This place is the absolute CUTEST! I took my daughter in with me and we had the best time splitting a yummy cookie and talking in the adorable kids’ area. It’s such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the home is so so beautiful. It definitely surpassed my expectations of a “coffee house” and inspired me to think and dream a little bigger. So fun!

My significant other found this place on Google, and I am So thankful he did. We are new to the area looking to permanently move here and I will absolutely frequent this spot. This coffee is so delicious. Thank you for making such great coffee. We are from Chicago and nothing compares to this up there. I would Much rather support this shop than any big chain.

The person behind the counter was not very pleasant. We liked the lattes but the muffins were very bad (little sugar balls). The house they are located in is very cozy and we love sitting on the front porch. This could be a great Coffee House if the baked goods were even average. Not many local coffee houses in Maryville (Vienna coffee) so they get good business....for now anyway. I hope they improve their baked goods and service to match their lattes and atmosphere.

Such an adorable spot. The lattes we ordered were a little cooler to temp than we prefer, so I would ask for it to be made extra hot if we went back again. Yet, the coffee shop was very nice and inviting - definitely embodied “southern charm”. They also have their own roasting machine in a room to the left and there is plenty of seating on the front and back porch and the two back rooms.I recommend the white chocolate raspberry mocha that I enjoyed on this visit.

I love businesses that use a lovely old house, and Southern Grace is no different. Light and airy, a variety of seating areas are available, including one child friendly room with toys and a child-sized table and chairs. There are many options for coffee drinks, and I had a yummy pumpkin chocolate chip muffin while sitting out on their wide, sheltered porch. Staff were all friendly, there’s a unisex bathroom. It’s definitely a Christian business but not overly in your face as to be uncomfortable for someone who isn’t.I’ll definitely be returning!

Quaint little coffee house. If you are looking for something other than a big chain coffee shop, then this is the place to go. Super friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious coffee. They also roast their own beans. Cant wait to make my own cup.

Best kept secret in Maryville. Little bit hard to find (behind the Police Dept and close to Maryville College) but definitely worth mapping. They ethically harvest all their own beans (even pay their farmers 10% more than any other company) and make their own syrups. The lavender syrup in a white chocolate mocha or latte is lovely. They will even grind their beans for you when you purchase a bag. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (porch) seating for any group.

I have been to many coffee houses before in various cities and locations but let me tell you that this place has the best tasting coffee I have ever tasted! The shop is not your typical starbucks like coffee shop. Its not even a coffee shop, its a coffee home, that has so much more to offer than just coffee! The atmosphere there is very welcoming and peaceful. Ill be back many more times to come!

Our car broke down 4 hours away from home and this place really brightened up our morning! The waffles are delicious and the atmosphere is amazing! I wish we had coffee shops like this back home. Cant wait to hopefully come back!

This place is amazing and so is the staff! The building is equipped with a southern charm, quiet, and cozy atmosphere. The drinks and fresh baked, gluten free goodies are delicious! I LOVE that this place illuminates the love of Jesus. The staff are very friendly. We also loved going to storytime! We will definitely be going back!

Driving around some small towns in TN and desperate for coffee. Pulled out Yelp, saw the solid ratings, and made a little detour. Coffee was good and prices were reasonable when you think about what you pay for Starbucks. Cute place with seating outside on the porch. Only downside is we were hoping for a snack and nothing in the cases. Get things are busy but it was morning so hopefully next time in town we get to try a bakery item.

A quiet but popular Mom and Pop type coffee shop in an old Victorian house. Multiple styles and flavor combinations Of drinks to choose from. Gluten free and Paleo baked goods. Comfortable seating areas for small group meetings and a wrap around porch for warm days.

Lovely setting with friendly staff. The latte was well made and they had a nice little snack selection available. They even had a room for kids with a play kitchen. I saw a sign that said storyline Tuesdays 10:30am Ill have to come back and check it out.

Southern Grace Coffee Company is hands down THE BEST coffee shop in East Tennessee. Id venture even to say, for me, its THE BEST coffee shop I have ever visited. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and very relaxing. Set near the historic downtown area in Maryville, this once lived in - newly restored Vintage style coffee shop is a great place to come chill. The owners and employees are second to none. Dont hesitate to give SGCC a try.

I got the London Fog. Plenty of seating. Very welcoming staff. Atmosphere was inviting.

The bees knees latte was DELICIOUS and the almond milk was foamed to absolute PERFECTION. the baristas were lovely and we really enjoyed sipping our coffees on the back grassy patio.

