I went to New York City for a “great deal” what I found was a bunch of Jewlers looking to charge full retail. I was reccomended to Gary and Ziggy and was hesitant at first. From the start, I felt a warm welcome from Doreen the sales agent. They showed me a 2 carat I color stone with GIA triple excellent ratings- Gary and Ziggy took their time and explained the traits of the stone through and through. It was a stunning diamond, and the price was right. He customized it on to a halo setting. My now fiancé was complete blown away. Her coworkers say it’s by far nicest ring they have ever seen and need sunglasses to look at it!This week, she wanted a external appraisal and we went to Jewlery Judge (Barry is a true gemologist professional not a buyer/seller)And the ring appraised for 3.5k over my paid price - amazing! I highly reccomend visiting Gary and Ziggy for a no nonsense transaction- he has my 1000% confidence and trust. Look no further for high end quality diamonds and settings.

This storess service is abhorrent! I have never written a bad review in my life but my experience with this retailer deserves to be shared.I have a Tissot watch that required a new band and battery so I brought the watch to Busy Bee because this store is a CERTIFIED TISSOT RETAILER. I brought the watch in on a Saturday and they indicated that they would order the band and call me when it was ready. I called the following Monday, over a week later, to check on the watch and it appeared they had forgotten about it. To make a very long sorry short, after visiting the store four (4) times and over six (6) phone calls later I finally got my watch back. I took me nearly ONE MONTH to get my watch back.To make a bad situation worse, I had to call them to learn that my watch was ready! Despite the fact that this store had my contact information, they never contacted me a single time to update me on the status of the watch. I strongly feel that if I never followed up with Busy Bee I would have never gotten my watch back.I found their service to be very unprofessional and untrustworthy. I will be contacting Tissot to complain about this store.

This place is horrible, the service is disgusting at best. I gave them a gold chain that i wanted to be melted down and turned into a little nugget piece. I was told it would take a week and was charged 50 dollars. I go in every day after the week mark and im told come back tomorrow after 5 every day i go in.

Disgusting and unprofessional people i gave them a 14k gold chain to melt down and turn it into a nugget. Thet told me it would take a week and still to this day almost 2 weeks later i have not received it and every time im told to come back the next day. These people have an excuse for everything and dont know how to treat people right.

DO NOT GO TO THIS JEWELRY STORE! If you need to return an item they only do it for store credit, and you can not get your cash back however that does not say it on your receipt, only theres!
