Rock Bottom is a truly amazing place! The other staff here is so wonderful and they have created such an open, safe, welcoming place to work. I love working here and think that is just an amazing place to work. I love all of our customers and love helping them find whatever they need and making sure they get the proper gear for whatever adventure they need it for!

Awesome staff and great deals. The main problem with the store is the management . Staff members at the store are payed $8.25-$9.25 an hour with the floor manager only making $14 an hour. The fact that the company is not willing to pay a living wage to employees is astounding when the main store little river trading is clearly doing well. There is a huge problem with communication and discrimination in the workplace. When my availability did not seem to fit their schedule they decided it would be best if we parted ways. Where as in previous weeks when I had the time I worked 40+ hours. Working here has been a roller coaster I definitely would not suggest it to anyone that is looking for a decent well-paying job. The only benefit to working here is the clothing discount for employees is pretty much nonexistent because everything in the store is already marked off down. I personally dont believe in supporting businesses that do not support their employees but to each their own.

As a recently hired employee I can say this is not only a great store for the customers, but also a great place to work. Its always fun to show off the high quality products, and the customers always appreciate the products as well as the service and attention we provide.

Although there are just two stores, I feel like I always see something about your company whether its on Social Media, By Mail, or simply driving down the road. I was very pleased with the help at this store. Not only was a greeted right off the bat but the clerks were knowledgeable about the products but they were very nice. I will definitely return to this store as my number 1 place to go for all my gear. In the past I have dealt with a lot of cocky salesmen that act like the are way superior to me in every outdoor recreation I shopping for. For instance, rock climbing, back country camping, and kayaking. These clerks were just the opposite. Like I said I will always come here for gear first from now on.

Today I visited this store with complete intentions of buying a pair of Chacos. Upon entering the store I noticed there were three young girls working All were sitting on the counter at the register and staring at their phones, Im not sure if anyone looked up when my husband and I entered, but I do know for a fact that there was not a greeting extended at all. I went to the back of the store and was very obviously trying to find sizes and prices and discussing with my husband that perhaps I would also get a pair of OluKai if I could find what I wanted. One of the girls finally came to the back of the store but simply passed by me and went into the stockroom without saying a word to me. I continued to look for a few minutes and decided if I wanted anyone to assist me, or for that matter, even SPEAK to me I would have to ask..... No thanks, I will go spend my money somewhere else. Its not my job to provide customer service or common curtesy for myself and then pay you. Businesses owners, please dont hire a bunch of kids and leave them tending the shop on their own without an adult to ensure your customers are taken care of or, you will have no customers.P. S. It might help make the picture even more clear to include the fact that we were the only customers in the very small store, so its not likely they lost track of us in the crowd.