I love Southern Grace Coffee. The staff is amazing the owner is a amazing person as well. I go by several times a week and customer service, coffee quality, and atmosphere is always consistent, warm and inviting. There is no need to even think about Starbucks, Dunkin or even Vienna coffee shop.

Very cute shop, looks like a great place to spend a morning in normal circumstances. The drip coffee (Brewer’s Blend) I bought there was mediocre; I brewed a cup at home with their beans (Ethiopian) and it was pretty good. I’d definitely give their coffee another shot, but my concern right now is the lack of masks. I went there earlier this week (while Knoxville has one of the highest COVID rates per capita), not one of the 5-6 patrons wore a mask. While that’s not surprising, after all people are there to drink coffee, only 1 of the 4-5 people behind the counter were wearing a mask - props to you, woman behind the register. I’m glad the owner “take symptoms seriously” based on their reply to another review, but I’d feel a lot better if the staff would mask up. This place has a lot of potential, but I don’t think I’ll be going back until things settle down.

I feel like I found a secret haven. The same great, in-house roasted coffee as their last location, only now I can go hide in one of the various lovely rooms to work. Such a great space. Their London Fog is very good as well.

My husband and I used to get coffee here 2-3 times a week before the pandemic. We are high risk and can only do drive-thru or curbside, and decided to stop by and get coffees on a weeknight thinking they would do curbside. Well, they dont and the lady on the phone wasnt very nice about it either. We also saw lots of people not wearing masks and no social distancing. Were very disappointed and will not return as customers post pandemic.

I love coffee, so I decided to try some place new. I wanted an iced coffee, but they only serve iced latte, but I guess that was my own fault for saying that that was okay. It is a college area in an old house with kitchy items everywhere. It resonates with a trendier crowd than me and people were enjoying their conversations. Everyone was nice and all, but sometimes I just want a hot coffee with cream that fills up my insides, and this place didnt have that. Sorry guys, but it just isnt my jam and I wont be back.

The most charming historic home turned coffee shop with the friendliest staff and by far the best coffee in town! It has space for kids to play, a quiet space upstairs, and outdoor seating on the front porch! Absolutely love it and wont get coffee anywhere else!

This place is absolutely incredible!! Hands down the best latte I have EVER had, and the vibe of this coffee shop is sooo cozy. It’s so spacious so you have plenty of room to find a quiet nook to read or space to meet up with friends if you want to chat. I love that you also have the option to sit on the porch and drink your coffee too! The decor is soo adorable and I’m obsessed with all of the Scriptures and Jesus quotes that are tastefully located all around the shop. I could literally spend every weekend here and my heart would be so content. Please please please expand to Knoxville one day!!

I tried the white clover specialty drink and it was delicious! I wasnt able to spend much time there but I will return with time to lounge in the cozy place.

So I tried Southern Grace this past weekend and WOW! They were packed! But Im so excited that after one week in this new location, their business is BUMPING! There are a few this theyre still figuring out, but the staff was so friendly and warm and the actual atmosphere of the business was just as warm. Such a beautiful space and tasty treats. Im excited to try more of their products and I cant wait til they start roasting their own beans.

My wife loves to go here for great coffee and even better fellowship! The ambience in this coffee house is peaceful and unique. It appeals to a wide swath of folks. Moreover, the people who operate Southern Grace are both genuine and friendly. The coffee itself is superior and distinct from other purveyors. I am not an aficionado, but you can taste the difference. Also, try the Bee’s Knees if you’re not sure what to get... because it is as its name implies. Go So. Grace Coffee Co.!

Stood at counter for 3 minutes. Was never spoken to. Placed order (left tip) then waited 14 minutes for my order. 2 drinks- 1 coffee, 1 latte. Young man handed me the latte but “forgot” second drink. Then I ask for a refund, I was given a refund for a small coffee, I ordered a large. Very poor customer service, first visit and last visit.

Worst coffee we have ever had. We went here based on the reviews. The coffee was absolutely terrible! We couldn’t even get past 1 sip. Such a waste.

This little coffee shop has become my new favorite in Maryville. Very cozy space that feels very much like being at a friends house. Have tried a couple of their specialty drinks and they are great. Drip coffee is awesome with a choice of medium and dark blends that seem to rotate. They roast their own beans.

Got the white clover frappe with oat milk and it was amazing, my mom got Southern grace and it was just as good. The chocolate chip pumpkin muffin and apple were delicious as well. Its a cute little place to hang out and have some great coffee, will come back with friends.
